than I could have imagined. My bouquet was exactly how I wanted it from when I showed them a picture. Mitch is very professional, comes early to set up and will make your wedding beautiful!

n (sorry i forgot his name) there I was beyond thankful we picked this place. Not only was he accommodating to my indecision, he created my vision exactly. The staff was beyond patient with my millions of questions since I had a church wedding, and an offsite ceremony. Never mind the fact that my MIL from way out of state requested something different a week before the wedding and that the groomsmen, bridesmaids and family flowers all needed to go to different places. Not once were they annoyed, or upset with my calling or bride anxiety. I would travel the 25 minutes passing multiple florists just to buy from them again. Thank you from making such beautiful arrangements and being so supportive.

Mitch was very easy to work with, and his quote was right within my budget (unlike another vendor I spoke with who, despite assuring me they'd be in budget were 50% over with their quote!). Mitch was very open about which DIY stuff would be more budget friendly, and didn't mind at all that I supplemented his flowers with some store bought decor/flowers (mums - fall wedding). I was a bit nervous about how casual the whole process was - very laid back with the "contract" and payments etc, which would have made me concerned that they'd flake out on me, but I had the knowledge that they did great at my friends wedding, so I tempered those nerves. Mitch made up a sample centerpiece (got to take that home!), and made the minor change I asked for in the final pieces. The flowers were GORGEOUS and I feel as though I got a lot for the price. Highly recommend.

g again it was as if we were meeting for the first time. Every time I called he was out or unavailable. They need to be more organized and work on their service, but at least the flowers were beautiful and he stayed within our budget.

He was great, constantly saying "whatever you want". The amount of flowers I received for the cost was unreal! I showed him what I liked, he made suggestions on how to keep the cost low, but never strayed from the look I loved. Three weeks before my wedding, he had me come in and see a sample center piece and even sent it home with me. I received so many compliments on my flowers. The florist stayed at the venue until my tables were set up, they helped set up my card and gift table, helped set up pictures, and many other things they were not required to. They refused to leave until everything was set up! Im a huge fan of local family businesses too, go check out Check the Florist, he will treat you like family.

Issues with the church were taken care of before they became a problem and he handled everything in a professional manner. He even found a way to incorporate part of my wedding dress into my daughters bouquet ( her request :-). He truly loves what he does and it shows, he is on top of the trends and is not afraid of Pinterest !!! LOL I cannot recommend him enough — he is worth EVERY penny!!! Thanks Mitch and family for an amazing experience!!!

what we wanted. When I received my bouquet I was amazed at how gorgeous it was as well as the bridesmaids. The ballroom flowers were stunning and were exactly what I envisioned. Mitch went above and beyond and delivered a boutonniere to a loved one in the nursing home so he could be a part of the day.

what they do. At our first meeting we felt like we had made a friend. They listened to the different ideas we had, and presented their own, and we available to answer our questions whenever we had them. The flowers were delivered the morning of to our venue and were gorgeous. I wish they lasted forever.

f the brides bouquets as well as the bridesmaids, it was hard for myself to visual what they would look like with his vision and mine combined, eventually I had to go back with pictures of a new bouquet to be sure I knew what they would look like. I have heard many good things about Mitch, and they all proved to be correct.

even called a few weeks before the wedding to add flowers as my cake topper and flowers at the church and it was no problem at all. My bouquet was perfect and I would recommend them to any bride getting married. They are also very reasonably priced.

