Where do I begin to review the absolute best vendor in the world? My husband and I looked at one place before the Marriott for our wedding, and the second we saw the Marriott and started speaking to the sales manager, we were sold. They were so accommodating from start to finish. Jill, Faby, and the entire team met and exceeded every single one of our expectations. The marriott @ burr ridge is not only an amazing location, our guests loved it, the rooms were nice and updated, affordable pricing, BEAUTIFUL and HUGE ballroom, great food, and I cannot think of one reason not to book here. If you want a stress-free wedding process at a place that you. your future spouse, and all of your guests are going to love, then look no further. I will never stop recommending the Marriott @ Burr Ridge for hosting a wedding. The absolute BEST vendor. THANK YOU MARRIOTT for making June 8 the best day of our lives!!!!!!

I highly recommend Jill and her team at the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge! Not only do you get a beautiful, private wedding event space, but the venue comes with an outstanding team. Jill and her team were with us every step of the way. Jill and her team set up our tastings, venue walk throughs, and even let myself, my mom, and my now husband come to the Marriott the week of our wedding to drop off our decor, so we didn't have to worry about it the day of. Jill and her team listened to my vision for the venue and executed it perfectly. By the time my mom showed up to the Marriott on wedding day to start setting up the venue, Jill and her team had already almost finished decorating the entire event space! Jill and her team took all the stress of wedding day away, and allowed myself, my husband, and our families to enjoy every minute. The food and service were fantastic, and the event space was extremely clean. Our guests could not stop saying that our wedding was the best wedding they've attended in years! If you are looking for a wedding venue and team that will go the extra mile to make your wedding day memorable, look no further than the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge.

We loved absolutely everything about having our wedding at the Marriott. The second we walked into our initial venue tour, we felt so welcomed and cared for, which had us leaving knowing this was going to be our venue. We worked with Ella, Victoria, and Faby in all different capacities and they were all so wonderful and always going above and beyond for us. Everyone was so kind and professional. Our questions were always answered so quickly, and they were always so accomodating with requests big and small, especially the last minute ones. All of the day of staff were incredible too, and the food was to die for. I can't say enough good things about our experience, and I hope to return as a wedding guest one day. I don't think there is enough room on this sheet for me to express the amazing wedding that I had at the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge. From the very first meeting at the hotel to days AFTER my wedding, everything was spot on. From Jill to Victoria and all servers at the wedding, I can't express enough how thankful I am that you made my day PERFECT. Everything was just so easy on me. The emails flowed without me waiting on answers and the line of communication was really important to me and they killed it. From the landscape to the lighting an even the temperature of the rooms, they made sure everything was what I wanted. The menu tasting was super special and so much fun. Chef even came in and made a totally different soup for us, talk about service. Victoria, the hotel wedding planner was AMAZING. She worked with my wedding planner and all my vendors on the wedding setup which was breathtaking. She stayed all night long and checked in personally with me throughout the entire night. I requested something, she made it happen. Jill, let me tell you, she is amazing too. She treated my mom and I with just grace a respect the entire time. She even reached out days after the wedding check in on me. She was professional and such a joy to work with. My wedding was the most magical night of my life, and I truly am so thankful I held it at the Marriott in Bur Ridge. Beautiful ballroom, beautiful rooms, beautiful outside for photos, just beautiful everything!! There isn't one thing I would ever change!! A million Thank Yous to everyone that played a part.

From one MOG to another... Our son had his wedding at the Burr Ridge Marriott. Since both his ceremony and reception were taking place at the hotel, my husband and I opted to host the dinner rehearsal there as well. BEST idea ever! Let me start with the convenience factor. To all you MOGS (mother-of-grooms) deliberating on dinner rehearsal venues- trust me, having dinner just a 5-minute walk away is a complete game changer. Next- the space. We were initially interested in Marriott's outdoor patio due to its charming ambiance. Unfortunately, the weather was not our friend. Our event planners, however, displayed remarkable adaptability and seamlessly transitioned us to an indoor space with a beautiful view that ended up being the perfect fit for our group. The food was another highlight. I had a bit of insider knowledge on this one as I'd previously attended a work meeting here. We opted for the Mexican buffet at the rehearsal which, from the fajitas to the churros, did not disappoint! However, what truly set our entire experience apart was the consistent above and beyond efforts from the staff. Jill, Katrina, and the entire sales/event staff were insightful, patient, and intuitive to our specific needs. They didn't just orchestrate an event; they created a cherished memory. Thank you, Marriott!

