Simply amazing!! He engaged the crowd and kept people dancing all night long. There was never a time the dance floor was not packed with people.

Chris was excellent. We were in CT And planning a wedding in RI so we talked on the phone and FaceTime during the planning process. He offers you playlists he has created himself to spark ideas and asks for any wants/needs for your playlist. He is so accommodating and listens to your vision - but the best part is he then makes it come to life. We emphasized how once the most important part is over (the ceremony) we then NEEDED the dance floor to be nonstop start to finish. And he killed it. People were actually angry when we had to leave the venue. Something I thought was interesting was his tasks for us. Like picking the last 3 songs. The last 3 songs got our family and friends going like we were just getting started. Thank you Chris!!

We couldn’t be happier that we chose Chris to be our wedding DJ. He was organized and professional throughout the whole planning process, helped us out with recommendations based on experience when we needed guidance, and brought things to our attention we wouldn’t have thought of on our own. Chris is a joy to work with. He's DJ'd a few friends' weddings, so I had heard good things and booked him as soon as I could. He is incredibly professional, and super organized, which helps alleviate any stress since you don't want someone who's loosey-goosey and unplanned on your big day. You'll have a few meetings with him leading up to the big day, he'll walk you through every detail so you don't have to lots of research, you just have to show up and he'll tell you what information he needs from you which makes things easy. The day of, he basically makes sure everything happens when/how it's supposed to happen, which is a great relief. If you're able to free yourself of controlling things and trust him, he'll make sure you have a beautiful day--which we did! I could not have asked for a better person to trust our day with. He did a great job coordinating, he was flexible, he read the guests well and got everyone dancing and made sure everyone had a lovely time. Where do we begin with Chris! First, he made us feel at ease with the whole process. He gave us a lot of good recommendations on songs for our wedding day and he made the process less stressful. He’s very knowledgeable about what songs will get the crowd moving. He’s also very knowledgeable on lighting for the specific venue. He told us exactly what lighting will work best for our venue and it was absolutely beautiful!! Chris killed it on our wedding day!! I couldn’t believe how literally all the guests were on the dance floor and the guests ranged from kids to older folks. They all had a blast!! Everyone, including myself and my husband, was dancing the night away and it made me so happy to see!! Also, the lighting was just amazing and unlike anything I’ve seen at other weddings I’ve been to. I thought it was so unique. Also, after my husband and I walked out into the reception, Chris invited all our guests to dance with us on our intro song which was super unique!! The day after our wedding we had a brunch with our friends and family and they couldn’t stop talking about how great Chris was and how they hadn’t danced like that in a very long time!! If you’re getting married you need to book Chris ASAP!!! You’re not going to regret it!!

From our first meeting together, we knew Chris was going to be our DJ! We had never seen his work before but he came highly recommended so we went ahead and booked a meeting with him. Chris was awesome and very accommodating. From not knowing him at all, it was like we had known each other for years. Chris made us feel extremely comfortable, unbelievably calm, and was able to walk us thru our song choices with ease. Every part of the night was planned out and perfectly executed to a tee. Chris was a pleasure to work with for our 8/23/2019 wedding in Mattapoissett, MA. From the first meeting to our last, he made us feel really comfortable that he was going to do everything he could to make our special day go smoothly. He gave expert advice throughout the whole process without being pushy. Our guests (young and old) danced the entire night away. We can't put into words, how great Chris was at not only our wedding, but through the whole planning process. Talk about someone that truly cares about his clients! There is absolutely NOTHING you could have done better. You were absolutely phenomenal! You worked well with not only us, but our wedding party, guests, and other vendors to ensure a smooth-sailing day. When we wanted to hire a DJ, we thought about someone whom could not only play music, but really direct our special day. Chris Saraiva is a true professional and perfectionist! He made sure to stay in contact with us for months prior, sending us music and different options. On the day of the wedding, he totally killed it! Chris was absolutely amazing! From ceremony to final songs at the reception, the whole day felt so personal and customized to our tastes and personalities. Chris did an amazing job of reading the room, getting people up and dancing, and making sure each event went smoothly and was appreciated by all. As performing arts teachers and directors we can be very particular about music...not to mention all of the tradition Greek music we needed for the Greek part of our family! Chris blended all of our needs and requests perfectly into the evening. We could not have been more pleased - he made our special day a dream come true!