The process of planning a wedding is a stressful one, and Check went above and beyond to make the process as fun and go as smooth as possible, something I will forever be thankful for! The quality and creativity of Check is incredible, they are truly a talented bunch! I rented my candelabras from an outside vendor before discovering that Check carried the most beautiful vintage candelabras. I attempted to cancel my order with the other vendor WEEKS before the wedding and they were anything but accommodating. I was a very upset I wasted money on the candelabras, but was forced to utilize them since the other vendor refused to return the deposit. Mitch was aware of how much I loved his candelabras, and the morning of the wedding I got a call that Mitch would be using his beautiful candelabras instead of the ones I rented. I was ecstatic and could not wait to see our centerpieces – This act from Mitch meant the world to me! The flower arrangements in the church and reception hall were breathtaking! The centerpieces everything I imagined and more, not a detail was missed!! Check the Florist is the epitome of what a wedding florist should be – creative, accommodating, communicative, supportive, and friendly! Check the Florist is family-owned and operated since 1928, the shop is small and a bit outdated, but as the saying goes "Do not judge a book by its cover" - If given the chance I am sure Mitch and his team will win you over as he won me and my family!!

The building made me a little nervous because it was very rundown and needed a lot of work so I was worried about the quality of flowers we would get. We met with him to go over the details of our day and he promised to give us samples of our centerpiece and a BM bouquet for our dinner tasting at the venue. He did that for the centerpiece but not the bouquet. Also the centerpiece was the right concept but it was all colors that were not apart of our wedding. I called him to meet with him again and straighten things out as well as let wannamoisett country club know. He met with me, made some more notes,showed me a sample of the BM bouquet, and thru in an extra arrangement for the bar for our trouble. I met with him another time as well 2 weeks before the wedding because I was nervous about the colors being wrong from our original sample. He took more notes and again assured me it would be ok. Our colors were tiffany blue (we are aware flowers don't come in that color) and yellow with a butterfly theme. For the wedding the flowers arrived as planned at our hotel and the colors were right. The cocktail hr centerpieces and the lining of the aisle and petals on the table for our cake were all perfect. But the centerpiece which was supposed to have white and yellow flowers with tiffany blue butterflies now had white, yellow and dark blue flowers with orange butterflies. Our guests didn't seem to know they were wrong and it didn't bother us that much but it was just the point that we met with him 3xs and the info was all written down and it was still wrong. All and all I would probably still have booked him again for connivence of the package but if you are a bride looking for your flowers to steal the show he might not be the 1.

centerpieces for me on two different occassions and he changed the contract a few different times to accommodate items that I wanted to add/remove. He is very flexible and the flowers at my wedding we absolutely beautiful! I'm so grateful for having found him. And his prices were quite reasonable.

The centerpieces were beautifully classic and exactly what I was looking for and guests commented on how gorgeous the centerpieces and the altar arrangements were. All of the flowers were exactly what I had hoped and fit our winter wedding perfectly. Mitch and his staff were great to work with and it is apparent this is their passion and it is evident in the beauty they create.

The day of my May 2013 wedding they had to drop off flowers to the ceremony site, the place where we got ready and the venue site and to each place they were more than on time. I was very happy with that. My only concern was that I couldn't see a sample before the wedding because they didn't get any peonies in. They do offer this before your wedding date. I just decided to trust them. The flowers were beautiful but the color was a bit off but it still worked out with my wedding colors. I would just advise to make sure you see a sample of an arrangement if this is huge for you. -Jenny

schedule, when I showed up the people there were surprised and had me meet with an assistant to make the arrangements. She was not very helpful and just kept referring me to their books wanting me to pick something out from there instead of creating something new. The second time I came Mitchel was late, so we had to come back a 1/2 hour later when he would be back. When we did come back he was WONDERFUL. He pulled out flowers and we made mock arrangements. He had tons of ideas and would modify them based on what I said I liked and didn't like. Plus, he gave me a very reasonable price for the very expensive centerpieces that I wanted. The day of the wedding the centerpieces and bouquets were beautiful. My only complaint would be that the ceremony piece was much smaller than we had talked about and looked kind of silly on the alter since it was so small, but since I had a rather small flower budget and the other flowers were so beautiful I can't really complain.

get and for a time I thought I wouldn't even be able to have flowers at our wedding. Then when I talked to Check the Florist, they made it work! They nailed my wedding color (fuschia), always responded to my emails and calls and made me feel wonderful despite my limited budget. Sheena (one of their florists) especially was warm, understanding and great to work with. The flowers at my wedding were spot on.