The Burr Ridge Marriott was wonderful to work with for our wedding room block and post wedding brunch. Faby and her team made the experience easy during what is a high stress time. The team was professional, accommodating to all of our requests, and everything was handled with class. Something we loved about the venue was their willingness to have the bar stay open late the evening of our wedding for a post party. Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend the best!

We couldn't have have picked a more perfect place to get married. Our original coordinator was Ella, who was a pleasure to work with before she left, and our new coordinators Victoria and Fabiola aka Faby were amazing as well. Victoria helped us come up with our signature drink and its name, the Fall Bubbly, and Faby was also our day of coordinator who constantly checked-in to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. Both were very professional and friendly. The entire staff including our coordinators were helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had and truly cared about us and our big day, which is a must-have trait from a venue for any couple getting married. My guests can't stop raving about the food (we recommend the Halibut because its to die for), the elegant decor (our Fall theme wedding was elegantly complimented by the gold and brown interior decor), and the amazing bartenders. While rain from the night before prevented us from doing the first look under the big willow tree, their patio overlooking the pond and willow tree was the perfect alternative location. If you pick this location, you will have a ton of location options for photos, both inside and out. Another benefit we really enjoyed was having everything all on-site. The ceremony, cocktail, and reception were in the same general area/floor of the hotel which eased the minds of our guests with mobility issues. Our wedding at the Burr Ridge Marriott was pretty much perfect; so we wanted to write this review to help other couples experience what we did and as a way of saying thank you to the Marriott staff, who were amazing. Things we loved about the Burr Ridge Marriott: • One convenient – and beautiful - location. Easy to get to right off of I-55, we were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony under a willow tree on the property (more on that later), an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour on their awesome stone patio and the reception in the ballroom, and since it’s a hotel we didn’t need to arrange any transportation. • The food was excellent. We went with the grilled striploin, pecan crusted chicken, and an eggplant dish for our vegetarian option, but everything we tried during our tasting was incredible and would’ve been a good choice. One of the reasons we wanted a location in the suburbs rather than the city was that we didn’t want to have to worry about catering, and their kitchen did an amazing job. • Higher-end, but still affordable. We thought the Burr Ridge Marriott had the best outdoor area of anywhere we saw, at a price we could afford, and we also thought that the food and alcohol packages they offered were the best value for the money, like the 5 hour open bar. • Amazing, dedicated staff. Honestly, the best part of the Burr Ridge Marriott location was the way they took care of us from the moment we came to visit, especially Ella. They started going above and beyond for us at the very beginning. When we first saw the location, we thought it checked almost all our boxes, but were worried that the outdoor location on the patio might be a little narrow for our guests during the ceremony. Ella suggested that we have the ceremony elsewhere on the grounds, and found us a beautiful location under the willow tree to hold our ceremony – a location they’d considered, but never offered before. This is typical of the way we were treated throughout the planning and the wedding itself. The staff did so many wonderful things to make our day perfect, too many to list in a short review, so I’ll just say that you could tell they truly cared about how our day went and that made all the difference. We couldn’t be happier with how things turned out, and we didn’t even have a wedding planner. Things you might want to be aware of: • If you’re having an outdoor ceremony, you might want to order extra chairs. • The area under the willow tree does have a lot of goose poop. The Marriott cleaned it up before our ceremony so it wasn’t a problem for us. • We had the bridal party exit from the stairwell for the ceremony, which is the only way to get there through the building. The walk outside is short, but some guests found it confusing. I can’t recommend the Burr Ridge Marriott highly enough, and hope this review helps another couple have the wonderful experience we did. If possible I’ll update with pictures once we get them back from our photographer.

