Could not recommend Jocelyn enough!! Having her to bounce questions off of leading up to the wedding was so helpful, met a few times as we got closer to the wedding and she always put my mind at ease. So organized and on top of things! Her planning website is a great tool as well! I mainly hired her for day of and I would do it 100000x over! She ensured everything went smoothly and coordinated with all the vendors and our day was PERFECT thanks to her!

Incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and helped us put together our wedding celebration so well! We are so glad Jocelyn was able to help us with our daughter’s wedding. My daughter lives out of the country, so it was a little more difficult coordinating the details for her wedding.
Jocelyn was referred to me by a friend who had recently worked with her, for her daughter’s wedding – am I’m very grateful she did! Jocelyn was very easy to work with, very organized and very calm. She provided us with a checklist to keep things on track, was a great resource for wedding vendors and always responded to our calls/emails quickly. Her reception table layout software made it so easy to create the seating chart too! From her experience with weddings, she thought of things that I didn’t and had great tips/ideas to help. I really appreciated the fact that Jocelyn contacted all the vendors before the wedding, to coordinate and confirm all timelines and details. This really helped everything run smoothly.
My daughter’s wedding was perfect. We had a fun, relaxing day because we knew Jocelyn was there to take care of anything that came up. She makes sure all the little details are being taken care of, so that you can just focus on enjoying the day.

Jocelyn was nothing short of amazing and I am so glad our friends recommended her to us. A few months before the wedding, she would contact us regularly to check in on the planning process and connect us with any resources we needed. The in-person meetings were also nice to put my mind at ease with the planning process and also give myself a clear direction on what else needed to be done. And then the week/day of the wedding, Jocelyn was there for anything we needed. She resolved any issues that came up and was able to solve them quickly. Most of the time before I even realized there was an issue! It helped make the day go so smoothly and really put my mind at ease knowing I could just focus on enjoying the day. I can't wait to be the one that gets to recommend Jocelyn to all of my friends planning their own weddings now!
I can only describe Charming Soirees as a "beyond wonderful experience." I can honestly say that our wedding was almost entirely stress-free, largely due to the efforts of Charming Soirees. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. It is unlikely that any other service is as effective as them for the price point asked.
If you need a coordinator with day-of presence (and trust me, you do) then I would look no further.
I really do not have all of the words to describe how great Jocelyn is and how helpful she is throughout the wedding planning process. My wedding was the best day of my life and that has a great part to do with the work that Jocelyn does! I had to worry about nothing. I am not exaggerating when I say that, Jocelyn coordinates with all vendors and makes sure that they are on the same page before the wedding. Then the day of the wedding she ran the show so that my family and I could enjoy the day with absolutely no stress. She made my entire wedding planning process and the day of the wedding, totally stress free and so much fun!! She is the best decision that we made for our wedding and I cannot recommend her enough. She provides you with an extremely extensive check list that helped me stay on track and see what’s coming up. There were so many details on the list that I would have completely missed had she not provided that service! She also drew out the floor plan of my reception and we could put names to each chair to help
make our seating chart decision so much easier. She is the most amazing person to work with and I recommend her to everyone I know!
Jocelyn was the absolute best to work with. The first time meeting with her I knew I would be crazy not to hire her as my day of coordinator. She goes above and beyond for everyone around.
I am so lucky to have found Jocelyn when I was looking for a wedding planner. She is phenomenal at her job, and felt like a second mom at times when my mom was across the state. Jocelyn is an excellent communicator, has brilliant ideas and is also a very good listener. I was on a tight budget and Jocelyn helped me work a realistic plan into what I could afford. Throughout the entire planning process, Jocelyn went above and beyond my expectations. I got married on my husband's family's farm with lots of moving parts and very atypical wedding planning. Jocelyn took on every task I asked of her with a smile, and she took on a few extra things that she could tell would be helpful for me. My wedding day was absolutely perfect, thanks to all of Jocelyn's hard work and dedication. I could not recommend her more!
Jocelyn is amazing!! A few months before our wedding, I realized I was a little in over my head with logistical planning and really needed some help. I am so thankful I found Jocelyn and that we were able to work together. She is so organized, flexible,
and professional, and took care of even the smallest details (and was able to provide insight into things I had never even considered during the planning process!). She helped us create a very detailed and organized day-of timeline and communicated/coordinated with all our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. She regularly checked in on us, even outside our scheduled planning meetings. Most of all, when we had to move our ceremony inside the day of the wedding due to an unexpected thunderstorm, she made the entire process run so smoothly and allowed us to be completely stress-free. Jocelyn truly went above and beyond and we quite literally could not have done this without her. We are so grateful for her. Thank you so much, Jocelyn!
