Im'a cut to the chase. You're probably here after looking at dozens of these pages, trying to pick the perfect person to document this time in your life. Heck, this is such an important season, and you deserve THE VERY BEST.
But what does that look like? Well...it's different for everyone. But my clients in particular are looking for a safe space for intimacy and laughter, a place where they can just be themselves. They get pumped about unposed and candid moments and put their trust in my creative vision. They want a gallery that is filled to the brim with emotion, and unique imagery that will withstand the test of time.
And if you’re like a good 50% of my couples, you’ll likely be thinking “ughhh, but we’re so awkward in front of a camera. How are we going to get these authentic and beautiful photos you speak of?” Trust me, friends. I have a process that is designed to take your mind off me, and put your focus right back on the moment with your love. And when you get your images, you’ll feel ALL THE FEELS of that moment all over again. I’m detail oriented and a bit of a ninja, so I can assure you I won’t miss any of the love, nor the behind the scenes frames that will help you relive your day time and time again. Just think of me as your photo documenting, schedule keeping, dress fluffing, cheerleading wizard with a camera.
Besides being in your personal space, I love being outdoors either hiking or hammocking with a good book, ice cream shops, live concert venues, and bubble baths. And while I love each of these places whole heartedly, as well as jet-setting around the world, I believe adventures can only truly be measured by the lessons learned along the way and the people beside you.

We loved working with Christie Heimbach Photography for our wedding! Communication with Christie and our photographer Skye was super easy and quick - Christie always responded promptly to texts. We used an associate from her team, Skye, as our photographer which was a great option for our budget. The quality of Christie’s work is gorgeous - she has an amazing editing style that really brought out the best in our photos. For our rainy engagement shoot, Skye went the extra mile, trekking into mud and rain to capture candid shots of us laughing together. She made us feel at ease in front of the camera, guiding us into flattering poses while still keeping things lighthearted. We are obsessed with how our photos turned out - Skye perfectly captured the joy of our big day. They gave us stunning images we'll treasure forever. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a talented, personable wedding photographer!
Christie and her team are nothing short of exceptional. Not only is her expertise and vision apparent in her work, but her personality makes it so easy to bring out the best in her clients, blending elements of playful and professional seamlessly. We first saw her photographs at our friend’s wedding, and it was a no-brainer when it came to who to hire for ours. Since then, multiple members of our wedding party have gone on to book their weddings with her, as the experience and the product speak for themselves. We did our engagement, wedding, and most recently maternity photos with Christie and her team, as we fully trust memorializing our most important moments with her. I have recommended her to anyone who is looking for a photographer who captures authentic moments, prioritizes your needs and preferences, and is a delight to work with.
Christie and her team truly captured our perfect day. The team was amazing for creative content, as well as capturing our vision. They did amazing with our two pups and even got in the freezing cold ocean with us at the end of the night. Me and my now husband, felt extremely comfortable and relaxed through the entire process. I would recommend Christie and her team to anyone getting married and looking for photos in the NJ/PA/MD area. Everyone says how extraordinary our pictures turned out. We were also one of the first couples to have Jade record and create our video. Although we haven’t received the final product yet, Jade’s shots caught an authentic view of our relationship and day. We have no doubts of the amazing video we will cherish forever!