The wedding coordinator, Ella Sparks and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our special day truly unforgettable. Extraordinary service and hospitality ❤️ the food was absolutely divine, our friends and family are still talking about the fire grilled steaks, the quality of the beef, all perfectly cooked, the food was prepared like a work of art on the plate, it was so exquisite and the taste was out of this world, The hotel rooms are so nice and new, the beds feel like you are sleeping on a cloud!! Everything about the Marriott Burr Ridge is so exceptional. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Despite the hectic planning before my MBA program and admist several covid scares, the team made our wedding amazing!! The venue is breathtaking. The service is spectacular. My guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The bartender made amazing drinks and people rarely had to wait. Ella is so kind, organized, and answered all emails in a timely manner. She honestly became my fairy godmother through the whole process and became a part of our family. I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Chicagoland area, this is it. No need to look further. You won’t regret it!!!!

We had our wedding at the Burr Ridge Marriott, in November, and I cannot say enough great things about the venue as well as the staff. Ella & Jill made the entire experience so easy for us and were so accomodating from start to finish. They really made us feel heard and were so detail oriented. I knew we were in great hands and I didn't stress about a single thing! The food was OUTSTANDING. All of our guests still have been talking about it. The hotel itself was very well kept and updated which was nice! It made for some really great photo opportunities. Not to mention how beautiful the grounds are too. If you're looking to have a hotel wedding, I cannot recommend the Burr Ridge Marriott enough! They made all of our wedding dreams come true!

Wedding planning can be so stressful and overwhelming, Ella and the staff at the Marriott made the whole process much more manageable and less intimidating! My wife and I booked Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge as our wedding reception venue this past September. From the beginning, the staff at the Marriott was very accommodating and provided great service. We worked specifically with catering sales manager, Ella Sparks. Ella was honestly a God sent. Both my wife and I live in Texas and have been since the beginning of our wedding planning process. Ella was so accommodating with schedules and communication when we weren't always able to be physically present for meetings and walkthroughs. She was quick to answer our questions and communicated exceptionally with our day of coordinator as well. Our wedding reception came out even better than we could have imagined. We can't thank Ella and the Marriott team enough for the amazing dinner set up, accommodation, and service.

I'm a planner in Chicago and one of our client's booked the Marriott Southwest Burr Ridge for their wedding venue. This was a new venue to me but the whole process was seamless with the help of Ella, Jill, and their team. They made it so easy and stress free!! From catering and decor to the room block for guests, they provided all the resources we needed to make this event successful. Every single question and request was handled in a timely manner and with positive attitudes. They were such a joy to work with and I would highly recommend hosting your event with them!

We had our ceremony and reception here yesterday and everything was perfect! Planning a wedding during COVID is extremely stressful. However, the Chicago Marriott Southwesst at Burr Ridge made it easy. After 16 months of planning, we were ready to have our dream wedding on January 8th with 300+ guests. However, COVID had other plans. Due to the significant uprise in COVID cases and guests who reached out cancelling due to COVID, we had made the decision about 2-3 weeks prior to the date to post-pone our wedding. I was devastated. However, the Marriott and all their wonderful staff did not let me down. They immediately helped with changing our date and postponing our large wedding to a few months later. Any questions/concerns/thoughts we had were always answered promptly and they were so accommodating and helpful from the very beginning. With that being said, here we are on May 23rd, the weekend after my fairy tale wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food could not have been better, the staff is beyond kind, friendly, and helpful, and I honestly have not a single bad thing to say about this venue. Trust me when I say, you will want to be hosting your wedding or event at this location!

Marriott Burr Ridge is an excellent place to host your next event! We had our wedding there in September and all of our guests were very complimentary of the venue! The ballroom is spacious, and offers flexible spacing for cocktail hour. Additionally, the hotel was lovely! We've had family who have come back to revisit and have chosen this hotel because they enjoyed their stay so much. The staff was helpful, kind, and prompt with service day of. Having good food was important to us and Marriott is NOT disappoint! The chief is amazing! Hor d'oeuvres, each entree, and late night snacks were DELISH! We didn't have any leftovers! I also cannot say enough wonderful things about the planners we worked with. Throughout the craziness of having to plan, and then reschedule our wedding multiple times (thanks, Covid) we were greeted with people who genuinely wanted us to have our big celebration. They were prompt and helpful with each question we asked. I would highly recommend the Marriott Burr Ridge for you to host your next event!

