We cannot say enough about how TRULY AMAZING the CD & Me team was. From day one, Catherine was professional and organized and was 100% the reason we chose this location, it was an added bonus that the space and property were gorgeous! Catherine's team provided great vendor recommendations, they coordinated all the deliveries and last minute details the week of and were so attentive so everything we needed the day of our wedding. We had our ceremony on site in front of the waterfall and it was the perfect spot! The background was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. The best part was after dinner they opened up the garage doors and we had an indoor-outdoor reception with the huge fireplace lit and dancing all night. I can't say enough about how perfect our day was thanks to this team!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous!!!! We were in the Mica and our guests and ourselves loved every second!!! We had a fantastic time working with Catherine and her team and they truly eased the stresses that we had!! I can not recommend this place enough!

We were absolutely amazed by how amazing our wedding reception at CD&ME was for our July 2023 wedding! My husband and I had our reception in the Mica, and all our guests were so complimentary. We had many people from out of town saying they've never experienced anything like this before and that the atmosphere was so perfect and engaging for guests to have space to enjoy themselves inside and outside on the beautiful patio area. Catherine and the rest of the CD&ME staff made our day go so smoothly. Catherine was extremely helpful and detail oriented and is truly passionate about ensuring that her brides and grooms are able to enjoy the day of their dreams! She worked well in coordinating with our outside vendors as well as giving us a great list of recommendations to rely on. She truly made the day magical. Would highly recommend anyone getting married in the Chicago suburbs to check out CD&ME!

Booking CD&ME as our venue was one of the first and best decisions we made for our wedding. I cannot say enough amazing things about the venue, the coordinator Catherine, and our whole experience with the venue. Catherine was so helpful throughout the process and she made sure our day was perfect. I truly don’t know how she does it with all the weddings they have. The staff on the day of the wedding was amazing. Everyone at our wedding has talked about how our wedding was the most beautiful and best wedding they have ever been to. We cannot recommend enough!

I'm not even sure where to start when talking about how absolutely wonderful CD&ME was to have my wedding at and how amazing of a wedding coordinator Catherine is. First, CD&ME is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Chicagoland suburbs. To think I would have potentially gotten married anywhere else is unimaginable at this point! The Mica is stunning and has wonderful indoor AND outdoor spaces. There is also a great top-shelf bar that was staffed very efficiently throughout our wedding day. We received SO many compliments from guests on how effortlessly the flow from inside to outside during the reception was. The landing that the wedding ceremony takes place on at the Mica is also breathtaking, looking out onto water and beautiful landscaping. Catherine was a miracle worker in coordinating our wedding (and ALL the other weddings) affected by COVID-19. She ensured appropriate social distancing measures would take place not only by her staff but also by all of our vendors. Before the pandemic, Catherine already promises to serve as the liaison between couples and their vendors, which is an added plus! She was also very accommodating in working with my fiancée and I, especially while one or both of us were living in another state and trying to set our date and plan our wedding. Catherine was also incredibly reachable which was SO much appreciated during the days leading up to the wedding regarding last minute details. Thank you, Catherine and CD&ME, for the most unforgettable experience! Without you, we wouldn't have had nearly as smooth as a planning process nor wedding day!

I cannot say enough nice things about CD&ME. The property is gorgeous. Catherine is on top of her game in terms of helping coordinate everything. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was awful but CD&ME was reassuring and flexible every step of the way. They did everything possible to make our wedding what we wanted and safe for everyone. We love CD&ME!

Catherine is WONDERFUL! And such a beautiful venue for my fall wedding. All my guests were raving about how gorgeous the space was!

10 million stars to Catherine S. for being the angel that came from our wedding. Not only was this a stressful 2020 wedding, but I had some pretty crappy vendors. Catherine was a God send. CD & Me is beautiful, but honestly Catherine was worth it all. She is polite and treats you as if you are her own daughter getting married there. She helped set up centerpieces (which is not on her job list-i just had a horrible vendor), worked with our bakery, kept an eye on all the guest to ensure they were having fun, AND even remember how bummed my mom was that she didn't get a piece of cake at my sisters wedding... so she set a special plate aside just for her. She made this day feel flawless even though there were seriously so many flaws haha. I was so sad when we had to change our venue due to COVID but I don't know what my husband and I would of done without her. Thank you CD & Me for giving us the best night of our lives yet!

