Chandler's Weddings & Special Events

My husband and I could not have imagined a better place to get married than Chandler’s! We did so in July of 2023. It was nice to have an all-inclusive venue when it came to ceremony and reception space, food, drink, decor, etc. It was also a reasonable price. Vikkie, the venue coordinator, was amazing to work with and made a stressful process feel extremely manageable. She was responsive every time I had a question, very flexible with meeting times and days (I have a tricky work schedule) and overall made herself very available to help with the wedding planning process. She also made sure things ran smoothly on the day of the wedding! I had originally hired a Day-Of Coordinator from a different company but elected to discontinue working with her in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and I’m glad I did because Vikkie did everything my husband and I needed and exceeded expectations on the day of the wedding! For example, one hiccup we had the day of the wedding: we ordered the Chiavari chairs, which Chandler’s rents from an outside vendor at an additional cost to the bride and groom, if you want them. Our chairs that day were delivered pretty dirty when it came to the seat cushions. Vikkie and the Chandler’s staff did everything they could to make them more presentable, and additionally offered to compensate us for the cost of the chairs. This was just one example of how accommodating and attentive they were! Vikkie was also very communicative with our other vendors and made it so that we did not have to act as the middleman between all vendors involved! Chandler’s itself was a beautiful place to get married! The outdoor space with the gazebo was stunning and easily accommodated our 200 guests. The Augusta Ballroom was also very spacious and comfortable for a large guest count. The room itself was gorgeous! The dance floor was ample size and a good thing because guests never left the dance floor the entire night! Vikkie and the Chandler’s staff worked with my florist and made gorgeous place settings/centerpieces. On top of everything, our guests could not stop raving about the delicious food! One couple that attended our wedding actually came back to Chandler’s the following weekend to dine with them again! Thank you for making our wedding as spectacular as we could have imagined, Chandler’s!

Chandler’s was the venue for our wedding this august and it was amazing!! Vicki was so great to work with. There were a couple of things on the day of the wedding that didn’t go perfectly, but that is bound to happen. The food was amazing and people won’t stop complimenting on how amazing the venue was!

We had our wedding here on June 11th, 2022 and overall it was great! I originally had thought I wanted a venue where we could make more decisions on every little thing but I am so happy we didn't do that because it would have been stressful. This venue had the right amount of options for us that made decision making easy and allowed us to remember the most important part of our wedding was our marriage. The price is very reasonable and allowed us to spend more money in other areas. Yes, the carpeting is outdated, but like everyone told me, I didn't notice it once during the wedding because I was having such a great time. The staff is a little chaotic sometimes but they got everything done. We had lots of compliments on the food and how beautiful the indoor ceremony was. People also really enjoyed being able to go outside on the patio. I'm so happy we chose this venue.

We held our wedding at Chandlers in November 2021 and absolutely loved it! Migdalia was our wedding planner and she made sure every detail was perfect. I called, a lot, and she never made me feel like I was bugging her and always listened to my concerns. We were so thankful to have her help us along the way. The food was also delicious and our guests are still talking about it. We did family style so everyone could try a little of everything and it worked out really well. I can't recommend Chandler's enough!

I have never once went online to write a bad review, but to save anyone the headache of this venue I am. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because it is a beautiful venue for a reasonable price. The food is also very good. That being said, I didn't understand the importance of the wedding coordinator until having the pleasure of working with Migdalia. She is very difficult to work with and quite unprofessional. If you want to work with someone who answers emails and gets you the information necessary to plan your wedding, this is not the place to go. I have lost count of how many emails I sent that were never responded to. I asked for months to get a copy of our event order and did not receive it until a month before our wedding, at which point it was a little late if changes needed to be made. I wish I could upload a photo of what our head table looked like. The tablecloth was pulled out of the bag it was in, and had large square wrinkles where it had been folded. Numerous guests mentioned the eyesore in all of my first dance and cake cutting photos, I truly don't know how anyone could have set that up thinking it was acceptable. I ordered colored napkins for the tables, and they were the wrong color on the day of the wedding. One of my guests was missing a chair and ended up sitting at a table without his wife. When I reached out to Migdalia about all of this after the wedding, again my emails were left with no response. It wasn't until I hounded her that I finally got a refund for the table clothes that I paid for. Icing on the cake, when the check came in the mail, the card was not from Migdalia but her assistant. Every venue photo was ruined with a table cloth that looked like I pulled it out of a mattress bag, and the gesture to make this right was a $25 gift card... and an apology from someone we have never worked with.

Wow! Chandler’s is just absolutely stunning and the Augusta Ballroom is and feels like a huge space due to the high vaulted ceilings and large windows that look out to a beautiful fountain! They also have an outdoor area for wedding guests to relax which was perfect for our Sept. 2021 wedding! The outdoor area lights up at night, includes a gazebo, and has outdoor seating! It’s definitely a breath of fresh air compared to the other traditional banquet halls. They also provide a ton of food which is perfect if you come from an Italian family like myself! I received so many great compliments about the food, especially the sirloin of beef and the cake (which is included in your package). The entire hall is clean, they have numerous bathroom stalls for guests, and even a separate bridal room with a huge bathroom just for the bride (nice perk)! Migdalia was amazing to us and helped us throughout the entire process. We made some last minute changes and she was attentive and flexible with our needs. She works hard to ensure you and your guests have the best time ever and we definitely agree that she did just that! We highly, highly, highly recommend Chandler’s for any of your banquet event needs!