Katrina was amazing and couldn’t have pulled off the wedding without her. Marriot was the best place to have my reception. Such a fun and amazing night. Great after party bar. So many Compliments on the food, chef was very easy to work with. 100% would have another event at the marriot!

I recently got married at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge and it was the best decision I made for my wedding. Ella, Jill, chef Daniel, and the entire staff were fantastic. As someone who is in the wedding industry, I have seen many great venues and others not so great, and the Marriott tops the list. From the beginning of the planning process, everyone I worked with was extremely quick to respond, was proactive with the information they needed, and are just the nicest people. Both Ella and Jill knew how much I wanted to get married outside and unfortunately when the day came the weather didn't cooperate. They created a backup option that was better than the original and everything went flawlessly. My maid of honor saw my detailed timeline, and she said everything was going according to plan to the minute. As a very type-A person, it was hard for me to let go of some of the planning processes, but I am sure glad I did because Ella and the team did better than I could have imagined. Ella is the sweetest and is fantastic at her job. The food was great and portions were huge. Chef Daniel checked in with my husband and I multiple times throughout the night to ensure everything met our expectations. It was the best customer service from a venue I have ever seen. I will be recommending the Marriott to everyone I know moving forward.

The Chicago Marriott Southwest was nothing short of a perfect wedding experience for us. We, like many, had to make significant adjustments during Covid. The team at the Marriott effortlessly assisted in making this day as perfect as we could have imagined it. Jill and Katrina were our team leaders and they were AWESOME! They were both so knowledgeable and insightful, helping us along every step of the way. There was never one circumstance that they were difficult to get a hold of. They went above and beyond to always be there for us with the fastest response times. They were quick on their feet, especially with some last minute changes and additions of guests last minute. They decorated our ballroom better than I could have imagined. As a bride, I knew I didn't have to worry because we were in the best hands. The Marriott had a beautiful, scenic patio overlooking a pond that was perfect for our cocktail hour. The ballroom is grand with plenty of space. In the same regard, they put together an amazing floor plan to make our 68 person wedding feel like a 150 person wedding. It didn't feel empty and we utilized all the space. They had a lounge bar that we enjoyed after the wedding. The hotel was recently renovated so everything was beautiful with a modern feel. All of the staff, including the serving staff (Captain Steve) and the bartenders were top notch. Rob and I were pulled away from dinner and Captain Steve sent our meals up to our room for us to enjoy later. The food was AMAZING! All of our guests commented on the size of the portions (huge) and how much they enjoyed it. The chef was excellent! They made our wedding day PERFECT in every way. I would recommend this venue for any sort of occasion, but especially for a wedding.

Katrina was the most helpful person on the planet. She was extremely responsive to our many inquiries and allowed us to visit the venue multiple times which was helpful especially when selecting centerpieces. The room setup was absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t have pictured it better in my head even if I had tried. The Marriott was the perfect venue for a wedding, I would recommend it as highly as I possibly can.

Due to Covid-19 we had to change our wedding plans. Our original venue could not take us with the reduced numbers. We were so fortunate to find the Marriott. The Marriott team was so accommodating, we ended up hosting our rehearsal dinner, booking a block of rooms, our reception and a Sunday brunch with them!! Everything was done with such thought and perfection. The service was outstanding while also following Covid-19 protocol. Our rehearsal dinner was so beautiful on the outdoor patio overlooking the pond. We were so happy at how the small reception turned out. The food was beyond excellent. So many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had. Our celebration exceeded our expectations because of Chicago Marriott Burr Ridge. I highly recommend Chicago Marriott team and beautiful location for an amazing wedding event and more.

Katrina was so helpful with planning everything. The church we originally planned to have to ceremony at canceled the last minute. Katrina and her help went above and beyond our requests and were very welcoming to our guest. Definitely recommend having your wedding here!

