Overall everything went perfectly! Would recommend. The catering coordinator helped customize the order to our needs and communicated very well. The menu and prices are clearly published on their website catalog (with pictures!) and items are sold a la carte which made choosing very straightforward. On the event day, the food was delivered on time, at the right temperatures, and with no trouble at all. Many compliments from guests.

Everything was easy from beginning to end! Extremely flexible with changes and so helpful with suggestions! Our Nacho Bar was A HIT! It was our 1st date food so we went with it for our wedding and well and everyone was thrilled!! Excellent Service throughout the entire event!!

We hosted a rehearsal dinner at Hughes Pavilion in Centennial Lakes Park. We hired Kowalski’s to cater this event. Their event planner, Emily, was easy and helpful to work with to make the event exactly what we wanted. Jordan completed the delivery and set up and was also very pleasant to work with and had the set up looking fantastic. We had compliments on the food. We were happy with the event and would use Kowalski’s again.

We hired Kowalski’s to cater our backyard wedding reception. We loved them! We met with Milissa to confirm what we wanted and to finalize plans a few weeks before our big day. The team that came to set up, serve and clean up did a fantastic job. Heard from many guests how great the food was. Thanks so much!

Food was excellent and looked wonderful! All guests remarked about the tastiness and quality. The Jamaican Jerk chicken was a real hit. The cake was also excellent, especially the chocolate. The white-on-white decoration on the cake was just as requested. Kowalski’s was easy to work with, and Emily was helpful in figuring out quantities of food needed.

Kowalski's created a beautiful wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. From the first day we met with Kowalski's to the wedding day, the planning process was seamless. Communication with us felt like a priority and no question went unanswered. The day of the wedding Kowalski's was on time, professional and went out of their way to make sure anything we needed was taken care of. I would definitely recommend Kowalski’s for special events, the food was excellent, the table settings were beautiful, and the staff was extremely accommodating.

Forgotten. This was for a 50th wedding anniversary party... so not a wedding... but a related event for sure. While it was wonderful working with them to set up my order, when the day came we were forgotten. When the order did not arrive at the scheduled time, I needed to navigate voice mails and department phone numbers to address the issue. Food showed up an hour and 20 minutes late and without the water bottles I ordered (on a 90 degree day). It took another half hour for those to arrive. On the phone, they told me they would "make it right." It's been over a week and I have not heard from them. The food is good, and presentation is attractive. I'm sure if you have a larger catering order they will pay attention to that, but if your event is small, make sure you call the day before and morning of.

We hired Kowalski's for catering and bar service at our wedding and they were amazing in every aspect. Emily was an absolute gem to work with and always responded to my questions and changes throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, the staff was so helpful in flipping the space and moving around the room with ease to make sure our guests had everything they needed. Emily was also there and made sure to check in multiple times to see that they were meeting expectations, which they absolutely were! If you are looking for full-service catering for your wedding I highly recommend Kowalski's.

We ordered catering from Kowalski's for the day after the wedding open house/brunch party. We had 62 people attend, and there were rave reviews about the food. The Kowalski's staff were great to work with and flexible. The delivery person was friendly and helpful and loved our dogs! I would highly recommend them - good options and great service!

The kowalskis 3 tier wedding cake was superb. It was almost too beautiful to cut. Cutting it was one of the best decisions ever made. It was truly decadent. WOW! We chose the champagne flavor with a vanilla buttercream frosting. We chose very simple in terms of decoration.

In the midst of the pandemic, Emily Shultz and the Kowalski’s Catering staff were amazing. They prepared single, sealed hors d’oerves plates and wedding cupcakes, also single serving, sealed. It was beautifully presented. Emily was professional, creative and had great ideas. The food was superb. Kowalski’s more than delivered on our very Covid wedding.

Really great to work with. Because of COVID changes our estimate was a moving target - and they were super accommodating. The final product was not only perfect down to minute details - but the guests loved our prepacked gourmet meals. Highly recommend this vendor for any catered gathering.

Extremely organized! Delicious foods! We had an outdoor wedding and we were so impressed with the delivery and timing of our appetizers, salads and entree’s ( which were delivered hot! )Professional wait staff and chef on site! Amazing! They brought it to the high level possible!

The food was excellent and we received rave reviews from our guests. Everything arrived on time. Equally important, the staff were extremely professional and efficient. We really appreciated their sensitivity and focus on the safety of our guests during the pandemic.

Kowalski's was great! We were skeptical at first since we only know them for the grocery store, but the food was fantastic and the people incredible. Also, since we had a small COVID wedding we did their drop-off service and they were on time, super polite, and it was a no-stress experience. Our guests loved the food and we were able to have options for our gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy-free guests! On top of all that, we sent a picture of the cake design we wanted and it looked absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend them to any couples that want an easy and fuss-free caterer, especially if you are doing a small boho backyard wedding like ours!

Kim with Kowalskis's catering was so easy to work with and helped design the perfect wedding cake for my husband and I and pick out the perfect desserts for guests. The communication was great and set up the day of was straight forward and easy. Not to mention the desserts and cake were delicious! Wedding plans changed on very short notice as we moved from an indoor to outdoor reception. I called Kowalski’s just 1 week prior to the big day and they delivered! Great meal, rented hot boxes to keep the food warm while serving. Delivery and setup were right on schedule! We got a lot of compliments on the quality of the meal from our guests. I highly recommend Kowalski’s!

