Chattown Catering

I wish I could give Chattown catering a 5 star review, The bartenders they provided for day of service did not know how to make the speciality cocktails we asked, even after providing the exact recipe. We originally were going to go with a different bartending company, as Chatttown’s was a few hundred dollars more expensive, however Denise spoke negatively of the company I was originally going with and assured me her team was 5 stars and would deliver, so I went with them. However, the service we received is far from 5 stars. We had hundreds of Dollars of wasted liquor and garnishes because their bartenders could not make the drinks we had picked, and agreed upon prior to wedding day. They were putting whiskey in an aperol spritz, and using sprite instead of soda water in drinks. I provided 2 huge containers of agave nectar, 8 bottles of soda water- which recipes called for- neither bottles were opened. They stated they couldn’t find any of the items, when later they found them in their other bar set up- so instead of asking me or quite frankly anyone on site to help so that things would be done CORRECTLY, they just winged it. After stating my frustrations with the service we were provided day of, they said that I should have said something during service on my wedding day and that it wasn’t their fault since I didn’t say anything other than the one time I sent my drink back. As the bride, you should NOT have to chase down bartenders that you are paying alot of money for to make sure they are making a drink correctly. You pay all of this money so that day of you are relaxed and have no worries. However, I was told that I should have taken time out of my wedding day to correct their errors. They also tried to blame it on my wedding planner that she should have said something. Extremely unprofessional. Not to mention, the Sunday after our wedding, we realized all of the leftover food was left sitting outside and completely ruined. They also tried to blame my wedding planner saying it was her job, and not theirs to take care of the remaining food. The food was decent, the bakery they recommended was amazing. However, the costumer I received after the wedding was extremely disappointing. I spoke with Denise and she was apologetic originally stating she would refund the bar tab and remake the food that went spoiled, only to be called 2 weeks later after returning from our honeymoon and her and Shania blame me and my wedding coordinator saying that it was our faults for Chattown caterings a short comings. Do not recommend Chatt town catering or their bartending services. Makes me very sad to write this review, however the owner, Denise, has chosen not to respond to my text message and will no longer provide me with the compensation she originally agreed upon.

Denise and her team at Chattown Catering are so amazing! She was incredibly easy to work with and the menu was fantastic. They had about a 40 minute drive to the wedding venue, but the food was so fresh it tasted like they made it on site! We had macaroni bites and Caprese salad skewers as passed appetizers, and salad, green beans, scalloped potatoes, and parmesan chicken for dinner. Everything tasted amazing. Guests went back for seconds and thirds of everything. My uncle who doesn’t eat chicken even ate some and said it was the best he’s ever had! The catering and wait staff were also incredibly nice and attentive. They kept the tables clean and guests happy. We also used Chattown Catering for our bar tending services. The bartenders were very amiable and I enjoyed chatting with them immensely. They also moved the wedding cake from the fridge to the reception area after the ceremony. They went over and above with their services. I’m so happy we used them as caterers for our wedding!

I just had a wedding last weekend that was catered by Chattown and I literally couldn't have asked for better service. Denise, one of the owners, was very quick to respond to any emails and was very informative and helpful during the entire process. The food tastes like it came straight from mama's kitchen and was absolutely delicious and received many compliments throughout the evening by the guests. The staff that showed up to the venue were perfect and very helpful without feeling intrusive or in the way. Chattown also offers other services such as wedding planning and coordinating services for those who need it. We ended up going with a wedding coordinator, El Taylor, who was more than amazing. The weeks leading up to the wedding were stressful but every time my wife and I talked to her, we always breathed a sigh of relief and felt that she had it under control for us. She made the entire wedding night go by flawlessly without ever having to worry once. I can't recommend her enough! And the same with Chattown as a whole. Friendly, informative, and responsive and great home cooked (never frozen) food. Absolute 10 out of 10.
