I recently used Cloud9 Limo for my wedding on June 14, 2024. They were so helpful with any questions and making sure they had all the details correct. On our wedding day, we had a blast with dancing and celebrating! Thank you!

Do not hire this company! Absolutely rude drivers and management. We hired Cloud 9 to drive our wedding party around for pictures, to the venue, and then to come back in the evening and shuttle people back to the hotel. First, they refused to accept my Apple credit card because it doesn't have numbers on it (for security). The only way they would accept payment the day of was with a photograph of your ID and credit card, or cash. Really? You can't process a credit card without me giving a sketchy driver a photo of my ID and credit card? We came up with another credit card after having our wedding rudely interrupted by the driver and thought it was fine. Fast forward to the evening of the wedding. Cloud9 proceeded to call our wedding planner incessantly saying we hadn't paid them. At the end of the night, when the trolley was meant to shuttle our guests back to the hotel, we were told that we hadn't paid and they were leaving without us. On top of that they got the timing of the shuttle service wrong and tried to rush us out of the venue early. Not something you want to have to deal with on your wedding day! We finally got to the driver and showed him the charge on our credit card... they had been paid all along and made a giant fiasco out of nothing because they were greedy and impatient. Please, anyone planning a wedding, do not give a penny to these people--there are many better options out there run by much better people!

Synopsis: Our terse morning driver was bleeding from the head & yelled at members or our wedding party regarding payment. Our evening driver threatened to leave our remaining guests, wedding party, bride & groom because he did not read the schedule provided by our wedding planner & AGAIN thought he had not been paid when he had. I am giving 1 star for the clean & pretty trolley, but the humans involved made for an honestly terrible overall experience. I would NEVER recommend Cloud9 for an important event. Our major issue with Cloud9 was attempting to pay them, despite a contract & down payment from us. They make prepaying quite inconvenient, so we figured with everything else going on, no big deal we will hand them a card on the day. We tried to do this, however, they had no way to accept payment, were not able to process the apple card & therefore wanted to take pictures of our credit card & IDs (uncomfortable). They then demanded a different card, which we provided. However since we had now provided my Father in Laws card & the ID was my husbands, they had a melt down about this as well instead of calming solving it. They angrily called our wedding planner incessantly. Yelled at members of our wedding party, including the groom, during photos. After this was “resolved” & paid (keeping in mind that they are walking away with digital images of our IDs & credit cards..) this information was not communicated with our evening driver, who was AGAIN demanding payment from my Father in Law in front of a trolley full of guests. The driver even THREATENED TO LEAVE our remaining guests, wedding party, bride & groom because he thought he had not been paid when he had & he ALSO had our scheduled times wrong. My Father in Law had to pull up his account statement & show it to the driver in order for him to take us home AT THE CONTRACTED & PAID FOR TIME. Our venue closed at 12, we scheduled our additional two hour time (for MORE MONEY, a part of our signed contract from months before the wedding) from 10:15-12:15. The driver insisted that we should have been back at the hotel by 12 & again threatened to leave. All of this, coupled with an unfriendly, bleeding morning driver leads me to this review. The trolley itself was beautiful, it is a shame that it was absolutely ruined by our experience with Cloud9 employees. Do NOT entrust them with any important events.

We rented a trolley to provide transportation for our groomsmen and our hotel guests, as well as a car to take us home at the end of the night. Max was great to work with, from making the initial reservation to making multiple adjustments as our plans solidified, and our transportation was right on schedule throughout our wedding day. Cloud 9 was also the most affordable transportation vendor we considered, and we appreciate the bang we got for our buck!

Cloud 9 was incredible to work with for our wedding. Max was responsive throughout the booking process, and answered all of our questions. They were timely on the big day. The driver, Claudia, was fantastic, friendly and professional. We could not ask for anything more! We will use Cloud 9 for all of our big events!

