r parents all agreed, so we booked it, and could not be any happier with our choice. The stunning bar and gorgeous ballroom, paired with the Hampton Inn located immediately next door are the biggest selling points. Besides the features of the property itself, the coordinator, Amy, is phenomenal. She made us feel like we were the only clients she was working with anytime we had a question or meeting. She responds very quickly, which I greatly appreciated. The reception itself, as far as I know, went off without a hitch and we’ve had SO many compliments on the food. Everything was absolutely delicious. It rained the entire time we took pictures, so we didn’t get any on the golf course, but the front awning area made a pretty backdrop and there are very nice spaces inside for photos as well. I have heard no negative comments and I have nothing bad to say about this venue. If you don’t mind that it’s not in the city, I highly, highly recommend checking it out.

For brides who are looking to have a lot of things included in one package (food, beverage, chairs, tables, cutlery, linens, etc), this is the one! The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous and you can't beat the view! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

reception in the ballroom. The venue is breathtaking. The service is spectacular and the food was excellent! Beyond that, the director of event sales, Amy Workman is AMAZING at what she does! Our day would not have been as perfect as it was without her! She made the planning process easy and enjoyable. She is very professional, prompt and extremely knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to accommodate any and all requests and made sure that every little detail was taken care of. The whole staff were truly wonderful. We are also so thankful to the food and beverage manager Kevin Bridge, and Kim Chee who did a wonderful job on our cake and cupcakes! Thank you for everything!

n here turned out to be perfect in every way. The food was absolutely delicious, the ballroom was gorgeous, and all of our guests had a wonderful time. We are still receiving compliments on the food and scenery! We even took the after-party to the Spike Bar downstairs and kept the party going! Amy, the wedding coordinator was very accommodating and absolutely invaluable in the planning process. She responded very quickly to all of our questions and was very helpful as we kept changing our minds throughout the process. On the big day, she orchestrated everything flawlessly. Having the hotel directly beside the resort is a great added bonus! We were able to spend the night there and come back the morning after to clean everything up. t the Hilton hotel is just a few steps away. The service at both the hotel and the reception were stellar. The planning process was simplified for us, and we enjoyed planning our day! Our photos turned out beautiful even on a snowy March day, which made them really unique and breathtaking. We would highly recommend Chestnut Ridge resort.

The food was great, accommodations being right next door was amazing and all of our guests had such a great time! Beautiful venue, great staff and very affordable! We never had an issue reaching the event coordinator and Katie always responded quickly to our requests and questions. She was put all of us at ease the second we arrived to decorate and set up the day before the wedding. I knew that I did not need to worry about a single thing and that Katie would have everything covered. The food was beyond amazing too! Katie made sure that the dietary needs of our families were met for both the rehearsal and reception and everyone raved about their dinners and breakfast! Overall, Chestnut Ridge was the best decision we could have made for the value, the look, and the amenities they offered.

afely. The Hampton Inn is literally a few steps away the buildings are almost connected and this made the entire weekend more enjoyable. My fiance and his groomsmen and dad golfed twice over the weekend and were able to relax. There is a spa on site that I treated my bridesmaids to pedicures and we all had our hair done with sandwiches and mimosas served the morning of the wedding. This resort is really a one stop shop and the scenery is amazing. I received at least a dozen compliments on my classy choice of venue for our wedding day and the whole weekend was memorable. The service was great on both the end of the hotel and the staff at Chestnut Ridge.

Our ceremony was onsite on the golf course and the backdrop of the course and mountains was beautiful. The reception was held in the ballroom and they have a large separate bar that our guests loved. We received so many compliments on our venue and I would recommend the Chestnut Ridge to anyone planning a wedding!

the giant chandeliers and paintings in the room. It made the room look very elegant. They provide their own catering and the food is delicious which was a plus and they give you a lot of different options. Katie who is in charge of the weddings there was absolutely amazing and so helpful with everything. Anytime I needed her she was only just a phone call or email away. She was the main reason my wedding day turned out perfect. She made sure everything ran smoothly. I wouldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else.

ly issue we had was the wedding coordinator changed several times so we ended up working with 3 different people during the time that we were planning our wedding but everyone got on the same page and everything worked itself out. The value and convenience of this venue can't be beat-having both the ceremony and reception here, the hotel right next door for our guests to stay, the food, linens, cake..eliminates the need for many other vendors. Overall we were very satisfied and so glad we decided to have our wedding here!

