We had the absolute best time having our wedding here. Andrew and sarah were quick to respond to any questions we had. Andrew who was at the wedding went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth. We got married in the beirgarten and it was so beautiful. The arcade was a hit with everyone especially the kids. We look forward to hosting more events here in the future.
Couldn't recommend Chloe's more!
The entire staff was extremely accommodating, from the very first email to the end of our wedding.
A lot of our guests commented on how much they loved the venue. My wife and I felt totally at ease and taken care of during the planning process and the night of the wedding, and we were able to fully enjoy ourselves thanks to the amazing Chloe's crew.
Very grateful to have found such a perfect fit for our special day!
We had our first date at Goldenroad so we knew we had to have our wedding reception at Chloe’s. The staff was amazing and so helpful throughout the process. Our guests LOVED the food and beers! Could not have had a better day!
Any questions?
Having our wedding reception at Chloe's was the perfect choice for our day! We've been fans of Golden Road brewery but never realized there was a speakeasy event space hidden inside, which was such a fun reveal for our guests (both locals and from out of town) who had no idea what to expect. The search for LA wedding venues had been so stressful, but once we found Chloe's, we finally felt like we didn't have to compromise on price or the uniqueness of the venue. We had a lot of guests coming from out of town, and we wanted to have our wedding somewhere that felt unique to LA while reflecting our personalities and interests, and this was the perfect combination.
Additionally, the staff and service were excellent throughout our entire process. We didn't have a wedding planner, so it was a relief working with Sarah and Andrew who were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with information and guidance. Choosing Chloe's overall streamlined a lot of the wedding planning and allowed us to focus on what we wanted instead of being weighed down by too many decisions and details. This included taking advantage of Chloe's already having such fun decor, so we did minimal work for further decorations. This made setup and breakdown on the day so much easier. I also want to compliment the staff and bartenders' amazing personalities because I had multiple guests tell me how fun they were throughout the night dancing along behind the bar. My favorite above and beyond detail: I love the sangria on Golden Road's regular menu, so I asked if it'd be served for our reception. Sarah let me know they typically don't serve it at Chloe's, but she checked with the bar manager and they arranged to have it available for us! It may seem small, but it was so nice of them and felt like such a special and fun detail on the day.
Overall we loved having our reception at Chloe's and would definitely choose it again. The best part now is we get to think about those memories every time we visit Golden Road, and it will always be a special place for us.
Some specs from our day:
- We had just under 100 guests, and everyone fit comfortably across the two levels inside Chloe's.
- The open area right in front of the bar made for a great dance floor. It was enough space and allowed for people to get drinks easily without missing out on the fun.
- We had our speeches right next to the bar as well, and everyone was able to watch either from the second floor balcony or standing around the main floor.
- We found our DJ (DJ Ash via DJ Keelez & Associates) through Chloe's recommended vendor list. This was an excellent choice as DJ Keelez was great to work with and paired us with DJ Ash, who did an amazing job. It was also so well-coordinated because they had an existing relationship with Chloe's so they already knew exactly how setup would go on the day, which was one less thing for us to stress. 10/10 would recommend!
We attended a wedding at this venue and found we found it so lovely that we decided to have our wedding there as well! It was such a phenomenal night, and the staff was so great at serving everyone--and making sure that our night went smoothly.
We loved how the food and drink was included in the bill--making the experience feel very all-inclusive. The food was delicious and there was a great variety of drinks so that everyone had something they'd enjoy drinking for the night. Because of the way the venue is decorated, we didn't have to do much set up, which was really nice to make the wedding less stressful.
All in all, it was a great experience. Chloe's has a great staff, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy venue for their wedding.
Chloe's was more than we expected. Our guests loved the food. Andrew was so great throughout the process and especially the day of the wedding. The other staff were great. They were helpful, and their attitudes were so delightful. They were dancing in the bar area while we danced the night away. My wedding party got ready in the snug. Our ceremony was held in the Biergarten, and dinner and reception were in Chloe's. If I were married again, I would not hesitate to book Chloe's. I would recommend to anyone wanting a smaller, chill wedding.
A sweet blend of affordable, quirky, spacious, and professional. My now-husband and I were down and out before we found Golden Road. LA venues are unforgivingly expensive, and as an LA native, it meant a lot to me to celebrate in and around the neighborhood of my youth. We passed up two different venues—one on Hollywood, the other on Western: they met the price point but simply felt too rough around the edges for a meaningful event. Golden Road offers an all-inclusive approach with excellent professional staff, good food, and a nice selection of beer and wine. It removed much weight from our shoulders, and Andrew J. and Sarah M. were prompt and experienced planners/organizers. We loved, loved our day, and we truly didn’t break the bank (especially with the goodwill of family and friends). At 70-some guests, our wedding felt like the best fit at Golden Road, and their attentiveness to me and my husband on our day-of was unexpected and yet so welcome.
