Just check their Google Business reviews to understand how terrible the owners are. To make matters worse, the following story by NBC news just uncovered that the owners have not b...
een making their property lease payments, and will be shutting down without offering refunds to all of the customers who have paid deposits and are now without a wedding venue!

Oh boy where to begin? Well overall let’s just say that the owners have no business in the wedding business. The ONLY thing this venue has going for it is the property itself, whic...
h is gorgeous and offers amazing photography opportunities. BUT THATS IT. The owners made it loud and clear they only care about money. Disgraceful. They didn’t even come up to us on our wedding day to congratulate us or anything. They just hid behind the bar all night. They went back on their word countless times and even had to cancel a service offered in the contract. I genuinely mean this by saying had we known they were going to be this shady and snakelike we would have NOT chose this venue for our wedding. 0/10 incredibly glad we no longer have to deal with them any further.
We recently had my daughter's wedding at this venue. It was picked it due to the beauty of the venue, however, with the issues we had with the owners if we knew this prior, we wou...
ld have never selected this venue. When we booked the venue in June of 2023 for a March 2024 wedding, we were told that in Jan. 2024 their alcohol policy would change and you would have to purchase the bartender and alcohol through them. We informed them at the time, that our family and guest like higher quality wines so we knew we would be charged a premium. When the time came to select the wines, their selection were not of our liking, so we gave them a list of wines we would prefer for the wedding. They did find the wines, but sure charged quite an upcharge for the alcohol. When we discussed the price with them, their response was this is "normal" and we need to just pay the price. This is the second daughter we married in a year, and this was NOT normal from our previous experience with another venue. They also had a required tip when we made the payment of the alcohol prior to the wedding. No other venue we dealt with asked for a required tip in advance. In addition they had a tip jar out during the wedding which we felt was inappropriate.
Additionally, the owners don't work on Monday and Tuesday, so if you ever try to get ahold of them forget those days. If you send them an email it took a week for them to respond and if you wanted to have a call with them, we had to schedule it a few weeks out. The are not about making the day special for the bride and groom, they are more about making money.
When we arrived on the day of the wedding, they had an employee there to help us out. She did do whatever asked, but nothing more. Groomsmen walked into the venue and they were lost, she couldn't look up from her phone to direct them to the grooms suite. We had to pick up trash from the venue grounds as were having an outdoor wedding and there was trash in sight on the ground of the ceremony location, there were tall weeds in the outdoor ceremony location which we had to pull and stomp down so they weren't in the photos, there was bird poop on one of the bridges so they couldn't use that bridge for photos, and there was a partial tree down over a sidewalk we wanted to use for photos. The venue definitely lacked TLC and upkeep. The bridal suite door would not close all the way, so someone had to stand guard while the girls were changing.
Not once did the owners who were the bartenders, come up to the bride and groom to congratulate them or see if there was anything they could do to make their day special. ALL our other vendors went out of their way to make sure it was a special day for the bride and groom. In the end, we made sure the kids had a magical day, however, not with any help from the venue owners, which was very unlike the experience I had another venue for my other daughter.
Let me start by saying the owners, Sheena and Kyle, we’re absolutely the best! Kyle was there all day wedding day and stayed on top of anything that was needed. We booked this venu...
e right as they were going through ownership change and I was very skeptical about the transition, but these guys rocked and things went very smoothly. The venue is such a stunning place with the rustic vibe that we wanted. Fell in love the second we started our tour and knew it was ours. The price was unbeatable and you get so much more than what you pay for. And we loved the fact that the groom gets just as much as the bride. They have an entire cabin for the groom and his men. Definitely recommend everyone using chapel creek.
Chapel Creek Ranch Wedding Venue is a beautiful, tranquil property just north of Denton. It is a slice of haven, truly Texas!! As you enter the property you are greeted with the re...
sident longhorns. The road leads to the adorable wedding chapel which is impeccable, quaint and pristine. The grounds are well manicured. The venue itself impressive, dramatic, and rustic in the best possible way. The staff is warm and extremely accommodating. While Chapel Creek Ranch is primarily a wedding venue however I secured the property for booth a skeet shoot and a dove hunt for my client in the Real Estate World. If you are look for a venue for corporate retreats, family reunions, industry symposium you can find it all at Chapel Creek Ranch Wedding Venue.
Chapel Creek was so GREAT! Lana and the rest of Chapel Creek Ranch were so great in answering all of our questions and ensuring that everything went off without a hitch! We loved e...
very minute of the experience and got so many compliments from our friends and family about the venue!
I fell in love with this venue as soon as we drove up the drive. The rustic but modern barn is beautiful inside and out and had plenty of space for my 150 guests.
The owners were ...
kind, helpful and VERY communicative; ready to answer questions and provide pdfs/photos within minutes sometimes. The venue itself is very open on how you want to do things, which was great for us. We bought our own beer/wine and had a caterer outside of their list with no problems. The vendors on their provided VIP lists were incredible and easy to work with as well; you could tell they had worked at the venue before and knew what to do.
I was so lucky to book this venue in October and had an amazing outdoor, sunset ceremony.
My daughter and son-in-law loved Chapel Creek Ranch as soon as they saw it and quickly booked it since there was only one Saturday left in October well over a year in advance. The ...
venue is simply stunning: the grounds, the outdoor ceremony site, the chapel, the barn…everything. Our guests were amazed and couldn’t stop raving about it. The bridal suite and groom’s cabin were convenient (and attractive) places for the bridal party to get ready. The staff was easy to work with, had great suggestions for vendors, and were happy to answer any and all questions. You can’t go wrong having your wedding at Chapel Creek Ranch.
We toured the venue a a year and a half before our date, and it is a good thing to because they book up October super fast! The venue is super gorgeous with plenty of options for t...
he ceremony, photo spots, etc. They are also extremely accommodating! The day of our wedding it was supposed to storm, so the night before we asked them to go with our indoor plans. The morning of, we checked the weather and the rain forecast was gone; I reached out to them and we were able to go back to our original outdoor plan without issue! It was absolutely perfect! A few things to know if you want to book with them: they have a preferred vendor list for security and bartending (wasn't an issue with us because their list was fantastic), you can only use natural items for flower girls, send-offs, etc (which again wasn't an issue for us), and there was a minor hiccup with them switching to a new accounting system while we were making our payments but I kept my receipts and it was resolved in no time!
An additional note: if you are considering this venue - REACH OUT TO CINDY AT CM PROMOTIONS! She works with them alot and made our day flawless.
SO beautiful! We instantly fell in love when we toured this venue. We were able to bring in our own catering and alcohol. The venue manager, Lana, was so great as well! She is so f...
riendly and responds to any questions you may have. The new grooms cabin was a hit for my husband and his groomsmen! The land was perfect and we got so lucky it was a beautiful day. This venue has so many choices of where you can have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Every single one of these places are as equally beautiful as the next!
Chapel Creek Ranch was so breathtakingly beautiful. We received so many compliments about how gorgeous our venue was, and it made for some amazing photos! Having our ceremony on th...
eir grand staircase was a visual that was unlike any other venue we had visited. Their sweet little chapel was perfect for our cocktail hour. Most of all, my husband and I loved having the opportunity to take pictures with all of their cows on the property! The venue staff were also always so responsive, answered all of our questions, and were all around absolutely wonderful to work with. This was truly my dream venue. I feel like my words can't even do this place justice. We're very happy we found them!
We knew the minute we saw the venue that it was the place we wanted to be married. The barn is so elegant and the landscape around the barn with the chapel, pond, old farm equipmen...
t was charming and the perfect place for pictures. Lana and Angie are amazing. So kind, gracious, and helpful. Anytime we needed something they were right there. We also loved that they are a family owned business.

