Everything about Cheers Chalet met mine and my husband’s expectations. From the moment we toured the facility we knew that this was our wedding venue. They make wedding planning so easy and effortless. My husband and I live in South Carolina full time and planning a wedding in Ohio was something we knew would be difficult but Cheers made it so easy. We are so grateful for this venue and its employees. If you’re looking for a venue that will do everything you need them to do, cheers chalet is the perfect venue.

We loved working with Cheers Chalet for our wedding! They were very professional and informational throughout the entire process. We loved that they had so many options to make it easier for us, such as food tastings, a full menu for dinner and desert, and different options for settings for the ceremony. We would pick them again and again!

We got married at the Lakeside venue, and it was an absolute dream! Everyone was wonderful to work with, the food was amazing, and the venue was beautiful. Jackie, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing…she was so kind, helpful, and patient throughout the entire process. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Cheers Chalet was absolutely fantastic. They took care of every little thing and made wedding planning super easy :) I HIGHLY recommend. The grounds are beautiful and the food is phenomenal.

This venue was outstanding from the beginning to the end. I can't say enough about how accommodating the entire staff was! I had to change the color of my linens a month before our wedding and my coordinator, Lindsay, met with me right away to make that happen. She was available via text or email for any questions I had and replied promptly. Lindsay also texted me pictures of the reception area after they decorated it because I was so excited to see it all done. We had the owner, Steve, officiate our ceremony and after a short conversation with him about what we wanted he put it together perfectly. It was exactly what we asked for. This venue has two locations on the property to choose from and both are beautiful! We were married at Cheers and had 150 guests. The bridal suite was awesome and has two large rooms connected by a bathroom. The groom and groomsmen do not have an area to get ready in, so we closed off the bathroom on one side and let the guys use the other room. The staff was very careful and took extra measures to make sure my husband and I did not see each other before the ceremony since we were not doing a first look. In addition, the venue worked closely with our DJ, videographer, and photographers constructing a timeline so that everything ran smoothly and as close to schedule as possible. Everything went great and we could not have asked for a better day! Our guests have not stopped talking about our wedding still two weeks later. We have received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was, the incredible organization, the feel of the atmosphere, the food, and how polite the staff members were! Also, a huge shout out to our phenomenal bartenders! You ladies were amazing!!The whole experience with this venue and staff was absolutely wonderful! They listened to what we wanted and gave us exactly what we imaged our day would be. If you want your day perfect with minimal stress, I highly recommend this venue.

First off the venue is stunning we knew right off the bat that this was the venue for us! Our wedding coordinator Shannon was amazing to work with start to finish. She was very communicative and was really quick with her responses. On the wedding day she did an amazing job at keeping the wedding on track and solving any problems we had. We did the brunch station for our meal and it was incredible! All our guest loved the french toast casserole.

Cheers was an amazing venue to deal with from start to finish. They made out wedding day the best day of our lives. Our coordinator, Ashley, helped to make sure the day ran without incident. I highly recommend Cheers to anyone looking for an unforgettable, beautiful wedding day.

Have been to Cheers for many occasions but to experience it for my own wedding was amazing. Not to mention what a relief it is to have a vendor set up and tear down for you. It was so stress free knowing I did not have to worry about all off my belongings at the end of the day. Packaged with care. The location was perfect and beautifully set up to my expectations. I am very detail oriented and they matched exactly what I wanted with no complaints. Everyone seemed happy to assist with making my wedding day so magical. Special thanks to my wedding coordinator Lindsay for great communication back and forth and making the day of so smooth.

The day was magical and the site enhanced it wonderfully. The only draw back was deciding on the menu.