Absolutely amazing! We had to scramble to drastically downsize our wedding due to the pandemic, and needed to find a new venue. Jill and her team at the Marriott went completely above and beyond at every single step. From answering answering my million emails during the 3 week planning process, to upgrading our table linens and hotel room, to making sure that we had a wedding cake! We were completely blown away by the thousand extra things they did to make sure that our wedding day was perfect and memorable. The food was fantastic- everyone agreed that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. We cannot thank everyone enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

Beautiful venue and really nice people to work with. The coordinator would generally respond to my email in the same day, and always tried to be helpful. The food at the tasting was AMAZING! We didn't end up following through with the reception due to the pandemic, but they were really great at working with us to postpone, and then ultimately when we cancelled and got a full refund. Wish I was able to have my wedding here, but it just wasn't meant to be (thanks to the state of IL).

I had my wedding reception at the Burr Ridge Marriott on May 11, 2019. Kelly Schmitz was our wedding coordinator and she did an amazing job. She was so kind and such a pleasure to work with. The tasting was beautiful and the food delicious, better than I’d hoped for. They coordinated with our cake provider perfectly. Kelly helped so much on the day of, and gave some extra surprises that made the day that much more special. I think their greatest strength is on day-of service; everything was impeccable and I knew Kelly was 100% on top of everything, leaving me to enjoy the thrill of the day. Awesome venue and outstanding service! Great people to work with. After working with the wedding coordinator Kelly and the Mariott Burr Ridge team I was beyond pleased. Kelly went above and beyond to make our day exactly what we wanted. She is very friendly, professional, and helpful. Kelly makes you a top priority and makes your day very special. I would recommend her and this venue to anyone.

We happily did an all-in-one wedding here. Ceremony, cocktails, and reception. This was a great option for us. We got good attention through the process. Kelly was very good about making time for all my questions and follow-ups. This hotel was recently renovated, and so it was modern, comfortable, and felt new. The tasting was a lot of fun, and very elegant. The hotel will work well with your vendors as well. Even the cake is included in your package here! They didn’t play hardball on anything, and didn’t come up with additional charges once we were in the process. As I do many events for work, I know that is the exception to the rule in this industry. The Presidential Suite also comes with your package, and this was amazing for the day of. The fact that the shopping center is a block away is fabulous for guests who arrive early. We really were happy with the Marriott. Their rep, staff, servers, and housekeeping were really terrific. We will always have a soft spot for this hotel and the staff that made it a very efficient, fun, and memorable process.

I got married a couple weeks ago, 9/21/19, and had our reception at the Chicago Marriott Southwest in Burr Ridge. The venue is so beautiful! I love the outdoor willow tree, bridge by the waterfall, outdoor patio and more. It made for some beautiful photos! Kelly was our event coordinator and she was extremely helpful. Whenever we had a question her response was always very quick. The room just outside the ballroom is where we had our cocktail hour and it had plenty of space. The food was very delicious we had chicken, steak, and vegetarian. We had plenty of guests tell us how good the food was and how full they were after. My absolute favorite part was the service! From Kelly our coordinator, the wait staff, bartenders, busses, front desk, they all went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcomed, and was extremely responsive for any requests needed. We had the presidential suite which was absolutely gorgeous and spacious! There was plenty of space for myself, bridesmaids, moms, hair and makeup artists, and photographer all to have enough room to be functional getting ready day of. I highly recommend the Chicago Marriott Southwest in Burr Ridge for a wedding!

We had our June Wedding at the Marriott Burr Ridge and it was by far the best decision we made. Kelly did absolutely everything to make our day run smoothly. All of our guests said that the service and food were amazing. Kelly ensured that we could enjoy our wedding day and took care of every detail throughout the day. Everything was perfect- I even told Kelly I wanted to marry her at one point! They were amazing!

Kelly was incredible to work with! She made the day beyond beautiful despite the inclement weather outside. Kelly covered every detail and was an excellent host. She handled difficult family tensions like a seasoned therapist and made smooth recommendations when my wife and I weren't sure how to proceed. If you're on the fence about the Chicago Marriott Southwest, know that Kelly will make your event everything you could have ever wished for.