I was worried about this but it ended up working out perfectly. The only real compliant I had was the really over cooked the filet. We asked them to prepare it medium rare and most came out well done. Other than that the day was perfect.

course. There were so many beautiful picture opportunities! We planned on having the cocktail hour on the patio, but made a last minute decision to move it indoors since it was a hot day. During the cocktail hour, the bridal party rode on golf carts to get some pictures around the course. The reception was beautiful. There are large gold doors that the bridal party was introduced from. We had around 150 guests and sat 8 at a table and it filled the space perfectly. There is a huge bar that is in a separate room with open windows. We extended the wedding by half an hour at the end of the night and then took the party to the bar on the golf course. There is a hotel right next door, so no one had to worry about driving home after a night of drinking! The wedding coordinator, Amy, was so amazing to work with! She was very attentive to detail and really made sure that the day was flawless! She was so helpful in the planning process and very quick to respond to any questions that we had. I can't say enough great things about this venue! It was perfect!

ad the nicest things to say about the cocktail hour, reception, and the hotel stay. If I did it all over again I would still have my reception at Chestnut Ridge and would highly recommend them for a wedding venue or any other elegant formal event. However, we had an outdoor cocktail hour and a collapsed tent, which was quite an eye sore, was not removed from the grounds or from the sight of my guests. Also, the wedding coordinator was not available in the morning for room set up, which caused some confusion. Above all, the spa and salon was most upsetting. They sent me a letter to receive a complementary bridal hair pretrial. I was wrong to think that this meant the stylist would actually practice a style on my hair. Instead, one month before my wedding day, my MOH and I drove an hour to listen to the stylist's work history and the promises he made for my wedding day for nearly 3 hours. My hair was never actually done. The stylist assured me he would have plenty of time on my wedding day to undo my hair and try another style if I didn't like the first one. In addition to this, my MOH also had a pretrial appointment scheduled for the same time as mine (that was not complimentary), however, neither the stylist or the receptionist were aware of the appointment and didn't do her hair either! We were left very confused. On my wedding day, I told the stylist that I didn't like a part of how he had done my hair and he told me that there wasn't enough time to change it and that is just the way it is. There was nothing I could do. Had I known better, I would have gladly paid to have a REAL hair pretrial. Don't make the same mistake, it's worth it to pay the money for the peace of mind. At least my mother and my bridesmaids were happy with their hair stylists.

My bridal party had their hair and makeup done by the spa and salon services which was also amazing. I cannot give enough good praises for Dan and Natalie Dunlop standing with my husband and me every step of the way. I would recommend this venue to anyone near the area.

provide an exciting entrance for the bridal party. The view from the wall of windows is gorgeous, and at night, reflects the crystal lights and candles. The beautiful bar is in a connecting room...and there is a connecting patio...making for room for guests to roam around and be comfortable. The appetizers, dinner buffet and chocolate fountain were EXCELLENT! The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The grounds and golf course provide excellent photo ops...so no need to go elsewhere for photos. The Hampton Inn on the Property provides beautiful overnight accommodations for your guests, bridal party, etc. No need for anyone to drive after the reception. Ceremonies can even be performed there as well. I have NO COMPLAINTS at all and would recommend this venue to any bride in the area.

akeup, and nails at the salon and the guys enjoyed a round of golf the morning of the wedding. We did pictures before the ceremony, and they let us take a golf cart all around the golf course, which was great because we got some amazing shots. The ceremony was outdoors on the greens, and the setup was great....very neat and very scenic. The reception was great....the ballroom looked beautiful and the food was great. We got many compliments on how nice everything was. They really take a lot of the stress of planning off since they take care of so much. Definitely recommend.

o had our ceremony in the Crystal Terrace, which turned out great since it was a rainy day! The food was also spectacular (crab stuffed chicken with champagne sauce and rosemary roasted beef tenderloin). What was most surprising was that I got a lot of compliments from guests about how great the service was, which usually isn't something you hear at a wedding, since the vast numbers of people means service tends to be less personal. But the waiters were great, even offering to get people drinks from the bar. Honestly, I wouldn't have changed a thing about our reception location!

urrounded by beautiful mountains and landscape. We had endless photo opportunities. Everyone who attended our reception raved (and continues to rave) about the food and the view. The best part about our whole experience was the quality of service and the value--very reasonable!

her all day. She didn't bring me our bouquets until moments before we walked down the aisle and no one gave my family memebers coursages or boutineers. Also, there was a lot of confusion on where everyone was supposed to be prior to the ceremony since the coordinator left early on the day of the rehersal. However, other than a few flaws, the ceremony and reception was gorgeous, the food was excellent and everyone was happy. There is a salon and hotel on sight,which is one of the biggest perks!
