I couldn't imagine our wedding without Felicia and Cherry Blossom. Our day was magical, and that was largely due to Felicia's talents, hard work, diligence, communication, perspective, thought, and inspiration. She truly made our day everything we could have ever dreamed of. From the very beginning meeting for venue tours we knew she was the one to take charge of our vision. She immediately worked to get to know my husband and I, as well as our families, knowing down the road it would mean so much to be able to gear our day to the way our we would enjoy the celebration with our specific guests and families. She immediately coordinated vendors and communicated all needs, anticipated obstacles and timeline, and executed our plan and weekend flawlessly. She anticipated weather, road closures, deliveries, headaches, traditions, photos, music and more. She was warm, excited, realistic, and supportive of both us and our vendor teams, which made for the most wonderful teamwork and execution. There is an unbelievable amount of planning and discussion that goes into coordinated multiple teams of people with their own specialties. Months to years of work all to come together for a 6+ hours of an event and work seamlessly, and Felicia the woman for the job. I couldn't recommend her enough as I felt that she wasn't only there for our needs and wants, but for our lifetime memories of the greatest day of our lives. This review is hard to write because I do not think words can sum up just how incredible it was to work with Alison from CBWE. We actually hired another planner who flat out told us we cannot get married in the DC area with the budget that we had so we had to fire her. We quickly had a meeting with Alison and she immediately put our mind to ease. Each step of the way, Alison was incredibly professional, creative, organized, communicative and open to all ideas. She recommended incredible vendors and also was open to new ones. Planning our wedding truly felt like a breeze. She handled all family dynamics with pose and nothing made her bat an eye. On the wedding day, everything went PERFECT. She is so incredible patient, from the load in to load out, she had every detail and part of the day under control! Her timeline was impeccable, there was no stress whatsoever. She understood our vision and it came to life better than we could have ever dreamed. Best money you will ever spend!!

Felicia and the entire Cherry Blossom team are incredible. Working with Felicia was the first decision I made in wedding planning, and it was the best decision! We worked with Felicia in the partial planning capacity for a 135 person wedding at the National Arboretum, and it was perfect for our needs - she was alongside us for every decision, whether it a vendor she was managing for us or not, making sure everything would come together cohesively for the wedding. As a result, I had such a wonderful experience in the wedding planning process and was able to enjoy every aspect of the year we were engaged with very little stress. We worked with Jamie Smith for our September 2022 wedding—hiring her for our wedding was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Jamie honestly made our year and a half long planning process easy and fun. She went above and beyond to check-in regularly and helped us work through the process slowly so that it never felt overwhelming. As we got closer to the wedding, she handled every issue, big or small, that came up. Our wedding day itself was flawless and stress-free. My husband and I were able to really enjoy the day without worrying about logistics or other details, which was such a gift. I cannot say enough good things about Jamie and the Cherry Blossom team—our wedding was perfect and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

When we began our wedding journey, the first thing I did was interview planners. Our wedding had some very specific needs and complexities from the start, so we needed someone up for the task. When I first met Alison at CBWE, the first thing I thought to myself was "we could be friends". Extremely professional, detail-oriented and up for the challenge, I hired Alison and CBWE right away. Our wedding was beyond our dreams. Alison and I planned every detail meticulously, with Alison always ready to offer her opinion if I asked, but always honoring my vision. CBWE has tons of experience and a great network of vendors to recommend. I trusted Alison and her team completely. Our wedding was very complex, with dozens of vendors and Alison managed them all and kept everyone organized and on track, and on budget. Our actual wedding day was flawless. Not a single issue. Alison, CBWE owner Alex and the rest of the staff were a pleasure to work with and have onsite with us. You want CBWE on your team when you plan the wedding of your dreams!