CD & ME was a beautiful spot for our daughter's wedding. The indoor/outdoor facility was perfect for a summer evening. The grounds are pristine and the indoor facility is tastefully decorated!. Catherine and staff were so helpful and accomodating during the uncertain planning due to CoVid. Our guests loved the venue - especially how well stocked the bar was! I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Our day was like a dream, everything was perfect. The venue is so beautiful and unique, you really don't need to do a ton of work to make your wedding gorgeous. Our family and friends loved being there and thought it really stood out compared to your typical reception hall. The staff are also fabulous. Catherine helped us along our planning journey and I really can't say enough good things about her. She went above and beyond to make us not only love every detail of our day but to feel totally comfortable. 12/10 all the way around.

CD & ME is the absolute perfect wedding venue. We got married in The Loft. The exposed brick, twinkle lights and rustic charm were everything we were looking for when we were looking for a venue that fit our style. Our guests gathered by the lit bonfire pit and raved about the venue days after our wedding. Catherine is a dream to work with. She is so kind, reassuring, and professional, and was there for me every step of my planning process. She answered all of my questions and accommodated all my needs, making what an overwhelming process very smooth and easy. Kathy was our day-of coordinator and was exceptional! I highly recommend CD & ME!

CD & ME was the most beautiful and magical venue for our wedding day! We had our wedding in the newer space - The Mica. It was everything I had dreamed of and more. Catharine was so helpful with every question I had. Living out of state and planning a wedding had its challenges, but Catherine made it so easy. She hosted tasting events to be able to experience all of the caterers. As I lived out of state I had my mom and sister attend, which Catharine accepted with open arms and made them feel so welcomed - answering all of their questions and showing them around the grounds as The Mica was being built. She communicated every detail with me. She was so accommodating with my schedule when I was in town. When I finally got a chance to see The Mica in person it truly took my breath away. Day of Marni was our coordinator. She was so professional, kind, and eased my mind as we were running a bit behind schedule. She allowed us to extend our cocktail hour a bit so we could chat and hangout with our guests. She checked in with us throughout the night making sure everything was going perfectly and that it did! We truly cannot say enough about the whole CD&ME staff and how amazing this venue is! We had the best day and will remember it forever and a lot of that is because of this amazing group of people who helped make it so perfect! We love CD&ME!! Mary and Patrick

We cannot recommend this venue enough! You will not regret booking your wedding with cd and me. Catherine, from start to finish, was the best wedding coordinator you could ever ask for! We had the pleasure of having our September 1st ceremony and reception in The Loft at CD&ME. We knew we wanted a unique venue and from the first time we toured CD&ME, we knew it was special. Catherine immediately felt like family and was so easy to work with. No matter how many emails/questions we sent her way, she was always prompt in response. The whole team at CD&ME was so organized and professional. Every detail was thought of and planned for. Catherine communicated with all the vendors to arrange setup, deliveries, and take down - we didn't have to worry about a thing! Our day of coordinator, Kathy, was fantastic. She seemed so genuinely excited for our special day and kept everything running smoothly. We had a few last minute changes to our seating chart the day of the wedding and Catherine & Kathy took care of everything. We could not be happier in our choice to have our wedding at CD&ME!

I cannot say enough great thinks about CD & Me. We recently got married in the Loft and it was nothing short of spectacular. Catherine the wedding coordinator was amazing the week leading up to the wedding. She contacted all of the vendors and confirmed times and locations with them as well as with us. On the day of the wedding Marnee was our wedding coordinator and she was spectacular. She was with us every step of the way throughout the evening making sure that we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond setting up our late night food, making sure we had drinks and food, pinning up one of our bridesmaids dress when it ripped, and ensuring that our sparkler send off went off without a hitch (just to name a few things). All of our guests raved about the venue after the wedding and loved everything about it!