Jocelyn was the best wedding planner we could have ever had asked for! The other venders we had worked with even talked highly about Jocelyn they said she was one of the nicest and best wedding planners they have ever worked with. She helped us develop a timeline and always made sure everything was taken care of. She did a great job asking us about our vision and what we wanted every time we met up to discuss wedding details. We highly recommend choosing Jocelyn to plan your perfect day, as she made ours the best we could have ever asked for. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner who truly is so passionate about her job! Jocelyn made our day run so smoothly she even bought cute clear umbrellas for our big day because there was a slight chance of rain, she made sure the rain wouldn’t ruin our day and made me feel better about the situation. I’m so glad we choose her because she was so thoughtful and communicated so well with all the other vendors for us!! We highly recommend Jocelyn to be your wedding planner she will make it a tress free day and make sure it’s everything you dreamed of!
Jocelyn helped us so much during the planning process as well as on the day of our wedding and we could not have done it without her! She was always very responsive and timely which was always appreciated and her help with coordinating with my other vendors was crucial in getting me through the weeks leading up to the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Jocelyn. I truly feel that, without her, I would have not enjoyed my wedding nearly as much as I did. From the beginning of the planning process to the end of the big day, she was honestly one of the main people who kept me from stressing out about it all! She went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying myself and made sure I did not have to deal with any of the little bumps in the road that came up during the big day. At one point, my hair stylist ran over on time of my hair and made me 25 minutes late for the ceremony and Jocelyn reassured me multiple times to take some deep breaths, that it wasn’t a big deal and that the ceremony couldn’t start without me, so I had no reason to worry. She truly made me feel SO much less stressed and made me feel like I was taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She even checked on me the following day to make sure I had a great time. Her planning, expertise, kindness and compassion was what kept me grounded when I started to feel stressed about anything at all. Thank you so much, again, Jocelyn!!!
Jocelyn is incredible. She goes above and beyond in making sure you have nothing to worry about the day of your wedding. The planning and support she provided was above and beyond. Things I never would have thought to do, she had it covered. We recommend her to everyone who is looking for a planner, even if it’s just for day of. She is extremely organized and truly was a breath of fresh air on the day of our wedding. Always cool, calm, and collected. We got to enjoy our day and not worry about a thing because we knew Jocelyn was taking care of us. Don’t hesitate to reach out to her; you won’t regret it!
Rebecca was essential to making our wedding go off without a hitch. We hired her a few months before the wedding and she helped us organize our ideas into a cohesive plan. She also stayed on top of our vendors to ensure everything detail was taken care of. When the day came, Rebecca kept all the relatives and wedding party in line for the rehearsal and ceremony. She made it easy for us, and solved problems so that we were free to enjoy the day. She also stepped up to the plate and took on any job that needed doing. We used a collection of antique glass from my great grandmother for centerpieces, and Rebecca said she would arrange them all without hesitation. She did an amazing job and they looked great, and then she carefully packed them all away after dinner. Highly recommend her services.
Jocelyn is an angel sent from above! I decided FAR too late in the planning process to hire a day of coordinator. She did not hesitate to accept the challenge. She jumped in and started helping immediately. Contacting vendors and introducing herself, confirming timelines and locations, she confirmed everything down to the smallest detail. The service she provides is truly exceptional. Joceyln made our day completely stress free, which allowed us to truly be present and enjoy our day. She is so kind, professional and beyond organized. Working with Jocelyn was a pleasure, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for coordination assistance.
Jocelyn was amazing to work with for my wedding in March 2022. My husband and I are from St. Louis, but live in a different state now, and it was so helpful to have Jocelyn working to coordinate everything from her end. Jocelyn was invaluable in the last few weeks before our wedding to coordinate and make sure we had all of the small details taken care of. Jocelyn was also able to field questions from our family members to take the weight off of us. Jocelyn was able to make sure nothing fell through the cracks!! I could not have done it without her!
We truly could not have done this wedding without Jocelyn. She was the absolute best to work with!! She reached out to vendors, made an incredible timeline and made the day-of a BREEZE. It all went off without a hitch because of Jocelyn and her hard work. We had a couple meetings beforehand where we really ironed out everything and she left me feeling confident and ready for the big day. I cannot recommend her enough! She is the best!!
Out of everything we planned for our wedding, Jocelyn was definitely the BEST part of it all! I truly can't imagine the wedding process without her! She is so professional, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. She was available by email, phone, text, and in person whenever I needed! Her attention to detail is amazing and she made sure every single box was checked before the big day! I can't say enough good things about her. I will definitely recommend her to ANY bride getting married in the STL-IL area. 10/10 stars!!

Jocelyn is an experienced and exceptional wedding planner with reasonably priced package. Throughout planning Jocelyn checked in with us regularly. Jocelyn was helpful throughout, including sharing etiquette and norms, ideas of affordable decors, vendor recommendation, printing the seating chart and bringing supplies like cake stand, etc. We had last minute issues with stains on the wedding dress and Jocelyn was ready to rescue the situation. Would recommend!
Jocelyn was the best investment in our wedding we could've made! She ensured our entire day would flow seamlessly - because, even when things are bound to go wrong, we knew she could handle anything. There are a million details that can fall through the cracks, even for the most organized of brides, and she thought of everything! With unlimited calls and meetings ahead of the big day, she'll ensure you're set up for success and will handle anything else. Her calm, cool demeanor also helps chill the nerves before walking down the aisle. Also, she had several items on-hand (clear umbrellas for a rainy day, tee-light candles for added brightness and greenery to boost the aisle decore) that brought our event to the next level. Hire her and let go of stress and worry!