Our wedding would not have been possible with Alison as a wedding planner. I struggled with the idea of spending money on a planner, but I assure you it worth it. The ability to enjoy your own wedding and guests is the best gift of all. That is what Alison did us. She helped us plan a wedding during Covid, all while we were living in another state. She took our scattered ideas and inspirations and made them into a reality- perhaps better! She managed all of my emotions and stress (because it is real!) and made it a truly enjoyable experience. Where do I even begin... Alison Golt was the absolute best addition to my wedding and I still cannot thank her enough for making my day so magical! As many other brides know, planning your wedding is one of the most stressful things a person can go through and on top of that the world was shut down and there was all this uncertainty with hosting our big day. We originally were scheduled to hold our wedding at the Women's Museum on 10/3/2020 but due to COVID has to make a drastic change. Alison did not skip a beat, she had already made calls to all of our vendors and was able to have them switch their entire plan on a dime. Not only did our day change to 3.13.21 but also our venue. Which Alison did not even flinch when I was crazy about trying to keep all the ideas and selections we had made. The day of the wedding she was even more impressed. I was a nervous wreck and of course the slightest thing made me emotional ( I was marrying the most perfect man and I had butterflies all day) and Alison was right there to hold my hand through it all and make sure that the day went off without a hitch! I truly cannot say enough good things about her and how amazing she is as well as her staff! Thank you!

My husband and I are BEYOND happy that we hired Felicia with Cherry Blossom to be our day of wedding coordinator. We were very hands on with the wedding planning process and wondered if we even needed a day of coordinator -- and wow, we made the right decision!! Our whole day was executed perfectly thanks to Felicia! She helped us iron out the many logistical questions we had in the week leading up to the wedding, put together a timeline that kept the day together, and above all, we were able to enjoy our wedding without a worry in the world. Felicia was a pro and so wonderful to work with -- always very responsive and went above and beyond to make meetings with vendors. We'd highly recommend her and the Cherry Blossom team to any couple!

Hiring Alison Golt was such an amazing decision! We found her through our wedding venue, the National Museum of Women in the Arts; on our initial call, we were so impressed by her level of preparation, organization, and detail. In the leadup to the wedding, she found us amazing vendors and worked with them to build our vision for the event. On the day of the wedding, she was just incredible, handling things big and small (including sewing my sister back into her dress). It's certainly true that Alison made wedding planning much less stressful, and it's also true that our wedding was way more beautiful and fun because of Alison's hard work. We can't imagine a better planner!

I was required to have a day of planner for my venue while doing some research I found that most coordinators don't have a 'day of' package they have 'month of', however Cherry Blossom Events had a '6 week' package which was fantastic! Upon having my first conversation with Alison I could tell she was extremely organized, professional and fun to work with! Her experience in event management in prestigious buildings in the DC area was perfect for mine and my venues needs. Having Alison alongside me during the planning phase was critical to getting all of my details done. She was instrumental in scheduling all of my vendors, delivering welcome bags for my hotel guests and the set up and take down of the decor is worth the price alone! Myself and the groom as well as our families and friends we able to enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about staying behind to pack up or come early to set up. Everything was beautiful and I am so happy with the end result and all of Alison's hard work!

The best thing I did for planning my wedding was to hire a planner, and that is my first and best piece of advice to any newly engaged couple- even if it is a day of coordinator- they are worth every penny. That is especially true for Andrea and her team at Cherry Blossom Events. We were lucky enough to work with her during our entire wedding planning process and she is simply perfect. She is organized, sweet, has a solution for everything, can handle any question (at any time), and is genuinely happy to greet you with a huge hug every time you see her. We were planning a wedding from across the country, and Andrea made sure it was as easy as possible. She organized vendors and meetings for when we were in town, and if we couldn’t make them she was our stand in person. It really says somethings about a planner when every single other vendor in our wedding had nothing but praise for them- and that is absolutely what happened for us. Every other vendor we talked to told us that there would be no problems because Andrea would take care of them and it was totally true. Andrea and her staff not only set up our entire wedding day but then also stayed to take it down and had smiles on their faces all day long. It really was just like having another family member there for our big day. I would not have changed one thing about hiring Andrea and we cannot express our gratitude and pleasure with how everything turned out. Andrea and her team at Cherry Blossom events are a must have for any bride.

