We decided to have our wedding reception at double tree. It was close to our house and the church where we were having our ceremony. It was very convenient,the bridal party was able to stay in the hotel the night before the wedding and they had a complimentary shuttle bus to take us to the church the next day. Everything went off without a hitch. Madison was the day of coordinator and made sure the ballroom was perfect before our guest were seated. My husband and brother in law did get sick that evening and neither of them drink but other than that the food and service was great. Would definitely use them again for future events

We used Catering by DoubleTree Reading for our wedding reception and could not have been more delighted! Working with Madison from start to finish was the best - she was always so lovely to us and accommodating with our requests. There was really nice flexibility with the menu where we could customize as we saw fit to match our taste. We were even able to have special mocktails created in honor of our two kitties! On the day of, the staff was so helpful and sweet during our reception especially when things could be overwhelming. We really appreciated the DoubleTree staff personally asking us if we needed anything and bringing us food and drinks throughout the night. Our guests loved the spread and a few people said it was the best food they'd had at a wedding reception before! Thank you so much to Madison and team for helping to make our special day perfect!

What made me give DoubleTree catering 4 starts and not 2-3 is for their superb staff. Madison and team were awesome to work with and got back to us in a timely manner. Our meal tasting and cocktail hour were great, however the main entrees served at our reception were disappointing. The veggies were undercooked to the point that some were raw and we were served a roast that was hard to cut and dry instead of the short ribs (which is what we picked and LOVED during our tasting). I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe they just had an off night since everything else was good? With that being said, it was pretty upsetting to hear a few days after our wedding that some of our guests barely touched their meal because it wasn't up to par.

We used Ala Carte Catering at GoggleWorks for our wedding and we could not have been more impressed with the service. We had to hire Ala Carte in the month of our wedding when the cater we originally hired we had to let go of. Even with just 1 month, they pulled everything together so wonderfully, provided everything we needed, we're a massive help with setting up and tying our reception together. I truly don't think our reception would have been as wonderful as it was with out them. Not to mention every single person that was there with them provided amazing service. If I could go back in time I wish I would have hired them in the first place and saved myself the headache of the original caterer.

Boscov's Ala Carte went way beyond our expectations for our wedding. Not only did they save us after our first choice of caterer decided to book another couple on our date and not tell us, but they we're 10 times better than our first choice! The food was great, the value was fantastic, and the employees and representatives were extremely friendly, helpful, and understanding. I was in the hospital for weeks right before my wedding (unexpectedly) and they were happy to take payment later than usual because of my situation. We got tons of compliments on all of the food and how flavorful it was. We even got compliments on how warm the food was (I guess some people had bad experiences at other weddings). The servers were very very friendly and got along great with our guests (one of them even danced a little when the party got a little more energetic, lol). I have no complaints whatsoever from them or their service. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone for any party.

We had seen Boscov's at a bridal show and were impressed by the quantity of samples they offered. We called up Boscov's for a menu and had it emailed to us the same day. The reply to emails and phone calls promptly. They are willing to adjust the menu to suit your individual needs. The add-ons to the menu are a real plus. We opted for the coffee bar and they allowed us to add hot chocolate to the bar for no extra cost. They also supplied all of the mixers, juices, sodas, and garnishes for our liquor drinks. Since we supplied all of the liquor and beer, the cost of the open bar was significantly less than going to a venue that charges by the person/hour. We really enjoyed dealing with Ron. His main priority was to make us happy no matter what. He was so flexible with our menu options. He also offered us a tasting of approximately 6 different entrees and 15 different appetizers. If you do the tasting, do not eat before you go. You'll be full just from trying all the samples they give you! Our ONLY complaint about Boscov's is that there was a little inconsistency in how we were told one of the cocktails would be served and how it was actually served, and there was some miscommunication between management and their bartender. Just make sure you speak with somebody in the office a couple days ahead and confirm any personalized details to your event. We received multiple compliments on the quality of the food, from our guests, and they were thrilled with the appetizer selection and taste. Boscov's will be our first phone call for any future catering needs!
