We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding caterer! From start to finish, everything was absolutely amazing, and they played such an important part in making our...

wedding day so special. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and our guests could not stop talking about how good everything was. It was so important to us that our guests had a great experience with the food, and they definitely delivered! The cocktail hour was especially incredible. There were so many appetizers and such a great variety that our guests had plenty of options to enjoy. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and it was clear that a lot of thought and care went into the menu. We loved seeing our guests enjoying all of the food and going back for more! The service was also outstanding. The servers were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire evening. They made sure our guests were taken care of and that everything ran smoothly without us ever having to worry about a thing. The bartenders were equally wonderful friendly, quick, and attentive, even with a busy crowd. They kept everything moving while still making our guests feel welcomed and taken care of. As a bride and groom, being able to relax and enjoy our wedding without having to worry about the food or service meant so much to us. The entire catering team went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for everything they did to help make our celebration unforgettable. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event. The food, the service, the cocktail hour, and the entire experience were truly five-star from beginning to end!

My husband and I got married at The Gardens at Applecross on 5/10/25. The day was a true dream. Everyone loved the venue, it so beautiful. The food was wonderful and everything cam...

e together so perfectly! It truly was the best day ever and wouldn’t have been possible without Dan, Tina, David and all of the amazing staff at Applecross. Dan, David and Tina spend extra attention to detail and ensure everything runs smoothly. I felt like I had nothing to worry about the day of because they handled everything with ease. Now, we will be trying to convince our friends to get married there so we can be a guest next time and be able to enjoy this amazing place again!

I need to express exactly how I felt on my wedding day at The Gardens at Applecross and working with Christina’s Catering and Events. The few weeks leading up to our wedding was ve...

ry difficult. My Dad who is my best friend was admitted to the ICU which was very scary. It made it very hard to navigate planning the wedding while stressing about him and knowing he would not get to see me get married. The week of my wedding, my niece (one of the flower girls) was admitted to CHOP which meant my sister (maid of honor) would also not be there. It was bad news every hour. Totally felt lost and I just wanted to cancel. The team all reached out to check in on me and continued to offer help in any way they could. The morning of the wedding the storms came rolling in. I just felt so overwhelmed and stressed. We arrive to Applecross, we walk in the doors and the weight that I was carrying was no longer on my shoulders.. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and empathetic. Dan treated us like royalty. The whole building was breathtaking. The food was outstanding. I could not have dreamed of a better wedding. Not one complaint. They made sure to check on me, my husband and everyone else that was there with us several times. They stayed right on time with every single part of the day. They did not miss a beat. The bartenders were so polite and friendly. They made sure any dietary restrictions were not only perfected but that the guest enjoyed it. I will cherish this day for the rest of my life and that is because they run such an amazing team.. I never once felt like it was a transaction deal to just throw a party or just some random venue we picked. At the end of the night, anytime I tried to lift something a staff member ran over to grab it for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The staff truly felt like family and that was what I really needed considering my main family members could not be there with me.

round in the culinary and events industry, I came in with a very clear idea of the menu I wanted, and they not only met my expectations but far exceeded them. They worked closely with us to customize every detail, including a special German American cocktail hour station that reflected my heritage in such a fun and thoughtful way. Our signature drinks were executed perfectly by the bartenders, and I was truly blown away by how many of our guests raved about the Caesar salad - something I never expected to be such a hit. The main course was equally impressive. We served a pork chop that was cooked to absolute perfection, and even my husband, who is quite particular when it comes to meat, commented on how great it was!! Dan and Tina were present throughout the entire day, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we were well taken care of. They are incredibly personable and down to earth, which I absolutely loved. Every member of the staff was kind, attentive, and truly added to the overall experience. Christinas Catering made our day feel seamless and special. We are so grateful for their care, effort, and talent. They genuinely exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

ing. I've just had too many times where I was at a wedding and the timing of the food wasn't great, so the food was cold and not good. But with Dan and Tina you definitely won't have to worry about that. They take pride in what they put out and it shows!

ok the time to understand our vision and brought it to life beautifully. The venue and the food is absolutely stunning and we are still getting compliments about how beautiful the day was. Dan David and Tina were so accommodating to help us get everything to the venue on time. We ended up hiring a team to set up the decorations that we had brought to the venue the day of. So professional and I seriously do not know what we would have done without them! If you’re looking for someone who will not only meet but exceed your expectations, The gardens at Applecross and Christinas Catering is the way to go. Thank you both for making our day so special!

isit in July, 2023 to our wedding day, Chef Dan, Tina, David & Christina's Catering team were extremely knowledgeable and provided seamless coordination and attentive service. nd special requests. As a vegan, it was important to me to have a delicious and filling vegan option for our guests for both the hors d'oeuvres and main dishes. Christina's Catering delivered! Additionally, their pricing is incredibly competitive and adaptable to different budgets, which was helpful for a couple like us hosting a large number of guests. Dan and Tina are incredibly friendly and down to earth. While there were just a couple times throughout the wedding evening when Dan was perhaps a bit overly chatty while we and our parents were trying to stay present with our guests, you can tell it just comes from his genuine enthusiasm for being part of his clients' special day. Dan and Tina are good souls who know how to deliver good food at a price that suits many budgets. Thank you Dan and Tina!

