Chocolate Passion

Chocolate Passion was one of the baker options that was included in my package deal from my vendor (Heather's Glen). Florencia (the baker) provided an amazing cake testing appointment and discussed my options. At first I was concerned that she wasn't understanding exactly what I wanted, but after talking to her on the phone after out meeting, I was confident she would get the job done. Our wedding cake was a three tier tres de leche cake and it was amazing. I usually do not even eat cake, and I have refused to eat tres de leche after I tasted it the first time because it was soo milky. When I first tasted it at the shop though, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I mean, this woman knows her cake. My husband is an instrument freak and was wanting his grooms cake (clearly we got married in the south) to be a J-185 guitar. We decided to do that one in a chocolate mousse (equally as phenomenal as the tres de leche) and my mind was blown when I saw it. It was nearly a life-size guitar just waiting to be eaten. I knew she did a good job with the design when my husband said that he thought it looked like the real deal (he can be picky). I know I must be blubbering on and on, but seriously, the cakes were divine. Florencia is a cake goddess, and you would be a fool to pass her up if she is in your area.