ing planning a breeze. They were quick to answer any questions we had and were accommodating to make sure our day went exactly how we wanted!
Chapel Creek Ranch was the perfect venue for my wedding! We got married in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic (6/27/2020), and their staff was nothing but accommodating and flexib...
le with us throughout the whole planning process. We were in constant communication with them (emailing, texting, and even visiting the venue) and they did a great job of answering our questions and helping us understand how we might be able to still have the wedding of our dreams. On the day of the event they were so professional and had everything set up . On the day of the event, the whole venue was beautifully set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It was so clean and organized, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to get married!
This venue is gorgeous!! The moment we walked on the property we knew it was the place we wanted to get married at. The barn speaks for itself and needs minimal decor. The staff is...
extremely helpful and will allow you to visit the property as much as needed for planning.
We had our wedding at Chapel Creek Ranch September, 2019 and it was perfect! They had a wedding the evening before so I had my rehearsal the morning of, which ended up working out ...
great. The grooms party got to do skeet shooting, which was a real highlight of their day. The day and evening went great and everything was perfect. It was a real hot day and the AC worked great, not sure what other reviews were referring to. I would recommend Chapel Creek Ranch to anyone who wants an outdoor/indoor wedding.
This venue was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our wedding! There were tons of places for photo opps. We initially wanted the ceremony outside, but it was cold and rainy. Plan...
B was in the chapel and it ended up even better than it would have been outside. The venue was very responsive throughout the process and I could not have been happier!
There were some issues on the day of with Wi-Fi and some wasps in the bridal suite, but Lana was very helpful and worked hard to make sure that everything went smoothly. We loved having our wedding at Chapel Creek!
This venue was something out of my dreams. It was everything I had ever wanted. The staff was amazing to work with and they were extremely nice! It was easily the most beautiful ba...
rn in the Denton area. You get the venue for the entire day, and you can add more time if you want to. They have several options of where to get married and great picture spots through the property. We had a lot of freedom of which vendors to bring it, besides bartenders (they had 2 options for us) and security (which I am so glad they were there because we had an unwanted guest show up, and they were extreme helpful cleaning up). If you are wanting to have a barn wedding, check this place out. Absolutely stunning
Beware the A/C issues especially for a summer wedding! They will blame your guests and apparently don’t want anyone going in and out of the venue during the reception so that it d...
oesn’t warm up. A venue that holds 350 should be prepared for that. Our count was under 250. They ruined my reception and I will never be able to get that day back. My guests were very uncomfortable and even those who were just sitting were still sweating. We have been emailing them back and forth since 7/6/19 (a day after our wedding) and all they do is blame our guest.
The venue was absolutely everything we had hoped for. It was the first one we looked at and after only making it to one other we knew this was the one! Just like all brides fear, i...
t ended up being a torrential downpour the morning of my wedding and despite planning for it to be in their outdoor ceremony location, they helped make sure a beautiful alternate option was created inside of the venue due to the storms. About an hour before the ceremony began and during my photos with my bridesmaids the rain stopped and looked absolutely beautiful outside so everyone quickly helped move everything back outside where I originally had planned and dreamed of getting married like I had envisioned the first day I saw Chapel Creek Ranch. Sloan and Brittany helped answer any and all of my questions prior to the wedding for my vendor list or linens I needed to buy and I appreciate their support on my wedding day as well! Great venue and HIGHLY recommend it!
As a bride, I couldn't of asked for a better more amazing venue to host my special day. The staff was so warm and welcoming, making me feel like they were inviting me into their ho...
me. The venue itself is beautiful with views of the Texas hill country that goes for miles and the barn brought the rustic country look that we were going for. My husband loved the skeet shooting in the morning for him and the groomsmen and the lawn games that everyone got to enjoy during the reception. Having an all day rental really helped me relax, being able to come in, decorate and leaving plenty of time for all the special moments that came along with my wedding day. They have an open catering policy, so we were able to bring in whoever we wanted to serve our guests for food. They made the planning process so easy, allowing us to bring in our vendors that we wanted and were familiar with. We would recommend Chapel Creek Ranch to couples that are looking for friendly and personal environment were the staff takes a personal interest and goes above and beyond to ensure that your event is perfect.
Brittani and Hannah were so sweet and personable. While we didn't go with their venue (simply due to our own personal taste only), we still wanted to rave about how amazing they we...
re. They had ideas, questions, and suggestions for our event and were willing to work with us. Their prices and policies are very reasonable. The venue is beautiful and we would recommend this venue to anyone!

