ere, but the barrier to entry felt really high - we didnt have a limitless budget, we didnt have many friends that got married here to bounce recommendations off of, and we have very demanding jobs that did not allow us the time to really research how to plan and execute the wedding we wanted. We were blessed and are so incredibly thankful that we discovered Carina and the CB Event & Design team to support us, we absolutely could not have done it without them. We selected to have full planning services as we knew that we were way over of skiis when it came to anything wedding. We didnt know what we didnt know, we didnt know how much things generally cost, and we didnt know where to start. Carina took care of everything and allowed us the ease to participate in the pieces that were exciting and of value to us, keeping the stressful details in the background so we didnt have to worry ourselves. For 18 months she and her team carefully helped us craft the vision we had for an initmate roof top wedding that felt both approacbale yet glamourous into reality. As a bride, the pressure of a perfect day naturally falls on your shoulders, no one is looking at the groom if the flowers are not right or if the food is cold. This pressure, initially, made me think maybe I didnt want a wedding at all and eloping would be the better option. These pressures melted away working with Carina. She talked me off many a ledge and her attention to every detail gave me the confidence and trust to let go and let her team handle it. May 18th is now my favorite day and I am so thankful for the wedding we had. Everything about it was perfect and my now husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. We were present and relaxed and knew that each part of the day was taken care of and exactly how we hoped it would be. Carina and her amazing network vendors, which is an underrated asset byy the way, [she knows the best!!] curated a weekend we are still getting omcpliments on 7 months later. I could go on and on about this team but ill leave this for brides and grooms to be, the gift of being present on our wedding day is something I will forever be grateful for - all i had to think about was marrying my best friend, not if the caterers showed up, or the music was right or if we were on schedule and I have Carina and team to thank for that.

Carina is such a sweetheart and I can't thank her enough for EVERYTHING. From finding the perfect vendors, to answering my million texts she made sure my husband and I had our perfect wedding. I cannot recommend cb enough!!

us through elements of the process we hadn’t even thought of. As the day approached, Carina and her team handled just about everything, allowing us to enjoy time with out-of-town guests and with each other. Over the course of the wedding weekend, Carina and Bri were everywhere, to the point that it felt like if we were to drop something, they would have caught it before it hit the floor. In particular, when one of our guests became ill and decided to stay in their hotel room, the team went out of their way to have the dinner they missed brought up to them. Carina’s approach to her work brought us peace of mind and an ability to stay present throughout the reception.

multiple tiers for support. Overall, day of coordination was a bit of an undersell for a black tie wedding, and I would recommend other brides to pay up for at least their middle tier service to make the month and days leading up to the event a little more seamless - with more vendors and coordination involved in black tie/formal event, I think the extra support would have alleviated some stress!

kinds of small details. Leading up to the big day, they were communicative and responsive to all of our questions. They definitely helped us enjoy our day and not to feel too stressed. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or any other big event.

She advocates for her clients, and offers guidance and suggestions along the way to help you fulfill the vision for your perfect event. Knowing that she had everything handled allowed us to relax the day of and just be present for our celebration. Truly could not have done this without her help!

still think about the couple's joy that day and how it was perfectly accented by all the details + coordination that made their wedding day special. Personally, I was the photographer, and I'm so excited to have already partnered up with Carina again for more weddings this year. She was so organized from the second we got in touch, and she made my job easier, so I can't wait to return the favor!

r vision come to life. We were so overwhelmed by how many decisions needed to be made and she put us at ease. Carina came in person with us to multiple tastings and rental company visits, to help us process through everything. Not only is Carina and her team great at planning, but their ability to execute the day of the wedding was perfect. In the coming days after our wedding, family and friends reached out to compliment how smooth our wedding was. They shared that there’s “always” a delay with something during big events, but that was not evident during our wedding. During our wedding, Carina and Holli were on top of everything. During cocktail hour, we saw Holli be intentional about helping our guests figure out where they were to sit during the reception to help avoid a big buildup during the transition to dinner. While dancing the night away, we noticed Carina help tape up a guest’s dress that was too long once she had taken her heels off to dance. (Carina also did this for the bride, but seeing her go above and beyond for our guests meant a lot to us). Getting back to our hotel room after a long night and realizing that the team brought us two takeaway boxes of mini desserts from our wedding. All of these “little things” added up to the planning and execution of a night that we will never forget. We thank them a million times, and again, highly recommend the use of this wonderful team.

From the knowledge of her vendors and coordination with them up to our big day, to questions we never would have known to ask with our venue, to making sure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible, she did an incredible job and would definitely recommend to a friend or family member. If we had any criticism at all, it would be that it took a few weeks to get our initial budget & timeline up in running, which did cause a bit of anxiety in the beginning given our unusually short timeline and as a very detail-orientated couple. That said, ultimately Carina and her team produced the wedding of our dreams with a fantastic attitude throughout the entire process. Even afterwards, her team was still helping to make sure we got the final invoices and services we were lookin for from dry cleaning to flower preservation. She was a pleasure to work with, made herself available throughout the entire process and would highly recommend!

iry god mother throughout the whole wedding planning process and day of events! Not only was she just an absolute pleasure to work with, but she had the best "Can Do" attitude. A lot of things can go wrong and don't go according to plan, but Carina always had a solution! Our wedding was just absolutely amazing and huge part of that was because of Carina. She also had this calming presence and was always available whenever we needed her. We always felt at ease after talking to Carina!! She also stepped in last minute to help with our Nigerian traditional ceremony when we were having some difficulties with decor. We can never thank her enough for all that she did to truly make our wedding dreams come true!!! A true professional!!

arina is great to work with and helped take the load off of not just the bride, but the whole wedding party, ensuring we could focus on what was important. A cherry on top was that they took candid videos throughout the day, which was lovely to watch the week after to re-live some of those moments. Hands down the best investment for our wedding.

of. Carina was my primary contact and was onsite day-of. We planned it 90% remotely: my now-husband and I live in California. I hired her in early April for a MID-JUNE wedding because we had to let my first planner go, so I was panicked at the time. {Formatting is bad on this site - sorry about readability!} TOP REASONS SHE/CBED WERE AWESOME: - 1. NEVER tried to upsell us. ... - 2. Knows the industry, standard rates, and all sorts of events people around town. ... - 3. Communicated constantly the weeks before, putting my mind at ease. .... OTHER RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: - Successfully negotiated with venue week-of when they tried to be lazy not taking some unattractive infrastructure down that they had erected .... - Fixed a fashion emergency with groom that I never knew about .... - Was the driver between hotel-venue for members of my wedding party that night AND me and my husband to photo site .... - Make a plate of food for me during hair & makeup (I asked others, but they would be swept away or get distracted!) I would not have eaten beforehand otherwise. .... - Brought straws up to the hotel suite just so I wouldn’t mess up my lipstick drinking. Small, but a considerate detail! .... - Generally made sure I had restroom breaks and handed me food, water, booze - if I requested - during the wedding to make sure I was hydrated or feelin’ good .... - Worked as the laptop DJ so we wouldn’t have to pay to hire a DJ. .... ..... And probably a dozen other things that I never even realized. Not only did she execute my vision (which was “urban garden oasis” in a small, personal, interfaith ceremony), she also respected our budget that we stated. We never felt like her vendors were her primary stakeholder. Equally important, Carina is simply a fun, bubbly, kind person you want to get to know and feel in good hands with. Makes sense that she’s a former nurse.