Chandlers is a very beautiful venue however I was extremely disappointed in all of the staff. Needless to say, Migdalia and the rest of the crew really upset me over and over again on what was supposed to be the best day of my life. I was promised many things that were not given to me, Migdalia “lost” the print-out of the table setup and had the nerve to ask every person in my bridal party if they could figure out how to set it up rather than going up to her office to re-print the email (which she printed right in front of us 2 days earlier), she tried to change up the ceremony an hour beforehand telling my mom that she didn’t think I should walk down the aisle and instead should walk around (we then had to personally move the chairs ourselves to create an aisle), we paid for the included premium liquor and the bartenders refused to give out half the liquor that was promised on the contract, they cleaned up the centerpieces and other decorations 2 hours early, they took our guests’ party favors off their tables, and so much more. I could go on forever. Very disappointed in the service we received the day of the wedding and it is really unfortunate that I have this to look back on when I think of my special day.

Disclaimer: My husband and I planned our wedding all throughout the Pandemic (May 2020-April 2021). Chandler's was the best decision we could have made for the venue on our day. We knew however big or small it was able to be, this was the place. First, the space is top of the line exquisite. We wanted an elegant, classic, fancy feel for our wedding day and Chandler's Ballroom was everything we could have imagined and more. The high ceilings and exposed white brick gave it that "juj" we envisioned! All of our guests RAVED about how GOOD the food was and how great the service was, as well! From the first moment we stepped foot in Chandler's and met Migdalia we felt like we were working with family. Even though I know this woman had to be balancing a million other events on-top of rescheduling all the ones that were cancelled due to COVID, Migdalia treated us like we were the most important wedding she was planning. She was in constant communication with me throughout our planning process, laid out a very comprehensive timelines for detail meetings, food tasting, cake tasting, vendor partners they've worked with, etc. She was always easy to get a hold of, replied to emails promptly, and if she didn't have the answer to something, she went to get it and got back to us in a very timely manner. This place runs like a WELL oiled machine. Everything about their customer service is friendly, accommodating and exceeds expectations. I can't be more grateful to Migdalia and her team. They took care of everything! From tables/linens/chairs/cocktail hour/late night snack/drinks, you name it! The most impressive piece to me was when I dropped off all reception decorations to Migdalia the Wednesday before the wedding. They took care of setting everything up. At that point I felt like I could breathe and enjoy the next couple days with friends and family before the big day. Again, customer service is top notch. She made us feel so important which is exactly how every bride and groom deserves to feel as they plan their special celebration and most importantly, on their wedding day!!

Chandler's was amazing! We planned through COVID and could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. The room was beautiful & the service was spectacular. Migdalia was great to work with- she made sure everything we asked for happened! Everything flowed just as planned by our wedding planner. Highly recommend Chandler's!

We had the best wedding at Chandler's! Our guests were raving about the food and we heard so many compliments about the venue space. We used America's Best DJs (same parent company as Chandler's) and people were dancing all night long! We had around 175 guests which fit comfortably in the Augusta Ballroom (we rented out the entire wing). The outdoor patio is really pretty, but our guests still fit comfortably inside since we had a colder fall day. We also had our ceremony at Chandler's and it looked really nice! Note, for indoor ceremonies the pre-set dinner tables are in the room (on the sides) for the ceremony since they need to flip the room quickly during cocktail hour. We did most of our planning with Gineane before she left Chandler's, but Migdalia picked it up right where we left off. Migdalia, Jose, and their team were great the day of and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed working with Chandler's!

We have nothing but good things to say about Chandler’s! From the start they were always so helpful. The coordinator gave us everything we needed to make sure we didn’t fall behind in the planning. Unfortunately the original coordinator left (which we were sad to see her go because she was amazing) but someone else stepped in immediately and she was just as great (if not better)!! They made our day So special and run smoothly!!!!!!