Christie was absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Talking to her before the wedding, she was so enthusiastic and literally matched my level of excitement. She took the time beforehand asking me questions about my husband and I to get to know our personalities, the dynamics of the family and what type of photos we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she showed up exactly when she said she would and she didn’t waste a single second. She immediately started taking pictures. I only had her for two hours but so many photos were taken!! She incorporated every photo that we wanted and she also posed us for a bunch as well. She’s very sweet and creative and made the picture taking process so easy and fun! We got the photos back extremely fast and the editing on them was GORGEOUS! The quality was so clear. I would honestly hire her for every event. 10/10 recommend :)
Christie is an absolute gem of a person, SUCH a talented and creative photographer and a total breath of fresh air amidst all the many nerve-racking elements of planning and executing a wedding.
When I initially reached out and learned she split her time between Lancaster and New Jersey, it felt like a match made in heaven for my husband and me (Philly residents planning a Lancaster-area wedding). Her excitement at the prospect of being our photographer was palpable in a way that actually felt genuine, and we were so relieved that she was available for our date.
After booking her for our wedding (and leveraging her great local vendor recs), she gladly met us at our favorite nature preserve near Philly and made our complimentary engagement shoot a fun and relaxed experience, returning woodsy photos that felt true to us: two lowkey, reserved-but-goofy-once-you-get-to-know-us people who had never been professionally photographed.
Her laid-back yet professional energy continued through the months leading up to our wedding. As someone who's very detail oriented, I really appreciated her attention in helping us create the best schedule to accommodate our large wedding party and make sure we got all the kinds of photos we most wanted while being the most present with our loved ones. Of all the vendors we'd taken the leap of faith to book, I felt the most totally confident in her abilities and knew that she would have our back through it all.
When our wedding day ended up being graced with the luck of hurricane-level wind and rains, she helped me stay calm and positive and stick to the plan as well as possible, expertly switching gears where needed to make it all happen and keep the day on schedule. As promised, she showed up ready for anything in her umbrella hat, and she got so many absolutely gorgeous photos of us in the rain underneath (and throwing to the side) our clear umbrellas.
When it cleared up later in the day, we got more of the outdoor scenes we were hoping for and some great reception + sparkler shots, too. She truly captured all the emotion and love we felt on that day, from the dad/daughter and bride/groom first looks to the "I dos" and cake cutting to the first dances -- all the tears and the smiles and everything in between.
One of the most iconic shots and a favorite of ours required her to run across the wet, muddy property while we stood on a bridge -- her dedication and artistic vision are simply unparalleled. (She was also great at coraling and guiding our family members and aforementioned large wedding party for group photos in the midst of the inclement weather!)
Her turnaround time was impressive for both the sneak peak and the full gallery (800+ photos!), even as she was busy getting married herself. My maid of honor commented that even she has no idea when or how we managed to take all of the glorious photos we did, to which I say: Christie's husband may be the official magician, but I firmly believe she is one, too!
From the excited initial correspondence over a year out from our September 2023 wedding to the very thoughtful wrap-up email she sent a few weeks ago, the amount of time and energy she dedicates to each client paired with all of the above puts her in a league of her own. Absolutely 1000% recommend booking her far in advance to be sure you are in the greatest of hands for capturing your special moments!
Booking Christie and her team for your wedding is going to be the best decision you make! From our initial consult, to the easy planning sessions, to the wedding day, Christie was a joy to work with. Honestly, it was just great getting to hang out with her pre-ceremony. This girl is literally so cool!
My wedding day was VERY windy, but the way she used the wind to make dynamic beautiful pictures made the 35mph gust worth it. On top of that, my fiancé and I are quite shy, but she really made the photo shoots a lot of fun. She had great prompts to make the photos seem candid and made everyone feel comfortable.
I LOVE the mix of styles of photos we received in our collection. Some of the more artistic photos ended up being my absolute favorites.

Christie was an absolute dream to work with. She was so easy to talk to right from the beginning. She answered any questions my husband and I had and really talked us through the process of our wedding day. Of course your wedding day can be stressful and overwhelming, but she took all those feelings away. She made taking pictures so fun and comfortable and the hours of photos truly flew by! I felt like I had known Christie for years by the end of the day. The night of our wedding she even gave us a sneak peek of 60 photos!! We were so excited to look at them and it made receiving the rest of the photos that much more exciting. She is truly an incredible photographer and an incredible person!!

