Cedar Grove Events

The Haven was exactly what I was looking for in a venue! We decided to use The Haven because they had so many options for our ceremony location. We wanted an outdoor wedding, but Ohio weather is unpredictable, so we wanted some backup options too. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. We originally planned for the alcove with the paved path (which was great because it was accessible), but rain moved us to the covered patio which was still beautiful! We used the building to get ready in the bridal suite, and for dinner and dancing. The paved, lighted patio was perfect for our faux exit (we had planned to use it for cornhole but rain/snow had other plans). We used many items from The Haven's borrowed decor collection, which saved us time and money. The decorations were beautiful, and with some minor touches (we added white pumpkins) became just what my Pinterest vision board created in my mind! The catering company (The Feed) that The Haven connected me with was an excellent choice. The staff at The Haven managed to set up our taste testing, help arrange our menu, and helped make sure that everything with the caterer ran smoothly on our wedding day. The bar service at The Haven was also top-notch! All my guests (even the kids) enjoyed the beverage choices at the open bar. The fall mocktails were phenomenal! The staff at The Haven were knowledgeable and professional in all areas of wedding planning. The online planning tools helped organize things and keep everyone on the same page. We are so glad we chose The Haven for our wedding and highly recommend checking them out!

Cedar Grove was the perfect wedding venue! They were easy to work with and really made our day special. They have a great list of vendors who work there frequently. Definitely hire a wedding day of coordinator - you won't regret it!

We had a wonderful experience at Cedar Grove. The venue was beautiful and the staff all worked hard and went above and beyond to make our day special and our guests feel welcome. We got so many compliments on the venue. We loved their shed of decorations to borrow. It saved us so much money! The space was perfect for an outdoor wedding and reception all in one place. The vendors they recommended were wonderful too. We would highly recommend Cedar Grove to any couples!

We had our wedding at Cedar Grove (CG) in May of this year (2021) and I could not have imagined a more beautiful, fun, and stress-free wedding! We scheduled last-minute with only a few months to plan and every single team member we worked with was fantastic, starting from our initial tour of the venue and property. Abby was super helpful, available, and flexible throughout the entire planning process, and Amy was AMAZING the day of (she seriously is a rockstar)! So many people have told us we had one of the best, most fun weddings they have ever been to. Our outdoor ceremony was GORGEOUS and CG has a ton of beautiful decorations you can use (we especially loved the wooden arbor)! Between the beauty of the venue, the surrounding words, and the décor/accessories provided by CG, you really don’t need to decorate much yourself (but again, they are super flexible and open to whatever vision you may have or things you want to bring or do yourself). It took me YEARS to get going on our wedding plans after we got engaged because I’ve never really cared much about wedding planning or having a huge event, but honestly I would love to do it all over again because CG was truly outstanding and we had so much fun. I also really appreciated how transparent and helpful their website was when researching venues – they’re the only place that actually lists all of their packages, information, pricing, AND shows their availability without you having to reach out or go tour the place. With how affordable they are, you would think you’re not getting much for this venue, but TRUST ME – they are a GEM in an endless amount of over-priced, stuffy, and limited venues that mostly just want your money. As corny as it sounds, CG truly does care about making your day the best for YOU. I am so, so happy we chose CG and we would love to work with them again for another big event or rent a cabin on their property in the future. They really are the best of both worlds – for brides who want a huge, fancy, particular wedding, or for the more low-key type - literally anyone can have their perfect wedding with CG and would not be disappointed! I HIGHLY recommend CG to any and everyone!!