Cloud 9 was fantastic to work with for our wedding transportation needs - we used them not only for our wedding party party bus - but also booked two 50-person buses to transport our attendees between our ceremony and reception venues. Naturally, coordinating 3 large vehicles for specific arrival/departure times in Chicago traffic made us rather nervous, but the Cloud 9 team was ON IT for the duration of our time with them - each bus arrived nice and early, stayed in great communication with our planner, and really left us with a flawless transportation experience - the quality of the buses both inside and out were wonderful, and the prices were the best in the market from our experience - we'd be thrilled to recommend them to anyone for transportation needs big and small!

Although we did not get the bus that was originally reserved, due to maintenance, they communicated with me a few days prior and provided a backup option that exceptional, if not even better! The driver was kind and a great driver. If you’re looking for a limo service, I highly recommend going with this company :). Thank you Cloud 9 for adding a great touch to my wedding day!

Cloud 9 Trolley was incredible to work with for our wedding day. Leading up to it Cloud 9 was great to work with, accommodating changes to our itinerary seamlessly. The driver arrived on time and got us everywhere that we needed to go in a timely, safe fashion. The Trolley itself was beautiful, spacious and looked so nice!

Cloud 9 was absolutely wonderful on our entire wedding day. They were extremely timely and the driver was so nice and really invested in making sure that we all had a great time. The bluetooth sound system was great and everything seemed really up-to-date. They came back and did our shuttle service at the end of the night and were extremely prompt and professional throughout the entire day and night. We have heard some horror stories about wedding day transportation and are so thankful that we had absolutely no hiccups or problems and have nothing but good things to say about Cloud 9 and their drivers! We will definitely be recommending them to all of our family and friends getting married in the Chicagoland area.

We rented one of Chicago Cloud 9 Limousine's smaller party buses for our Wedding on 12/31/23. The bus was on time and the driver was friendly and accommodating. The inside of the bus was clean and had complimentary Champaign. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend them!

Incredible customer service and great hospitality! They were very flexible to work with and we highly recommend! We used Cloud 9 for two separate occasions this year and they took great care of us for both!! The trolley was a lot of fun and perfect for our large group! Request Bobby if he’s available for the trolley! We also rented the party bus and were extremely satisfied again with the customer service and quality of the vehicles.

We just used Cloud 9 for our wedding last weekend and they were great! They were so accommodating going back and forth between our venue and hotel making sure that all our guests had transportation. They drivers were so nice and they took pictures of our wedding party for us without us even having to ask. I highly recommend them for your wedding!

We used Cloud 9 transportation for our recent wedding, and we had great experience! Our driver was kind, professional, and showed up right on time. Our ceremony location was a little bit of a drive from the reception, so staying on schedule with transportation was critical. We would definitely recommend!

The white trolley from Cloud 9 made our wedding day so much fun! Max was easy to communicate with and ensured timing for pickup and drop off was smooth. Our driver, Francisco, was into the spirit of the day and was accommodating with our special requests.

Cloud Nine limousine was on time for all of my events! They were very communicative and professional. However- they did get lost on the way from our hotel to our wedding ceremony. My mother-in-law had to open the partition to the driver side, and give them directions on how to get to the church. They also kept calling and texting me (the bride) on my wedding day. I think it would be helpful if during the booking process they ask for a day of contact. This was unnecessary stress for me on my wedding day. They also were asking me for a credit card on my wedding day for incidentals. They already had my credit card on file from my original booking, so I am not sure why they needed this? It was not explained very well, but one of my bridesmaids ended up giving them her credit card to put on file, so I didn't have to stress out about it.

The driver will not be briefed on anything previously discussed. For context, I prepaid in full, tip included, a month earlier after asking if I could pay that way. I received 5+ calls within the hour before my wedding ceremony asking where I was and when I could show them my ID and pay. It took 4 people to work it out so that the driver would just leave and come to the venue. EDIT: The company now says I was the sole point of contact, no, my day of coordinator was. You opted to not consult her and to badger me. Then at the end of the night, more calls and text demands for me to be on a shuttle when I'm already at my final destination. I had to spoon-feed these guys previously worked out logistics, while under large amounts of (understandable) wedding stress. This isn't 1 star because yes, the shuttle did transport my guests, and at a competitive price. But the timing and amount of 'needed' stress that just was optionally given to me instead of reading 2 emails or a contract... Inexcusable.