I had high hopes for Chandlers, but was extremely disappointed. On the day of my sister’s bridal shower they had another large event going on and no one from the event staff was on hand to help us. We made multiple trips up the stairs with heavy boxes before we were able to locate a cart and elevator. Furthermore, because of the number of events that they had booked that day, there was insufficient parking for our guests. Several guests reported driving around in circles looking for parking and one ended up parking across the street and had to cross Roselle Road with her heavy package. Once our guests got into the building they had difficulty finding the room as it was listed in tiny print on a TV screen and no one from Chandlers was on hand to direct people to the appropriate event spaces, so I missed the first 20 minutes of my sister’s shower because I was in the lobby helping guests find their way around. Our food was pretty good, but it came out 25 minutes late. However, the absolute worst part about Chandlers is the way they conduct business. They lure you in with a relatively inexpensive plate cost, then they charge you an 18% “event fee”, for event setup and “administration” costs. However, none of that 18% goes to the service staff that does the actual setup, which is only made clear if you read all the fine print (I clearly should have done a better job of that). They say you don’t have to tip the wait staff because they are “well compensated”, but really, who doesn’t tip the wait staff? So in the end I ended up paying close to 35% in “fees” and tips even though no one from the event staff bothered to show up for my event. When I complained to management about paying an 18% event fee for an absent event staff in addition to my tip, they gave me a half-hearted apology and offered to refund my tip money (i.e. take away the money from the hard-working waitress). No wonder they have a “D-“ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I guess I should have done my homework before I booked, but I wanted to write this review so others don’t make the same mistake I did.

Gineane at Chandlers will make sure your event runs smoothly from start to finish. She is super responsive to emails and phone calls, answer any and all questions you may have. She allowed us to have the wedding we have always dreamed of!

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding at Chandler’s! Gineane was our coordinator and helped us from the very beginning; from working with us and our budget, helping us feel at ease after each meeting, and guiding us and the bridal party- she was so kind and sincere in creating the wedding of our dreams! The ceremony and reception turned out beautiful, the food was delicious, and we had a blast. Thank you Gineane and Chandler’s Staff!

Chandler's grand ballroom was a beautiful choice for our daughter's wedding. The entire staff went over and above to ensure that all our needs were met. They were friendly and professional. The food was great and the number of courses exceeded any other venue in the area making this a great value. Banquet captain, Jose, and Gineane, Sr. Dir of Catering, ensured that the entire event went smoothly as as expected. No detail was overlooked. Choose Chandler's!

Chandlers provided us the most perfect wedding, from start to finish. We had our ceremony and reception at Chandlers and I cannot say enough good things about this venue. Chandlers provided the most beautiful outdoor ceremony, where they assured us there would be flowers in May. There were beautiful flowers outside on our wedding day. The reception was everything we imagined it to be. It was big enough and had a really inviting dance floor. The layout of this venue really encouraged our guest to get up dance! The staff at Chandlers are INCREDIBLE. We couldn't have done this without all of Gineanes help and guidance. You will be working with the most caring, creative person who makes your dream come true. The service provided was outstanding. They were so incredibly accommodating and really made you feel like anything you wanted was possible. The communication was outstanding. They really make you feel at ease the day of wedding. I will honestly admit there wasn't a thing I was worried about on our wedding day because I trusted Gineane and her team at Chandlers that they will do everything to make sure this day was perfect. And they did. Her and her team make you feel like you and your fiance are the most important people. They really do a good job reminding you that your wedding day is about you and to not worry because they have everything in control. We had 200 guest at our wedding and they were complimenting Chandlers so much. Our guest still talk about how good the food was here and would say "that was the best wedding food I ever had". They compliment the timely and kind service and how organized everything was. They truly did an amazing job taking care of our guest. I highly recommend this venue.

Gineane, Thank you for putting together such a spectacular wedding ceremony and reception for my daughter Julie. The food, service, and venue were "perfect." Everyone had such a wonderful time. We have received so many compliments about how beautiful and fun the wedding was that evening. Many guests said it was the best wedding ever. I was amazed to see so many guests dancing until the end. I never have been at a wedding where guests stayed on the dance floor the entire time. The manager that evening was wonderful. He ensured that everything ran smoothly and was always nearby to see if we needed anything. He and his staff worked quickly to pack everything up and take things to our car. The staff made it so easy for us, after a late evening. Most importantly, you did such a tremendous job at answering all of our questions so quickly and providing all of the details before the wedding began. I loved how "on task" you were with everything. You were the absolute "best." We are so grateful that you were our wedding coordinator. Thank you ever so much!

Chandler’s was an excellent wedding venue for both our ceremony and reception. We comfortably had approximately 300 guests in the first floor ballroom. Our wedding was Labor Day weekend and the flowers and landscaping on the patio, where the ceremony was held, were absolutely gorgeous! Management and staff at Chandler’s could not have been more accommodating. We look forward to holding future events at Chandler’s.

Gineane and the entire Chandler's crew were incredible. They were so accommodating, helpful, and professional. Our wedding would not have gone as well as it had without their experience and dedication to weddings. The venue is a beautiful space that any couple can truly personalize and we are still getting rave reviews on our menu weeks later!!

Chandler's was an amazing venue for our 200 people wedding. Gineane worked with everyone involved to make sure it was a phenomenal experience. The tall ceiling and up lighting made the room gorgeous. I could not have asked for better service. The food was top notch and my glass was never empty ; ). The outdoor area with the fountain and gazebo allowed for amazing pictures.

