Cedar Valley Forest

s important to me as we were cash flowing our whole wedding. The inclusion of over 1,500+ pieces of decor made planning my wedding SOOO much easier as I didn't have to go buying every last piece of decor (plus a million more things were included in the package I choose, a photo booth, sparkler send-off, bartenders, etc.) I was also able to cater in my own food which was a huge priority of mine as my dad is a chef. We were also able to purchase our own alcohol, again saving more money. The ability to not be confined to a vendor list was huge. Kenna (decorator) and Andrea (venue director/wedding coordinator) was pivotal in making sure the day went off without a hitch! Andrea was so kind and caring, she is truly passionate about her job, and I am so thankful to have had her as my day-of-coordinator. All my guests were just as in love with the venue as my husband and I were. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding day!

ontext and details: My husband and I got engaged in Sept 2022 and started touring venues immediately. We toured CVF in October, shortly after Jill purchased the venue and already we were blown away. Jill had only been owner for about a month before we toured and had all these plans for the venue. Ideas like painting from red to white, redoing the ceremony space, getting a new bar, new windows and adding another garage door. From that first meeting is was so clear to see Jill’s passion and love for the space and we immediately trusted her vision. And by the time we got to our wedding day she executed her vision beautifully. The space turned out better than we ever could’ve imagined and was the perfect blend of modern, nature, forest, and country vibes. It is absolutely beautiful. We then started working with Andrea. Andrea is the true definition of someone who is good at her job. For the next year every question or thought I had as an anxious bride was met with a quick, thorough, and patient answer. Andrea was there for ANYTHING big or small! we LOVED working with Andrea and couldn’t imagine our day without her. This venue allows you MANY opportunities to go onsite and design, brainstorm, organize all your ideas through open houses or meetings. This was SO nice because another huge perk was the decor CFV provided. They have THOUSANDS of pieces of decor so the on site meetings were so nice to play with different ideas. The amount of money I saved on decor is CRAZY and I wasn’t left with a bunch of items that I will never use again! The one thing i recommend to ANYONE (no matter how organized or how structured you are) is hiring a day of coordinator. I am EXTREMELY organized where I had every detail down to the minute, but I can’t even explain how nice it was to show up day of, hand my details away and not worry about a SINGLE thing. The best thing that comes with CFV is their staff. Andrea turned into our bartender and handled it all with EASE and absolutely rocked it. Our day of coordinator was Kenna and my goodness. Words can not explain how much we LOVED kenna. She is SOOO amazing to the point I had family and friends wanting to hire her for their weddings. She had the day ready for us so when we showed up it only took 20-30 minutes to decorate. She then coordinated all of our vendors on where to go and how to set up so it was the most efficient process as possible. She guided family and friends on what to do and when so no one was confused. And overall she made sure every detail was absolutely perfect. In the end I not only had the best day of my life thanks to Kenna, I also gained a friend. I can not say it enough. HIRE. THE. COORDINATOR. Our day was exactly what we dreamed of and it was all thanks to this amazing venue and staff. We toured TONS of venues and spent almost two years in the “wedding industry” and I can truly say that Cedar Valley Forest is a rare gem and you would regret not checking them out.

the barn are gorgeous! Shortly after booking with cedar valley forest, we found out how amazing the owner and the staff are. Andrea replied quickly and kindly to every email I sent her regarding wedding questions. Andrea was also our decorator for our wedding day and it was even better than I had imagined! Kenna was our day of coordinator and she was perfect for us. Not only was Kenna so easy to work with and amazing at her job, she also fit in perfectly with our group! She worked great with all of our vendors and she was just a really fun person to be around. I could truly go on and on about how amazing our experience was!

iful atmosphere, Jill and Andrea were incredible to work with. We felt their warmth immediately and loved working with them throughout the process. They were always quick and happy to answer all our questions. I have to mention how incredible our day of coordinator, Kenna, was though. Anytime I started feeling overwhelmed she was there to take care of it. She even took over babysitting duties for my 4 year old so I could have a calmer “getting ready” experience. She kept us on time and even though there were slight hiccups as there are bound to be on a big day like this, we can only think about how perfect the day was and Kenna was a big part of that.