We used Chloe's for both our ceremony and reception, for a small wedding (~45 guests). It didn't feel like a typical wedding venue, which felt more like us and less like we were putting on a show. Sarah helped answer some of our questions via email early on in the planning process, but eventually we were handed off to Andrew because she was going to be out on maternity leave. Andrew was super helpful and patient when we came to tour the venue (a few times - to book, with our coordinator, for a tasting, and one last time right before the wedding) and was always very prompt answering questions over email. The tasting was really great - most of the food exceeded our expectations, and our guests really liked the food on the day-of. The top hits were: the spicy BBQ ribs, salmon, roast chicken breast, superfood kale salad, brussels sprouts, and bruschetta and meatball tray passed appetizers. People also seemed to like the roasted potatoes and strawberry salad, and the churros for dessert. We ordered a la carte vegetarian and vegan lasagnas for guests as well, and our vegetarian friends seemed to enjoy those. The rolls were fine, kind of generic, but good for people to have a base before drinking. We surprisingly weren't crazy about the short ribs at our tasting, so I'm really glad we decided to add the BBQ ribs on at the last minute! Hard to go wrong with the food here, and really nice not to stress out about catering. The bartenders were all really fantastic and the service we got overall was great. I also really appreciated the flexibility in using Chloe's - there was a good window for vendor load-in, they were able to help us arrange some of the furniture where we needed it, and since no one was using the biergarden during our event we were able to pop out there for family photos before the ceremony. We also really like that Chloe's has so much decor as it is - the coolest wallpaper, wooden chairs and tables, not to mention all the vintage art and memorabilia on the walls. They also have string lights up which adds to the ambience, although a few of the light bulbs were dead - hopefully they change them! I noticed that every time we visited, so it's been like that for months, but I consider that a very minor complaint overall. Even though they aren't typically a ceremony venue, using the fireplace as a ceremony altar worked well for us, and I think is definitely doable if you are having a small wedding (like 60 people or less) and are bringing in a day-of coordinator. Our coordinator set up 10 chairs at the front for family, and then everyone else stood around in the main area, while we processed and recessed from the Snug. My favorite part was probably setting up our photo booth in the Snug room, and using that room before and after the ceremony to have a few minutes of quiet time before the party. Parking is also somewhat limited at Golden Road, but we made a Lyft code for our guests and that worked quite well. Chloe's is a fantastic, unique option for an unconventional wedding. They are also very reasonably priced, which is unheard of in the wedding industry - especially in a city like LA. I definitely recommend them for a couple looking for something a little different.
We got married at Chloe’s in Oct. 2022. We booked the private pub and biergarten for both our ceremony and reception. This was actually the first venue we looked at and it was BEAUTIFUL. We instantly fell in love with the pub and all of the cool rooms we were able to use. Our guests really loved it, too. Our on site coordinator was Sarah and she was super helpful. She let me email her with any questions I had at any point throughout our planning process. Our other point of contact person was Andrew who was present with our final tasting and menu selection. He was also able to answer any questions and gave us suggestions to make sure we were able to meet our minimum price requirement. The staff was incredible. Food was fantastic. 10/10 experience.

Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure hosting you and we're happy to hear that you had such a lovely time!
Having our wedding reception here was the best choice we could have made! Sarah made planning and prepping a breeze, and the service during the event itself was outstanding! There was something here for everyone, and between the unique decor, multiple rooms, fun games, food/drink selection, seating options, and dance floor, all our guests had a great time! Plus the pricing was wonderfully affordable with so many included amenities—Chloe's is the best!
Sarah is so great at what she does and made everything run very smoothly, and it was such a pleasure working with her! Because so many things were in flux with the pandemic, her help with the planning was invaluable. She remained communicative, flexible, and accommodating throughout, and in the end we were able to have our event indoors with a/c in the heat of July!
Chef Marie and her team put together amazing food, and there were so many delicious options for every guest's dietary need. People are still talking about how delicious it all was, and I'm still dreaming about it! The food was phenomenal!
So many things added to our unforgettable experience here. This event space is very special, and I look forward to a day in which I can plan another event here!
Chloe's is such a fun choice for a wedding. They have indoor and outdoor spaces, both options are fantastic. We had booked the indoor space and were thrilled to use it until COVID cases started to increase. The team quickly pivoted and arranged for us to move our reception outside. Working with Sarah leading up to the event was very smooth and the team during the event was amazing. The food was also excellent as well as the drinks (it's a brewery after all). The pricing was also very fair. Everything was very clear and we did not feel like we were being overcharged like so many other venues will do when you say you are having a wedding. We truly loved how everything turned out and would highly recommend Chloe's.