We booked the 22 passenger white party bus to drive us and our wedding party to various locations in Chicago and it was absolutely perfect. I spent a ton of time researching trolley/party bus/limo companies, and I can say with extreme confidence that this is the lowest cost and highest rated company in Chicago. I actually thought it was too good to be true, but they showed up on time, the bus was clean and stocked, they took us exactly where we needed to be, and there were no hidden costs anywhere. It was an effortless experience working with Cloud9. Highly recommend!!

Cloud 9 provided excellent service on my wedding day! They were affordable with zero hassle or last minute upcharges. Scheduling was really easy and our driver showed up with plenty of time to spare in a great vehicle. We had to make multiple stops and even added an extra McDonald's run last minute, and our driver Sam was so accommodating, professional, and friendly. It was easy to tie our music to limo to have custom jams on the way to the venue and we felt like we were really riding in style. Thank you!

The Limo driver was professional, and we were provided cups and refreshments. We were also able to crank tunes while we celebrated, and we felt like VIPs having the time of our lives.

I give Cloud 9 Limo a 5 out of 5! From the initial inquiry to the end of the graduation party, they were amazing. I sent an inquiry and got an immediate response with extremely reasonable pricing. Mind you, I booked less than a week before I needed the party bus. The day of the party, our driver Juan was on time and even helped us make adjustments to our stops because of bad traffic. We had a bunch of squealing 8th graders in back and he was patient in every way. He even pulled over to help them get the bluetooth working for their music. About and hour after we'd been dropped off, my husband realized he left his work computer bag in the front seat. I called the company, which was already closed. I got a call back in less than a minute and told the person what happened. They tracked down Juan who'd already gone home. He met my husband at 9pm to make sure he got his back for work the following morning. This company far exceeded my expectations and I will never call any other when I need a party bus. Job well done and thank you!

We loved our wedding trolley for photos around the city on our 10/15/22 wedding day! It was the perfect arrangement for our large wedding party + photographer and video vendors. This modern, chic white trolley provided the perfect photos opportunities and the team was easy to work with. Book fast - we booked this over a year out and it was one of the only white trolleys we could find large enough to hold our crew!

The bus we used for our wedding was so much fun to be in, it was clean and roomy and had really cool lights. The driver was timely and courteous and very accommodating.

We used Cloud9 for a variety of ride services for our event and they were extremely easy and professional to deal with during this process, and even came up with suggestions that made things better than we had planned. On the day of the event everything went as planned and they did a great job. I would highly recommend.

Everything was great and the party bus was great for our purpose of taking us to our photo sites! The only slight knock was the driver didn't really know the best routes so that slightly added to our travel time (and thus took away from our photo time) and the blinds were really hard to pull up (which made it weird in the middle of the day to sit in pitch black lol) but those are super minor.

We booked a Cloud9 party bus for our bridal party to go from our church to photos and then to our reception and they did a fantastic job! The bus was in great condition and was equipped with waters and a great music system for us to really kick off our celebrating. The only hiccup with Cloud9 was that we chose to pay for our driver on the day of the wedding. I didn't think it would be a hassle since my card was on file and we had the card available as we got on the bus. Our driver ran our card and told me it wasn't working, had us run another card and that one didn't work either. He proceeded to want us to try another card but that was just ridiculous cause it wasn't our cards it was his system. He ended up calling the office and they were able to charge the card we had on file but it was a big hassle and honestly quite inconvenient the day of our wedding. My husband was pretty upset with how clueless our driver seemed with the situation but all ended up working out and the transportation provided was exactly what we needed. I'd recommend trying to pay either in cash or ahead of time if you're able to just to avoid any issues on the day of your event.

Let’s talk about wedding transportation. We had a trolley cancel on us 3 weeks before our wedding, and thank goodness they did…..because then we found Cloud 9! Their trolley was beautiful, their driver was prompt, it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. I sincerely recommend them to anyone looking for transportation!