Christie was absolutely amazing to work with and is so very talented! From the very beginning, she was communicative and so very excited to work with us. Even though she was in the process of planning her own wedding and photographing many other weddings, I felt as though she prioritized us and answered every question we had leading up to our big day. I felt so at ease the day of our wedding knowing that Christie and her team were photographing every moment of our day for us. I feel very fortunate to have had such a wonderful experience with Christie photographing our wedding and I cannot say enough good things about how she captured our love for each other. She's the absolute best!!!
Christie will forever be remembered as one of the best parts of our wedding, hands down. She has too many invaluable people/human skills to want to objectify her, but if I were forced, I’d say she would easily be considered one of the best (if not THE best) investments we made for the wedding. Our wedding party and guests have even made similar comments. I will recommend her to anyone ever looking for photographer needs for the rest of my life. I actually hope she’s into newborn photoshoots, because I’ll be reaching out for our next photography need 😂
Christie was easy to feel comfortable with getting personal from the first phone conversation, which allowed her to have the best idea of what I was looking for and how to work with us best. She also recommended our videographer and we were very happy with his work as well (Zach Sowers). They even worked together to get the most beautiful floating veil shot I’ve ever seen - if it doesn’t win awards, I may have to start a protest- it’s that good. The end results are more than we could have wished for and I had very high expectations from the start regarding photography. I’ve already ordered >30 metal prints for around our house because these photos deserved to be looked at for a long long time! Thank you for capturing our day so exquisitely, we are forever grateful! And thank you for fitting in with our kind of strange so easily- it made the process all the better!
Christie is the absolute best. I don’t have enough good things to say about her! She made us feel so comfortable during the entire process! Her pathetic really spoke to me, and it was exactly what I was looking for. From the first phone call I knew she would be the perfect fit to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. She was professional but so fun! Our guests even commented on her bubbly personality and killer dance moves (all while snapping photos)! Honestly cannot wait to work with her again!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words - so one of my main goals when setting out to choose a photographer for our wedding was to find the photographer that would capture and preserve the moments of love, laughter, and warmth on our wedding day. Christie Heimbach and her team did just that. Christie and her team really understood our vision for documenting our wedding - a combination of the traditional posed photos, but plenty of emphasis on capturing the personalities of people we love most enjoying themselves on our big day.
I also wanted to choose a photographer who would be comfortable to work with - after all, you spend much of your wedding day with them and if you are doing an engagement shoot, even more time beforehand. We spoke to several photographers before finding Christie, but as soon as we got on the phone with her for our initial consultation, we knew we had to hire her. Her care and enthusiasm in her work really bring each photo to life.
Now - just 8 weeks after our wedding day, we received our final edits (over 1000 of them!) and looking at them made us feel transported back to our perfect wedding day. Now the hard part begins - deciding which ones to frame and hang up on our wall (after all, we only have so much wall space ;) )!
When I think of Christie, my heart immediately feels full - what an absolutely lovely human, and what an absolutely incredible photographer. From the first email she sent me, I knew I'd hire her, and honestly wanted to be friends with her. Warmth and joy just emanate from her, and that warmth and joy extended to our wedding day. To start, she was a joy to work with, and very communicative. She was the only photographer I talked to who specifically mentioned back-up plans in case something should happen to her (Covid, car accident, etc.) on our wedding day, and who mentioned how our photos are backed up and securely stored. Her thoroughness and professionalism really made an impression, and I asked her to photograph our wedding that very day. I ended up spending more on photography than I had initially budgeted for, but I can honestly say it was 1000% worth it, and I now have a better understanding of how much good photography actually costs. There is a difference, and as far as photography goes, I actually thing Christie's pricing is very reasonable for the incredibly high quality of her work.
I was pretty nervous about being photographed so much, because I don't think of myself as being photogenic. I am a curvy girl, and almost all wedding photographer portfolio's have only very thing women, so it was hard for me to imagine looking as beautiful as they did. I literally cried when Christie sent the photos, because my first thought was "Oh my gosh, I look beautiful." The photos are more beautiful than I could have even imagined. More than that, Christie (and her second photographer Ally), captured the joy and silliness of the day. When I looked at the photos, all the feelings of the wedding day came back in the most beautiful way. We had to move our wedding up due to my mom's serious illness, a fact Christie knew - she took so many beautiful photos of my mom, with me, with our family, and I treasure them immensely.
Christie and Ally really added to our wedding day because of how fun and engaging they were. They played games while taking photos, keeping everyone genuinely laughing and having a great time. If you are a bride planning your wedding, stop your photographer search now and call Christie - it will be the best wedding decision you make!!
Skye and Christie were so great! Our engagement shoot turned out amazing. At our wedding itself, which was outdoor, we had a thunderstorm roll through which was challenging on many levels. Skye took control of the situation and got us some incredible shots in and around the rain. Christie’s edits were so good and we got so many amazing shots. We were blown away!! Highly recommend.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Christie. Her skills are truly top notch. She makes daunting the process of taking a million pictures feel like breeze. She coaches you through different scenarios or poses that might feel a little bizarre at the time, but gives you the most amazing photos. Christie is so friendly and charismatic and brings an amazing sense of calm to one of the most stressful days. She is very organized and professional, and always responds to questions quickly. Christie was an absolute dream to work with. We could not have picked a better photographer to capture our special day. From initially booking her, to the engagement photo session, all the way to the big day, she was incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. She was responsive with emails pertaining to any questions I had, and also had checkin-in phone calls along the way to go over timelines, family portraits, etc. She also has multiple back-up memory cards and hard drives, making it impossible to lose any of your photos due to technology failures. All of these things are what you want and expect from a photographer, but the quality that made Christie stand out most was her personality. She made us feel so comfortable on a day of potentially high stress and anxiety. She is the best and makes you feel more like a friend rather than just another client. Not only are her photos and editing style beautiful, but she is someone you enjoy having by your side for the entire day.
We absolutely love Christie! We knew (even before we booked our venue) that Christie just had to be our photographer. Not only are her photos absolutely gorgeous, but Christie is an absolutely wonderful person. She goes above and beyond to help her clients in the lead-up to the wedding and on the wedding day (even down to hand-cleaning my dress when it got muddy!) Because your photographer is someone you spend most of the day with, it was nice to have Christie and her team (shout out to the amazing Harley) be there to lighten the mood, help with nerves, and bring the hype to the day. If there were 10 stars to rate her, we'd give her 11!
OMG! We cannot say enough amazing things about Christie. She is absolutely incredible and we cannot imagine having anyone but her as our photographer. Christie came with the most upbeat and fun attitude and even had some of our older family members complimenting her on her approach and professionalism. She made the day easy, fun and relaxed and worked with our timing to document the moments that we wanted captured.
As a a professional photographer myself, photography was at the top of my list for amazing vendors and we picked the best of the best!
We had 2 ceremonies on the same day, and a full reception and she captured every amazing detail. From the jewelry and opulence of our Nigerian Ceremony, to sweet moments laughing during the speeches and everything in between. If we could have told her exactly what we wanted, she delivered that and more; she got it all and so much we didn't even know we wanted, but needed. We would hire Christie again and again and again and will be recommending her forever.
We will be reliving our day through her images for a lifetime, and we are so so grateful.