My husband and I worked with Gineane. I could go on an on about Gineane. She and her team were fabulous to work with. Gineane was with us every step of the way throughout our wedding planning process. She would offer suggestions when we were stuck with different parts of wedding planning. As for the food, We received so many compliments on how great our food was people asked if they could take food home. The ambiance of the room with 216 guests was truly a night to remember

We could not have been happier with our decision to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Chandler's. We worked with Gineane, who was absolutely wonderful and made sure everything was perfect for us on our wedding day. Our ceremony was outside, and it was breathtakingly beautiful and unique. As for our reception, it was beyond what we could've ever imagined. Gineane and her team decorated the room in a way that was perfect for the look my husband and I were going for (rustic elegance). One of our favorite moments was when they took us into the room immediately following the ceremony so we could see all the decorations and the overall set up before anyone else. When it came to the food, as well as the service, both were spectacular. All of our wedding guests continue to rave about it every time we see them. We had an incredible experience and highly recommend this venue to anyone in search of the perfect wedding location.

Gineane was amazing! Such a great coordinator, so organized and professional...she made my experience so much better as I trusted her with everything! I would choose chandlers over and over again! Fantastic service, great food, awesome ambiance. It was everything I wanted, and I’m so particular! Great job chandlers!

Everything you could ask for and more! Gineane and her staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. We had the greatest time at our wedding and didn’t have to worry about a thing!

Chandler’s was the best!!! Our wedding was beyond perfect! We are still getting so many compliments from our family and friends. We had a Friday night wedding with an outdoor ceremony and their patio is beautiful and has an outdoor water fountain. Gineane was awesome and never once did I feel rushed, unsure of what I needed to do next and she was there for our rehearsal and even there the day of our wedding! The staff was also great. We had our own captain and Jose the manager personally checked on us several times. The Food was so good and just like we remembered at our tasting. We thank Chandler’s and Gineane from the bottom of our hearts for our dream wedding!

We had both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at Chandler's and we could not have been more pleased and thrilled with the results. Bob went above and beyond our scope of requests and my vision for the rehearsal dinner was truly realized depicting a "vineyard" setting. The expression on the groom and bride's face when they walked into the upstairs ballroom was exactly what I had hoped and dreamed of. Needless to say which is how I felt when I walked into the wedding ballroom amidst the aura of beauty and elegance. The food was extraordinary and the waitstaff are to be commended. I applaud Bob Whitehead for his attention to detail and his compassionate, vested interest in our events. Accolades from our guests were abundant and are ongoing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I have called several wedding venues, besides Chandler's. My husband and I chose Chandler's because the staff was the best to work with. Gineane (event coordinator), in particular, was very reliable, responsive, attentive, and experienced! We looked at a wide variety of options -- from cheap to the expensive ones. Chandler's was the most reasonably priced venue without any compromise in quality. We have communicated and connected with other venues, but we never felt the security and trust that we felt with Chandler's right from the start. Gineane was on top of everything. She knew all the details, and that made me feel so comfortable and less stressed. Every time we looked at our potential great venues, we always looked back on Chandler's, and said to each other that "maybe it'd be as good as Chandler's, but Gineane is still missing in the equation". On the week of the wedding, Gineane was very understanding and was always willing to work with me, as I had not completed and brought all of the stuff that I needed to give her on our last meeting prior to the wedding. She made everything possible in the most convenient way. She made sure to see us even minutes before the reception started, just to make sure that everything was fine, as I was going to make a slight change in the seating arrangement. She even helped me with my dress. I received a lot of compliments from families and friends that it was the best wedding they have attended. The food was great, the place was spectacular, the table arrangements and decorations were excellent. The servers were very attentive. The event manager assigned to us that night was awesome. He stayed till everyone left. He made sure that we did not forget anything important. Chandler's was the best decision I've ever made regarding the wedding, besides getting married in a church. We also used most of their recommended vendors, and they also turned out to be the best!

100% AMAZING! Everything was perfect about the day! I had my best friend's wedding shower in the Pebble Beach room. Gineane was excellent, helping us each step of planning and setting up. The room looked fantastic. Gineane took the time to make sure everything from lighting, to food, to center pieces looked amazing. To quote the groom, "This chicken is the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life." Our Event Captain was on top of everything. There were no dirty plates in site and the buffet was never empty. I've never had an event as perfect as this one. HIGHLY recommended!!

AWWWEESOME!!! Gineane at Chandler's made us feel so loved and welcome. She loved our idea for a WWE Themed Wedding. YES! YES! YES! :) The food was GLORIOUS! Our guest loved everything about the brunch wedding that had some of the most amazing bacon, waffles and hashbrowns. Our guest keep telling us it was the most amazing and fun wedding they have been too in a long time and we can't thank Chandler's & Gineane enough for helping us pull it off. THANK YOU!!!

From the first 5 minutes of our tour of the venue, I could tell this was not the place for us. Nothing wrong with the venue itself, but the customer service was AWFUL. We had a tour set with Gineane and she was absolutely rude and condescending. Every question I asked was met with a attitude and she would reiterate how long she has been in the business, which supplied no answer to the questions at hand. A few of her comments even felt prejudicial. We tried to power through the tour and be respectful of her time (one of us had to be respectful) but it was a big waste of time. The longer the tour went on, we truly began to feel as if she intentionally treated us this way because she didn't want our business. Gineane is the SOLE reason we decided to book elsewhere. Luckily for us, her distasteful behavior led us to a find a beautiful venue with great people to work with.

