Chris Bavaria Photography

Chris was our wedding photographer for our spring wedding (March 18, 2017) in Vancouver, BC. First of all, working with him was blissful and fun. His warm, relaxed style and ability to "get in there" seamlessly, even surreptitiously, made him very easy and calming to have around. Secondly, my husband and I absolutely love the stunning photos. I have always appreciated journalistic photography that captures humans in their candid, genuine states and Chris gave us just that. We couldn't be happier. Having a wedding and booking a photographer? Chris is your man!

We LOVED the photos Chris took at our wedding. In a sea of photographers who all seem to take the same blog-driven, annoying wedding photos, Chris' work really stands out. We have so many amazing candids from the night that really capture the mood. I strongly recommend a second shooter - while Chris was taking a few photos of us right after our ceremony, his assistant got tons of great shots from the cocktail reception .. and I loved seeing everyone during the part of the wedding we weren't able to attend.

Chris is the absolute best. I have never seen more beautiful photos than ours from our wedding day and we feel so fortunate that we were able to work with him! Chris is amazingly artistic and skilled at what he does. He is able to capture beautiful posed photos and amazingly sweet candid shots. Chris' photographs magnificently showcase our special day, from the ceremony, to the preparations, to the celebrations. He is a joy to work with and we would recommend to absolutely everyone we know! Best wedding photographer in Baltimore by far, don't pass on your opportunity to work with him!

Chris was so great! We were planning our wedding long distance and just took a chance on him (based on reviews and his portfolio), booking without meeting him until the day of the wedding. But he went above and beyond all expectations. He was friendly, funny, un-intrusive and laid back. And his photos were exactly what we were looking for - mostly candids, but with the requisite posed family portraits. He has a great eye for catching the moment. Overall, working with Chris was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend his work.

Chris is awesome. Hire him...like, right now. I know this seems dramatic. But, do it. I have known Chris for a few years and he has always been an excellent person. So, When the time came to hire a photographer for my wedding it was a no-brainer. Chris is punctual and organized. He kept in contact with us throughout the planning process and was incredibly flexible. He has a great feel for what staged shots will work well without anything feeling (or looking) forced. Additionally, he has an incredible knack for anticipating an excellent action shot on the fly. Of all of the tough decisions you will have to make in planning your wedding - and there will be many - this is the easiest one you'll make: just call Chris.

We were SO incredibly happy with Chris as our wedding photographer. First, we did a 2 hour engagement session where he drove down to Virginia Beach for us, and was awesome with our dog, we got a ton of photos and they are fantastic quality. We have had MANY people comment on how great they are. It took me hours to sort through and find my favorites, and there were still like 100. He sent us our wedding photos within about 2 weeks of the wedding - I swear he must never sleep. We are still working on going through those photos (I just got them today) but they are awesome quality as well. We would recommend Chris to absolutely anyone. He has an awesome eye for lighting and what looks good - and he wasn't posing us in those awkward prom/senior high school pictures. My husband and I seriously could not rave more about Chris' quality and his professionalism.

Chris had a very laid-back style during our engagement photo session. He allowed my fiance and I to just be ourselves. There were no forced poses, and as a result, all of our pictures looked very natural. Overall, we were extremely pleased!

Chris shot both our engagement and wedding photos- and they turned out better than we could have imagined. He was friendly, professional, extremely talented and he was easily one of the best decisions we made. Thanks so much for capturing our memories!!

My husband found Chris and we instantly loved his portfolio. We hired him right away-he was flexible and dependable. He kept in contact with us for the 9-10 months leading up to the wedding. His style is amazing, honestly his photos speak for themselves-just look at his work! We and all of our family and friends just love the moments he captured from our wedding. I still keep up with his weddings even after ours was over, he has a gift that is easy to appreciate. We got our pictures back quickly and his pricing is incredibly reasonable.
