WOW WOW WOW! We got married at The Riviera in Lake Geneva on May 31, 2025, and choosing Chef David's as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made! They were on the venue’s approved list, and from our very first interaction, their communication stood out—they were quick to respond, super helpful, and offered thoughtful guidance based on their experience. At our tasting, we absolutely fell in love with the food. Still, I couldn’t help but wonder how they’d be able to recreate that same deliciousness for over 100 guests. Somehow, they made it even better on our wedding day! We served a duet plate with chicken and sirloin, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables, and we received nonstop compliments. So many guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. There was even a transition in our point of contact leading up to the big day, which could have been stressful—but Stephanie immediately hopped on a call with me and put all my worries to rest. Her professionalism and warmth meant the world to me. We also used their bartender since our venue didn’t have a liquor license, and she was fantastic—friendly, efficient, and on top of everything. Chef David’s truly went above and beyond. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

All recipes can be altered to fit your dietary needs, allowing each guest to enjoy this delicious fare. Delivery set up, and service will be provided by Chef David and his team so you can relax and enjoy this one-of-a-kind meal.

o respond to an email. Our tasting went seamless and of course the food was amazing. They were open and honest regarding wanting to change our salad from Caesar to fresh garden so that it was not wilting with the Caesar dressing on it in the hot weather. They knew that I loved the macaroni and cheese bites, so they conducted an experiment to make sure they would be fresh and crispy still after the commute to our venue … and they were perfect!!! Katie, the event manager, was always in communication with us and gave us excellent recommendations for exactly how much plastic plates, paper napkins, and silverware to order for our group of guests…she was spot on we had very little leftover!! Now to the wedding … they were amazing and so very organized. The appetizers were consistently flowing out and I was told how amazing they all were (plus made sure I got a plate of the mac and cheese bites!!). They served my husband and my plates to us at the head table and then released each table at a time to make sure no one had to stand in line for a really long time. The food was delicious, warm, and portions were served just right … every one of the guests said it was wonderful. We would highly recommend them to anyone!!

They were the ones to help me make the decision to postpone our wedding due to COVID by offering real advice, not just pushing me one way or the other. f David took the time to speak with us about the kind of food we liked, what we wanted to serve to our guests, etc and then we were able to build our menu with his input which made our tasting such a great experience. Chef David was there the whole time during our tasting - he explained each course, how it was prepared as it was brought out and he made sure we were happy with our choices before we left. The food on our wedding day was amazing. Our guests loved the choices and we were still getting comments about how good it was well over a week after our wedding! Great experience, great service all around. Highly recommend.
