We feel so incredibly grateful to have had her help plan our wedding, and it was more beautiful than we could have imagined because of her. Christine has great vendors. From florists, catering, event decor, and graphic design elements to the hair and makeup team, Christine works with amazing folks who help co-create memorable and bespoke events. Christine is meticulous, communicative, considerate, and super on top of everything timing-wise. She spent countless hours texting, emailing, and speaking to us to ensure everything went smoothly. Her organized email threads and Google Docs are a testament to her expert project management skills. At junctures where we were undecided or struggling to make decisions, Christine offered guidance drawing on her decades of experience. Christine truly cares about and celebrates each couple and their families. She is responsive to cultural considerations from decor to ceremony design to the reception food menu. She was so responsive that we would often tell her to stop responding to us at 1 or 2am. Should we have any event planning needs in the future, we will be sure to use Christine. Christine from WeddEng Boss is a hardworking, very professional and highly effective wedding planner and coordinator. Christine communicated with us in great detail to understand all our needs and learn our preferences for our wedding. She pointed us to great and affordable vendors which we never would’ve found otherwise; her recommendations for DJ, cake and photo booth were perfect. Because she was familiar with our venue, she had a great vision for what our wedding could look like and suggestions for how to get there. When the weekend of our wedding arrived, not only did she take the time to talk through things and reduce our stress, she also managed the vendors and interfaced with the venue staff to make sure everything went perfectly. Christine was amazing. She helped plan my wife's 40th birthday and went above and beyond. The vendor logistics rivaled that of a wedding and Christine managed the entire process so I only had to interface with her instead of ~15 vendors. She did weeks of planning to make sure everything was buttoned up going into the weekend, built a detailed schedule so everything was coordinated, and developed thoughtful touches and details that made the weekend perfect. She had an extensive network of decorators and other vendors she had worked with in the past that she was able to bring in as well. Christine was absolutely pivotal to our wedding! Our experience with Christine was nothing short of incredible. Christine is a true professional. Many people told me to hire a wedding planner, and I am so glad we hired this one. From the beginning of the planning process we felt supported and knew that it would all come together in the end. There is so much work involved in planning a wedding and Christine made this a smooth process. She knew so many little details and tips and tricks, there was no way we would have thought of half of the things she suggested. The pace of planning was reasonable and Christine handles the process like a project manager considering dependancies and milestones to keep us on track without a log jam of tasks leading into the day of. The consistent reminders to make decisions and do some homework helped us from going crazy in the final two months. Christine did a wonderful job planning my husband’s birthday party. I gave her the contact information for the venue and she took it from there. She coordinated the amount of food needed and created the atmosphere for the party. The decorations and photo booth matched the décor of the restaurant. Worth every penny! Opting to use Christine as our wedding planner was one of our best decisions. She was literally AMAZING through every step of the wedding planning process. She kept us organized, thought of things we didn't, had consistent communication, very detailed itinerary, adaptable and helped to make the wedding day FANTASTIC. I had one call with Christine, and I knew she was the one! Christine has a warm, kind, inviting energy about her that puts anyone at ease. What initially sold me in our first conversation was the importance she placed on family - we had our reception at a Chinese restaurant, and bonded with Christine over the fact that our (picky) parents approved of and loved this venue. It gave us comfort that she was familiar with the manager and location. It’s clear that Christine comes with years of experience — she is always asking thoughtful questions, but is never pushy or too strong with her opinions or suggestions. I consider myself an intense planner and detail-oriented person, and Christine consistently matched (and often exceeded) my energy and expectations. I was hesitant about the necessity of a coordinator for our small 86 person event, but it was the best decision we made for our special day and worth every dollar. It was a stressful period, but we truly felt like we could show up and be taken care of every step of the way. She was constantly in contact with all our vendors and never missed a beat. Hiring Christine was the best. I was able to just tell her my requirements and any specific needs and Christine just made it happen. My family was very pleased with the details that were implemented. Christine’s venue suggestion was perfect. We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday and had a private room that accommodated us comfortably. And the food was delicious. Christine thought of things that I didn’t even consider: - suggested a corsage for the guest of honor - provided an individual bamboo plant for each guest (bamboo representing good luck and prosperity) - created red name cards with gold accents (colors representing good luck, joy and prosperity) - added some fun by surprising everyone with a lotto ticket hidden underneath each dinner plate - asked if we wanted music. The restaurant provided a Bluetooth speaker, allowing us to play music that enhanced the overall experience. The evening went smoothly and I would hire Christine again in a heartbeat.