We had our wedding BECAUSE of Chloe's. The staff, the venue, the whole thing was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Sarah M helped up in so many ways I can't even count. From the tasting to our millions of questions to finding my brother in law's missing jacket that he left behind, Sarah and the staff at Chloe's made our night easy, classy and magical. This is a hidden gem in Los Angeles and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. You'd be smart to book.
Hands down…the best night of my life!
If you’re at all indecisive about where to hold your big day, look no further.
Chloe’s is the place for you. Plenty of space. Delicious beers and even better food.
I had my wedding reception here in April 2022 for about 50 people. I’m glad I stuck with my gut and booked immediately. As an overthinker, it was amazing to have someone answer every single question without hesitation and put me at ease. Sarah was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. From all the questions, to the tasting and finally the big day, she was a true professional and truly understands how important her job is at putting together the perfect day. The staff was exceptional on the day of as well. No one had any complaints. The day flowed as smoothly as possible.
2 floors. Tons of space. Lots of games. The esthetic is incredible on its own. We used minimal decor due to this and couldn’t be happier.
Food: appetizers: cream cheese wontons, crab cakes, charcuterie board, and pretzel bites. For
dinner, we had oven roasted chicken breast, pan seared salmon and Korean style baby back ribs, Parmesan truffle mashed potatoes, balsamic roasted veggies, baby field greens salad and artisan dinner rolls. In addition to our cake, we also had chocolate covered strawberries, mini churros and mini cheesecakes. Everything was a hit and our
Guests are still raving about it all.
We were able to stream our music playlist from Spotify as we opted to not have a DJ. it was perfect.
The reception we wanted to have was simple, laid back and comfortable. It was just that and more! Truly a perfect day.
Again…book here! You will not be disappointed. I’m still trying to find any and everything excuse to throw another party here!
Chloe’s was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were respectful, honest, affordable, professional, friendly, and the event space was beautiful, clean, dynamic and fun! We can’t recommend them enough and only wish we could get married again to have our reception at Chloe’s all over again! Please do yourself a HUGE favor and let the team at Chloe’s handle your reception and give you the event you only dreamed you could have 😄
Chloe's at Golden Road was everything we wanted in a wedding venue. It's a unique location, and our guests had a great time. The food was OUTSTANDING, which was a top priority for us. We couldn't have been more pleased with the way everything turned out. We had to change our date four times over the past 18 months because of the pandemic, and the folks at Golden Road were so unbelievably accommodating and kind through the whole process. They were also so communicative with our florist and DJ. They were just awesome. We couldn't have chosen a better venue for us, and we are 100% happy we decided to go with Chloe's. More than one of our guests has told us that they've never had more fun at a wedding, including my dad!
Where do I begin? The Golden Road/Chloe’s staff made our wedding day absolutely incredible. It was the happiest day of our lives, in no small part due to these wonderful people.
My husband and I wanted to throw a huge, amazing wedding kegger. All that really mattered to us was having great beer and our friends around us. We are both musicians who play in big bands, so we also wanted some aspect of big band music. We had known for a long time that we were interested in Chloe’s. We’ve spent many wonderful nights eating meals and drinking the awesome beer at Golden Road, and we toured Chloe’s on one of our first dates. It’s adorable, and cool, and unique, and intimate. We originally planned our wedding for October 2020, but had to cancel because of the pandemic. They were incredibly understanding, and helped us reschedule when we decided to book for October 2021. Our only big issue was wondering how to fit a 20-piece big band into Chloe’s. It wasn’t going to work out, so we devised a plan to rent the back beer garden as well. And the perfect solution was born - renting both spaces, and having lots of room for multiple fun wedding-related things. We had the ceremony outside, with the band and photo booth. The food and drinks were set up inside, as well as games and a caricature artist. They also had the arcade games up and running in the barrel room. There was so much to keep people occupied and entertained, and the space at Chloe’s was the perfect location to do it all. Sarah McDermott, the event coordinator, was fantastic. She helped us figure out a price for renting both spaces, and was willing to enter into that experiment (since they hadn’t done that before). She allowed us to come up and take a look at the spaces multiple times for logistics and trying out decor. She was great about the wedding photographer, day-of wedding coordinator, and videographer coming to check out the place as well. She even let us snap our mini engagement photo session there! Our tasting was super fun, the food was incredible, and the staff was kind and enthusiastic. Sarah even threw in some extra party time for us. It went off without a hitch, and our guests can’t stop saying that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. Chloe’s is gorgeous if you want to make it an intimate, elegant, elevated space as well. It’s flexible and can be whatever you want it to be. We happen to be beer people who wanted to throw a beer-themed pub bash, and it did not disappoint. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. You won’t regret having your special day at Chloe’s.
