Christine and her team provided an experience that I simply cannot put into words. We came into the conversation with a color pallete and...that's it. Her team elevated our rough ideas into a scenic masterpiece I'm still wrapping my head around. From invite design, to the actual venue overhaul, we were so happy with the care that went into a queer interfaith celebration with two particular, but clueless grooms.

We worked with Katy, Christine, and other members of her team for wedding planning, design, and florals. They were absolutely AMAZING to work with! We would 10/10 recommend working with them. They made the planning process stress free and most importantly FUN! They made it feel like we were working with a group of friends to plan our wedding. They made our wedding dreams come true and we truly got to enjoy the day of and celebrate the way we had hoped because of them. CJDE planned our recent wedding in Chicago, and we can't overstate how happy we are that we did! Christine and her team are absolute experts at what they do. They are incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Communication is easy and they have no problem adapting to your busy schedule. And of course, the flowers and overall design at our wedding were immaculate! They also made the wedding day itself so easy for us and executed perfectly. We couldn't recommend CJDE enough!

Hiring CJDE for both planning and florals was hands down the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding. From the get, my husband and I had a clear vision of what we wanted for our day, but struggled to find time to plan all of the intricate details that were needed. This was especially difficult for our venue which was a very large space that required booking vendors with experience in order to properly execute. Christine’s team brought our vision to life, and went above and beyond our expectations for every aspect of our wedding. I would consider my mother and I pretty strongly opinionated clientele (lol) and the team handled us with grace, and even helped to diffuse some difficult moments throughout the planning process. The team brought an unbiased perspective and challenged us to think differently (which at times we needed) and they kept us on track and moving forward on both small and big decisions. Christine’s industry expertise proved invaluable, as she helped us book an amazing vendor team that executed our day seamlessly. We are still getting compliments about our wedding from family and friends, many noting that it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to. The team we had with us day-of was extremely efficient, kept us on schedule, and handled all of the day-of vendor coordination. Because of them, my husband and I were able to really live in the moment on our wedding day, and soak it all in. Although I could go on and on about our amazing day, it would be a mistake not to highlight the incredible staff that we got the pleasure of working with. Talk about a kind, genuine, and down right talented team of individuals! Kristen was our go-to for day-to-day communications, and was such a Rockstar! She was extremely prompt, thorough, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Giora led up our florals and design and oh my god is this guy an artist! Our florals were something out of a fairytale and truly brought the whole event to life. Last but not least, Christine. Her bubbly yet endearing personality is completely infectious, and she is such a Mega Boss!!!! She is truly an industry leader and we couldn’t have done this without her and her wonderful team! They crafted the most perfect day for us and we are forever grateful for them.

Christine’s team is world class. From start to finish, they were along the journey with me to make sure my vision came to life in ways I couldn’t even imagine. I worked directly with Katy as my lead planner. Katy was thorough, detailed, and supportive throughout the entire process. I wanted my wedding to have little personal details, and she made sure to include that as a focus in all our planning meetings. And on my wedding day, she was the calming presence I needed to make sure the day felt perfect. If there were any issues that happened, I wouldn’t know because she handled them with grace and tact. The florals were also out of this world. Giora and team created the romantic vision I had in mind so well, it took my breath away when they first opened the doors. Work with this team, you will be in SUCH good hands.

Katy would never say it, but I was quite a challenging client! I came to her with a hard budget, no ideas, a long list of family demands, and a VERY short timeline to put together our wedding. She far exceeded our expectations without breaking a sweat, and all of our guests were astonished at how amazing everything turned out. Also, the fact that they are not just planners but also a floral and design team was a HUGE bonus. On top of excelling in things we hired Katy for, she went out of her way to help me on my big day. A brides worst nightmare: I show up on my wedding day horribly ill with food poisoning. Katy was waiting for me with crackers and pedialyte (straw included!) and an offer to get me a mobile IV clinic. Without her my wedding would not have happened, period. If you’re on the fence about hiring this team, get off of it. Not only are you hiring them for their expertise, you’re also hiring them to help you out of any wedding day weeds. I really hope I can hire them for other events in the future!

