Charlotte Fête

Chelsey is a gem! We loved having her as our wedding planner. I really liked having her professional opinions when it came to decision making. Most of our vendors were through her recommendations - ones that I had not heard of before through other websites or social media and that was so valuable to us! She was always available to talk or meet with us as needed and her encouraging and positive energy really makes you feel like she is a friend and that your event will be amazing! Even the night of our wedding, when the reception was over, Chelsey even made that part feel special! I honestly believe in just a few years, Charlotte Fete will need to be booked years in advance due to high demand. What an amazing day thanks to the Charlotte Fete team!

Chelsey is WONDERFUL! Hiring her was such a great decision. I loved her energy and desire to make our wedding weekend enjoyable, smooth, and stress-free. I was not the kind of bride who had always dreamed of my wedding day, so needless to say I was pretty clueless about where to even start in the planning process. Thank goodness we hired Chelsey early in that process and she was such a blessing to us. She helped us focus on the right things at the right time, and directed us on which vendors to talk to in what order. She attended vendor meetings with me and asked all of the questions that I didn’t know to ask. She put together two flawless schedules for the weekend (one for our wedding party and one for the vendors) that included every detail of the long weekend… even wedding-related events that were beyond the events that we hired her to execute… she just really went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had a schedule that covered everything (and more!) that they needed to know. Even my extreme type A bridesmaids were impressed. :) And one other small-detail story to illustrate that Chelsey and her team are not just focused on the big picture, but all of the small details too. My husband’s cousin gifted us beautiful champagne flutes that we used during the cake cutting. After we cut the cake we moved on to walking around the room and chatting with some guests… I still had my champagne flute with me, and Chelsey quickly came up to me with a different flute from the caterer and switched it out because she didn’t want me to put my glass down and perhaps never see it again if it was accidently picked up by the caterer or another vendor. I know this is a small detail, but in that moment I thought I’m so glad we hired her. And months later, I’m still so glad that we hired her. She executed our big day perfectly and allowed us to focus our time and energy on soaking up all of the beautiful moments that made up our wedding day.

For anyone going back and forth on whether or not to hire a wedding planner: don’t hesitate any more- HIRE one and make sure it’s Chelsey with Charlotte Fete! Chelsey and I got acquainted through a local Facebook group and she and I totally hit it off when we first met. She completely understood the vibe we were going for in our wedding and worked with us to create a custom planning package that fit our needs and our budget. She understood our vision and answered all of my silly bride questions with patience and compassion. Our communication got a little spotty during the busy wedding season, but 6 weeks or so before our date Chelsey really hit the ground running and I got to see her in true planner mode. I barely had any communication with our vendors up to the date- Chelsey handled all of the coordination, scheduling and logistics including coordinating the rentals in keeping with our vision and theme. She made sure me, my husband, our bridal party and our families had schedules, knew where to be and when, what to bring, etc. I know for a fact there are probably a million and one things that went wrong behind the scenes but I was completely oblivious while Chelsey took care of everything (and let me tell you, I was HAPPY not knowing!) Chelsey was truly the cornerstone of our day and we would not have had the successful event we had without her. I consider her a top notch planner and know that her fledgling business will continue to thrive as she works so diligently and professionally with couples like us! As a bride, my top four priorities for my vendors were Price, Quality of Service, Responsiveness, and Consistency with our Vision: Price: 5*, Quality of Service: 5*, Responsiveness: 4*, Vision: 5*, Overall: 4.75*

We loved working with Chelsey to plan our September 2017 wedding! She was a dream to work with and always was 1 step ahead when it came to details. My wedding day was absolutely perfect, I didn't have to worry about a thing the entire weekend. It was all taken care of, and that made all the difference! I worked with Chelsey several months before the big day and it was so great to be able to work together for so long, rather than just day of, because she really got to know my husband and I and our styles so she executed everything on day of flawlessly. If I had it to do all over again, I would choose Chelsey again!

As one of Chelsey’s first brides, I can say that I immediately trusted her with every aspect of my wedding. She had the perfect way of balancing my requests/needs with her own experience and creativity. The venue was exactly what I had pictured and Chelsey connected us with the vendors who made it all come together. The day went by without a hitch and I have Chelsey to thank for all of her work behind the scenes. I have already and will continue to recommend Charlotte Fete for all wedding and event management needs!