I booked Chris (and his beautiful wife Nelly, photographer) to DJ my wedding and I'm glad i did. He was so easy to work with and really helped me pick songs for every aspect or the wedding. You don't realize just how much music effects your wedding and the overall vibe. You also don't realize how many songs you have to pick out! Chris walked me through everything and gave me so many recommendations. He sends you his spotify lists, recommends artists, genres, songs- everything! Chris provided music during my ceremony (outdoors by the water), cocktail hour, reception, and did lighting. It was beautiful! He also knows how to keep everyone dancing all night long! One thing i loved about Chris and his music- he knew how to appeal to a variety of people and ages. He played a wonderful mix of music that my friends, parents, and grandparents loved. I highly recommend Chris to DJ your wedding! And if you need a photographer- book his wife Nelly! They work amazing together.

We just had our wedding at the Rosecliff Mansion and we are so happy that we had Chris there! There is a small window for vendors to set up at the Rosecliff because it is a museum during the day. Chris was able to set up quickly and his DJ equipment is set up very nicely. He does not leave cords hanging everywhere, it is very tidy and looks very professional. He did a great job getting our crowd dancing and played a lot of different genres of music. We met with him over the phone (we are from out of state) several times before the wedding. He gave us questionnaires to fill out well in advance of the wedding so that we would not be stressed about music selection when the wedding month came. He took into account everything that we requested be played (or not played) and his transitions were smooth from song to song! He really knows how to get the party going and we were so happy to have him!!

Chris was great to work with. He was super organized from the beginning. We love all types of music, so it was hard for us to narrow down exactly what we wanted at our wedding. We also had a very diverse wedding party. Chris was able to take the few songs that we told him we loved and create a great playlist at our wedding that kept everyone on the dance floor! Chris was awesome!! He reached out to us multiple times prior to the wedding to get a feel for our music taste and preferences. From the uplighting, to the microphones for the ceremony, to the cocktail hour music he was great! He is totally professional and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.

Chris was so amazing and easy to work with! We got married during the busy season (summer time) and he always made time for us to meet up and chat. He is organized, experienced, and knows how to make you laugh when you need it, especially at the end of planning. When we originally hired Chris, we expected to leverage his experience as a DJ and providing uplighting services. What we received in return was so much more, including a wedding planner, confidant, and most importantly a friend. To say Chris exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. His organization and proactiveness takes the stress out of the months and weeks leading up to your big day. We were also impressed with how available he was for us given our availability during the week was limited to late evenings given our work schedules. One of our primary goals for our wedding night was to ensure our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. We placed that burden on Chris very limited input on the type of music we wanted and boy did he deliver!! He truly has the range to appease to any type of audience you can imagine! Chris' value does not end there. Chris takes all the worries and stress out of the wedding day itself. As many people told us leading up to it, the actual day does fly by and you will be pulled in various directions. I explicitly remember asking Chris at one point during dinner what was next and he simply replied, "Don't worry about, go enjoy yourself and I will find you when I need you." I get it, sounds simple right? But I can't tell you how much that meant to us to just let go of everything and focus on enjoying OUR day. I can't recommend Chris enough...but don't take my word for it. Schedule some time to meet Chris and see for yourself. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!!

Worst decision we made for our wedding. I could go on and on and continue to cry about how Chris missed the mark. I will just say this, everyone we spoke to about the music at our wedding commented on how bad it was so we know it was NOT OUR FAULT.

Best DJ, I’ve been to 5 weddings with Chris as the DJ and every time it’s an incredible night. When it was time to pick our music I knew right away both me and my wife wanted to go with Chris, he makes the experience stress free organized and professional. all of the guests keep telling us to this day how amazing the music flow and selection was. Chris was extremely organized and professional. In terms of content, he had a great sense of the appropriate music for every part of the night, and stayed away from the sort of cliched and overused wedding staples that many DJs fall back upon.