This place is gorgeous and spacious, not to mention reasonably priced considering all you’re getting! It was great having catering, set up, tear down and staff all included with our package. The food was amazing, the staff were helpful and attentive, and our wedding coordinator did an amazing job with executing our dream wedding. There are amazing spots for photo ops and I highly recommend a fall wedding here with the foliage being so vibrant. 10/10

This was the most perfect venue. They did pretty much everything I had to bring my own photographer and dj but they handled everything else even coordinating with my vendors. They set up decorations but the place comes beautifully decorated and you get things like center pieces and such there I chose to bring own. They did tear down and set up and I had 2 different staff members helping me day of to make sure the day was seemless. The food was the best food I've ever had at a wedding. The bacon salad still lives in my dreams. They were pretty affordable for all that's included I recommend them 100%!

I'm not sure where to start, but from start to finish everything was perfect! We loved the invite to attend the food tasting, it was such a hard choice but we were amazed by the cook to order option and our guests loved it. This accommodated all food allergies and gave an option for the gluten free/vegetarian guests without having to alter our menu. We chose to add on the candy bar/snack option, this was a huge hit with the kids (and we had lots of them). The dj they suggested is very familiar with the place, he sang to our guests during the anniversary song, played our music in the ceremony, and even brought the photo booth which was really fun. We loved the gazebo ceremony, Steve who owns the place married us and we could not have been happier with him. Our guests were seated under the open awning which later turned into the dance floor so weather and sun was not a concern. It was nice to have the bar and dinner area away from the dance floor it gave guests an option to talk without loud music. Tonya was our wedding coordinator and she took care of EVERYTHING. (even all my extra decorations :) I could not think of one thing I would change, the outdoor view and landscape was perfect for photographs. We would choose this venue again in a heartbeat!

Cheers Chalet was wonderful for our big day! We had our ceremony down at the lakeside venue and it was beyond beautiful. The staff here and our coordinator, Ashley, did such an amazing job at making sure everything went smoothly. We also had Steve as our officiant and he did wonderful. He even told us to take in the moment when I first got up to the altar, as well as talking me through everything as I was so anxious. 100/10 would definitely recommend to everyone!

We got married at cheers this past October and everything was wonderful! I could not have asked for a better place to get married. From start to finish, the team at Cheers was attentive, responsive, knowledgeable, and professional, and they truly seemed excited about hosting our wedding. With their help and attention to detail, we pulled off an incredibly smooth and, dare I say, flawless wedding. Gorgeous venue! My wedding was stunning. The staff is wonderful, making it a stress free day! They decorated, cleaned up, the food was fantastic, and they really treat you like you are family! If you are looking for a place to capture the perfect picture on your wedding day, this is the place! I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Want a venue that will literally do it all for you? This lovely place has an amazing team that helped me be a very hands off bride. They have 3 different spaces to rent on the property that all come with rentable center pieces, linens and included catering with amazing food. All I did was pick colors and my amazing team put together the room and I didn’t have to do anything! The owner, Steve, ordained our service. They have food tastings and can provided you with trusted vendors for DJ/photography/cake needs.

We picked Cheers Chalet for our wedding because of their beautiful area, the fact that they help with set up to take that stress off our shoulders as well as cater the food. Our wedding day went great, and our family could not stop saying how beautiful everything was. The venue also was very receptive to our questions and had someone assigned to help us figure out timelines, decor, and how we wanted the ceremony to go. Plus the food turned out great and people enjoyed watching the meal be prepped in front of them! It was a great, personalized experience!

Cheers Chalet was an absolutely awesome experience. Everyone at cheers was incredibly nice and they genuinely want to make your wedding day stress free and the memory of a lifetime. The catering was great, they decorated beautifully and exactly what I asked for, and not to mention cheers and lakeside are just gorgeous locations anyways. I would absolutely recommend Cheers to any couples who are looking for that perfect all in one place.

I couldn’t be more happy with how things turned out at this location. The nice thing about it is that they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for every little thing. They’re very reasonably priced and they work with you on everything. I was able to have my ceremony and my reception in the same building, I was provided a bridal suite, they even catered my wedding, and they provided a wedding planner along with table cloths, centerpieces, and flowers. And you don’t see that a lot with wedding vendors. We had an open bar, and the bartender was wonderful, everybody was extremely polite, I even had a malfunction with my dress after the ceremony and they were so kind to help me get it penned up correctly. Everything went smoothly with my wedding and everything looked beautiful, I couldn’t asked for a better place to celebrate!