I can't begin to say how wonderful a place this is. From touring, to booking, to the wedding, everything was perfect. Catherine, Cathy, and Marnie made us feel like family. Everything on our day went so smooth we didn't need to worry about anything. The Loft is a beautiful venue that everyone should consider, the outdoor space and fire pit made for the perfect late night break from the dancefloor

When we looked at CD & ME the price was a little steep, however the venue is so worth it! We booked in the loft and it is such a unique venue that is unlike any of the traditional banquet halls that you see at most weddings. Also if you are looking for something rustic feeling without going so far as a barn, the loft is the perfect blend. It has a rustic, romantic, industrial, indoor/outdoor feel that really sets it apart from many other venues. Anyone that loves Fixer Upper or Modern Rustic feel this is the exact venue for you. It has a bit of the rustic flare without being a true barn. The lighting and the grounds are so beautiful during the day but at night, OMG! We got married at 5:30pm and the sun was setting (but not in everyone's eyes) and then enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio. By the time we settled in for dinner the string lights were on and there was a very romantic, cozy feel. They also have three huge garage doors that they open up to the patio space to promote the feel of an indoor/outdoor wedding. We got super lucky in that we had a perfect night where everyone ventured in and out all night long. I was a little weary of putting some of the guests upstairs in the loft but we just made sure that they were some of the younger guests that wouldn't be afraid to come back downstairs for dancing and drinks. Also, the bar is open during dinner!! This was a huge selling point for my husband as he hates the mad dash when everyone gets drinks before dinner. Finally, I will say the staff here is simply to die for! I really contemplated getting a wedding planner for all the details but once I started working with Catherine and Kathy I realized there was no need. These ladies are fantastic! Catherine took care of so many of the details in the week before the wedding and ensured that all the vendors knew where to go and when to get there. Kathy was with us for the evening and really was amazing at making sure everything was taken care of and nothing got missed. She checked in with me and my parents through out the evening to ensure that there wasn't anything else we needed to do. I could go on for days about the team there and how supportive and great they were. Our guests raved about how beautiful the place was and how unique it truly was. If you are looking for a venue that is a little unique and really delivers this is the place for you!

Hands down the best venue possible to hold a wedding. Catherine was AMAZING at helping to make sure we had everything covered during the entire planning process, which was especially great for me because I was so overwhelmed and under-prepared for everything. She was so nice and helpful, and never seemed judgmental toward our decisions (or at us not having a decision yet!). Marnie and Brenda were our day-of coordinators and they did the best job at making sure things ran smoothly. I can't say enough good things about the 3 of those ladies!! The venue itself is just perfect. It was a beautiful summer day and all the landscaping made for a beautiful backdrop. We had the entire facility (you can choose from the Loft or the Mica, or rent out both which we did), and our dancing part of the reception was in the Loft. It was the perfect evening to have the garage doors rolled up, and we had brought bags games, so it was the perfect setup for people who aren't dancers to be able to do something other than just sit awkwardly at a table - while still being able to enjoy the music and feel like a part of the party because they were just outside. The huge fire pit outside the Loft was a great addition too. People haven't stopped telling me how awesome and beautiful the venue was! (Also made for some great pictures.) If I had to plan another wedding, I would no doubt choose CD & ME again!

CD & ME was a dream reception venue! My husband and I got married June 16, 2018 and had our reception in the Loft. We were the only wedding that night, but there can be another wedding in their other location in the tent (aka Mica). Though, the two locations are far away enough where you would not be able to hear them. Catherine was so helpful throughout the whole entire process! Everything was perfect. My husband and I loved the rustic and indoor/outdoor atmosphere CD & ME offered. Truly a magical place with many amazing locations for pictures. CD & ME has you choose between 3 vendors for food. We went with Ambrosinos. Their food was amazing. Every single guest came up to me that night and raved at how awesome the food and how beautiful venue was. I highly recommend if you are looking for a unique/rustic wedding reception venue!!!

My husband and I got married in the loft a few weeks ago and we cannot say enough wonderful things not only about the venue, but also the staff here. We chose CD & ME as we did not want a "standard" banquet hall and fell in love when we walked in the door for a tour in January. It is such an unique and special place and the gazebo and loft area are simply gorgeous. We have received many compliments from our guests that it was a pleasant surprise from the norm. From the very beginning, Catherine was absolutely amazing; she answered every single question, was always available if we needed anything, gave helpful advice, and just made the whole process very easy. Kathy and Brenda were our coordinators on our wedding day and they were fabulous! They made sure we had everything that we needed and keep the night moving along as it was suppose to! They also hold "tastings" which allow you to meet several different vendors at one time. Rural 27, Events Catering, and Wish Photography as well as John (CD & ME DJ) were all easy to work with and made the whole process simple and enjoyable. Overall, the whole experience was one that we will never forget and we recommend CD & ME to everyone!