Christine is an ABSOLUTE and consummate professional! Trust me when I say that she went above and beyond our own expectations with every single detail about our wedding. From start to finish, we could not have had our dream wedding without her level of attention to detail. That is one of her traits that makes her so special. She was with us every step of the way from booking all of our vendors all the way up to the day after to explain the aftermath of our wedding. With close to 300 people, so many things could have gone wrong on the day of our wedding, but did we know about any of it? Not ONE detail. Christine made sure that our focus was on each other and that we enjoyed every moment of our wedding. Apparently one thing after another was not going as planned and Christine handled it gracefully and without a hitch. There was even a moment in our wedding where it could have been a total disaster, but Christine remained patient, calm, and collected which was exactly what we needed at the time. There was never a time where she wasn't accessible for a quick question (which there were hundreds) and there were times we were even having full on text conversations at 2am! We hired Christine based on the recommendation of our wedding venue, and in doing so we hired a coach to guide us through a somewhat complicated process, and a champion who advocated for us and put our interests first. We showed up for our wedding weekend and genuinely did not have to think about anything beyond enjoying our time with our guests, and following Christine's directions. We hired Christine for partial services, but the value we received far exceeded what we expected. She provided recommended vendors based on our budget requirements, as well as advice on what to ask for. About 2 months before, we had our onsite walkthrough, where we established the schedule of the day. From there, Christine worked with the vendors and with us to hone the schedule down to the minute. She then enforced it, so everyone was where they were supposed to be, and the day went as planned! If it didn't, I have no idea because she handled it, she made the process smooth, and most importantly as the couple, she put our experience of the day first. To say our wedding was a success is an understatement, and we have Christine to thank for it! 10/10 completely recommend.

We knew this going into it and as a result, talked to four different wedding planners and deliberated carefully. Ultimately, Christine impressed us with her professionalism, track record, and sincerity. She worked with us from the very beginning of our wedding planning and it was easy to tell that she was highly experienced. One particular need that we had to accomodate for was fitting in a Chinese tea ceremony somewhere among all the busy events that day, but Christine came up with a plan and all of our concerns were put at rest. Our vendors and wedding party were highly impressed with the level of detail and thought that went into her timeline. Aside from all of the normal wedding planning aspects of things, Christine is an even better person and that showed itself when we had a huge hurdle to overcome when we needed to unexpectedly cancel and reschedule the original wedding plans two days before the date. When we were in no condition to think properly, Christine was able to take action quickly and communicate with all of our vendors and the venue. The result was a successful rescheduling with all of our original vendors. Throughout this time when we felt admittedly pretty devastated, Christine was there supporting us emotionally and taking care of all the logistics that go behind a last minute wedding rescheduling. At the end of the day, the results speak for themselves and our big day was a great success. Our wish was to enjoy the day without having to stress the little things, and Christine made that wish come true. All of our family and friends commented on how smoothly everything went and we kept telling them that we had a great planner. We knew nothing about wedding planning heading into this, but we were guided by the best in Christine. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and getting to know her - at the end it felt like working with a friend. We were all very new and a bit clueless going through this whole process, but Christine did a good job of helping us along the way, especially since we decided to get married only about six months after getting engaged. My wife and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have worked with Christine as our month-of/day-of wedding coordinator. We work full-time jobs, and one of our fears was that we would be behind on something. Christine’s experience and communication skills were invaluable to keeping us on track. She was deliberate and thorough in ensuring that we had thought about everything that we needed to by asking detail-oriented questions frequently and well ahead of deadlines. Perhaps most importantly, she would think for us when we were occupied with our day jobs, and therefore outright unable to make all of the considerations that we needed about our wedding. Without her in-the-background efforts, I’m certain we would have had a stressful lead up to the big day. To us, transparency means being able to get answers to our questions. For our wedding, we already had a vision for what we wanted, but we needed Christine to help fill in some gaps. We asked Christine for suggestions for vendors, and when we asked about why she recommended them and what made them special, she was clear with her reasoning. This gave us confidence in moving forward with selecting those vendors. Christine also put together our wedding timeline, including the schedule and details for the rehearsal and the wedding day. She shared this via Google-Docs and opened the entire thing up for us to make comments and to discuss every item well ahead of schedule. When the big day came, we were not surprised by anything because Christine kept us involved throughout the process. We are organized people, which extends to budget planning. With Christine, she was clear about her fees, and when she put her contract together it was easy to read and understand. There were no questions about what services we were paying for. A wedding is a big event, and we had many vendors who all had their own schedules and availability. We found that the most frustrating part was when we needed to address an issue or ask a question, some of our vendors were not responsive. Christine was not one of those vendors - she was available at every instance that we needed her. As our wedding approached, we realized that there was a slight possibility of rain. We did not have a rainy-day plan in place, so we tried to organize a meeting between a number of the vendors who would be key in coming up with a contingency plan. The only responsive vendor was Christine, who worked hard in those last few days to reach the unresponsive vendors on our behalf and convey our concerns and to elicit a response. In all other aspects of communication - asking for her advice, making requests for help, further communicating with vendors, etc. - Christine’s record with us was impeccable. Gameday: This was perhaps the most stand-out aspect of Christine’s work. On the wedding day, we never at any point felt lost about what we needed to do next. It’s not an understatement to say that you will have practically no time to yourself on the wedding day, and we can attest to that. We literally would not have any time to think about “what comes next” in terms of where we needed to be and when. Fortunately, that wasn’t an issue because of Christine. She managed all of the vendors, corralled our designated helper-guests, and directed us all night. All we had to do was follow directions. Though we were busy every minute of the wedding, because of Christine’s guidance we were never overwhelmed, and had just enough time and energy to enjoy our special day.