Amazing DJ! We have been to numerous weddings with Chris as the DJ over the years so when it was our turn to tie the knot we knew who to call. From beginning to end he helped with every little music detail and really kept the party going all night long! We’ve received many compliments about him from our guests since our wedding. Chris was amazing!!! Honestly when my husband and I said we wanted dancing all night, we got it. Chris was so amazing at reading the wedding vibe. Chris did something I’ve never seen at a wedding, after introducing the wedding party and had everyone join on the dance floor and it set the tone for the wedding!! We danced all night! We got married in June, and every time we see someone or all our friends are together they say that our wedding was awesome, because the DJ rocked it!! No one sat! Everyone was on the dance floor! That’s what we told Chris we wanted and he surely delievered! If you’re lucky enough to get Chris to provide your entertainment, Do not hestiate!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Chris was suggested to us by his wife, who was also our wedding photographer, Nelly. When she gave us his card she said "no pressure, just an option for you to consider." SO happy she suggested him :) My husband and I went to Chris' home to sit and meet/get to know one another and immediately we knew we didn't need to meet with any other DJ's. Chris was funny, warm and personable. He asked questions so he knew exactly what type of wedding we were having, what sort of vibe we were looking for, what the age demographic was of our wedding guests so he could ensure he had a little something for everyone. He sent us "homework" to complete for each of our 3 meetings prior to the wedding. Don't freak out!, It was FUN homework, homework that made your wedding planning easier. My husband and I had a few date nights just sitting at home listening to music and choosing music genres for our wedding. The best part was we didn't have to really choose music, we filled out the questionnaire and Chris brilliantly chose the music. Chris suggested a timeline of events so that everything was planned for a smoothly transitioned reception and it went exactly as planned. He gave us reasons for his suggestions and every one of them made sense. Chris' energy at our reception was fantastic. There was not one song we (or our guests) did not LOVE. The dance floor was always packed and jumping. Every one of our guests has told us how much fun our wedding was, some even said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. While food and site are important, if you don't have a DJ that keeps the party going your wedding can't possibly be fun. OUR WEDDING WAS FUN. We wanted to do it all over again the following weekend! I cannot say enough about Chris, his professionalism, his knowledge, his personality, his humor and just the fact that I'm pretty sure he is by far the best DJ out there. Hire him, you will not be disappointed...be ready to dance your butt off...ALL night long.

Chris was the best DJ. He had the dance floor packed at all times during our reception, and he even surprised us with an awesome treat before my wife and I’s first song. Chris was always available to meet in person or on a video call. He was always punctual and always responded to questions right away. We all now how important follow ups are when planning a wedding. Chris guided on us on finding the right entrance songs for our parents and he came up with great ways to introduce some of the important people in our lives. Chris was always prepared and help create our perfect wedding with his uplighting. I will miss communicating with him while planning our wedding. Chris was the DJ at my wedding at the Bohlin in Newport, RI in June and did an amazing job! Not only did he exceed our expectations at the reception, he was also great to work with throughout entire process. He was very organized and attentive, scheduling several check-in meetings with us leading up to the wedding and assisted us with choosing songs that fit our personalities and style. He kept everyone out of their seats the entire evening and we received great feedback from guests for weeks after the wedding. Let me start off this review by just pointing out what skillful professionals Chris and Nelly are. When my wife and I first planned our wedding we had originally intended to have a destination wedding, but due to unforeseen family health isssues we had to arrange a local wedding in about 3 months. We were so overwhelmed, but with the guidance of Chris and Nelly, everything turned out perfect! Their ideas and suggestions really helped make our wedding what it was. Our family and friends danced all night, and after the wedding many of them called to express how much fun they had. Chris is such a great MC and really understands his crowd and how to get people on the floor. He is very outgoing and I believe people sense his vibe. As for Nelly, We feel like she is truly an artist. Her technique for photography is unreal, and her images are definitely on par with anything you might see in a famous magazine. On our wedding day, it was pouring rain, and we were so worried about where we were going to take pictures and how they would turn out. Nelly really stepped up and eased our concerns and found an amazing place for photos. Chris and Nelly are really a brilliant and talented team and we would recommend them to any couple getting married who wants an exceptionally beautiful wedding.