Wow, where do I begin to thank Kelly and her team at the Marriott Burr Ridge Wedding Venue. My daughter and her fiancé looked around for venues in a hotel or very close to a hotel and fell in love with the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge. They offered a package that they felt would cover most of the food and services they were looking for. Little did they know just how wonderful their day would turn out when they booked the room? Kelly did an outstanding job of making sure every detail was covered. Her hard work, organizational skills and pleasant demeanor reduced our stress and enhanced our experience. She made sure everything (except for a few minor hiccups out of her control) was set up as agreed upon and her team made sure the event went flawlessly. The banquet team was wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure that all our guest’s need were met. The food was served quickly and hot, the portions were generous and the soup, salad, chicken and steak were delicious. The dishes were removed once the guest was finished and the water glasses were replenished. The sweet table was beautiful and delicious. It was kept up and replenished all night. In addition to the above, a couple of other things that really impressed me were that the staff did not remove the water glasses until the end of the night and they did not take my drink if I walked away from the table. At other venues it is very upsetting when they take away a full drink as soon as you walk away. Thank you for not doing that. At the end of the night the staff did a wonderful job of collecting all the items that were ours and storing them for us to pick up the next day. The only suggestion I would make is to allow the guests to take home their left overs. I had a number of guests tell me how disappointed they were that the food they couldn’t eat was going in the garbage. Over all though we received many compliments on how delicious the food was and the overall comment I received was “that was a wonderful venue for a wedding”. Thank you to the Marriott Events Team for an outstanding job.

Our wedding was just as beautiful as I had imagined it would be! My ladies, Erica, Jill and Corrie worked very hard to accommodate my every request. Why so many wedding helpers? Erica became pregnant during my second year of planning and Jill took over her absence and Corrie helped Jill who also had wedding couples that needed her help. You would think that none of this was going to go well, but exactly the opposite happened. Everyone bent over backwards to go out of their way to make our day happen! I am truly indebted to the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge, Illinois for their graciousness to all our guests and especially to my husband and I.

Kelly Schmitz was the glue that brought our entire day together perfectly. She did an absolutely fantastic job working with all of the vendors to live out the vision of what we wanted for our big day. She also went above and beyond with the attention to detail and thoughtfulness through the day (both her and her team). We would highly recommend Kelly to any couple looking to have the best wedding!

From start to finish our experience with the Marriott Burr Ridge was AMAZING. Every detail was accounted for and the service was impecable! All of our guests were so impressed, as were we. Our night was unforgettable and we can not thank Kelly Schmitz, Jill Rinozzi and our wonderful server Barbara, along with the rest of the staff at the Marriott Burr Ridge. This hotel is the whole package for your wedding experience, that will make wedding planning an ease!! It is also a wonderful location for out of town guests too!

We booked a block of rooms for our daughters wedding in June 2018. Had a great experience- people in the sales office worked with me to make sure everything was exactly what we needed. Clean and newly remodeled and great customer service. Had a great experience.

What can I say...from the moment my husband and I walked in to tour the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge to possibly book it for our wedding reception, we were in love... it's similar to a bride picking out her wedding dress, you can't put it in to words, but when you know, you know...this venue had everything we were looking for; from the beautiful grounds, to the elegant yet rustic vibe on the interior...it was absolutely beautiful. not to mention the amazing catering staff. My husband and I were so blessed to have worked with such amazing catering/ banquet/event managers.. Erica, Jill and Kelly... all of who were so wonderfully accommodating and more than willing to help me and my husband with anything and everything due to our chaotic schedules; Kelly even helped with finishing up some favors and putting together our escort table; she asked what I wanted and I told her my vision and she made it happen without hesitation and it turned out perfect! The servers were wonderful, especially Barb; she was there every step of the way to make sure not only us but our guests were well taken care of. It was so refreshing to work with people who are passionate in what they do; it was apparent with how they helped make our dream reception into a breathtaking reality. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the hotel accommodations with room mix-ups, resulting in double charges for some guests and key cards not working, one of which was ours. It was a little frustrating due to the response of the hotel desk clerk when my husband called him to inform him of our key card not working; despite that minor glitch, everything was wonderful and I would highly recommend this venue!!!