We initially hired Christine 8/2021, but due to COVID, we ended up postponing one year to 8/26/22. She was great the entire time. From the design plans to communication. She made it to the rehearsal dinner with the photographer for us to meet prior to the wedding day. She made sure everything we needed was at the hotel, the transportation was present, and everyone knew where to go the entire day. Her floral design was great and her ceremony coordination was perfect. We talked about afterward how literally nothing went wrong the entire day. Part of that was luck and weather, but had we been unlucky, she had plans for those possibilities as well. Of note, I did notice the review immediately preceding this review for a wedding at the Alder in July (our was at the Adler in August and also had been rescheduled), and we definitely did not have the same experience. Christine was on point for everything relating to our wedding, the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, coordinating transport to our after party, etc. She even made sure all our cards and gifts were in our hotel room that night. We also met Christine 1.5 years ago and she is just as passionate and attentive as she was then, in our opinions.

Christine and the CJDE team are fantastic! We started working with them in late 2021 to plan our August 2022 wedding and they were so efficient and creative in ensuring we incorporated every detail we and our families hoped for. Christine's can-do attitude and bubbly personality is so reassuring and infectious, and her whole team was so supportive while also being very realistic about what was possible and remaining open to feedback. Our decor and flowers especially were stunning and we received so many compliments. It was everything we could have hoped for!

We used CJDE for wedding planning and design, and we were blown away with the service they provided! The florals were stunning and perfectly reflected our vision. The team went above and beyond to make sure our venue looked beautiful. The detailed timeline, prep meetings, and day-of coordination that Katy and Breena provided allowed me and my husband to relax and have a blast the day of our wedding. Not to mention, numerous guests told us that our wedding was the most well-orchestrated event they’d ever been to!

Katy & the CJDE team is the perfect one stop shop for wedding planning, design and florals! Whether you know exactly what you want for your dream wedding or like me, need plenty of help when it comes to ideas, design etc, Katy, Christine and the whole team will expertly help make your wedding vision come to life!! I could not recommend their full planning service enough. Not only do they make the planning process fun, but it’s organized, timely and they think of it all!! Don’t stress yourself out ladies- just go with CJDE for all of your wedding planning / design and floral needs! I’m telling you… my florals were stunning and on my wedding day, I was able to enjoy it all thanks to them!

Christine and her team are absolutely wonderful! They are very thoughtful and creative, and we enjoyed working with them throughout the planning process. On the day of, they made everything run so smoothly and the venue looked absolutely stunning (CJDE also did our florals)!!

Christine, Kendall, and their whole team not only helped us execute the wedding that we dreamed about, but also made it incredibly easy for us to navigate a forced venue change when the city shut down our original venue. In the same message that let us know our original venue was cancelling (six weeks before our wedding!) Christine had already lined up a new venue that turned out to be even better than the original. She was a total life-saver. Also, her execution of our vision was truly outstanding - she translated our vague ideas into a gorgeous and extremely fun night for us that we will remember forever, with basically no stress. Cannot recommend her and her team more highly!

Katy and the CJDE team was/is truly the best. Honestly, wedding planning is intense but Katy and her team did such a fantastic job of listening to our MILLION questions and bringing our vision to life, more-so than I could ever imagine. Between the amazing floral design and her impeccable support when it came to planning, I will forever be grateful to them for making my day seamless, beautiful and just everything I could have ever wished for.

Christine and the rest CJDE team (Kendall, Breena, etc) are absolutely wonderful! We reached out to Christine during Aug/Sept 2019 for design, florals, and day of coordination for our October 2020 wedding. Like many other couples though, we had to postpone our wedding to November 2021 due to COVID. Christine and Kendall took an overwhelming situation and made it better by reaching out to all our vendors for availabilities and producing new contracts for the new date. Despite all of the unknowns, Christine never failed to reassure us and maintained an upbeat, bubbly attitude. We could even hear her smiling throughout all of our phone meetings! Her joyful personality is truly infectious. Christine did a great job of staying within our budget and was always transparent about costs and design feasibility. Also, she was open to adjustments if we didn't like a design element. As for our wedding decor - it was stunning! We received SO MANY compliments. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. While Kendall and Breena were keeping us on schedule and helping us in every way possible (veil placement, holding my bouquet, etc.), Christine was working alongside the rest of her team assembling the decor at the venue. These ladies went above and beyond in every aspect! I would 100% recommend Christine and CJDE to any bride and groom out there. They will not let you down.