Where to start- the venue was gorgeous. The food was amazing everyone said it was so good. The cake from The Baking Institute was so good. It was amazing that everyone asked where it’s from. Denise from Chandlers was really helpful. The appetizers passed around were delicious. I have all great things to say!

Denise (our coordinator) was wonderful - she was very flexible. We were minutes away from starting the dinner service for our wedding when the mom of one of our baby cousins told us and Denise that her son was allergic to eggs. The kitchen was able to accommodate him, no problem. The staff at the event were very kind and everyone loved the food.

Our wedding was absolutely wonderful at Chandlers. Staff was available, attentive, and efficient in every aspect. Denise worked with us up until the last minute to make sure that everything looked exactly the way that we wanted. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and the great food.

Chandler’s was absolutely fantastic. Gineane went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. She answered all of our random questions, and was such a joy to work with. All of the food was delicious, and the decor was so gorgeous. I’m so glad we chose Chandler’s!

Loved the venue and how beautiful they made it for our day. Gineane was helpful from start to finish. We received many great compliments on the food. The only disappointment was the speed of service during dinner, they must have had something going on in the kitchen that night, our entree didn’t hit the tables until around 9pm. Be aware anything you bring in, they will want you to take home that night after your wedding... not generally a big deal unless you had large items like we did and no car.

Chandler's surpassed all of the expectations I had for my wedding. The food was delicious, the hall was beautifully set up, and everyone who was working that night was very helpful and kind.

Chandlers was amazing! Gineane is the best! I was so happy with the set up for our ceremony and reception! It was completely beautiful. Better than I could ever imagine! And the food was absolutely delicious!

Chandler's went above and beyond to meet my expectations and make our wedding day perfect! The venue was beautiful, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the food prepared by Chef Rob was incredibly good! They offered a multitude of packages, price points, decor, food, and beverage options. Gineane and Denise coordinated all the details for me and all we had to do was show up and have a magnificent time! They recommended additional vendors to me and they were all incredible as well. We had our ceremony outside and our reception was indoor/outdoor and could not have been any more perfect. Thank you to Gineane and Denise and the entire staff at Chandler's for making our day perfect!!

Our wedding reception at Chandler's was great. Our party was exactly as we had planned in our meetings with our coordinator. Gineane was fabulous! She is a pro and made us so comfortable. She guided us in our planning process and made our party wonderful! We had great food, friendly and speedy service and a stunning room that was decorated just as we had hoped. The venue was absolutely fabulous and we couldn't have hoped for better. We would recommend Chandler's to anyone planning a party. They know how to do it!

9/15/2017 Wedding day went sooo much better than I thought it would. Dealt with Gineane, who in all honesty, is the main reason we chose to have our wedding at Chandlers, Schaumburg golf course. Just talking to Gineane for 2 min I felt like she was a family friend. The bonus was the view that came with chandlers and the gorgeous gazebo to get married under, if not done in a church. Of course nothing can ever go perfect and there are always hiccups but honestly I didn't even worry about it because of Gineane. Didn't even no anything happened or went wrong until after the wedding and by then it didn't even matter cause it was over and done with and no one even noticed. The room was set up beautifully and just more than i could have imagined. You don't really notice anything when you are the bride and groom because so much is going on, but being shown pictures of my room and how it was decorated, at 1st I was thinking wow that room is so pretty thats what we should have done not realizing it was actually MY room. We also got the best surprise of our life because originally we had booked the upstairs pebble room, smaller in size but i was only having about 150 people coming so the room size was perfect. About 2 months before the wedding when you are just completely drained and in panic mode we went to one of our last final appointments. Right before our appointment ended Gineane told us she had a little surprise for us. There was an event that had booked one of the smaller size downstairs rooms but the party was growing in size and she asked if we wouldnt mind moving our wedding party downstairs to the Augusta Grand Ballroom no additional charge. Originally that was the room I really wanted but with the amount of people I was having there was no point in spending the extra $. It was just amazing that they offered that room to us. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the chandlers mixed grill which was grilled chicken and a sirloin steak with garlic mashed potatoes and garlic broccoli. Came with soup fresh rolls and salad. SOOOO many people complimented me on the food and how they have been to many many weddings and this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The cake was included in the package and seriously WOW. ordered it from the baking institute and not even Gineane could believe that he cake i had was actually included. Not only was it absolutely gorgeous it was delicious as well. Before Gineane saw The cake she asked if we had a cake topper and I told her no. She did not look to thrilled that I said no topper because really that pulls the cake together. After she saw the cake she then came up to me and said she understands why I'd didnt want a topper. The amount of detail on the cake would have been washed out if there was a topper. The bartenders were great and took such good care of my bridal party. Like really good care of them. The DJ we got is the one recommended by chandlers and just gets added to your bill. Had Marty as my DJ from America's Best DJ and their company name did not let us down. By far best DJ i have ever seen. Also got their photobooth as well which was amazing. So many props came with it and really had the best clarity when printing out the pictures. DJs either make or break a wedding. At all times there were crowds of ppl on the dance floor. Not once was the dance floor ever left with less than 40 people on it. Just perfect. Everything

