Krista is an absolutely amazing wedding coordinator! The reason we looked into a day of coordinator was because I had a lot of DIY decor, including my own florals and centerpieces. Krista has a down to earth personality and her pricing was very... reasonable so it was an easy decision. She had not worked at my venue before so she asked to set up an in person meeting with my venue coordinator about two months before our wedding, which really helped us figure out all the little details. Krista checked in regularly the month before our wedding, helped me organize timelines and paperwork, and was very responsive if I had any questions.
Krista went above and beyond in multiple ways the weekend of our wedding. Even though the church and our venue was an hour away from her, she traveled to the church for our rehearsal the night before to meet with our families, our bridal party, and our deacon as well as to see how our ceremony was going to go. For the day of our wedding, anytime we needed something, she was there. She really made our day stress free because she thought of all the little last minute things so I didn't have to worry about them. She kept checking in with us in the bridal suite asking if we needed anything while working with the venue behind the scenes to set up my décor. She helped my husband and all the guys with their boutonnieres and kept everyone on track. Most importantly, she made my décor vision come to life. My cocktail hour and reception were set up just how I pictured (and I only provided very general instructions) and I literally teared up when I saw how beautiful everything came out. My favorite Krista moment was in between wedding photographs and our cocktail hour. The long train of my gorgeous dress got dirty and wet during photographs outside so Krista recommended trying to dry it so my bustle wouldn't break with the extra water weight. Krista spent at least 15-20 minutes with me using Tide-to-Go wipes on my dress stains (which worked really well by the way) while I blow dried my dress with a hair dryer in my suite. My dress still looked amazing for cocktail hour and reception plus my bustle stayed up the whole night! During the reception, she discretely stayed in communication with me with little things and worked with the venue Maitre’d to make sure the night ran smoothly. At the end of the night, Krista made sure all my décor was packed up and ready for us to pick up in the morning, which was a huge help.
Our wedding was such an amazing day and Krista was an integral part of making our wedding day a success. She was extremely organized and professional with everyone – family members, my bridal party, my vendors, etc. Krista worked seamlessly with my venue coordinator and the venue with the décor and logistics and our reception space was stunning due to her hard work. She’s very responsive, always prepared, and overall made everything less stressful for us. She’s so personable and made me feel calm the whole day. She truly felt like a friend and I knew she had our backs if there was an issue. I loved working with Krista and would highly recommend her!