Wow, where do we even begin?! Our wedding planner was Elizabeth, and we are SO incredibly thankful for her services. To say that she was amazing is an understatement, and to give her only 5 stars seems, well, almost criminal. From our first meeting with her, Elizabeth was professional, responsive, and completely dedicated, and her attention to detail was truly remarkable. For over a year, throughout the entire planning process, from that first meeting until the end of our ceremony, we never really worried about a thing. And in the end, it was, of course, the perfect wedding. If you think that I'm exaggerating, let me just tell you: Elizabeth is THAT good. I promise you, if you hire her as your wedding planner, it will be the best, smartest decision of your whole wedding. There's so much more I could write here -- about the countless venues she researched, vendors she contacted, details she coordinated, and issues she resolved -- but I hope I've made my point. And to Elizabeth, thank you so much!

An Event Planner that Allows You to Enjoy Your Own Wedding Day! Alex and her team at Cherry Blossom Events are everything I wanted and needed in a wedding planner! From start to finish, they were responsive, timely, patient, and just downright experts in making sure that every aspect of our wedding went off well. Alex was the wedding planner for my sister’s wedding five years ago, and she and the team have only gotten better at what they do since then. For every vendor they helped us with, they gave us a handful of options within our budget and within our design ideas, allowed us to narrow down the choices and negotiated our meeting with the vendors. They asked the vendors the questions we didn’t know to ask, and went to bat for us every time there was something we really wanted or were unsure of with a vendor. Even for those vendors that they didn’t negotiate for us, they would always provide us with a starter list of options or vendors they knew of so we could at least start off on the right foot. It was like having someone read these types of reviews – for you! They thought of every single detail that we didn’t know to think of and provided a day-of timeline that pulled in every detail of the wedding. For the day of, they added in extra help to make sure our transportation from multiple hotels went off without any problems and coordinated with every vendor, even the ones they didn’t negotiate for us. We didn’t have a typical ceremony so there was no officiant to run the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Alex and the team swooped right in and got everyone organized, kept unruly groomsmen in line and got us in and out of rehearsal on time and with three run-throughs done. They handled every last minute issue like it was no problem and kept the entire day of events going. I truly felt like I enjoyed my wedding day, didn’t have to worry about what was going on with the DJ, the caterer, the transportation, nothing. At one point I wanted to change my shoes and in a flash one of the team had my other pair right there, switched them out with the ones I was wearing and they were gone. Your wedding day, is YOUR wedding day. Alex and her team provide a service that is PRICELESS – no hassle, no worries, and a stress free wedding day. I truly don’t know how they did it all, but I am forever grateful for their work.

We used Cherry Blossom Wedding & Events for our day-of coordination service. Chantal was our coordinator, and was fantastic. She attending our tasting before her "month before" the wedding contract began, and helped us with all the last minute items that needed to be taken care of. The day of the wedding, she made sure that everything ran perfectly. My family and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would strongly recommend them.

We couldn't have pulled off our wedding without Alex. Not only did she take the majority of the stress out of the wedding planning process, but she made our wedding day all about fun allowing us and our friends and family to simply enjoy the day without having to worry about all of the logistical details, which there are a ton of. My husband and I would say that investing in a wedding planner (we went with Alex's partial planning package) was probably the best decision we made. She saved us time and money, and was a much needed source of information during the sometimes overwhelming wedding planning process. We would highly recommend her.

Best money I ever spent. The wedding went off flawlessly in large part thanks to her help. Not only did we have a perfect wedding, but I was relaxed knowing that someone else was making sure it all went off. Alex was professional, walked me through the whole process, didn't make me feel like a fool for all the details I hadn't even thought of, and handled our one crisis--a DJ who showed up over an hour late--so smoothly that I never even knew it happened until well after the wedding; she didn't tell us until my husband was about to pay the guy (in case we wanted to factor that in tipping). She was also good at moving everyone through the ceremony without seeming bossy or offensive (complaints I've heard about other coordinators). I'm not planning on getting married again, but if I had a big event, I'd use her in a heartbeat.
