Our introduction to Mike was by complete happenstance. We were visiting the venue and he was setting up a wedding for that evening. He didn't push himself on us or try to sell himself. We had a phone conference with him where he revealed a number of vendors and sources that would save us thousands of dollars before we had even signed a contract with him. His willingness to share this information immediately showed us how genuine he was and why we should work with him. Our yearlong planning journey was not without challenges but Mike made every one of them easier to bear. He regularly stayed on top of the vendors that weren't as responsive as we'd expect and he continued to prod us and keep us on task so as not to be rushing around at the last minute. He was able to put out and prevent any fires started during the planning stages. During the final weeks and the day-of, Mike was extremely accessible, professional, upbeat and willing to go to war with any obstacle that stood in our way. He does not rest until the job is done and done beautifully. His assistant on wedding day, Sarah, was amazing. Professional, to the point and laser focused. Just like Mike. There are a thousand more great things we could say about Mike and his dedication to his craft. All of which are impeccable. I can't speak for other planners other than the fact that the ones we spoke with before Mike were very nonchalant about gaining our business as if they knew someone would hire them and they didn't care if it was us or not. Not to mention they were ALL considerably more expensive. Dealing with mike never felt like a business transaction. It felt like a friend who shared our vision and was determined to make it happen. Long story short, this is your guy. If you want to someone genuinely invested in your love, future your big day, look no further. Mike is no longer our planner which makes me sad.