The first time we met Chris, we instantly clicked. He was very personable, down to earth, and professional. Chris helped us every step of the way to ensure that we had an incredible evening. Our meetings with Chris were always very productive (not to mention fun). Chris is the best and more!! He is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When I think of a wedding, one of the first things I think about is the DJ. My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Chris. He really gets to know you on a personal level and listens to your requests, likes, and dislikes. From the moment we met with Chris, he couldn’t have been more professional and helpful planning our wedding. He was very detail oriented and met with us multiple times before the big day which helped put our mind at ease. One of the things we liked most about him is his honesty- he told us when our ideas would not work as we envisioned, and advised us against different add-ons that other companies would have pushed for. On the big day, Chris did a great job of keeping us on track and checking in with us periodically. He worked with my husband to organize a surprise dance for me and pulled it off successfully. Once the dance floor opened, it was packed until closing time! We definitely recommend Chris for all events!!!

When we first met with Chris we had already heard from many that he was a great DJ. We sat down with him and you could already tell he knew what he was talking about. He told us that he wanted to incorporate songs that we liked and gave us a "must play list" but asked that we don't box him in and to let him have the ability to also be creative. He worked with us on a playlist that we specifically wanted for cocktail hour to bring our personality to our wedding, but also let us know his honest opinion when it came to the playlist we wanted for dinner (it was a bad playlist). He said "Do me a favor and play that playlist at dinner one day with your parents and look for their reaction". Chris was so patient with me even when I was being slightly crazy. The day of our wedding was perfect thanks to Chris! He was one of our vendors that I had no stress or worry about. I trusted him 100%. The music at the wedding was perfect for the crowd. Chris told us from the beginning "I want your guests wanting more at the end of the night, I don't want to see people sitting down and tired". After the last fast song (which we let him pick and he picked the best song) our guests were pumped up and a few even asked for more. That made us feel great! You want your guests to enjoy themselves at your wedding, the music will make that happen and Chris will make them want even more.

Chris brought down the house! Everyone loved him - will definitely use again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with when it came to planning the structure of our reception and the the music to keep everyone on the dance floor all night long. Even though we live in a different state than Chris, he was always available to answer our questions and we had multiple phone meetings throughout the planning process to go over logistics. Chris is truly dedicated to ensuring your event goes off without a hitch and does everything he can to go above and beyond your expectations. One of the most frequent compliments we received after our wedding was how great the music was - with many of our guests noting that they had never spent so much time on a dance floor. We can’t thank Chris enough and would highly recommend him for you own wedding / event.

Chris was great to work with. We shopped around, and, although Chris wasn’t the cheapest, he made us feel the most at ease. Chris is thorough in the preparation phase. We met over the phone 3 times, which allowed us to gradually decide what we wanted the ceremony and reception to feel like. My husband I respected how he gave his opinion, but we always knew we had the final say. On the day of the wedding we knew we didn’t need to worry about the music and could focus our energy on enjoying the moment. The dance floor was packed the whole time. What else could you ask for?!?

