Checkers Catering was amazing! They were responsive, willing to work with our changing head count, and set up our venue beautifully! They were very kind and helpful! Overall, it was a pleasure working with them!

I used Checkers for my wedding in October, 2013. First off. Samantha, who was our day of coordinator, was AMAZING. Monica, who dealt with our account and worked with us in the months leading up to our wedding was also absolutely fantastic. She had to attend her best friend's wedding the same day as my wedding so we were handed off to Samantha a few months before our wedding. The hand off was very smooth and professional, and Monica stayed in the loop up until she left to be in her friend's wedding (a few days before my own wedding) and checked in with us after she returned the day after my wedding. Everything was handled with exceptional professionalism. The food was fantastic. We had asked them to do some things off their menu, some we liked (ask for a chicken cordon bleu with blood orange sauce!!). Others we thought the way they prepared the dish was far better than the changes we asked them to make (they had a wonderful blend of mashed sweet potato and yukon gold potato). Everything that was served was fantastic and our guests raved about the food for the rest of the night. My only regret is that my wife and I didn't get to take any home (we live in L.A. and drove back the day after the wedding, so we left everything with our families). Samantha was the best day of coordinator I could have asked for. She was constantly checking in to see if there was anything we needed done, and got everything done that I asked of her in a more than timely manner. Her staff did far more than just do dinner set-up, they really helped with making sure that the ceremony and reception sites were fully set up. Samantha was an invaluable resource to help coordinate with the venue and lighting setup. We had some mason jars with candles in them as part of our decorations as well as serving as party favors. They had Ashley go through and light the candles during dinner, she actually set them up to look far more beautiful than how we (the lowly groom and groomsmen) had set them up before the ceremony. It was a nice touch that they didn't have to do by any means but I noticed and highly appreciated it. I highly recommend Checkers for any event. For our wedding it was an absolute pleasure having Checkers be our caterer and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Our taste testing experience was just the beginning of a wonderful wedding-prep relationship. My husband and I can't emphasize enough how wonderful, professional, accommodating and creative the whole team was. And Samantha was just a GEM to work with. She knew how to create the wedding we dreamed of. And the day of the wedding, she was EXCEPTIONAL! Sam knew exactly what she was doing and knew how to execute a great wedding. In all honesty, we could have done without our "day of coordinator." Sam tackled so many things outside her duties. As hesitant as i was to choose buffet over sit down dinner, i'm relieved to say that the buffet is just as beautiful. The way the buffet table was decorated was absolutely phenomenal! We received so many compliments! And the way our sweetheart table was put together... i couldn't ask for anything better. So, again, a very big thank you to Samantha at Checkers Catering for doing such a phenomenal job handling everything from beginning to end. I will recommend them time and time again! P.S. Yes, the food was DELICIOUS!!

Very impressed with the entire company. Samantha was a dream to work with. When I went for the tasting I got a great tour and met many of the staff. My fiance at the time couldn't join me so Samantha prepared all the food I had sampled just for him as to not leave him out. For my wedding Samantha prepared a beautiful basket of food for us. All the food was wonderful!!! Samantha took great pride in making sure my wedding was the best!!
