I had several guests tell me it was the best or most memorable food they'd ever had at a wedding. The staff were very professional, despite some issues with my venue that really made their job a challenge. I would hire them again in a second.

ng thing was that the staff filled plates of the bakery goods ( the bride, who was a little late in selecting her desert, watched as they filled plates and took to the kitchen. ) The same happened even before the guests could participate in the late evening snack. We think a reminder to the waitstaff is in order. While they are certainly welcome to have dinner, certainly not before the guests.

On the day of our wedding, we received so many complements on our food and some of our guests even told us it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! We really enjoyed all of the passed hors d'oeuvres and our meal. Darla and her team even put a little plate of the hors d’oeuvres passed at the cocktail hour at our king’s table for my husband and I as we were taking pictures when they were passed. I could not recommend Ces and Judy’s more for any event you need catering for. The food was delicious, and they were so fun to work with! If you need a caterer, book with them!!

They were flexible in making changes over the many months we worked with them, and they clearly communicated with us. Ces, Ruth, and Candace were amazing to work with through the planning and on our wedding day. After talking with Ruth during the weeks before our reception, I felt confident she'd have everything taken care of, and she did! Even with a broken oven at the reception venue, Ruth and her team delivered a fantastic dinner that all our guests loved! I could go on and on, but know that you'll get outstanding food delivered by a strong team of professionals. I can't recommend them more highly!

Little did I know until after the wedding, Ces and Judy’s had a power outage that weekend and pulled off catering our event without a hitch. The staff/servers were very professional and so kind.

Candace and Kara were so kind and responsive and understanding of the stress that comes with planning a wedding, and they did everything they could to help alleviate that stress. The service staff were simply amazing! Kind, helpful, attentive, generous with their time, and assisted each guest with any needs they had. I really cannot say enough about the staff. They even boxed up some of our leftovers to send with us when we left because they knew we would be hungry again after the reception. We didn't even have to ask! their menu selections all sounded so delicious that we had a hard time narrowing down our menu, and EVERYONE was talking about the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres!!! We chose the herbed beef tenderloin brochette, the mini spicy chicken taco with siracha slaw, and the mini tomato soup shooter with grilled cheese crouton. They were so flavorful and the tenderloin was cooked perfectly... we were surprised at just how good the food was. You cannot go wrong with Ces and Judy's!

e. They were wonderful in so many ways, and in particular I have to give a shout out to my point person, Kara! Kara is communicative and personable. She’s smart, quick, and detail-oriented. When I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know what to pick, she helped me make decisions that I ended up loving. Her years of experience doing this shine through from day one to post-event breakdown. Kara interfaced perfectly with our other vendors to help coordinate our event. She’s a gem. As a more general review, the food is excellent!! Big ups to their chef! We chose a buffet and the base choices were amazing, the upgrades were reasonably priced, and the things that were supposed to be spicy were spicy!!! No bland or boring wedding food here. Also, C&Js gave us great flexibility to customize our food & beverage menu. They let us keep food options from their 2020 menu that were no longer on the 2021 menu. They included custom coffee bar options for us. When they found out my dad is a beekeeper, Kara even suggested we do a custom cocktail incorporating his honey which was, first and foremost, delicious, but also just a thoughtful, above and beyond extra that made our day that much more personal and special. I wholeheartedly recommend using Ces & Judy’s as your caterer for a wedding or any event! There’s a reason they’ve been around in stl forever. Five stars all around!!!

h we live in California, it was easy to remotely coordinate with them and they were very responsive to all of our inquiries. Oh, and the food they provided was incredible too! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a catering company with fantastic, professional employees, and to anyone looking for a welcome departure from typical boring wedding menus!