We used Cloud 9 Limos for wedding party transportation at our 8/13/22 wedding in downtown Chicago, and they were amazing! Working with them to communicate timing and locations for stops was very straightforward, and everyone we corresponded with was very friendly. Our trolley was brand new, super clean, and absolutely adorable. Our driver was right on time, and extremely friendly and accommodating. He navigated the city streets like a champ and took tons of stop requests from our photographer. It was also very easy to take over the aux, so a member of our wedding party surprised my husband and I by playing Chapel of Love when we were last to get back on the trolley after our final stop before the Ceremony - it ended up being my favorite memory of the whole day! I’d highly recommend booking a trolley from Cloud 9 for your wedding day, it was a great decision for us!

Cloud 9 did a great job on our wedding day. They were punctual and the trolley was so fun! Being air conditioned was a huge relief since it was hot! Our driver was nice and professional.

Our driver was great! Friendly and courteous and he got us to all our photo stops on time even with Chicago summer traffic. The AC was much appreciated on our 90 deg day as was the champagne and waters!

You definitely get what you pay for - the Party Bus and Limo we rented were nice but the service was not. At first when I finished paying for the transportation a week in advance, my contact told me that I would get the contact information for our drivers 24 hours in advance of our big day. So we go through the day before our wedding and I don't hear from my contact so I reach out to them midway through the day to see when I could expect the contact information for the drivers. Only now my contact told me that they do not share contact information out for drivers. I explained that this is not what he had told me less than a week earlier and pushed for the contact information so we could have someone to reach out to in the morning. VERY RELUCTANTLY the contact agreed but then didn't get me driver information until very late Friday night. We gave our contacts explicit instructions to contact our day-of coordinator since we had cars coming for two different groups. Instead, both drivers kept calling and texting me and did not take direction to reach out to our coordinator instead. But here's the best part - the limo that was suppose to take the bride and the mother of the bride to mass was 45 minutes late! Due to a literal miracle they still someone made it through 30 minutes of Chicago traffic to the church on time but it made for a much much more stressful morning than it needed to be. Also our party bus driver ended up swearing at our photographer after she made a request of him and was chain smoking the entire day.

Our driver was punctual and fantastic to work with for the day - I had no stress here! The limo we ordered was perfect for our party of 12 and all the stuff we brought along with us! Even when we were running half an hour behind schedule, I could not have asked for more patience, help, and professionalism from our driver! He even helped us all load and unload the limo at each of our venues. The limo itself was awesome - we could connect to the speakers, had fun lights, water, and champagne! Thank you for helping us make our wedding day a success!

We booked Cloud 9 for our wedding to take our party, parents and grandparents to/from our picture location. The only reason why we aren’t providing five stars is because our driver tried to drop our groomsmen at the wrong location and he took a longer route than expected to get to our picture spot. However, they were really easy to book with, the bus was spacious + clean and they allowed food and beverages on board, which was much appreciated! A solid choice if you’re in search of affordable transportation for your wedding day.

Cloud9 was great for our wedding! They were on time, had the bus set up so nicely, the driver was very sweet and they allowed us to bring drinks and food on. The only thing was the one loud speaker in the back kept cutting in and out but such a minor detail as the rest was perfect!

I used Cloud9 for my party this past summer & our wedding this past March. The drivers that we had were excellent. They were always early and ready for us when they picked us up. They were really great drivers and super patient, especially in the downtown Chicago traffic. Also, Max who I booked everything with was wonderful to work with. Super quick replies and always so eager to help. The service was amazing through all the planning and during day of party bus. They will be the only company I will be contacting for a party bus or other car services that I need. Thank you!

Extremely happy with out decision to use Cloud9. The wedding package they offer is a no brainer compared to other companies. Ruben, our driver was above and beyond in accommodating our needs, and even went out of his way to be sure our bus drivers (we used a different company) for the wedding guests were on time picking up guests. Even our photographers commented how great he was and said they'll recommend Cloud9 for future weddings.