We had our wedding reception at Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge and could not have been happier with the accommodating, enthusiastic staff. Shoutout to Kelly for helping us host our dream reception! All of our visions were followed through on and Kelly (and the rest of the amazing staff) made everything stress free and seamless. From reaching out to our vendors to helping us pack up that night and the next day, they could not have been better to work with. I will recommend this Marriott to all of my friends looking for a place to have a wedding, considering its ideal location, excellent staff, and phenomenal food. I can’t wait to be back! My husband and I had our reception at the Marriott Burr Ridge in July 2018. From the start of the planning process we knew that we wanted a hotel venue, but that Marriott was that and so much more. We looked at many other hotel ballrooms in the western suburbs, but none quite made us feel "right" like the Marriott did. The event staff was extraordinary. We worked with a variety of people whom frequently checked in with us to ensure we had everything we wanted / needed to make the day special. We want to especially mentioned Jill and Erica. These two women genuinely cared for my extremely Type-A personality and were sincere in doing so. All the way up to the day of the wedding we felt supported and cared for in every way. I would highly recommend the Marriott Burr Ridge for your upcoming wedding!

We had our wedding 8/4/18 at the Marriott- ceremony and reception. Every.single.thing. about this venue is amazing! The hotel had a semi recent remodel and it’s just GORGEOUS. The staff were outstanding from beginning to end...our (very large) wedding party were so well taken care of and our 200 guests felt very comfortable and also well taken care of. Jill was our partner and I cannot say enough about her. She got “in it” with me and truly felt like a part of the wedding- she handled every small detail and made us feel 100% calm all the time. Everyone says there’s some sort of stress in the day but I have to say, we really didn’t feel anything because everything was handled end to end. I cannot say enough about the ease of this venue and the positive attitudes of the staff. There are so many places outside to take pictures too- it’s set up so great for amazing memorable lifestyle photos. Jill- we cannot thank you enough and wish we could do it all over again LOL :)

We had our Hindu/Catholic wedding weekend here the summer of 2018. We had a pre-wedding event (Garba) with about 250 guests on Friday and our wedding and reception 370 guests on Saturday with - all at the Marriott. When we first came to tour the hotel, we had no idea what to expect - the hotel is kind of hidden and neither of us even knew there was a Marriott in Burr Ridge. But when we arrived in summer 2017 we were pleasantly surprised with the modern renovation that had recently been completed in the entire hotel. We met with Erica who was fantastic, very accommodating, and was super easy to talk to. She listened to our vision and made a custom package for our unconventional weekend that worked within our budget. The hotel had everything we wanted - one ballroom so we were the focus of the staff, a great outdoor patio, and some beautiful ponds and trails right behind the hotel to take pictures. We were really looking for a venue that had everything in one location and where we felt like the priority. We went to a lot of venues that had multiple ballrooms which felt much too hectic. Erica went on maternity leave the three months leading up to our wedding and Jill was our event coordinator. Both were great - easy to work with and very responsive to all our questions - Jill even gave me her cell phone number. It ended up that Erica was back for our event weekend which was nice! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the hotel block and hotel reservation issues we had. We repeatedly had to call the hotel to add more rooms to our block when they filled up. About 3 weeks before our room block cutoff date, some of our guest had trouble booking and the hotel stated they had no more rooms left for us. They very accommodating and quickly shifted some things around and added more rooms. My main issue was the lack of communication, they should have called us to tell us the rooms were booked up and been on top of adding more rooms to the block. We also had a lot of issues of people’s key cards (probably around 10 people) suddenly not working. In the end everything worked out but there was some unnecessary added stress. Overall our experience at the hotel was fantastic. The event staff was all amazing and we had such a memorable, perfect weekend. Jill and Erica checked in with us frequently during the events to make sure everything was the way we wanted. The hotel is beautiful, and we were so happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend the Marriott Burr Ridge!