She would often pop in to ask us a big list of questions or have us make a few decisions, which can feel a bit daunting at first, but we knew were absolutely necessary things to consider. Honestly we’re so thankful for her to bring these topics up because we probably wouldn’t have thought of it until it was too late! We also appreciated that she was always willing to listen to what we had in mind, and never made us feel pressured to have to go a certain way. She did an amazing job keeping us feeling supported at all times during any road bump along the way. On the big day, she worked hard behind the scenes keeping us on schedule and taking care of any issues that came up so that we can enjoy our special day. All in all, we connected so well with Christine and can’t recommend her enough!

Christine was the third wedding planner to whom we talked. In the middle of our first phone call, my husband told me that he didn't want to talk to any other planner. Wedding planning could be very stressful and we were able to handle everything well because of Christine. My husband and I had no idea what kind of wedding we want and couldn't be more unfamiliar with the terms. During the planning, when it came to each aspect, Christine offered several ideas for us to choose, and she even shared links for us to read if it's something new to us. She is always patient, no matter when helping us to make difficult choices, or explaining what key points/details should we pay attention to. And she respects our preferences, and never tries to force any idea on us. Never. Christine eased my stress by working on things ASAP and also by her supportive and kind words the entire time (8 months!)! We always joked that she doesn't sleep - that's how efficient and hard-working she is! On top of everything, we ended up liking every vendor whom she referred us to. Amazing people gather and connect to each other. We are very happy that we met Christine for our important day. And we HIGHLY recommend her to any couple looking for a wedding planner! My husband and I had a small intimate wedding ceremony in the midst of covid spring 2021. We had been planning on having a 1 year anniversary wedding reception in 2022 to have a larger celebration with our family and friends but had been procrastinating with the planning process. We found ourselves 4 months before our reception having booked a venue and a caterer but not much else and that's when Christine came to the rescue! Christine was a calming presence from the very beginning. We really appreciated that she first just wanted to listen to us and hear our hope and vision for our reception. She was quick to provide referrals to vendors and was respectful of our budget as well! Because of her experience, she brought up considerations that we would have never thought of to help our guests feel comfortable for our outdoor reception. She was very organized and kept us on track with making sure we had a detailed timeline. We even decided a few days before our reception to add in a tea ceremony. She was so supportive and helped us to adjust our timeline to make it work. Christine also did a wonderful job in helping us assign roles to those supporting us (our family and bridal party) so that we didn't take on all the responsibilities ourselves on the day of. We loved working with Christine and we know you will too - with her calming presence, her experience, and organization you won't regret hiring her!!