It sounds so cliche, but I really really can't say enough good things about Chandler's! Working with Gineane and staff, I truly got the dream wedding I always wanted! Gineane made it both fun and easy during the planning process leading up to the big day. She always reminded us to take pictures of things like the cake and dinner tasting and make memories of it versus making it another task to check off our to-do list. Gineane also was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about any questions we had about planning and gave great recommendations if it wasn't something Chandler's wasn't able to provide. She was also a great unbiased voice when we disagreed on certain things. Above the staff being excellent, everything on our wedding day was perfect! The atmosphere and scenery were great both indoors and outdoor, the food and drink were excellent as well! The whole ambiance of our wedding was so romantic and it was all thanks to Chandler's great job setting up the decorating. The staff was also extremely friendly during the whole day. I would definitely recommend Chandler's for any friend's or family's upcoming wedding. Beautiful and the best of 2017!

We had a Friday wedding in June. My husband and I live out of state but my family is from the area so that's how we ended up choosing Chandler's. The reviews online said they were very helpful and I would have to agree. Gineane was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic throughout the process. Anything we needed or any questions we had, she answered in a timely fashion. The overall experience was great. The food was great and the staff was always asking us if we needed anything and made sure our wedding went smoothly. We also had our rehearsal there and we would recommend Chandler's for any event.

A challenging feat to embark on, but Gineane is the best. Fun hidden fact, not only do you get the space and amazing food, you get Gineane. She is a wedding planning Goddess! She makes sure that every aspect of the wedding will be perfect for every single individual and covers the bases you didn't know needed to be covered. Because of Chicago weather, we chose to do an indoor wedding, and had nothing but amazing reviews. We had our ceremony and reception in the main ballroom (rooms A and B) and around 150 guests. We somehow still were adding on items to meet are already low food and beverage minimum. So we were able to make sure our guests had a great time before, during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception and beyond! The room has built in lighting and there is additional lighting that you can add on to truly make your room look magnificent and change the ambience from ceremony to reception. Chandler's is also on a golf course which work out amazingly for the Bride and Groom to sneak away for some post-ceremony photos on the golf course! They are also centrally located within a mile of hotels. We had our block at the Wingate which provided a free shuttle to and from Chandler's, and right next door (literally feet away) is a Country Inn. The ladies prepped there (where there is a stunning stairwell for first look pictures and patio also great for first look) and the guys got ready at the Wingate (so the bride wouldn't be seen by any guests naturally). There are great photo locations in the area. They partner with America's Best DJ and Marty is amazing. My wife and I worked with Gineane well in advance before our big day. Although our schedule is very complicated (we often travel overseas for work), Chandler's was definitely not. Gineane made sure we had a schedule of consultations, tastings, and details that we were able to commit. I can't express enough how good the people at Chandler's are. The day of the wedding Gineane was present and helped manage our day. During the event Gineane had two floor managers present and they worked with me flawlessly to ensure my guests had a great time. Marty, the DJ did a terrific job handling all the requests and setting the mood for the evening. These guys are very well experienced and they all work together flawlessly! The best part is, Chandler's was the "One stop shop" providing Food & Beverage, Entertainment, and Services! Saves you that guessing game if a vendor can deliver, have no fear Chandler's is here.

We held our wedding and reception at this venue while working with Gineane. My wife and I are somewhat unorganized people so having Gineane on board with us was a life saver. She not only helped us with things related to the venue, but kept us on track with all wedding related tasks. She had great communication and was very pleasant. The wedding went perfectly, the food, the bar, and the decorations were great. The first thing I said when I woke up was, "can we do that again." It was the best day of my life and I would do it all over again the exact same way. We did have the smaller venue of the two they offer upstairs, which was cool because we had the whole floor to ourselves. The other venue is so far to the other side of the building, you never even notice another wedding is going on. That venue is beautiful as well with great picture spots. We also had our wedding in February so I can't imagine how much better and more beautiful it would be during the summer using the golf course. Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone else who wants to have an awesome wedding at an affordable price. Thanks again Gineane!

I had my wedding here September 2016. We worked with Gineane and she was wonderful. She was so helpful and always responded back to me promptly. We had an outdoor ceremony and our reception was upstairs in the pebble beach room. I was a little annoyed at the fact we could not take pictures on the golf course unless you pay a $500 fee (you get $250 back) and only the bride and groom can go, we didn't even bother with that. Our ceremony was beautiful and the weather was amazing. I didn't care for the fact we had to walk next to our guests versus down a middle aisle. The pebble beach room was also beautiful a little tight but it was fine. The food was good but not as good as our tasting (filet and chicken), but I'd have to say better than most wedding food. Also at the end of the night you had to take all your belonging with you, not come back the next day... Mind you we didn't have a car and we were staying at a hotel, luckily we had a family member take everything that night. Overall it was a good experience, fairly priced and I would highly recommend chandlers for a wedding. Even with a few hiccups, no wedding will be perfect... but I think mine was damn near close.

