The tasting was way more involved than what you typically expect of small portions and still leaving hungry. You are able to try many different options, ones that you may have not even thought of, and I can promise you, you will not leave hungry!! My husband was afraid he wasn't going to get to eat on the day because everyone always tells you that, but we actually did get to eat so much food on our wedding day because she was always there offering us something- which was an amazing surprise. We also really enjoyed the goodie bag they packed for us the evening of the wedding. So sweet of them- they seriously think of everything.
We honestly could not have had a better experience with them. From the tasting (which blew us away) to the actual day- they didn't miss anything and were so proactive with communication. This team was STELLAR. Book them- you will not regret it.

As soon as we reviewed the menu options and had our tasting (my mouth is actually watering as I write this review) I knew we made the right choice. Even as we had our coordinator meetings with all of our vendors leading up to our day, they were all SO excited we chose John Lowe.
As far as expectations on the day of, I was blown away. We had our own personal assistant who catered to us and made sure we got our hor d'oeuvres and drinks as we were dragged away for pictures lol! In addition to bringing us food from the buffet and making sure I got my vegetarian options!
Everyone complimented us on how amazing the food was, I am so beyond happy we chose John Lowe!

Catering by John Lowe stuck with us through our wedding postponement due to COVID, and made it easy for us to rebook on our new date. They also came up with innovative ideas and made special accommodations to make sure all food was served in a way that made our guests feel safe. Working with their booking/billing team was also extremely easy and effortless. There were never any surprises along the way.
On the day of our wedding, everything turned out exactly the way we envisioned and was absolutely perfect. We served BBQ-style dishes, and the Bayou style mac & cheese was by far my favorite! The staff was beyond professional—prompt, courteous, and friendly. I especially loved that my husband and I had our own "private" server during cocktail hour and dinner who took extra special care of us!

After our food tasting we knew we had to book with them. Our guests raved about his food all night and the next day. One of our friends said they generally don't care for food at weddings but they said every single hors d'oeuvre and dinner were so delicious. Our friends told us they were chasing down the waiters to try every hors d'oeuvre. Our all time favorite thing from then is the cider and salted caramel, it was so perfect for our fall wedding. They made sure we were well hydrated and fed on our wedding day and kept us in the loop throughout the night. Highly recommend!

excellence not only when it comes to the taste of the food, but also the presentation, the set up, and the service. They are able to offer a menu for every budget which is important making them a vendor everyone should use. Their displays and food is over the top in the best way. We had added the apple cider station to our fall wedding and it was such a hit! My husband and I also got our own server for the night and he was so personable and would find us regardless of where we were to offer us a drink or food. I’ve been to many weddings where the bride and groom are starving at the end of the evening as they weren’t able to eat and this thankfully is not the case with John Lowe Catering we left not only full from the reception they also sent us home plates with everything from that day which we got to enjoy the next day..I could eat chef Johns peach bruschetta everyday. If you have the opportunity to work with John Lowe Catering I’m confident your experience will be the same as ours-better then you could imagine.

Susan was so easy to communicate with and noted each and every request we had! John's passion for cooking was very evident the day of our wedding. Everyone enjoyed every part of the cocktail hour and dinner. They had all the food hot and prepared at the same time so that all the guests were served within a certain amount of time. I cannot say enough about John Lowe and his family. Another awesome note... they donate any extra food to veterans who need help! I love them!

. The tasting was incredible. John and Susan were so sweet. They added on different things that they thought we would like. They gave us lots of space when we were trying things out (even though we all agreed it was delicious). The food was absolutely incredible so we of course booked them for our wedding this past May! John and his team created an unbelievable spread that was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh! His team was very attentive to my husband and I throughout the day and got us anything we needed! They also helped create a lunch menu for our bridal party while we were getting ready. John and his team felt like family from the moment we met. At our tasting, they noticed I wasn’t eating tomatoes so they made a not that I didn’t like tomatoes so I didn’t get any of them on the big day! It was adorable.
Old post: My fiance, mom and I recently went for our tasting and had an amazing time. Sue and John were so kind and made us feel so comfortable right from the start. The service was amazing, The food was incredible and we left very full and happy! We cannot wait for the rest of our families and friends to try! We had a fourth person scheduled to come to the tasting with us and they cancelled last minute but Sue and John never made us feel uncomfortable about that!