Let me just say that Christine is now officially a daughter of mine! Love her to pieces! She gave my daughter, and me, the wedding our our dreams. She took care of EVERYTHING! This review is long overdue, partially because it was quite the daunting task to try to put into words how INSTRUMENTAL Christine was to our wedding's success. (Sorry, Christine!!). But let me try to explain just how awesome Christine was: Our wedding took place in July 2021. I found Christine during the Spring of 2021, after I had already postponed (and relocated) our nearly-fully planned wedding from Chicago to the Bay Area. With the uncertainty of COVID, we moved the "venue" to my parents' backyard. With the stress of re-planning a wedding and COVID, I had put off planning for our July 2021 wedding. Other than our photographer and caterer, we had to find all new vendors. Christine could not have been more helpful, and I knew she was the right planner from our first phone call. She was reassuring and I knew we'd be in good hands with her. We hired her the next day. Right after we started working with her, Christine hit the ground running INSTANTLY. She lined up numerous amazing vendor recommendations and walked my now-husband and I through everything we would need to do step by step. She is the queen of Google Docs (which I love) and keeping everyone on the same page. She was also extremely detail oriented but knew when to give us a bit of breathing room when we were getting overwhelmed. She was always responsive over text, phone, email (really anything) and no question was too big or small for her, and she definitely talked me down from the ledge several times (more times than I'd like to admit :) ). She also helped us navigate the complexities involved with a multicultural backyard wedding and dealing with the layout and rentals with our caterer. Christine ran a great rehearsal and got everyone on the same page quickly and efficiently (and with fun!). On the day of the wedding, Christine was ON TOP OF HER GAME and kept everything running. I wasn't aware of any mishaps and she and her assistant had every single thing running smoothly. She was also a calming presence and made sure to check in with me throughout the day. My parents were also so happy with her and how organized everything was. They even received feedback from several guests afterwards saying it was one of the most relaxed and organized weddings they'd ever attended. Christine, we are immensely grateful to you. I have worked with Christine on both ends of event planning, both and someone hosting a party and as a wedding cake vendor. As someone hosting a party Christine was ready for any challenge and I never had to worry that things weren't going to happen the way I envisioned them. As a wedding cake vendor I know that my delivery and set up will always run smoothly. The timeline and communication of who, what, where and when are always a weight off of my shoulders. So as a vendor and a host, Christine gets my my 5 stars. Highly recommend.

I have taken far too long to write this review. Our wedding was in October 2021 (originally scheduled October 2020 and then November 2020) and Christine has stuck with us the entire time. I found her through The Knot what feels like ages ago and I think finding her was fate. I honestly cannot imagine how we would have made it through multiple date and venue changes due to COVID-19, sourcing all of our brilliant vendors that were part of our event, and keeping me (an extremely indecisive person) on track with planning what felt like two different events over the span of two years. To be honest I knew I had to have her on my team after our first conversation. She just exudes good vibes and chill energy but also really knows how to get things done quickly and effectively (this woman helped my photographer stop traffic in San Francisco and got the hotel to allow us access to the roof that resulted in absolutely gorgeous wedding photos). She had amazing ideas (many of which I totally took and was super excited about) and she was able to help me actualize my own ideas into something real that made gorgeous and meaningful memories for me, my husband and all of my loved ones. I know most people say you want to spend the most thought and money on the food or the photos or whatever will impress the guests the most but to be honest I couldn't have had such beautiful photos, such delectable food, and such an amazing experience for my friends and family without her. Going into my wedding I knew I needed someone professional, organized and knowledgeable and honestly, Christine is just that and so so much more. My wedding was a literal moonlit and star crossed dream (even with all of the little crazy things in between) and I truly have her to thank for it.

Out of all the decisions for our wedding, hiring Christine was one of the best decisions we made. We had a short engagement period and with Covid on top of that we thought hiring a coordinator would be a good idea. We went with the “month of” option with Christine and overall she was very professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. Something that we really appreciated from Christine was her support during our wedding venue search. When our wedding venue double-booked us, we had to settle for another location on their site. Christine offered to meet with us during this process and helped us negotiate upgrades to our table linens, uplighting, charger plates, sparklers,and X-back chairs as complimentary services to correct our venue’s mistake. As a result we had to do much more planning and Christine worked with us well before the month of our wedding. She didn’t have to do this nor did she charge us extra for her time. Christine helped us think about scenarios that we didn’t anticipate which really showed her expertise. She made sure we delegated small tasks to our family and wedding party that really made a big difference the morning of our wedding day which took off a lot of stress from us on our special day. From the rehearsal session to the end of the reception, Christine really took on her role as coordinator and made sure everything went smoothly with all our vendors and guests while managing a tight schedule. We highly recommend Christine for your wedding or special event!