Christie is so easy to talk to and makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. She took our wedding day and brought it to life in photos. She envisioned so many photo ideas unique to our venue. She is extremely considerate of what you want and does everything to recreate ideas you may have. I highly recommend her for your photography needs!
Side note: besides being a wonderful photographer she is also a wonderful person. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and is incredibly personable and easy to work with.

There are many amazing photographers in the world--artists whose keen eye and sharp editing skills deliver world-class results that capture the magic of your special day. But in my experience, many photographers forget the humanity in front of the lens, the fact that most couples aren't models and need encouragement and a safe place to be photographed. Christie Heimbach Photography delivered the best of both worlds. Our wedding photos are beautiful, more than we ever expected. They allow us to relive our wedding. But most importantly when thinking about our experience with Christie, I remember how comfortable she made my husband and me feel. My whole wedding party. My family. We all experienced (and continue to talk about) Christie's world-class people skills married with her artistry. We are so thankful and cannot recommend her enough.

I mean, if you're not working with Christie or any of her associates, then what are you doing? My husband and I worked with Christie and her associate Emily for our wedding, and truly we can say that they were a vital part of the day, and made our experience much more special. It was a smooth process of signing the contract, figuring out the payment timelines, and scheduling calls. We couldn't figure out how to do our day of the timeline but when I met with Christie a couple of months before the wedding, she made our timeline in 30 seconds. Furthermore, Christie has a great mix of being professional, yet personable. She and Emily were flexible with our posing and photo want for the day. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather, but even if the weather hadn't cooperated, I knew we were still in great hands because Christie always has backup ideas/poses for any weather element.
I highly recommend Christie! Her associate Ally shot for us and we are over the moon happy with our pictures. We get complimented and asked who our photographer was constantly. From ease of communication, to speed and quality, all around wonderful experience working with her and her team. We are so happy!

