Center Stage Catering

Center Stage catered our wedding and they were AMAZING! Karen and her staff were all very personable, professional, accommodating, and dependable. With years of experience, Karen was able to not only deliver incredible food but also help my husband and I with our “Day Of” schedule. She had great ideas and helped us create a delicious menu. The Center Stage staff were very helpful with the set up and cleanup of the reception. Our guests raved about the food and we could not have been more pleased with Center Stage!

My inlaws used Center Stage as the catering for our rehearsal dinner. It was AMAZING! They did a variety of pizzas, with a fresh salad (wonderful dressings), and cute mason jar strawberry shortcakes. Everyone raved about the food! They were so helpful with the setup and cleanup of the event. I highly suggest their work at your event :)

It was a pleasure working with Karen and CSC from day 1! I always looked forward to my meetings and phone calls with Karen. She is so personable and is the type of person you want to stay in touch with even after the event is over. CSC is full of culinary geniuses - we received so many compliments after our wedding! The service, quality, and creativity of their food was worth every penny. Thank you for making our wedding reception so special! I hope we get the opportunity to work with Center Stage again!

On October 9, 2016 I had the privilege of taking my best friend and making her family. One thing that we did not want to mess up on such an important occasion was the food. We contacted with Center Stage Catering and Karen was willing to work with us on our menu, keep us below budget, and make our entrees inclusive for our guests with dietary restrictions. Karen allowed us to change our minds about renting plates less than two weeks before the wedding. Shanna was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed at the end of the night. The staff of CSC was courteous and professional throughout the evening. Our guests are still raving about how wonderful the food was and no one left the reception hungry. CSC also plated and packaged our wedding cake and pies for guests who were staying and those who were taking the desserts with them. CSC even sent us a handwritten card with a quote from the Maid of Honor’s toast from Doctor Who, so either they have some Whovians on board (which is excellent) or they pay great attention to detail (which is also excellent). We appreciate that CSC was there to share our day with us. We will certainly refer others to them in the future and look to them for any future catering needs.

The food is incredible, the main caterer is talented in putting together an EXTRAVAGANT menu. She is so detailed in from presentation, to seasonal products, to spices and sauces. The food at our wedding was wonderful, the guests loved it. They also catered to us (the bride and groom) and made sure we had a drink and food that we wanted the entire night. They also packed us a plate of food to have at the end of the night so we could taste it too. Not only is their food amazing, but their staff is equally professional and there to serve the guests and make sure they have a good night. A complete package!

I had the pleasure of working with Karen for my wedding 9/13/14. Anytime I had a question or concern she was quick to responding and helping me anyway she could. We went with a southern style menu and everyone loved the food and are still talking about it! They just went over and beyond with all of the food I was very impressed and the food was the best I've ever had. I wouldn't go with anyone else.

I consider myself an armchair foodie so this was the one aspect of the wedding I really wanted to be hands on. The people at Center Stage were very professional and creative when it came to their menus. It was really a challenge to combine my tastes with my wife's as we are at the opposite ends of the spectrum. However, they managed to create an excellent menu. Their staff was friendly and professional and I received compliments about the food all night long from my guests. They are willing to cooperate with you on the menu and are extremely patient. I think I had to resend their suggestions for menu items a number of time before we found the winner. They were also great in helping out with last minute stuff as well as coordinating with the other vendors to provide a fantastic experience. They are also willing to work with whatever budget you have and I would book these people again, if I ever had the opportunity to do so.

Center Stage not only did a phenomenal job and made delicious food, but they also provided the best customer service out of ALL my vendors. Karen was there every step of the way to answer any question I had, and she and her staff were so responsive and accommodating. I can't thank them enough for all their hard work, they truly made the evening.

Words can't do enough justice when it comes to John and Karen. They are amazing, patient and incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond what I expected from a caterer. Food wise- oh my gosh. Wonderful. Don't even get me started on the cake. It was so crazy good!! Their staff is helpful and so attentive. Don't even bother looking elsewhere. Go visit their cafe in Rocky Mount and see for yourself just how great they are.

John and Karen are amazing to work with. I planned my wedding from out of town and Karen was very easy to work with, answered all of my e-mails, helped with quantities, etc. They sat down with us a few months before the wedding to see what kind of foods we wanted, our style, etc and made it happen. The wedding was absolutely amazing! I can't tell you how many people complimented the food and service. Everything turned out perfectly. They had someone there to be sure my husband and I had a chance to eat, the staff always made sure we had plenty to drink. It was more than I expected! Can't say enough about the food, staff and service! Will recommend to anyone needing a caterer and will certainly use again if the occasion presents itself.

My guests are still talking about how amazing the food was at our wedding! They food looked beautiful and tasted even better. Additionally the owner John and Karen were so much fun to work with and really made the food a part of our day. The service staff was amazing as well. Anytime this bride needed anything someone was taking care of me!