Everything was awesome! Gineane helped us every step of the way to make sure we got everything we envisioned. The food was fabulous!

This venue is absolutely amazing! In the short amount of time we had to plan a wedding, they made everything so easy! The food was absolutely delicious! From the Mashed potato bar all the way to the late night snacks, nothing disappointed. The outside ando inside is beautiful as well. I would highly recommend having any function here! We recently had our wedding at Chandler's Chophouse. It was AMAZING. What a WONDERFUL experience. The staff was overly accomodating! We worked with Kathy Romano, and she did everything perfectly. The rooms were beautiful, tables were flawless and food was amazing! I highly recommend having your wedding at Chandler's. The view of the golf course is breathtaking. This is one venue you will NOT have to worry about! Would use them all over again!

Words can't even describe how awesome our reception turned out thanks to Gineane and all the staff at Chandler's. We wanted to do unique out of the box ideas and everytime we would contact Gineane with them she not only ran with the idea but helped inspire us. Even now a month later our guests are still commenting on how wonderful the night was. Every bite of food was delicious! No one went home hungry that is for sure! When we had our tasting we brought a few people with and they were raving for months about how awesome the food was and they couldn’t wait for the reception. Gineane is so detail oriented and was always quick to respond to every email. At no time did we ever feel pressured to do anything or spend more then we wanted. Gineane was right by our side to help us with every detail (even to make sure that my bridesmaids were able to bustle my dress correctly). It was wonderful to know that we never had any worries when it came to the reception, it could’t have been better anywhere else!

Kathy did the most amazing job planning our wedding! She has fantastic ideas and all you have to do is show up and she does all the work. From the bartenders to the servers everyone did an outstanding job! Kathy coordinated taking pictures on the golf course and the whole night ran smoothly. Beautiful wedding venue!

Chandler's did an absolute fabulous job with our wedding and reception. I highly recommend Chandler's for any sort of event! Gineane Ryland is amazing and exceeded our expectations. She was wonderful to work with and really made our day so special.

Chandlers was so amazing to work with. Kathy is wonderful and is very good at what she does. The room was beautiful and they did a great job at setting everything up even though we had a lot of things to be set up in the room. We had done our own center pieces that involved candles, lights, water, etc and they set them up for us and did it perfectly! The staff was wonderful too and our food was delicious. Almost every guest said their dinner was so wonderful. We couldn't have asked for more!

From the moment we dropped by unannounced to see this venue we were treated like their best customers. We met with Gineane, who I think was about to go on a lunch break at the time, but instead she spent an hour showing us all the options if we went with Chandler's for our wedding, and after checking dates and packages we basically signed right then and there. And this was only the second place we visited. Over the next 8-9 months we worked with Gineane in person and via email on more details than we knew existed when planning a wedding, and that's why she was the best! She is so attentive, such fun to work with, and didn't give us a single thing to question; we knew she and Chandler's would make all our wedding dreams come to fruition.

We got married here on 7.17.15 and it was AMAZING! The staff was extremely flexible and east to work with! They were so accommodating with changing the location of our ceremony from outdoors to upstairs due to bad weather. The food was excellent, the room was beautiful, and the bar was fantastic!!! THANK YOU for providing us with the perfect wedding venue!

Thank you so much to chandlers for making my wedding as stress free as possible! They took care of everything and made the day absolutely PERFECT!!!! The tiniest of details were taken care of beautifully. Not only was the venue wonderful and beautiful, but the food is AMAZING!!!! Every single guest loved their meal including us. But it wasn't just the taste it was the fantastic price! I think we can all agree paying 200$ a plate for family you don't know that well is ridiculous. And they made it a much more affordable affair, without sacrificing any of the quality!!! Thank you Chandlers and especially Kathy, for all your hard work and careful planning!

We fell in love with Chandler's at first sight - the venue is beautiful with the large ballroom and vaulted ceilings and big windows overlooking the golf course. The value is also very reasonable and includes a lot for the price, and the food is wonderful. HOWEVER, the service was terrible and UNACCEPTABLE. Chandler's screw up over 6 things written in our contract. The patio was not ready for our guests for cocktail hour due to another wedding, and it caused the schedule to get pushed back and our guests did not receive dinner until 9 pm. There was an entire list of things that went wrong. Nobody was in charge the night of the wedding and it stressed us out. They did not set out our candy buffet, they lost our glass cylinder centerpieces after the wedding. The list goes on and on. We were very dissatisfied. When I sent a letter with all the issues that they didn't fulfill in the contract, they said they would get back to me and never did. I'm still following up 3 weeks later to understand why it was so disorganized after we went over everything and I provided a very organized detailed list that they ASSURED me would be done. I cannot recommend Chandler's to any bride. There is no wedding coordinator the night of the wedding. The Coordinator you work with throughout the process is not present the night of the wedding which causes chaos and disorganization for the guests and bride/groom. They took away my mom's plate while she was visiting tables, they forgot to play our video montage which we paid $250 extra for, they gave my glass centerpieces to my florist after the wedding and they were 'lost', they were not equipped to serve 230 guests and everyone at at 9/9:30 pm.

