down included was invaluable to me. Whenever I thought I had an issue, or wasn't sure what to do, Jan had solutions for everything imaginable. They have receptions down to a science, and are very flexible and accommodating. As for the price -- it is worth every penny. The food and service were amazing, and we got many compliments from guests. We had a great experience working with Chenoweth, and I would whole-heartedly recommend them for anyone! P.S. Get the added photo booth. It is so fun and guests LOVE it

ar, linens, flatware, up lighting, decorations you can use at no charge, Jan serves as your day of coordinator, and they even have their own photo booth that is so much cheaper than bringing in an outside vendor. They set up and clean up everything, and have nice suites for brides and grooms to get ready in! They also offer outdoor and indoor ceremony options. The food is delicious! We had several guests rave about it, and we agree, this is not typical “banquet hall food”, they really serve genuinely delicious food. Chenoweth even cuts your cake at no charge (while that may not sound like a big deal, most vendors in the area will charge to cut wedding cake). The staff are all very friendly and you will not find a better team to help you navigate wedding planning. Jan was there every step of the way with kindness and organization. We had to postpone twice due to COVID, and Jan was always so sweet and accommodating. Sandy did an amazing job bringing our decorating vision to life! Quite simply, Chenoweth is the perfect place to get married and have a reception. They know what they are doing, and you will have nothing to worry about on your big day! t were amazing to say the least including the bartender! Jan, the event coordinator at Chenoweth helped us through the entire process and never left any detail out. She had ideas as well as Darla and then if we had an idea, they immediately ran with it and did everything they could to make sure that our night was perfect and what WE want. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reception venue. One amazing thing that I loved was that they have a lot of decor that you can use if you want. Also, we were able to drop off all the decorations we had and then do a walk through a couple days before the wedding and THEY SET IT ALL UP AND TEAR IT ALL DOWN! I mean, what more could a bride ask for?? They do a tasting so that you know what your ordering for your guests too! Thank you Jan and the rest of the staff at Chenoweth for making our day and night unbelievable :)

The facility is beautiful and Jan’s team is very on top of things, often offering suggestions about things I hadn’t even thought of yet. Through all the usual stress of a wedding, Jan and her team had me feeling completely confident that the event would run smoothly - and it did! We were truly able to enjoy our wedding and reception without worrying about any details during the event. Chenoweth is a beautiful facility, perfect for weddings and receptions. They have space available for the wedding party to get ready, and there is a gazebo and lake outside where pictures can be taken. We had a sunny day so were able to get some photos outside, even in March. Chenoweth was able to provide almost all of the decorations. They have a wide selection of table cloths, napkins, centerpieces, cake stands, table numbers and other wedding decorations available for use, and we were able to select lovely decorations from their inventory. The only additional decorations we secured were chair covers and sashes. The food was delicious and prepared on site, and again they were happy to accommodate any special requests we had. We were even able to have our rehearsal dinner there! They also work to accommodate your wedding budget. I highly recommend Chenoweth for your wedding – you will so enjoy working with Jan throughout the planning process and the actual event. you know you can use their table numbers, glassware and other decorations. Once you book, you’ll have a tasting day, where you pick out the menu and can see all the decorations available for your use (hint, it’s a lot). Then, you’ll have a decorating meeting. They’ll show you all the different options they have for decorations, centerpieces, table numbers, napkins, etc. Darla, who is also equally as fabulous, will help you figure out what looks good. Did I mention they set EVERYTHING up for you?!! Yes, everything. The week before the wedding, you bring all your decorations up and pay the final bill. I brought up some extra decorations and told them to put them where they thought fit best. And they found spectacular places!!! The day of was calm, drama-free and went off without a hitch. I cannot thank Jan, Darla and the entire staff for helping with the best day of my life. One last thing, Chenoweth is by far the most affordable venue I found in the Akron-Canton area. You definitely get your money’s worth by having your wedding here!!! 10/10 recommend!

m at Chenoweth and even our guests were commenting on how amazing the staff was there. They were that good. Additionally, the golf course is beautiful and the interior is very elegant with great lighting and decor. The food is phenomenal and far surpasses any wedding food I have ever had. The food & drinks are worth every penny, and in my opinion are extremely reasonable (in some cases MUCH cheaper) compared to other catering services and venues. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was. I was always told horror stories about how stressful wedding planning is and how much works goes in to it - which I do believe is true - however I think if you pick the right vendors, your stress will be DRASTICALLY decreased. This was basically my experience with Chenoweth in a nutshell. They simply had everything you could want. They have the staff, food, drinks, linens, decor, etc. The only two things you have to find are a DJ and photographer. Your wedding day is arguably one of the biggest days of your life, and Jan and Darla honestly became a part of that for me and I simply cannot thank them enough.

as married on one side of the banquet hall with the curtain pulled down the middle. After ceremony they had the other side set up in less than 10 minutes! Dance floor is in the middle of room that makes the viewing easy for everyone. Not a fan of the rude owner, but hopefully you will only have to deal with him when making the payment. Was concerned when my original planner was let go and i was never informed, but Darla ended up being great. I would recommend to a friend.