azing! She made us feel so welcomed and that we belonged and answered any and all questions we had. I knew that was where we had to have our wedding! Everything was absolutely beautiful there, the grounds, the chapel, the barn, everything! The staff was great and always answered any questions I had and made sure I had everything I needed. Chapel Creek Ranch made my dream wedding come true and all of my guests told me how beautiful the venue was. I couldn't have dreamed of having my wedding anywhere else!
This was the only venue we went and saw for our wedding, walking through the property we just fell in love! We are so glad we chose this venue for our special day!
My husband and I probably went to fifteen venues and we happened to stop by Chapel Creek on a whim after I saw them in the Brides of Texas magazine. We walked onto the property and...
both of us instantly fell in love with it. There is so much character and space for your guests to explore! It was truly a unique and wonderful venue. If you sign with them the day you see the property they will give you a significant discount and my husband is in the military so we got a discount there as well. The venue was perfect and we loved it all! Their communication and customer service was top notch! Courtney and Brittani are a delight to work with!
Full disclosure... Our only complaint was that apparently the floor that they have in the big barn is extremely absorbent and hard to clean (which they admitted). Consequently, when one of the servers at the wedding dropped a sterno and didn't immediately clean it up it left a stain on the floor for which they deducted half of our security deposit. This was seriously our only downfall otherwise we are so happy and grateful to them for helping us have the greatest day ever!
Chapel Creek Ranch was the most beautiful venue that I have ever laid eyes on! Not only was the venue stunning, but everyone who worked there went above and beyond to make our ...
day so special! They truly cared about us as people, and not just another wedding. There are so many picture worthy areas at the ranch, it will be hard to choose! We our ceremony at Horseshoe point, and then moved our reception inside to where our guests were blown away with everything! It's truly one of a kind venue, and I highly recommend CCR! It was also so nice to have the bridal and grooms suite on site, it made our timeline so much less stressful!
My husband and I got married at Chapel Creek Ranch on July 2 and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue coordinator was wonderful to work with and easy to get in touch with as the ...
planning took place. The venue and property is incredibly pretty with so many different places to take pictures, areas for people to hang out at, and different options of places to hold the ceremony. oh and the bridal suite is pretty amazing!! Definitely a perfect place for the girls to get ready in! I highly recommend booking at this venue - it was more than I could have asked for!

d were so overjoyed to get married here. We had a large guest count, and yet the venue never lost its spacious feel, and everyone comfortably fit. 10 out of 10 would recommend again.

rating, and adding last minute touches. We had the wedding outside by the windmill and the reception in the spacious, rustic , beautiful barn! We would definitely use this venue again!