Hiring Jocelyn was the best decision we made in planning our wedding! We made the decision to switch wedding coordinators from another planner (not associated with Charming Soirees) to Jocelyn and we couldn't have been more grateful! Jocelyn and her team took care of EVERYTHING! I especially loved how easy they were to communicate with and how responsive they were to my needs/questions. We were married at our home, so there was a LOT of work to do the day off-- moving tables around, setting up chairs, florals, etc. Jocelyn and Margaret guided us through selecting our florals, dealing with rain, and everything in between. If you are looking for the perfect person to guide you through planning, with all of the tools you need, hire Charming Soirees. You will not be disappointed!
Jocelyn was INCREDIBLE. Honestly, she was instrumental to our wedding being a success. Even my now-husband (who was skeptical about hiring a planner at first), said to me afterwards "if there is one thing about this wedding that I am glad we spent money on, it is to have Jocelyn there". The planning meetings we had before the wedding really helped me get organized and think about small details that I had no idea I even need to think about. And even with those little details, there were still a lot of little details that fell through the cracks until the day of - and she handled them all. Us losing the funnel for the hour glass for the sand ceremony? No problem, I texted Jocelyn and she found some funnels. We didn't have the wifi password to stream the wedding 20 minutes before the ceremony? Jocelyn was all over it. Mom losing her shoes an hour before the ceremony? Jocelyn called the salon we got ready at to see if they were there. Stressed out because it's 20 degrees outside and all of your bridesmaids were cold and complaining? Jocelyn was waiting with drinks. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best day. I've already recommended her to friends, and I want everyone to know what an amazing planner she was for me. Hire her!! She's worth it!
Jocelyn was absolutely amazing. We could not have pulled off our ceremony without her help. Because of covid we only had a ceremony for now. She so kindly said she would spilt up her time and help us plan the reception next year. Highly recommended!!! My day was so much more relaxed knowing Jocelyn had it under control!
If you are looking for someone who can keep you organized and on track during the wedding planning process look no further ! Jocelyn helped us plan our May 2020 wedding which had to be rescheduled for Fall, due to Covid. My husband will be the first to tell you that hiring her was the best decision we made during all of it. The amount of time that Jocelyn spends via text, email, phone and meetings in person really blew us away. She set up our reception for us, helped our officiant during our rehearsal, kept our bridal party in line--all the details that help you breathe and enjoy your big day, she took care of. She's professional and I know without a doubt she could tackle any obstacle that would or could arise. It's been two weeks now since our wedding and Jocelyn's name has been brought up by many of our friends and family who were so impressed by her services. If you are on the fence about a wedding coordinator, my best advice is to go for it. My husband and I found other ways to cut down on our budget and in return got to enjoy our wedding day all because of Jocelyn. Her talent and resourcefulness in the midst of these uncertain times were a God send to us.
My husband and I hired Jocelyn to be our day of coordinater for our wedding! Let me tell you, she went above and beyond to make our wedding day great! She took all of my worries and stresses away. She made the day flow very nicely with creating a timeline for our wedding day! I recommend using her if you have a wedding or any kind of event coming up! Jocelyn definitely works wonders!!
My husband and I hired Jocelyn to coordinate our wedding (day of coordination) and it was the BEST decision we made. Jocelyn took the what ifs and stresses of the day off of our shoulders. We didn't have a worry in the world!!! She helped with every single detail of the day (picking up donuts, coordinating the day, taking down all the decorations, holding onto all my tip envelopes and passing them out at the end) AND she got our little flower girls to go down the aisle even when we didn't know if it would happen. Jocelyn also created a day of timeline and communicated with all of our vendors which was a huge help and another thing we didn't have to worry about. All in all Jocelyn is amazing! She is very professional and you also know that she truly cares about how your big day goes! Thank you so much Jocelyn! I will be recommending you to all of my friends!
We initially were not too sure about hiring a wedding organizer and were doubtful how helpful the role could be, but Jocelyn was one of our best decisions we made in preparation for the wedding! She was such a key person who made the wedding day itself so joyful and stressfree for the bride and groom. Jocelyn managed and decorated the wedding as if she did it for her own family member. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time on the day and was such an easy person to work with. There were so many instances that she made us feel that our wedding wouldn't be as lovely without her help. A few of my favorites are
- Jocelyn saw my dress is way too long and would be difficult for me to walk around / dance. She somehow managed to find a sewing kit and sewed my dress in a perfect way! Still pretty and much more comfortable to be walking around with
- Jocelyn paid great attention to detail. She prepared color books for the kid's table. Not only this made the kids very happy, the parents had more time to enjoy the dinner
- Jocelyn was extremely patient with our changes and demand. There were many changes that happened a few days just before the wedding. Not only Jocelyn was calm throughout those times (which was super helpful!), she would also help us find solutions for all.
I couldn't recommend Jocelyn enough! She really has the talent to turn your wedding into such a magical day! Thank you Jocelyn!!