I hired Christine last fall to help me plan a casino night event at our house for my husband's birthday. I had never planned an event like this at our home and having Christine's expertise was incredibly helpful. Not only is it very clear how experienced she is, but she is so easy to work with! Christine made it a point to listen to what my needs specifically were and was able to find me the vendors she thought would be suitable for our event. Christine went above and beyond to make our event a success. Everything was on time; her presence there the day of made the event stress -free so we could all enjoy ourselves without any worry. We booked Christine very early on into our engagement but due to the pandemic we didn't meet in person until our rehearsal dinner - but it was like picking up conversation with an old friend. Christine Eng lives up to her name of “event boss”! This woman can make magic happen. I reached out to Christine with only three months to go before my San Francisco wedding. The only things we had booked were food, venue, and hotel for our guests –no band, no photographers, no cake. I was sure like others we had reached out to, she would turn us down, three months almost no time to plan a wedding. However, Christine was so amazing and gladly rose up to the challenge. It was clear Christine is an incredible wedding/event planner. She immediately went to work helping us identify the different vendors we would need, helping us identify which ones might work best for our event, and contacting the ones we wanted to work with to make arrangements. It was so wonderful having her help us every step of the way, there was no detail that escaped her—it’s clear that she is a professional who has done this for a long time! When I first decided to plan a wedding, within three months no less, in the middle of a pandemic but right around the time when it seemed like we were about to come out of it with everything reopening and vaccines providing us with some protection, I was just thinking that it was going to be something small, casual, and affordable. While I am used to planning events, I realized that being the bride at your own wedding meant that it would be really hard to take care of a lot of the small (and big) details the day of and that I really needed a wedding coordinator. When I first made contact with Christine, we had a really great conversation where she was able to provide me with lots of ideas and asked me questions about details that I would have never considered. I could totally tell that Christine was a pro at wedding planning. However, I was trying to keep costs down and initially couldn't justify spending the money on a wedding coordinator, even though she was fairly reasonably priced compared to other coordinators. So, I continued to plan on my own for another month before I finally came to the conclusion that the cost to have someone professional to help me out was worth it. Luckily, when I reached out to Christine again, she was still available. For the next two months, Christine and I communicated practically everyday, working out all of the details to the timeline, adjusting to new and last minute changes, and sometimes, Christine would be a source of emotional support by being positive and encouraging when things seemed to go wrong during planning. On the actual wedding day, when people tell you that you will be really busy, that is definitely the understatement of the year! I barely had time to talk to anyone and was constantly on the go. It was hard for me to know what was going on half of the time. But, having Christine there, to coordinate with my vendors and everyone else who was helping out, and dealing with any issues that came up, allowed me to enjoy the day without stressing out about the small stuff. While there will always be little things here and there that go wrong, Christine was able to take care of all of that stuff and make everything proceed without a hitch. I had so many of my guests tell me that they had such a great time and that it was about as perfect a wedding out of any wedding that they have ever attended. While some of it had to the do with being lucky with the perfect weather and full moon while eating outdoors on a patio with a view (and probably going out and partying for the first time in a long time!), Christine was a huge part of what made the entire day an enjoyable experience for myself and everyone there. In retrospect, hiring Christine was definitely one of the best decisions that I made in planning this wedding and I highly recommend her services!

Christine was simply the best! Given the uncertainty caused by COVID-19, we decided to have a micro-wedding with 18 people total. We contacted Christine a little less than 5 months before our desired date, and she was a tremendous help from day 1. We booked most of our main vendors within the first week of hiring her; Christine had a shortlist of vendors for every look and feel we wanted and was available pretty much 24/7, which made the booking process very easy. Christine was also the liaison between us and the event coordinator at our venue, and she was on top of the communication. She was really persistent whenever we did not hear from the coordinator right away. She was also incredibly meticulous with the schedule of wedding day. Our wedding day went incredibly smoothly, and so many guests have commented on how great of a wedding it was. We were first unsure whether hiring a wedding planner was necessary for such a small wedding, but thinking retrospectively, we wouldn't have been able to pull this off without Christine. We wholeheartedly recommend her for your event!

I loved working with Christine on a recent baby shower. She contacted me about a last-minute gig fill and clearly communicated expectations for me as a photographer as well as her client's desires for the event. Her vendor list and communications made the entire day a breeze, and she was helpful and supportive onsite. I’ve worked with Christine on a wedding photo shoot as the seamstress and working with her was such a delight. She is one of the most creative wedding planners ever. Throughout the many weddings I’ve witnessed her planning, she is super organized and her work definitely speaks for itself.