CD&ME was the perfect venue for our wedding! Catherine was amazing to work with and she was extremely patient with me. She was always available for our calls and e-mails and really made planning a lot easier for us. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is great. Highly recommend, it was the easiest decision for us to make. :)

Loved everything about our wedding and CD&ME made it super easy. Whenever I had questions or concerns Catherine was very easy to get a hold of. The day of was great had 2 event managers who made sure the day was everything we wanted and more. Would recommend again.

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS! You have to see it to believe it! I was told my wedding was the best they've ever been to and I KNOW it was all because of CD&ME. It's an odd name, and the owner would agree with you. When you tell people the wedding was at CD&ME and they've been there before, their eyes light up with excitement because they remember what a great time they had when they were there. The staff there are the friendliest most profession people you will ever meet. I walked in for our first look and my flowers hadn't arrived yet and I was beside myself with frustration for my florist. Without skipping a beat I was handed a glass of champagne, told she'll be here, and if she's not we will improvise. All night long I wasn't bothered by a single guest or vendor. They took care of EVERYTHING! I can't thank them enough for how easy it was for everyone (including me) to have the time of their lives! Thank you for an unforgettable party =c)

My fiance and I had been looking for something out of the ordinary, not just another banquet hall, for our wedding. We found just that with CD & ME and couldn't have been happier with each detail leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. I can't speak enough for their process of helping couples prepare for the wedding day, and their coordinator Catherine was top-notch and very understanding. The people there are great and made it a worthwhile investment in our wedding day!

Had my wedding here and loved the place! Gorgeous ! All of our guests loved it and thought it was the perfect place for an outdoor wedding. However the staff were a little unorganized. Wish the communication and organization would have been better. I would recommended this venue.

My husband and I along with our parents chose this place for the beautiful scenery! Everyone there was so easy to work with and so accommodating! When I started planning our wedding I decided I didn't want a typical banquet hall ( you know where all the rooms look the same and it's the same menu and same decor for every wedding). Cd & me offered a beautiful and unique venue. All our guest said they had never been to a wedding at a place like that and they loved it! I highly recommend cd&me to anyone. There staff there is the absolute best!!

CD and Me was our first choice when we began planning our wedding, but due to timing issues, we originally went with another venue that 8 months after booking closed due to bankruptcy. We contacted CD and Me again and they greeted us with open arms and were so accomodating with all the plans we originally had. Our wedding day turned out stunning. Words cannot describe how beautiful the grounds are. We had our wedding in the Loft and we had so many compliments on how unique everything was. We wanted a venue that was unlike any other and was not a cookie cutter banquet hall- this definitely fit our style! Pricing was extremely reasonable and worth every penny. I would recommend this to anyone.

Me and my husband were drawn in by everything this venue had to offer. The outdoor area was just beautiful. I could have never imagined out wedding would be as amazing as it was. We had our own wedding planner who made sure that me, my husband, and our parents were taken care of the whole night with whatever we needed. While planning the wedding the two women that run the office answered every question we could think of in great detail. This will be one of the top recommendations that I will give to anyone.

The venue is gorgeous! We had our ceremony outside by the gazebo. There is a huge firepit & waterfalls. Our reception was at the south facility & it couldn't have been more perfect! The event coordinators & actually everyone that works there was OUTSTANDING!! They will help you every step of the way. They even helped me find our cake lady & the reverand that performed our ceremony as well as our caterer!!