As the Mother of the Bride, who lives out of town, I was so thrilled when my daughter told me she had hired Chelsey as her planner. I was not able to be there to help out with all of the details, but Chelsey was. She is remarkable! She not only helped my daughter with the 1001 decisions that had to be made, she did it with patience and kindness. The wedding was perfect thanks to her. There were a couple of glitches in the night, but Chelsea relayed them to me very calmly and the bride never knew. Chelsey wanted to be sure that my daughter never got one ounce of stress on her big day! And it worked! Chelsey you are amazing and we adore you! Thanks so much for making my daughter's wedding seamless and beautiful!

Chelsey with Charlotte Fete is absolutely fabulous. Her passion for weddings truly shines during the entire planning process. She knows the answers to everything and even the little details which matter the most. Her assistants are wonderful and the entire team is so professional. There was a mixup with the chef during the reception that changed the timeline but Chelsey and her team quickly resolved the issue. No one knew there was an issue or a change in timeline and it even worked out better. Flawless thanks to Chelsey! I highly recommend her and she will make your wedding dreams come true!

Chelsey Sanderson was INCREDIBLE! There truly are no words to express how great it was working with her. The entire process was seamless, and she made every step easy! Our wedding weekend was truly a fairytale, and we can thank Chelsey and her team for that! When I didn't know what decision to make, she gave me options, and her professional opinion when needed! She was worth every cent! And honestly, for the amount of service she provides, she is extremely cost friendly. From her branding to her professionalism, she will forever be referable by my husband and I :) We love you Chelsey!!!!

Without question, Charlotte Fete is the best investment you can make for your wedding. I have a busy work schedule and full social calendar, so I heavily relied on Charlotte Fete to plan and design my wedding from start to finish. But believe me, even the DYI, organized, and independent brides need Charlotte Fete to create a seamless, dream come true wedding. Chelsey and her team are the best and brightest in the industry. One of Chelsey’s go-to words is “alignment.” She has carefully selected every vendor, partner, and couple to work with to ensure all parties are on the same page. The result is picture perfect. When you become a Charlotte Fete bride, you become partners. You are on the same team, working together to achieve great success. Chelsey has a clear vision amidst uncertainty. She knew what I wanted before I did!! We were unfocused and unclear with the design of our wedding. Chelsey allowed me to go through the design process (thoroughly) so I could ultimately come to the same conclusions and choices she had picked from the very beginning! She completely understood the vision we kept trying to explain. She takes time to think through difficult decisions, while also knowing the right time to be decisive and move on to the next task. In the end, Chelsey hired the vendors we needed; delivered luxurious, modern linens; provided draping that was soft and intimate; and created room filled with 500+ candles, monochromatic flowers, three different table set ups with three different chairs (including beautiful acrylic ghost chairs!!), and a stage every band dreams of. Charlotte Fete made our downtown Charlotte venue feel like a swanky, luxurious party in Manhattan with breathtaking city views. You need Chelsey by your side on your wedding day. She orchestrated the perfect wedding day for us. Charlotte Fete picked up over 200 doughnuts, set up a private space for us to eat dinner during the reception (which was a spur of the moment decision), made sure we had a personal waitress throughout the evening, oversaw the set up / break down of our entire wedding which involved over 15 vendors, cleaned our hotel suite and made sure it was perfect when we arrived, and personally delivered all our items back to our condo after the wedding. I cannot express how incredibly grateful I am that Chelsey was my anchor on my wedding day. Her calm demeanor kept everyone assured and confident, making the day perfect. Hire Charlotte Fete! Simply put, Chelsey is star and a must-have to plan your wedding!

I am so incredibly grateful to have had Chelsey as our Wedding Planner! I was actually working with a different planner because officially hiring Chelsey and truly feel it was the best decision we made switching to Charlotte Fete. We loved working with Chelsey and her team. She wasn't afraid to give us her honest opinion (seriously, take her advice bc you won't regret it) and she made the big day seem way more managable. The whole weekend went so smoothly and that was only bc of the Charlotte Fête team. My only regret is that I didn't work with Chelsey and her team sooner.