Corrie was amazing! She made sure the day was perfect and always made herself available for ALL the questions we had in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The venue was perfect- we loved that we were the only wedding there that night and they did such a great job making the space beautiful.

I was impressed with Burr Ridge Marriot from start of the process to finish. We met with Erica initially and she was amazing. Great personality, very informative. We told her what we were looking to do and she helped us achieve our goal. Day of we worked with Jill and Todd. To say the staff is amazing is an understatement. Jill sent me pictures the day before of how the room was looking and gave me her cell number for any questions or concerns. She made sure to check on me throughout the day to make sure everything was how I wanted. The food.. OMG AMAZING!! It is the best "wedding" food I have ever had. I had soo many compliments from my guests on the food. Everything was truly amazing. Not to mention it is an absolutely beautiful hotel.

I cannot say enough good things about the Marriott! They had a remodel on the entire interior hotel a couple months ago and everything is beautiful! It’s modern but also very comfortable at the same time Jill managed a lot of our wedding and she is absolutely amazing! She does everything in her power to make all of your requests happen. She introduced us to all of the staff and they were all so nice. Food was amazing and we got so many compliments from all of our guests. It truly was a night I will never forget and the Marriott made our special day a fairytale. Everything was amazing and I would highly recommend the Marriott to anyone I know!

Having our wedding reception at the Marriott in Burr Ridge was great. Erica was incredible to work with—she was very responsive to all the questions I had during planning and she was there on the wedding day to make sure everything went well for the reception. What I loved about this space is that you’re the only wedding that takes place at this location and they have a beautiful patio area that can be used for the cocktail hour (weather permitting). It was gorgeous weather on our wedding day so guests were able to enjoy the patio for the cocktail hour. We were also able to book several conference rooms to do hair/makeup and other wedding events. The food and drinks were delicious (both at the reception and at the food tasting which was so much fun). I loved that catering was in house, it made everything so much less stressful! The service at this Marriott is great—everyone was very friendly and helpful, and they were fine with us staying late as we knew our wedding would run long into the night. Thanks to everyone at the Burr Ridge Marriott, everyone had a blast!

The Marriott did an absolutely fabulous job with our wedding! We met and started planning our day Erica about a year in advance. We loved that we had so many options (colored linens, flexibility to use outside caterers, being able to provide our own décor) but so much help at the same time. I can’t emphasize enough how special Erica is and what a fabulous job she did orchestrating our wedding day. We had a pre-wedding event, and had TWO weddings in the same day (two ceremonies with brunch, cocktail hour, and reception) and she didn’t bat an eye. From the moment the weekend began, the entire staff was on their toes, insanely polite and courteous, and prepared for virtually anything! We also really enjoyed the new renovation that finished just before our wedding. The neutral and gold tones went so well with our bright colors! And the rooms were well-decorated and comfy. Finally, the prices offered were very affordable, especially for the scale of our wedding, we spent so much less than we would have at other venues in the area and I am confident our experience could not be matched elsewhere.

We cannot say enough great things about this hotel! The staff is wonderful. Erica is a wonderful planner and was there the entire night to make sure everyone was fully taken care of. The ballroom was BEAUTIFUL, and there is availability for outdoor and indoor cocktail hour. The hotel accommodated all of our guests and our families the entire weekend. The food is AMAZING too : )

We had our reception at the Burr Ridge Marriott. Everything was perfect. I was a little nervous leading up to the day because the staff made some mistakes via email with our requests, but everything came together perfectly the day of. We had a reception of 215 and the cost was about $25K (including tip and tax). This included satin lamour linens (including chair covers and ties), votives, mirrors, 5 hour full open bar, 6.5 hour reception, passed appetizers during cocktail hour, soup, salad, bread, entrée, and cake. My guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The staff was particularly attentive to the head table and brought us everything we needed. This is also a nice location because it is close to the city and it is in a hotel. It was convenient for our guests. There is also only enough room for one event per night, so we were the only wedding at the Marriott and did not have to share common space with another group.