They not only promptly addressed all our questions but also went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care for a memorable wedding reception and it was "stress-free". Throughout the planning process, we were pleasantly surprised by how they anticipated things we hadn't even considered. This proactive approach helped alleviate any potential stress, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day. Dan & Tina's thoughtfulness extended to small touches that made a big difference in the smooth running of our wedding. In conclusion, we would highly recommend Christina's Catering for their dedicated support, attention to detail, and overall professionalism. The venue was the perfect combination of elegance and romantic. Christina's Catering truly made our wedding a memorable and delightful occasion.

OMG. I can't rave enough about them. Not only was the food fabulous, so was the service. So the one thing you really want is for your food to be amazing. They hit it out of the pa...

rk and then some. The appetizers were fantastic. The salad was fresh. The main courses were to die for. We had the teriyaki salmon and the beef tenderloin. My guests were stunned. Each was fantastic and since a couple of people canceled coming to my wedding last minute, my new husband and I got to eat both. It was amazing. We also got the chocolate covered strawberries, the mini cannolis, and assorted cheesecakes. People RAVED about it. I'm still getting rave reviews. Towards the end of the night they served cheesesteak sliders which my out of town guests loved. Now let's talk about the service. AMAZING. Dan, the main chief and owner, crushed it. He was organizing the servers when they got there early. Had a team meeting to make sure they were good to go and was constantly making sure I (the bride) was alright. His wife Tina, the other owner, was amazing as well. They split up and made sure the cocktail section was set up and someone was always making sure my fiance and I had food. I was getting my dress bustled and Dan asked if I wanted something. I admitted I was dying to try the hors d'oeuvres and he brought in an entire plate for myself and everyone in the room. It was awesome. Then Dan made sure we got our salad course and when we were ready for our entrees. He also made sure no one touched our food until he checked with us that we were actually done! No whisking away food! We actually got to eat on our wedding day which most people never get to do. Dan also made sure we got drinks too. Just amazing. They helped us pack up everything including the gifts and put away the top of the wedding cake for us to take home. Honestly, they were even better than our wedding venue coordinator. I will recommend them till the end of time and will totally use them again if I get the chance in the future.

We had a great experience working with Christina's Catering for our wedding in Old City. Both Tina and Dan were extremely easy to work with and the food was delicious. One of t...

he reasons I chose this caterer is because of Tina's very flexible pricing model based on what you order. We were able to have the things we want, and skip the things we don't need, in order to keep costs reasonable. They also really let you benefit from economies of scale, as the cost-per-head goes down significantly with a higher guest count. Thanks to Christina's Catering we were able to have a wedding with 150 guests, which would have been impossible with other caterers who insist on a one-size-fits-all package and fixed cost per person regardless of the guest count. They also did a great job coordinating with our venue (which has a lot of restrictions, like no flames), cake bakery (which they arranged for me!), and planner. I highly recommend Christina's Catering.

edding with less than 10 weeks to plan. From the moment I first talked to Christina, I knew that Christina's Catering would be the ones to cater our big day. Christina was so attentive and flexible throughout the entire planning process - she was always there to answer questions and provide confirmations during the weeks leading up to our wedding day. Dan was absolutely amazing during our tasting and really helped us put the timeline for our day together and make sure that the floor plan and menu was exactly perfect. From the tasting, to the rehearsal, to the day of Dan and Christina were on top of everything. During the day, I did not have to worry about a single thing - because I knew Dan, Christina and their team had everything under complete control. The staff was so wonderful to work with and everyone loved the food and having the catering team around. rom the minute I spoke with Tina, I knew we were a perfect match. She helped us with venues, vendors and created a wonderful menu with special vegetarian options and always made time to answer my questions and ease any fears as a nervous bride. Due to the pandemic, we chose to have a tented wedding at our home instead of using our original wedding venue. Dan was truly wonderful at making us feel at ease with the tent planning process. He came to our home, helped us with the tenting plans, design, layout, timeline for our wedding & then came back for an at-home private chef tasting for us & both parents. The hors d'oeuvres and dinner were delicious just like it was on our wedding day. We are still getting compliments 2 months later Our guests loved the sweet selection of mini desserts and dessert shooters we chose for each guest table. Our wedding planning and wedding was perfect and we want to express our gratitude & a big thank you by writing this review about Dan & Tina of Christina's Catering & a ton of thanks to their great waistaff & bartenders. I don’t even know where to start. Tina and Dan were amazing. We went to Tina with a budget and an idea of a taco bar. She took just those two things and turned it into an amazing w...

edding. The fact that she was able to really work with us given our budget was awesome. Being on a budget there was certain things we weren't going to do, like major decorations. Tina even helped with that and brought some to add little extra touches around the reception. And let me tell you...the food is FANTASTIC!!!! I plan a lot of events for work. And I used to think either I can get great service or I can get great food but not both. Christina's catering made me realize you can get both when you go with people that truly love what they do. Dan and Tina love what they do and it shows in every aspect. But set aside the attributes they were able to bring to our wedding as professionals, Dan and Tina truly made us feel like family. The moment we met them we knew we found the right people to help plan our wedding. They made us feel like life long friends, even offering to teach my husband a card game we all liked to play. Weddings can be stressful but they took all of that away from us. They make you feel comfortable immediately and go above and beyond. I couldn’t have imagined our day without them! I am already trying to think of other events and parties I can plan and use them for!

aff and interaction before, during and after our event was friendly, timely, and professional. On top of all of that, they also took time to take photos of the event and shared an album with us after. They were able to capture elements and moments our photographer missed. We are so grateful!