Last week Kowalskis catered our backyard wedding, and we were very pleased. We did a tasting of food options at the Shoreview store, and this was helpful in deciding which appetizers and dinner items to select. Emily skillfully helped us iron out all the details involved with executing our event and made great recommendations based on her vast experience as an event planner. The bartenders and serving staff arrived on time, and they were organized, friendly, and capable. The hot food was served hot, and our guests enjoyed the food we had chosen. We would heartily recommend Kowalskis Catering to anyone having an event at home!

Kowalski’s was an absolute delight to work with!! They were very accommodating and flexible from the start. We had a few odd requests and they were more than willing to help us out. Even during the coronavirus pandemic, they helped us restructure our order to cater to our changing wedding plans. The food and cake were AMAZING and all our guests loved every bite. We went back and forth on what we wanted to do for dinner and appetizers for our wedding. Kowalski’s was one of the first places we had reached out to, so the sheer number of quotes Emily produced for us would warrant five stars alone! Through it all, Emily was very friendly and accommodating. Eventually we asked Kowalski’s to cater just the cocktail hour appetizers, but we were very impressed. The Kowalski’s team dropped off on time, the food was good, and overall this ended up being something we didn’t have to worry about on the day, which was a great relief.

We used Kowalski’s to cater our wedding. The food was amazing. Everything stayed fresh and the hot foods stayed warm in their heat boxes before being served. Everything was amazing from the first bite until the last bite four hours later. I would recommend their food to anyone.

Honestly, we would recommend Kowalski's for a wedding or event any day. They were amazing and affordable at the same time. We had them do a buffet and the bar with bartender. Efficient and excellent service. They deftly handled both gluten free and vegan entrees and allowed us to bring in gf and vegan desserts. Emily is in charge of catering and does an amazing job. We got rave reviews on the food. Really added to a very special day. Wonderful! And they are local. Use Kowalski's.

I am very pleased with how our cakes turned out from Kowalski's. The ordering and delivery process was smooth, very affordable and the cake tasted great!! Definitely would recommend for your wedding!

Kowalski's (via Emily Schultz) provided high quality food and superior service during the event. They were flexible and accommodating during the planning process, offering advice and suggestions. We needed the advice as we were totally clueless as to how to plan our reception! They set everything up at the event (tables, tablecloth) since we did not have a decoration service contracted, tore everything down, 100% service. Would use again and highly recommend!

We recently hosted an engagement party for our son and his fiancé in which Kowalski’s provided a full service experience with an extensive appetizer and dessert buffet, hosted open bar, and floral decor. It was a very convenient, seamless and effortless process being able to have all our needs met by one company. The catering department is professional and well practiced in all manner of events. There were no concerns on our part that our ideas and desires were ever being dismissed or altered for their convenience or any other reason. From the time of the initial face to face meeting with Donna Gregg, to the day of the event where she personally stopped in twice to help, she phoned, emailed and coordinated with the floral department as well as with the venue to assure that all the moving parts were in sync. She worked hard to translate the spirit of the event into amazing flavors and a beautiful atmosphere. The service staff onsite, was also professional, efficient and courteous. There have been nothing but compliments from the 100+ guests including our son’s future in-laws. We are completely satisfied and recommend Catering by Kowalski’s to anyone planning a special event.

I worked with Emily Schultz on my dessert catering order for Caramel Apple Crisp, and it could not have gone better! Emily made it easy to understand what they could offer (serving units per order, delivery or pick-up options...etc) and sent a quote within a day of first speaking via phone. She even coordinated two free large slices to be set aside for us at our local market to taste-test before ordering. Well, we were sold at first bite! I simply called back a month before our wedding to confirm the number of people we needed to serve, payment info and name of our Catering Director at our venue and that was it. We got many compliments on the unique and delicious choice of dessert! Thank you for the wonderful customer experience and delicious dessert, Kowalski's!

We used Kowalski's for our wedding cakes and are so happy we did. We served 140 people cake and still have 3 cakes leftover in our freezer- all for less than $230. Kowalski's was easy to work with and very efficient. They offered a tasting but we actually just bought pieces of cake from the bakery at our local store. We ended up getting red velvet, salted caramel chocolate, and champagne. All of the cake was delicious and looked beautiful as well. Our guests raved about how great it tasted!

Kowalski's did an amazing job on catering our wedding. They were very pleasant and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with the appetizers we served at our wedding. Everyone was raving about the wonderful flavors. We offered 11 different appetizer dishes and took the leftovers which were awesome.

We ordered our wedding cupcakes and wedding cake from Kowalski's in Eagan, MN. My husband and I never got around to cutting our wedding cake, much less did I even get to taste a cupcake but I got a ton of compliments from guests as to how tasty the cupcakes were. We passed out left over cupcakes at the end of the night and there wasn't a cupcake left in sight! We got chocolate and white cupcakes with a butter cream frosting. We got to use 3 cupcake towers from Kowalski's for free which really helped with the presentation. I was pleased with the price of 250 cupcakes and a 10 inch cake. I would recommend Kowalski's for anyone not looking to spend a whole lot on wedding desert!

Kowalski's catered both the Groom's Dinner and the Wedding reception. Both were stylish, artistic, and full of rich quality. If you're looking for a quality caterer, this is it!

Our guests loved the food choices.we had plenty to go around.decent value.we had buffet style and choose to do limited rentals but the coordinator did a nice job of getting the linens and tables set up.the service was good a well.