Christie was so amazing from day one! I remember our first phone call we had, and how it felt like I was talking to someone I’ve known forever. Aside from the incredible services Christie provides, she's just an all around wonderfully kind, supportive, and hilarious person. You (really) spend all day with your photographer, and Christie was super fun to be around, went above and beyond, and was the most down-to-earth, go-with-the-flow person, even during hot and humid Pennsylvania weather and a rain scare. We believe that a photographer can really impact your day in a positive way and if we could go back and do it all over, Christie would be the person we'd choose again without hesitation. Christie is the absolute best photographer to work with and who also happens to capture amazing moments with ease. She met us outside of Philadelphia for our beautiful engagement spot (her suggestion) and then for our wedding day in Hallam, PA. Before we met Christie we were not the couple to take a ton of pictures. HOWEVER, Christie made us feel so comfortable from the beginning and made everything fun. She knew how to pose us that made our pictures look natural and not look posed. We are not naturals in front of a camera, but with her guidance and abilities it looked like we were! We enjoyed every moment! She was incredibly efficient for our wedding day helping to build our timeline for photos, that it left us plenty of time to enjoy the day with our family and friends. Afterwards sitting and looking at our photos there are moments that I did not even know happened as a bride that she captured and knew would be special to me. You will not be disappointed, and we plan to have Christie take our photos in the future. <3
Christie was a DREAM of a photographer for our wedding. I am SO thankful that I chose her!!! Christie was sweet, fun, made my husband and I feel super comfortable & most importantly, she was an INCREDIBLE photographer. She just creates magic with that camera. Honestly, she was the best decision I made when planning our wedding. I was just so happy with how the day went when taking photos, but I was even more pleased after I got the photos! My husband and I would highly recommend Christie as a wedding photographer. We were unable to meet in person before the wedding (since we live out of state) which made us initially a little nervous, but she SO exceeded our expectations. She was very easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions, and made us feel very unique and special! Her outgoing and easy-going personality really allowed us to fully enjoy our day as well. She was open for creative ideas that we had for photos, but also used her own artistic style to create some non-traditional wedding photos in addition to the traditional ones. 10/10 would recommend.

I don't even know where to start with Christie!! She was amazing to work with from day one! From our rainy engagement session to our blistering hot wedding day, she made getting pictures so much fun and unique. If you want someone who can tell a story in pictures, with some of the most stunning shots you can imagine, you need Christie. We wanted a new spin on old school for our wedding, classic shots in fun and new ways, and she more than delivered- we didn’t hire a videographer and looking back we didn’t need one. Christie can tell the whole story of your wedding and your emotions, no video needed and far more beautiful if you ask me. Plus she’s just so much fun to work with, from her personality to the prompts she gives us to get the best shots. I truly cannot recommend a photographer more highly!
Christie is a 5-star photographer across the board! Beyond her portfolio being absolutely stunning, she really knows how to make her clients feel taken care of. We got engaged at the height of the pandemic in June 2020 and were so nervous about how to navigate the different vendors when you couldn't meet anyone in person. Christie was so warm and welcoming on the phone and walked us through all the questions we had. Our engagement shoot was a year later, which I absolutely recommend doing for a few reasons. Not only do you get beautiful shots at a gorgeous location (which she'll help recommend if you need!), but you get to play around with the lighting, poses, etc and become more comfortable in front of the camera if you're a bit shy like I was. Christie helped us discover the angles we loved, unique posing ideas that felt very natural and fun, and was super receptive to making sure we loved everything. Then, she was an absolute rockstar on our wedding day itself! She scoped out ideal places to do all the different shots and made sure we got some incredible group family shots after the ceremony. Then, she did a 5-minute (seriously, we timed it!) golden hour shoot with us which resulted in the best shot of the entire wedding in my opinion. We have an entire portfolio of stunning photos that we get to treasure for years to come! I cannot recommend Christie highly enough - if she is available for your wedding day, BOOK HER!