Between the beautiful venue, the delicious food, the excellent service before and during our wedding, Chandler's made our wedding a night to remember! The food was absolutely amazing! Our guests are still talking about it! If we could live it over again, we wouldn't change a thing! Thank you Chandler's!

My experience with Chandler's was a mixed bag. We worked with Kathy and at times she was hard to get a hold of but would always get back to us. We were so excited to book this venue because the ballroom is breath taking and the cost was very reasonable! The pain points started as we got closer to the wedding. We had our tasting two months before the wedding and we brought both our moms (4 people). We were given two entree choices (with sides) and we had to split the two entrees between the 4 of us (not really what I was expecting). Also, the tasting was not private (several other couples were there too) and we were not able to have any questions about the menu answered. When we did ask a question or make a comment, we were told "that will be ironed out in your final contract". Two days before the wedding I went to Chandlers to drop off all my items for the reception. We were supposed to be able to have cocktail hour on their beautiful patio that is connected to the ballroom and overlooks the golf course. I made mention of the cocktail hour and Kathy said oh there is a wedding going on out there at 5:30 (our cocktail hour started at 6) but they will have it all cleaned up before. Needless to say while the wedding was over by 6 the space was not cleared and our cocktail hour had to be held in our reception space. There were also positives about the reception. everyone raved about the food, the chocolate fountain and commented on how beautiful the venue was. The room was warm when dancing started but the waitstaff was very responsive when we asked them to turn up the air conditioning. Overall, I would cautiously recommend Chandlers to other brides. The price is wonderful if you are looking for a beautiful venue with great food but it does come with pitfalls. If you are high maintenance, stressed about every detail,or want to be treated like royalty, this may not be the right venue. The staff has a more laid back approach and made it more of a self-service experience rather than feeling like we were being catered to.

The banquet hall is beautifully remodeled and the whole room looks great with everything set up. The cocktail area is big and beautiful, but the brides room is a little far from the hall. The food was delicious and everyone is still raving about the filet minion and the pasta! We had an amazing evening, but there were a couple problems. We were promised use of the back terrace, and the doors remained locked the whole night so no one could go out there. After the wedding, our contact at Chandler's said that she had told us we wouldn't be able to use it because of construction, she did not. Another problem, which was a big one, so I'm happy I didn't know about it until after, was that the air conditioning in the hall was out. My day-of coordinator, amazing idea by the way, got the the hall an hour before everyone else did, and it was 85 degrees inside. It did not get fixed until 8:30, thank God, right before dancing. Again, our contact told us it was fixed at 6:30, but that was false. Overall, I would suggest Chandler's because the room is beautiful and the food is top notch!

The grand ballroom at Chandler's is absolutely gorgeous. Nice tall ceilings, windows, a patio, and a large enough room to fit 300 people. Nice big dance floor, and very cool uplighting all included! The prices of the wedding package are very very reasonable compared to other venues in the suburbs and was thousands less than the other large venues we looked at. But, the service with the coordinators could be a little better as sometimes they were hard to get to hold of to answer questions when you needed. The communication could definitely have been better. But in the end, they put on a great event and everything ran very smoothly. And the food there is delicious! Would definitely recommend!

I was very impressed with not only the place itself but the level of service we received. They really take care of the guests and the service was great. The food was excellent. The bartenders were great. One of the better wedding venues I've seen. Lots of places both inside and out for photo ops. A couple of items were missed placed and we had to put them in the correct spots. Other than that I have no complaints

Over the last 6 years three children from the same family have gotten married at Chandlers Chophouse. Two different rooms, some wedding banquet coordinator. I would easily give chandlers a 5 rating if I had not had to work with Kim in Banquets. She made everything more difficult than it had to be, from answering her phone calls (which she didn't) to the actual day of the wedding when she forced us to more mid-family portraits. She placed a hold on my parents credit card twice, and as a result final payment had to be done in cash. The food was excellent, everyone raved about the chocolate fountain and they did a great job setting up the room. My wedding was the only one set up on time, my cake was correct when a previous wedding was not, but they broke down the room before the end of the wedding. Yes it is a great value for what you are receiving.... My wedding was perfect regardless, but beware of the banquet coordinators.

I had my wedding ceremony & reception here. Every guest raved about how wonderful the food was. The outside patio was a beautiful location for my ceremony and had more than enough room. The wedding coordinators were extremely helpful and helped me to be on track with everything. I did not give them much direction on the decorations, and they made the room look so elegant and beautiful. It was everything I expected it to be and then some. The golf course made for breathtaking photo's. Overall, we could not have been happier with this venue.