Cloud 9 made transportation for the day of the wedding awesome. We transported the bridal party around for pictures! The bus was very clean and came prepared with ice, cups and a bottle of champagne. Cloud 9 is very reasonable priced which made it a no brainer.

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to your limo service for providing such spectacular service on our wedding day. Booking the service was quick and easy, fair pricing for service, the limo was beautiful and clean. Most importantly, though, our driver (Dustin) was nothing short of amazing. He was very punctual arriving at our first location, was very polite and friendly, and I felt very safe driving with him. Those things were things I very much was hoping for and expected. However, the best part was his understanding and flexibility when things happened that I did not expect! It started raining - so our outdoor location that he was en route to, was no longer an option for us - so he rerouted for us. And THEN, my dad missed the last shuttle from the hotel to the venue because of traffic, and he rerouted again to make sure he got my dad and others safely to the venue. I was incredibly thankful and impressed. I highly recommend this service and will be booking again the next time we need a limo service. Thank you for everything!

Professional on time and good value

Great, timely limo service for our wedding. The party bus was very clean, our driver was timely and accommodating to our picture stops before our wedding, and was patient after the reception while we rounded up the wedding party to leave! During all the hassle of planning a wedding during a pandemic, it was nice to know our transportation was one less thing to worry about!

Cloud 9 Limousine was a perfect choice for our wedding! I am really thankful for their service because everything went so perfectly! Reuben was our driver for the day and he was so nice and funny. He really made sure we felt special and he was so generous!! We had a 22 person party bus and I really loved the experience. The bluetooth was pretty simple to figure out and the setup for the bus was awesome. The bus was on time and ran so smoothly. We also added a shuttle service a few weeks before the wedding which worked out well too! We had a smaller party bus that arrived for the shuttle service and it was quick and easy to use. Their response time for emails was great and the phone calls I had with them were super quick and simple which was nice! I had a wonderful experience overall and I would definitely highly recommend this company for any of your transportation needs!

My husband and I hired Cloud9 for our wedding and absolutely loved our experience! They had both great rates and great quality. Our entire wedding party had a blast and our driver was a joy to work with! Would most deifnitely hire them again.

I truly am so disappointed to have to write this review. I have used Cloud9 multiple times in the past 2 years and have had nothing but great experiences. I was such a fan of this company and Max that I chose to book them for our wedding about 2 weeks ago (May 30 2021). We booked two party buses: a white 29 passenger and a black 26 passenger. The beginning of our day went great, drivers on time, bus clean, I was very excited to have yet another wonderful experience. After our ceremony the party buses transported our bridal party and parents to the reception. Again great experiences. However, immediately after the buses dropped us off they were supposed to begin shuttling our guests from the hotels to the reception. Instead one of our drivers decided to take a smoke break for about 20 minutes. Normally that wouldn’t bother me but due to him taking a break an entire bus full of my guests was late to the cocktail hour and reception. I did not say anything to Max or the driver, one because I was trying to enjoy my wedding but two because I figured ok minor setback no big deal. My problem was at the end of the night. We had two party buses because we knew we had a large guest count. The 29 passenger bus came to pick up our guests and overfilled the bus. If people had to wait I was totally fine paying extra for another hour if need be. I spoke to one of the drivers and mentioned that as well. As a result of overfilling the bus one of my guests fell and hit her head on the door. Luckily nothing serious occurred. The last bus was a 26 passenger black bus. We counted that there were 26 more people left, the remainder of our guests that were outside got into cars myself included. I was absolutely shocked to hear that one of the drivers told my husband there was not enough room for him on the bus. THE GROOM. My husband had to then WALK to where we were staying. I was so upset to hear this I called Max to discuss the night so that he may understand my frustration. I began the call by thanking him for his service that evening but that I was kind of upset with a few things. He acted shocked and angrily asked me what about the service I was unhappy with. I mentioned the things above to which he responded “Are you fucking kidding me?” He then told me my guests arrived at our reception late because they missed the pickup time. There was no set pickup time, the bus was to SHUTTLE our guests back and forth not pickup at specific times. I did not want to go back and forth with him about that because what I was truly upset about was my husband having to walk because he was told there was not enough room on the bus when we specifically counted 26 guests. To my absolute shock, Max responded with “How about I leave your guests in a field and charge you $200 for going over the time?” In my entire life I have never experienced such poor professionalism and downright disrespect from a business. I responded and said if he did that I was going to have to call the police. He then ended the call with telling me I was “fucking ridiculous” and he was going to charge me $200 and hung up. Immediately after the phone call my husband’s credit card was charged $200. I don’t even care about being charged the $200, I informed one of the drivers we would gladly pay extra for the time we had gone over. Our main priority & concern was getting our guests safely back to their hotels. Being cursed at and threatened was not how I anticipated being spoken to on my wedding day.

