He was not only prepared for photography, but he was also prepared for any bridal emergency such as Bobby pins, oil blots, and many other goodies in his waist pack. He worked very hard to make us comfortable and make our weekend as perfect as possible, which it certainly was. Through his tall stature and funny jokes, he was able to capture the attention of children and adults. Michael also did a great job working with our videographer throughout the weekend, quickly building a rapport within minutes of meeting. Michael’s work was very detailed and he was able to capture all of the important details from the decoration, to the food, to the cultural traditions, and to the beautiful smiles of our family and friends. As soon as we received the photos, we were in love with every single one. Photos were perfect! We have no regrets in choosing Michael and we would certainly like to use him again! ng your special day (or any other event you’re hoping to hire him for). We first met Michael two years ago, when he helped my now husband plan the perfect proposal at Grounds for Sculpture. Josh and Michael went to the location a few days beforehand to scope out the layout and on the day of, in extreme heat, he literally hid in the bushes to capture the moment. We knew that very day we wanted him to be our wedding photographer. Michael is not only extremely talented, but his compassion, knowledge and kindness, separate him from any other vendor we have ever worked with. Michael and Christopher make an incredible team and were an absolute pleasure to work with the day-of. Michael also did a great job communicating with us leading up to the wedding and on the day of literally had everything we could have ever needed (safety pins, stain stick, etc.). He even helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress. Michael truly made our wedding go as smooth as possible, and we cannot begin to thank him enough as he will forever be a part of our special day.

Through the pre-wedding photos and the photography at the event, it was clear how important it was to have a photographer who could anticipate problems, advise and take advantage of opportunities, and roll with the punches. Michael not only was able to provide suggestions for photos in Philadelphia, but also helped to direct our driver through city traffic. He was prepared and easily worked around tourists, guest personalities, and a popped tuxedo button. And I like to think that our comfort lead to authentic and beautiful photos of our wedding day. I truly cannot say enough about how great the experience was. at the Bradford and he was the first vendor we booked for our wedding at the Merion. He was very organized, communicative and fun to work with before the wedding. He asked a lot of questions beforehand and really listened to what we wanted. On the big day, he helped us feel relaxed and captured our real emotions during all the big and small moments. His photos do an amazing job of showing the joy and celebration of the occasion. It was a pleasure getting to know him and we plan to stay in touch. Michael does an amazing job of capturing all of your guests- too often I see wedding pictures where anything not including the wedding party ends up on the cutting room floor,and we were lucky enough to get pictures of everyone! He has an incredible gift of sensing where the picture is! I dropped chocolate on my dress (because of course) and he appeared with a Shout Wipe before I could even consider leaving my table to go to the bathroom. He's really just incredible.

Every time we look at our wedding pics we feel like were reliving that night again, we laugh, cry and are amazed at all we didn't miss because it was all captured in the pics. He also comes prepared, I mean over the top prepared. Anytime I needed a bobby pin I never had to walk away from my guests or find one of my girls, he had it all taken care of from the beginning to the very end of the night! Every detail and request we had was taken care of. He was amazing with our guests, we had many people come up to us and say, "Where did you find him? He's great!". the end of the wedding night, he made the entire process fun, efficient, comfortable, and easy! Countless guests made a point to come up and tell me how wonderful he was. Mid-reception, Michael's second photographer, Nicole, found one of my earrings out on the dance floor (eagle eye!), but the back was missing. As it turns out, Michael had a box that contained a huge variety of backings for me to choose from and I was back in business in 2 minutes. He came prepared, he drove a golf cart, he was even coaxed into singing a line of "That's Amore," and he made sure our day was nothing less than perfect.

On the wedding day, Michael is full service not only paying attention to your photos but every aspect of the day. His Batman-like utility belt comes equipped with anything you can thing of including bobby pins, tissues, fashion tape, earring backs, and even safety pins for when your husband steps on your dress and rips it right before the reception (yes this happened and Michael was right there to help when everyone heard the “RIIIIIIP”). The photos of the day came out perfectly and were everything we hoped for. His posed images are wonderful but his candid shots are amazingly instinctive and wonderfully chosen from a day of chaos when you don’t even remember what you were doing at that exact moment. He finds moments that catch the happiness and excitement of the day in your eyes. For a nervous photo subject, he kept me comfortable and laughing the whole day, and it shows in the images. Michael goes far beyond the call of duty for your special day from the moment you meet him. It’s impossible to be disappointed with Michael as their photographer… Thank you Michael!!!

