I found Michael Chadwick Photography from the recommended vendors section on The Knot, and I'm so happy I saw them! From the first day I met Michael, I knew these guys were going to be great to work with. While Michael himself wasn't available ...for my wedding, he ensured me that the other members of his staff were all talented photographers, and he was absolutely right! Bob Creamer and Catherine Davies were assigned to my wedding, and they were both wonderful! If you're unable to physically meet with them, they will call, FaceTime, or Skype with you just to get a better idea of what you're looking for. The package we chose was to have two photographers, a USB of all our photos, and a bound album (we also had an engagement session as part of the package, but my husband and I actually ended up not doing one, but that had nothing to do with M.C.P.). I was constantly informed about any updates or issues, including a minor photography policy with the church, but Michael and Bob said they would take care of it for me as I was dealing with my other vendors. About a month before the wedding, I received an email to fill out an online questionnaire of detailed pictures that we wanted, and Bob brought a printout of it with him. While we did divert from some of the shots I originally wanted, we got the most important ones. I absolutely loved working with Bob and Cat! Bob's sense of humor was right in line with my family's, and he made it a point to get to know as many of my family and wedding party members as possible. Everyone had a great time with him! Cat was assigned to my husband and the groomsmen for the getting ready photos, and my husband said she was super nice and very professional (which is high praise for dealing with all guys for over an hour!). There was one particular moment during my wedding day that I'll never forget with Bob: At one point when we were trying to get the family photos after the ceremony, he almost seemed to sense I was stressed because we were getting behind schedule and the families were dictating the types of pictures they wanted. He approached me and asked if I was okay and what I wanted to do: stick strictly to the questionnaire or go by what the families were asking. At that time, I wanted him to listen to what the families were asking because the main pictures I wanted were going to come at the venue anyway. Also, that way, I knew that no one could complain that the pictures they wanted weren't taken. Bob and Cat were also good at dealing with our guests who were taking pictures on their personal devices. They would take their own photos and then tell the "paparazzi" to come forward to take their pictures. The pictures themselves? I absolutely LOVED them! Bob and Cat captured the key moments and shots I wanted the most. I've had multiple people tell me that certain shots look like they were out of a wedding magazine or advertisement! They also got some shots that I wasn't expecting, like random shots from the food stations that were setup for my cocktail hour that my husband and I missed most of. I just can't say enough about what they did for both my husband and me! I highly recommend this group, and hope to use them in the future for other special moments in our lives. Thanks again, Michael, Bob, and Cat!