This was the perfect venue for us. Right from the beginning the planning was so easy and the on-site coordinator helped us with every detail. What I loved most about cheers is how much was included and how they treat you like family. They went out of their way time and time again to make things work for us. On the day of the event the staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests comfortable and everything run smoothly. It’s a little bit of a drive if you’re from Columbus, but it is so worth it!!

Cheers was such a great venue. The owner Steve, was always willing to let us visit, answer questions, and help us out whenever needed. Tanya was our venue coordinator and she was also amazing. She was so flexible and easy to work with. Everyone raved about the pasta saute station after the wedding and the lakeside location. They loved the decorations and all the staff working that day. We are so happy we chose Cheers to help make our day the best one of our lives. I would highly recommend.

This venue is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!... I planned my wedding from another state and I fell in love with the pictures of this place. When I first arrived to the venue it was even better! It was truly magical. The coordinator and the staff were very helpful and knew what they were doing. They are organized which makes the experience very easy and memorable. The lakeside venue was the best place we could have had our wedding. Amazing staff, Steve was great to work with, our coordinator was literally the best. We had a smaller wedding (65/70 guests tops), so everyone had plenty of room to sit, chat and be merry with us, and separating the DJ from the main dining room really kept the atmosphere great. The hall is beautifully decorated, you just need some centerpieces to bring it all together.

We had our wedding in October at the Lakeside venue with our ceremony at the chapel and it could not have been more amazing. Our guests still compliment the food we had at the wedding, even down to the salad. Our coordinator was Lindsay and she was very responsive with the loads of questions I had. She was just a joy to work with overall. Lindsay was so kind and helpful even with all my requests to change things around, she really made sure our day was what we wanted. We booked with Cheers because of the chapel for our ceremony. It was raining all day up until our ceremony and Lindsay still made our dream of getting married at the chapel come true. She was amazing and I would recommend working with her to anyone!

We cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is absolutely incredible, we had Ashley as our coordinator and she's amazing! the food was fantastic, we did the supreme pasta saute and got tons of compliments from our guests. The venue itself is stunning and beautifully decorated and landscaped, I felt like I was in an enchanted forest all night! Truly a dream wedding!

This Pallas was made our night magical. It was so beautiful and they are so helpful with making your day special for you!! Food was delicious, staff was extremely helpful and calming. We fell in love love with the venue at first sight. Everything was perfect. Amazing food choices (pasta bar was phenomenal). We have received nothing but compliments about how beautiful the place was. Ashley was our coordinator and we were happy to have her for the rehearsal and the day of. She was wonderful. Oh and did I mention they have an emu?

Cheers is beautiful! We had the best wedding imaginable out at Cheers! It was positively magical! They worked with us through a pandemic, they answered my many, many questions. And not only did they respond, they did so rather quickly! Making my planning process so much easier! They had us out for a vendor fair, let us try different foods and helped is narrow our options down! They were flexible and just all around wonderful to work with! Bailee was our coordinator at the venue and she is seriously the best!!! The owners spoke with us on several occasions and Tanya was also super helpful!! We loved that the Mongolian feast let our guests with allergies avoid things they can’t have and let our picky eaters avoid what they don’t like!! Everyone is still ranting and raving about how delicious it was and they loved getting to make it their own personal meal!! We are “foodies” and we love to eat! The food at cheers tops all expectations!! We cannot go without saying that the catering staff were also just the best!! They made sure our guests were cared for and were so attentive to us all night! They even brought the appetizer tray out to those of us taking pictures while they were being served in the reception hall!! Honestly the best service around, combined with the best food, I just couldn’t have asked for more!!!

Cheers Chalet is absolutely beautiful. We used the venue for our reception and were so pleased with everything. The wedding coordinator Ashley was great to work with. All of the staff (servers, hostess, decorators, bartenders, parking lot attendants, chefs and kitchen staff, etc.) were helpful and just so cheerful and nice. They set our minds at ease and we were able to just enjoy the evening. They have on-site catering and the food was delicious (we had the carved top sirloin and Tuscan chicken, not to mention appetizers and salads, etc.). Thank you and Cheers!