The DJ was the second most important vendor for my husband and I. We are so happy that we went with Chris! We have been to a few weddings and most of the time the dance floor is not packed the whole night and the music is just okay. We expressed these concerns to Chris and he did NOT let us down. From entrances to the last dance, our dance floor was packed and the music was exactly what we wanted. He was so good that people texted us the next day saying it was the best music they have heard at a wedding and I have already sent Chris's information to a few friends getting married next year. Using Chris for our wedding was such a great decision. For my husband & I we are easily overwhelmed when it comes to music and we let Chris know that in which he gave us so many pointers to help us think about what we would want to play for our entrance songs, cake cutting, etc. The rest was up to him and we were not let down at all. So many of our friends & family danced the night away. We met with Chris a few times prior to the wedding via in person/phone call/email. He was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Hi my name is Sasha and I got married on 9-23-17. Our #1 priority when choosing a DJ was to keep our guests up on the dance floor all night! We didn’t have to look far because Chris had DJ’d my sisters wedding in 2011. From that day I knew I wanted Chris as our DJ. So about a month into my engagement I had contacted Chris hoping he had our date available. I was nervous because September being such a popular month I was sure he would have been booked! WOW, What can we say about Chris that captures what a true blessing it was to have Chris be our DJ. My husband and I could not have been happier with his services. We had some unique circumstances and hurdles to give Chris and he worked with every one of the. First we had lots of different names for our wedding parties as a same sex couple and Chris helped us with figuring out how to announce the "best woman" and "groomsmaids" We were married on my parents farm and he worked hand in hand with my father to work on setup, ways to get electrical to the middle of the field, and did site visits with us several times to plan it all out. Chris is meticulous which was extremely helpful when planning with our caterer and he collaborated with her as well to make the serving seamless with things like the first dances and the cake cutting. We told Chris we wanted songs edited to do a grand entrance and he made it happen. He was honest with us about what we could accomplish which I thought was rare because people often will not be honest with you about your wedding day, and it made the entrances so much better than we even initially planned. When I wanted to do a surprise dance with dancers and specific lighting, Chris just said "Of course, what are you thinking? Lets talk again on the phone." Everything was perfect and on the wedding day people were begging Chris to stay, so much so that they were all collecting money to just pay him without telling my husband and I. Chris is truly the most talented individual and someone I highly recommend for your wedding, or any other event where music, lighting and hosting are talents that you need. We ended up doing the Dj services with the up lighting package and again we could not have been happier! I had been a very stressed out bride since it's been a rough couple of years in my family. The last thing I wanted to do was plan a wedding, but our date was steadily approaching. Hiring Chris was the absolute best decision we made. He sets up 3 meetings and has an online spot to fill out your information. Your "homework" after one meeting is to fill out a bunch of songs on his website. That "homework" was actually kind of fun, jamming along to some of my favorite music. Did I really just say that, I had fun doing wedding stuff?? Yes, yes I did (thank you, Chris). Due to family drama I had to change a parent dance legit the night before the wedding. I emailed him around like 10pm.... 20 MIN later (10:20pm) he already emailed me back that he will take care of it. My anxiety vanished I knew he would take care of us (thank you Chris). At the actual wedding he is clever with how he gets people on the dance floor and EXTREMELY helpful to us. He was there telling us what was next, where we should be, and anything else we needed to know. He read the crowd and played the music that he knew would keep people up and dancing. If you want people to have fun at your wedding - if you want the planning part to not hurt so much - I would 100% recommend Chris. There is a reason he wins all kinds of awards. They should speak for themselves but they don't need to because look at his amazing reviews. This one included. He's a rockstar!

First things first, Chris is not "just a DJ", he is so much more than that! We were at our friends wedding when we saw how he kept the night going and the dance floor packed the entire time, from the little kids to the older guests, and we were like "wow! if we ever get married, we need him!". We are happy to say Chris was our DJ for our wedding a couple of weekends ago and we can not thank him enough! Having the first, second and final meetings leading up to the big day, really helped keep us on track with timing without making it feel overwhelming. Like i said, he's not just a DJ, so not only did he keep the music going and the dance floor full of energy, he kept me and my husband where we needed to be when we needed to be there! From the cake cutting, to the fireworks, to the last dances - he helped to get us there!

Chris is the BEST wedding DJ!!! He was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day! He rocked the house and had our guests dancing all night until the very last song!! We also did our uplighting through Chris. It was beautiful and added the perfect touch to our wedding reception room. The announcements, music and uplighting was PERFECTION!!! We are so fortunate we chose Chris to DJ our wedding. He was incredibly professional and made the process completely stress free for us. The dance floor was packed the entire night and all of our family and friends had the best time. He is the best at what he does.

Chris was the DJ at my wedding at Aldrich Mansion in RI 4/22/17 and did an amazing job! My husband and I could not be happier with our decision to choose Chris as our wedding DJ.