Ok. If you are hesitant AT ALL about your photographer, STOP NOW AND BOOK CHRISTIE. I hired her for my wedding, had my engagement pictures taken by her associate and she shot my boudoir photos. She is so encouraging and kind and makes you feel AMAZING. Honestly she could be my best friend. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera even if you doubt yourself! Christie did an amazing job for our daughter’s wedding. She totally captured the emotions of the day. We have relived the day through her pictures over and over. They were absolutely beautiful. Christie was so great! Super accommodating when we had to adjust plans to do a mini “covid wedding” and a belated party. Wedding pictures were great! Christie is BEYOND AMAZING! We booked Christie for our wedding and from the very beginning, she was professional, attentive, and put ease to a stressful process. I first contacted Christie after finding her on The Knot. She responded to me within about 30 minutes and I knew immediately that this was someone I wanted on my team. Her and I clicked right away on our first phone call together and she eased all of my anxiety that I had. We had our engagement shoot short after and I was blown away not only by the beauty of the pictures she took but by the way she helped my husband and I relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Fast forward to our wedding day this past September. I remember being so excited for her to arrive at our venue and I kept telling everyone all about her and how much they'd love her. I felt such a sense of relief when she arrived because I knew how her presence made me feel so comfortable on such a crazy day. Christie was with us all day and her energy never once faded. She was truly on a mission to get the best pictures and did it with a smile on her face the entire time, even when one of my husband's groomsmen was being huge pain in the ass during our bridal party pictures (there's always someone, right?!). Not only was she our photographer but she helped facilitate the evening as well. During our cake cutting, we had no idea what we were supposed to do, and Christie was right there to walk us through it. We did sunset pictures across the street and then a private last dance at the end of the night both of which Christie got some amazing pictures of. We received our sneak peak pictures after we got home from our honeymoon and it was such a great surprise. I was STUNNED when I saw them. I was so blown away by all the moments that she captured that day. You're so busy on your wedding, you have no chance to absorb the beauty of the day so seeing it in her pictures was such an amazing feeling. We received all of our pictures recently and made an entire night of it just going through them. We laughed and cried tears of pure joy while looking at them. I have not a single clue how I'm supposed to narrow them down to make a wedding album!

WOW - Christie was easily the best choice we made throughout our wedding planning process. I truly don't know what our wedding would have looked like without Christie. She has such an amazing personality and truly becomes your friend, which makes it even easier and more fun to spend the day together at the wedding taking pictures. Both me and my now husband, are usually more camera shy, but Christie made us so comfortable we really enjoyed it. Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures have been amazing, she truly captured our day perfectly. She helped plan our schedule for our day, and we were able to stick to our schedule despite minor hiccups that appeared throughout the day. She also was able to recommend other vendors which we hired that were also great to work with. In searching for a photographer I had no idea what a wanted until I saw Christie’s photos. I booked her without even really talking to her, that was how good her portfolio was. However, once I did finally talk and meet with her, I realized how lucky I got. Christie is an incredible person. She truly cares about getting to know you as a couple and listens to you. I was feeling very awkward about taking romantic photos and looking stupid while doing it. She has a way of making you relax and feel comfortable through it all. I’ve been through many weddings and I feel like the common photographer thing is to say is “turn and laugh at each other.” That always feels awkward and unnatural. Christie on the other hand has games and questions that she uses to create much more natural photos and honest moments. All of my bridal party commented on how good they felt Christie was. Even my husband who normally finds photo shoots lame commented on how fun it was. It truly was a pleasure working with her. And to top it off the photos came out beautiful. You should 100% book her.

My husband and I worked with Christie for our June 2021 wedding. We started working with her 9 months prior and were impressed from the start! Christie took the time to get to know us and asked us all the important questions leading up to the wedding. She was flexible and responsive throughout the wedding process. During our portraits, we felt sooo comfortable and relaxed. She made us laugh and it showes in the photos :)