I cannot put into words how much I love this venue. everybody raved about the beauty of lakeside at Cheers chalet. We were married at chapel in the woods and had our reception at the lakeside. it was gorgeous. dancing out on the covered area with all the beautiful decorations We had our first dance and the gazebo. so many beautiful places for photographs. if you're looking for a beautiful wooded wedding this is your spot.

Our Wedding Day was a dream come true. I truly can say that it was the best day ever. I can not thank Steve, Lindsay and all the staff, enough for making it so absolutely amazing and being such caring and wonderful people. The venue itself is gorgeous and so perfect for either a indoor or outdoor wedding/event. They made it so easy and took so much stress off of myself and my now husband. I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know. Great communication, very friendly and so professional. Again thank you all for everything you did to make our day so special.

100% will recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to hold anything you want to host. The team there is amazing and works with you every step of the way to make sure your vision come alive. They made my wedding unbelievably amazing best day of my life.

Such a beautiful location if you're looking for something wooded and whimsical. I suggest doing a first look at their little a-frame on the water. The staff and owners are so friendly and accommodating. The decorations that come with the dance floor makes it feel magical. We also has our rehearsal dinner there the night before the day of the wedding as well which made it so easy not having to book two different venues.

I picked this location for the amazing view and ease planning. the venue is nicely decorated year with with so many options of things to decorate with. they also handle pretty much everything. I didn't want to stress out coordinating chairs and linens and food and a million other things. i loved having pretty much everything in one place with one contact.

I want to thank everyone at Cheers for making our wedding day absolutely PERFECT and a special thanks to Ashely for being so helpful, she is truly amazing. We had so many compliments on the food, we did the build your own pasta bar, the chefs were great and got everyone through the line quickly. The staff was so helpful day of and did an amazing job setting up and tearing down. Everything was set up exactly how we expected ,I love how we didn’t have to do much decorating, the venue is so beautiful with the lighting and flowers hanging from the ceiling. The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony overlooking the beautiful pond and of course everyone loved the emu. Cheers really helped make our special day absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend them to any upcoming brides and grooms.

Our experience with Cheers Chalet was incredible. We booked our venue before COVID and Cheers made sure that if we couldn't have the wedding we wanted, they would help move our wedding at no cost. However, we did not need to move our day and had the most perfect day we could ask for. We had our ceremony at the chapel in the woods. My husband and I are nature-holics and dreamed of a boho wedding. This ceremony spot was beyond perfect. With the lights hangoing in the trees and the smells of the trees and the lake, there was very little "decoration" that we needed to do to pull off this boho wedding. In addition to, we had the reception at the lakeside venue, which we also had to do very little because the space is permanently decorated with beautiful lighting, leaves, and branches that pulls the nature into every aspect of the night. Midway through the night, we had a bonfire and guests were able to spread out into the woods and lake or they could get down with us on the dance floor. This was perfect, especially with a pandemic going on. Penny and Steve are absolutely amazing and truely care about every wedding they have on their property. The week of the wedding, there was a water break in the lakeside venue and Penny immediately scrambled to find a fix so that we could make our day possible. Also, our coordinator Bailee and the rest of the Cheers crew spent countless emails and phone calls to help us plan this day right. We decided to do the pasta bar, and let me just say I've received so many compliments about it. Between the show of watching the servers flip pans through fire and the quality of the food was too notch. This was perfect for all types of eating preferences, including mine which is vegan. We also had the fajitas at the rehearsal, and my mouth is still watering thinking about them. Most venues supply a small room for a bridal suite. Cheers had an entire small house with two rooms and a bathroom that we were able to do touch ups in. And it was decorated with care. We took photos both before and after the ceremony. There was no shortage of great backdrops including beautiful flower gardens, woods, ponds, lakes and even an Emu!