We had an incredible experience having Chloe's host our wedding reception. The space is so unique and special--we still get compliments about how intimate and fun the event was. The entire events team was so accomodating throughout, and particularly with our day-of set-up situation. Sarah is wonderful to work with and made us feel so at ease during our numerous tours, question-answer sessions, food tasting, etc.. They were very open and honest about our budget and helped us plan the right event for us. Day-of, the reception felt seamless. The food was delicious--another compliment that comes up often from our guests. Honestly, Chloe's is the best-kept secret wedding reception spot in Los Angeles and once people discover it, the space is going to blow up and become impossible to book. Do yourself a favor and book! I'm so glad we did!
We had our wedding reception at Chloe's in October 2018 and it was basically perfect. The venue is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. Sarah helped us from start to finish in every way possible. From the first walk through, to booking, food tasting, and then customizing the menu to our needs, every part of it was excellent. EVERY guest raved about the food, and we even got to take the leftovers with us. (Thank goodness because the happy couple never has time to eat anyway!) Chloe's let us make our own itenerary and helped us keep on schedule throughout the night. The upstairs area with the games and pool table was a hit for everyone! We went without a DJ and were able to make ourselves a playlist that was easy to hook up at the venue. My only regret is not taking enough photos!
We had our wedding reception at Chloe's in October 2018 and we couldn't have picked a better place. Abby Ritt was so helpful every step of the way, from food, to drinks, to seating. The venue is two floors, with string lights and the ambiance of a pub thanks to the wood interior. The bottom floor has the bar, the seating, and an additional room in the back that gives you a behind-the-scenes look of the brewery through a glass window. The top floor has additional seating, a pool table, and games. The menu has incredible variety and accommodates a number of dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten free options. The mashed potatoes and ribs are a must, and the eggplant parmesan was a huge hit. In addition to our wedding cake we brought in from Porto's, we had the cookies and the tarts, which many guests had as a topper to end their evening. We opted for an open bar so our guests could take advantage of the wide variety of Golden Road brews. The bar also serves wine, great for the many speeches and toasts. We played our own playlist off our phone, so no need for a DJ. The music doesn't travel well to the second floor or the backroom, allowing for clear conversations in these spaces. Overall, this place is a complete package.
Had our wedding here a couple of years back. Nice, intimate venue. The staff were all helpful and attentive. They saw to it that all of our guests' needs were met and allowed a fair bit of time for us to set up/tear down before/after our event and Abby was an immense help in helping me set up. They went above and beyond by placing someone at the door to stop late guests from entering during the ceremony. I left the venue with some good leftovers and growler of porter.
Only gripe is the cake cutting fee. This is a silly institution that has been allowed to go on for far too long and all venues should be shamed for instituting this, regardless of how awesome they are otherwise. Paying a cake cutting fee is my only regret in life.
First off, love them and the click they claim.
We chose to have our wedding at Chloe's the very same day we toured. The asthetic, the decor and the staff all convinced us that we should have our ceremony AND reception here. You couldn't ask for a better place. Homie and comfy with the air of a British pub. The whole deal is well, a deal.
You get two floors enough to hold 100 people, I think. Ample seating. Big dance floor area with phone hook up so you can play your play list.
But you want to know about the food and drinks!
The food was AMAZING. We are Latinos thus our guestlist consisted of madres, padres, y comadres. The guests may have expected burgers or tacos but what they got they are still talking about. We had broccolini, salmon, ribs, mash potatoes, I forget which salad but it was all amazing. The beer selection was great too something for everyone. They even offered one of their rotating taps for our consumption!
The staff.
Wow. The staff. Sarah, Emily, and Sylvia helped coordinate the planning and getting everything set and ready. Everyone else involved were great, too. Attentive, always going above and beyond. helpful, and above all nice. They ALL made an otherwise hectic and stressful event go smoothly and wonderfully. Thank you!
My husband and I had our wedding at Chloe's in October 2019. Sarah was attentive from the start and helped us pick out menus, work through all the details and even prepared a tasting of the foods. We wend with the taco bar and it was a real crowd pleaser. The entire staff made sure everything went smoothly, and honestly it was one of the most cost effective venues, as they included everything - the food, drinks, venue, tables, and even let us hook up our own laptop to play a playlist for the afternoon. All of the kids loved the upstairs part with games and a pool table. Our guests were having such a great time that when the wedding was over at 5pm, we just moved out into the pub and kept the party going! Sarah answered every question I might have had, and even accommodated a food allergy that one of our guests had. We really couldn't have been happier. Chloe's is a great venue to host a super unique and fun wedding!
We recently had our wedding reception here and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with Abby and the entire Golden Road team. She was quick to answer all emails and made any changes that I asked.
I would highly recommend having your reception here if you're looking for great food, beer, and a cozy venue at a reasonable price. I've attended several events here and could not have asked for a better experience at all of them. Thank you Abby for this wonderful experience!