Not only did he make it a point to take amazing photographs, but he was there for just about anything that came up during the day. For example, my grandma had trouble pinning her flower to her dress, so Michael pulled out some double sided tape from his bag and saved her day! In addition to the actual wedding day, Michael sent many check in emails in the months prior to the wedding day to see if we needed any help or advice. He didn't just take great photos for us, but he truly played an integral role in our wedding planning adventure from the very beginning. We actually wish Michael could have been one of our guests because he is so much fun to interact with :) However, his photos are amazing and we honestly can't recommend Michael enough!!

have 3 kids that are not the easiest to get to smile, and with his background in theater, Michael made sure everyone was smiling and it looked natural. Also, I didn't want a ton of posed pictures, I was more about the candid shots and boy did Michael and his partner get candid shots! So many of the dance floor and people mingling, they are awesome. My final request was that I wanted to get to my cocktail hour. We did not do a first look, so we had to get all our portraits together done right after the ceremony and with two large families that was not going to be easy. Michael was sure to keep everything running efficiently and organized. Not only did we get some beautiful shots, my husband and I made 40 minutes of our cocktail hour! But Michael was MUCH more than a photographer. He was helping my mom get some things placed around our venue. He has a fanny pack that has just about anything you could ever want in it and we was very consultative! Most importantly, he was patient. As we know things can get crazy before a wedding, especially for the bride and Michael was calm cool and collected. Every person was like I can't wait to see your pictures, your photographer was everywhere (including in the bushes to get that great shot of the ceremony) and not one person, including me, was disappointed. Michael goes above and beyond from the time you book him, to the wedding to any requests you have after the wedding is over. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

After an initial phone call, I knew this was the photographer I had to book...ask my mom, I called her saying we had to book him right away. Then when my parents and I met with him, we were sold. We came across Michael because he was one of the recommended vendors for photographers at our venue. We spoke with a few photographers before choosing Michael and felt that he was honest, friendly, relatable and more than just a photographer. Michael comes equipped with not only his camera, but a satchel filled with every possible thing you would need for your wedding day (bobbie pins for every hair color, double sided fashion tape, stuff so your shoes don't slip, etc.). The hair and make up artist on the day of the wedding were even impressed with what Michael had carried with him for the "just in case" situations! Besides capturing the most beautiful moments of our wedding, Michael also helped to take my veil out, bustle my dress, and assisted my aunt when her scarf caught on fire from a candle! He goes above and beyond just being a photographer and is without a doubt the best. We got our photos back quickly and truly enjoyed looking back on our wedding day and laughing at moments we missed throughout the night! ur consultation session, we felt like old friends, and his portfolio powerfully speaks to his artistry and creativity. Michael is truly a professional in every sense of the word. He braved a snow storm (and loved every minute of it!) in December to shoot our beautiful engagement photos that my friends and family still talk about (in addition to our wedding photos, of course!). He was also there for us every step of the way through the planning process, whether my question was directly related to photography or not. Michael is a veritable wealth of wedding knowledge, and is more than willing to offer his guidance. On the day of the wedding, he knew exactly what to say to calm everyone’s nerves (mine in particular) and he has a utility belt full of wedding essentials that would make even Batman jealous. Not to mention he always finds a way to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, ready with a joke and a smile. This was so important for my husband and I, since we are both a little camera shy. All of our wedding photos are phenomenal, but my absolute favorites are the ones where Michael captured a candid moment or the true joy we both felt that day— and there’s so many of them! I will treasure those photos for the rest of my life. Since Michael took our engagement photos in January, I’ve been telling anyone who will listen to me that they need to book him. A friend from college has already booked him for her wedding next November, and it makes me so happy to hear that her and her future husband love him already too!

h a lot of really great vendors during our wedding planning, but Michael was by far our favorite. To say he went above and beyond would be an understatement. He truly is a jack of all trades and has a MacGyver-esque set of emergency supplies to boot (which came in handy more than a few times). Michael did an outstanding job organizing the "laundry list" of shots we requested and made the experience really personal with our family and friends. He is a true professional and did an amazing job capturing the memories made on our wedding day.

The man legit did it all. I have only seen one shot online thus far, but he showed me some of his pictures on the camera, and they looked AMAZING! I have no reservations recommending him to everyone.

He always responds to e-mail very quickly and was readily available to talk through things with me or give recommendations whenever I needed it. Next, he makes you feel very comfortable and always tries to keep the mood relaxed and laid back. He makes it feel easy and fun. As far as the wedding itself, we booked Michael for 10 hours. He even came to the bridal suite a little earlier and got right to work. He (and Sheldon during his 3 hours) where EVERYWHERE we needed them to be during the cocktail hour and dinner. They seemed to be everywhere we turned capturing all of the best moments. They were very professional and their experience with weddings was evident. Lastly, one of the other little details that helped me chose Michael was that he gives a Police, Fire Department, First Responders, and Registered Nurses discount and I am an RN so that was an added bonus :)