As soon as we visited CD&ME, we knew we wanted our wedding reception there. It's a beautiful venue and the North tented facility had just been constructed. We booked nearly 2 years in advance to lock in their early pricing structure. Catherine at CD&ME was fantastic and always returned emails in a timely manner and was in touch throughout our planning. As time got closer to our wedding, a few things happened. First, CD&ME sent our final invoice with pricing different than what we had initially discussed. There was supposed to be a discounted rate for children 12 & under and they charged us full adult price, although adult price included alcohol (obviously kids can't drink). That was a major factor in us choosing them because we had a LOT of kids in attendance. Luckily, I keep ALL my emails so I re-sent Catherine an email from March 2009 where she had described the pricing structure they initially told us. CD&ME was great about it and said they would honor that pricing, even though it is different now. They did'nt give us a hard time. The day of the wedding, much to our surprise, a different wedding coordinator was on sight, not Catherine. We were never told that she would not be at our reception and were surprised to see this other wedding coordinator we had never met. After being in touch with Catherine about every detail of the wedding for the past 2+ years, we always assumed she was going to be at our reception. We would have liked to be told that someone else was filling in so we would have known ahead of time. One major problem was the lack of security at our reception. Although we were having so much fun that we didn't notice, many relatives saw 2 guys dressed in street clothes at the bar and walking around in our crowd of guests. They were even dancing in our conga line! A few people saw them near our gifts and immediately told the wedding coordinator at CD&ME. A lot of people commented about CD&ME's placement of the gift table, right near the door, being a terrible location. There was another event at there going on in the building that evening, so not sure how much security was on-sight, but they did send at least 1 or 2 security guys in black shirts over. We were very upset when we found this out, that it went on for so long and that these strangers were in our reception for so long. Additionally, it poured down rain the night of our wedding. The staff was having a tough time mopping up water that was seeping in the sides of the tent all over the floor. When it stopped, we tried to have them roll up the sides of the tent to let some fresh air in, but the coordinator kept refusing, saying more rain was on the way. This was a disappointment because we had talked about that from the beginning and our guests were complaining of heat inside the tent. One of the doors even got locked that we had propped open, maybe because of the wedding crasher incident? Overall, CD&ME was a good venue. The impression we got is that they are still working out the kinks in their wedding business since they used to be a landscaping company and weddings were not always something they did. We saw many changes in the 2 years we worked with them as their business progressed and they figured out what worked and what didn't. I'm sure they will continue to improve as time goes on!

We had our wedding in the south facility, which was absolutely beautiful! We have received so many compliments by friends and family on how unique our reception venue was. Catherine and Sandy (event coordinators) helped make our day very special. Everything ran smoothly the day of our wedding. The coordinators truly help you feel less stressed about the whole day! The venue is gorgeous...everyone loved the fire pit, waterfalls, and landscaping. The bartenders were awesome and everyone complimented on their service. We truly recommend this venue to anyone who wants an "outside" wedding!

Catherine, the event planner was with me every step of the way. The grounds of this place are breathtaking. The day of there were two coordinators taking care of the details, they didn't miss a thing! They knew what I needed before I did. From making sure I had appetizers while we took pictures to making sure my drink was refilled while I was busy talking with my guests. The bar staff was amazing! (NO lines, great selection, friendly) I really couldn't think of one thing that could have been improved upon.

This venue has 2 separate locations to choose from. A larger tented area and a somewhat smaller (max 180-200 people) building. We has our wedding reception in the building (south facility) and absolutely loved it! I received so many compliments on this venue from guests! Everyone loved the fire pit, waterfall, gazebo and general decor of the building. Pictures will be fantastic with the awesome backdrops and it was nice that half of the walls were made out of beautiful windowed garage doors that could be open or closed. Guests said they were never in line for a drink and the wedding coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly. Perfect. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey b/c of the non-negotiable top shelf open bar, but we felt it was our dream wedding venue so we splurged.

CD&ME is beyond beautiful. With it's lush gardens, completely paved outdoor areas, gazebos, rock waterfalls, enormous firepit (that burns gas so, no worries about smoky fires)and giant overhead doors that are available to open up the place is you so desire! We had our wedding reception in the barn and it was awesome! The staff is MORE than accomodating and Catherine the wedding coordinator is incredible; she will do almost anything to make your day as stress free and perfect as possible. The bar deal is the best thing- 5 hours unlimited drink for a flat fee, but I didn't mention the best part: it is ALL top shelf alcohol and bottled beers (even imports). Also, you get trained bartenders who actually can make real drinks. Want a maragrita? You've got one! Amaretto Stone Sour? Comming right up! The DJ was very good as well and is included in the flat fee price! There is a built in sound system and in-ceiling lighting already there so, the music sounds great and isn't overpowering and the ambience is phenominal! The choices of caterers was very good and we couldn't be happier with who we used! The food was incredible! We got so much for our money there and were so impressed by the experience that CD & ME provided that I would recommend that everyone has their wedding there! What an experience! It out surpassed anything that we had expected and hope that your day is as well! Best of Luck and wishes ♥