Used Cloud9 for our bridal party transportation for photos. We booked a little bit last minute (about 2-3 weeks out. General recommendation is a few months) I requested quotes from 2 additional businesses - Cloud9 was the first one to reply back with a quote (next business day). The other to places took a week or did not reply back at all. I booked Cloud9 almost immediately. Total number of people on the bus was 19, so the flat rate 22 person bus w. unlimited miles was an amazing deal, especially since we were going from the West suburbs to downtown Chicago back to suburbs. Driver was on time. The driver was very polite, professional, and a joy to work with. We made multiple stops Downtown and were able to obtain all the photo locations we wanted. They had water bottles ready along with a bottle of champagne and cups. Bus was very, very clean, had colorful party lights and was comfortable. Bus also had air conditioning, which was great considering it was 90 degrees and Sunny most of the day. I recommend their service 100%. For 5 hours the experience was great for all in the wedding party, including 6 children. The driver was very patient and accommodated every request. Cloud 9 Limousine was perfect for my wedding! We used this service to get to our venue. We were able to hook up our phones to the Bluetooth and play all our songs we wanted to jam to on the way to the ceremony. Was SO much fun!

Max was very accommodating when it came to the party bus we rented. He showed us the bus before we paid, allowed us to look inside. The bus was clean, beautiful and had tons of space for our event. This was my 16th birthday party. The driver was so polite and sweet about everything. Lights were super cool! My friends and I had so much fun! He took us everywhere we wanted to go. He drove smoothly. He opened the door for us. He made me feel safe too.

Our wedding was 9/18/2020. Working with Max made planning really easy. Very friendly and prompt when replying back. On the day of the wedding the driver was on time and there were little decorations on the outside of the bus, looking very cute. I'm very happy with how things turned out.

The limo arrived 15 minutes early. The driver was so nice and made me feel so very secure taking my daughter and her friends for a 3 hour Sweet 16 ride. The limo was beautiful and the features inside were so fun! My daughter said the whole night was a blast and the driver was so incredibly nice and professional. I would highly recommend this company and their prices are very competitive.

Great service from first quote to wedding day! We replanned our wedding and postponed it so there were several changes throughout the planning, and Max was so understanding and quick to update our contract each time. He took many phone calls and email exchanges with me on details to make sure the day of went smoothly. On day of, his drivers were prompt and friendly. They really made the trolley and party bus experience fun and lively! You will appreciate the little extras like cups and napkins, and I can’t stress enough how thankful we were that tips and fees were included in the contract price. Not having to worry about that day of was so nice. The vehicles were beautiful and clean as well.

Booking this limo service was one of the best choices we made. First the buses were very nice and clean. Our driver for the main part of the day, Ruben, was out of this world amazing. He sent me a text the night before to confirm the details and arrived exactly on time. He was absolutely the nicest, went out of his way to take photos for us, park the bus in the easiest locations for us and drove our wedding party around for bathroom breaks when necessary during photos. He also went above and beyond and bought us some extra ice for our drinks when we realized we forgot to buy extra. He made the day much less stress free and more relaxed and was absolutely wonderful to work with! Can’t recommend them enough!

Great & reasonably priced company for a party bus ! The driver was on time and polite . This was for prom, but would be great for a wedding party too!