My son recently got married at Cheers Lakeside. It was the perfect day. Bailey and her staff were amazing. The ceremony sight was just what my son and daughter-in-law dreamed of. The reception area was very inviting and lovely. I am a wedding planner and was so very impressed with the staff and owners. They made me feel welcome as a planner and a mother. Our friends are still talking about it two months later.

I am not exaggerating when I say my wedding day could not have been anymore perfect. Of course my other vendors played a big part too, but Cheers is an amazing venue! Not only is it beautiful, but the staff are all very kind and helpful, and very responsive to questions (and I had a million). We got married at the lakeside gazebo and the ceremony space is beautifully decorated, as is the reception hall. I felt like I barely needed my own decorations! Also, catering is included with the price of the venue, and the food is amazing as well. AND you get a wedding coordinator to help navigate you through the day and keep you on schedule, which was so helpful. I literally could go on and on about this place, but I definitely recommend it to anyone. It is very unique and I loved that it wasn't a barn/country style, which I feel like is very common in my area (but just not my style). You won't regret getting married here!!

This venue had an extremely poor response to COVID. With a severely immune-compromised mother, and a family that has a lot of elderly, I expected a more sympathetic response. I had reached out to the venue at the beginning of covid voicing my concerns, in which they explained they weren’t rebooking for my date. By the time they would’ve began rebooking for my dates, Ohio laws had been changed back to allow large wedding receptions. We did not feel comfortable hosting 150 guests and we tried desperately to work with the venue on a smaller wedding. The venue was going to hold us to our minimum which would’ve covered 150 guests, regardless of what size we felt comfortable with. They stated because the state allowed it they are not contractually obligated to make exceptions. Only when I said I was going to be cancelling my booking did they offer an alternative date, only Friday winter dates, despite paying for a summer Saturday (double the cost). We were willing to push it until 2021 but they would not give us the option. We decided to cancel our booking. We know we signed a contract stating no refunds but we never dreamed a pandemic would hit. We had been making payments for nearly 8 months and they refused to give us any percent of our money back. Once again I tried to be understanding and work with them, we were okay with losing the deposit. But they took and kept the payments we had made for food, bar, and service knowing they would not be providing them. They kept thousands of dollars. It was extremely disappointing. If you are booking during COVID, I would be prepared if anything unexpected happens, they will not be willing to work with you.

We had our wedding down at Lakeside. This venue was the perfect mix of rustic elegance! The lights, the stars and the decorations made our wedding a dream. We cannot say enough good things about Cheers Chalet and we would encourage all brides to get married at Cheers!

I'll try and keep this as short and sweet as I can. Cheers Chalet is a diamond in the rough! I can't remember how my wife and I found cheers, as Lancaster was a little bit more "destination" distance for us. To be honest we didn't really have a good idea of what the venue had to offer based on their website, so we decided to at least take a visit. As we pulled up, we still weren't sure of the place ... after 10-15 minutes of touring with Steve (the owner) my wife fell in love with it, and we were handing Steve a check for the deposit. I don't need to go through all of the details, but the staff made our wedding seamless! We had quite a bit of our own decorations, and we dropped everything off the day before and the staff had everything perfectly in it's place for the day, we didn't have to do a thing! All that was left for us to do was enjoy our beautiful wedding! If you want an affordable price tag, with a dream-come-true experience, Cheers Chalet is the place! Thank you so much to Steve, Penny, and their wonderful staff!

Staff worked with us through the pandemic to help us plan an entirely outdoor and socially distanced wedding. We drastically changed our original wedding plans but they were with us every step of the way. Great staff and management. Food was fantastic. Venue is beautiful.

We can not say enough about what a great experience we had at Cheers Chalet! Getting married during a pandemic was obviously not ideal but our coordinators Olivia and Bailey kept us in the loop and made our wedding day so perfect and special that we didn't have any stress, questions, or huge changes that altered our day. The food was great, the service was great, and the venue is beautiful. They were also very welcoming and accepting of our same sex wedding and never batted an eye. Highly, Highly recommend!