Christine, Katy and and the CJDE planned the MOST beautiful wedding for our son and DIL. They have a knack for LISTENING to the wishes of the bride and groom and bringing their ideas to life brilliantly. They addressed all of our parental questions and concerns with quick professional answers. They are thorough, organized and very quick to respond. We completely enjoyed the wedding. Christine and her team along with the vendors made sure everything was in place and ready on time. CJDe didn’t miss a trick. They won over my skeptical husband completely. He’s their #1 fan now, along with the rest of the Tarpey clan.

Christine and the CDJE team exceeded all of our expectations. They were always quick to respond to any questions we had or problems we ran into with vendors, and were always able to get things sorted out. Wedding Planning: We had been engaged for a year (Dec 2019), and due to covid, were struggling to plan our wedding on our own in Chicago. We booked Christine in January 2021. The CDJE team was able to guide us through the whole process and we were able to have an amazing special day in November 2021. Their knowledge and experience in the industry gave us the confidence in every option they presented us when choosing a venue, photographer, DJ, hair & makeup, etc. Design and Flowers: Christine was also in charge of the design plan and flowers for our wedding. All we had to do was provide inspiration (photos of past weddings, Pinterest pages, etc.) and her team put together our dream wedding. We also met and were provided with a mockup of our tablescape, flowers, linens, day of paper etc. so we could see exactly how our wedding reception would look. Day of Wedding Coordination: Christine and her team were with my husband and I through every part of our wedding day, and at the venue making sure that everything went to plan. The ceremony and reception were both beautiful and perfect. Thanks to CDJEs hard work, we were able to fully enjoy our day without having to stress all the little details!!

100% recommend Christine Janda Design & Events! We used CJDE for both our florals and day of planning and can't stop talking about how they made our day (and all the months leaving up) so perfect. For florals, Christine and Katy were so accommodating. Already stressed because we lost our first florist as a result of the pandemic, Christine and Katy and team were so accommodating and made sure they could make our floral dreams come true. They were truly able to make my terrible PowerPoint floral mood board into exactly what I wanted - elegant/sophisticated/timeless arrangements. The floral arrangements the day of absolutely took our breath away the minute we walked into the room! In terms of day of coordination, Katy and team were fantastic! Being a type A person myself, Katy was always on top of it. Katy built out the most detailed timeline for the day of the wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. She honestly made the months leading up to the wedding and the actual wedding day feel so seamless. She was so helpful in pulling together all the little details to make our day so perfect! We can not thank them enough!

Katy & Christine were absolutely fantastic. Not only did Christine come through when our florist bailed on us due to the pandemic, their service and attention to detail throughout the whole process was so reassuring and comforting. When things began to get hectic, Katy was always there to help put the pieces into place and perspective. Katy and her team were incredible the day of our wedding and made sure we didn't have to worry about a single thing, which my wife and I cannot thank them enough for. I truly couldn't recommend anyone else more for this wonderful, stressful, amazing time that you and your partner will have planning and executing your wedding. My wife and I are so thankful we chose them.

Christine went above and beyond our expectations for coordination and planning. She takes the time to get to know her clients' vision for their wedding. Her passion for event planning really showed throughout the entire process. Her knowledge of every detail of our wedding was what impressed us the most. She has seen it all (good and bad) and guides your decisions in the best direction so that your day is as stress-free as possible. We could not recommend Christine and her professional team more. We truly believe without her, our wedding wouldn't have been the best day of our lives.

I don't even know how to put into words how wonderful it was working primarily with Christine and Kendall along with every other member of the CJDE team along the way. Our first requirement when looking for a planning team was kindness and second creativity. Check, check, and then so much more! From start to finish, we knew we didn't want a traditional wedding, and the CJDE team took our nuggets of requests and ran with them in ways we never could have imagined, giving us the most unique, joyful, special, beautiful, memorable celebration we could ask for—as cliche as it sounds, it truly was the best weekend of our lives! Starting from finding us the perfect venue, caterers, band, and more . . . you can tell they are so loved in the industry. This is no surprise, as they really are the kindest team. Christine and Kendall understood that we wanted to honor the marriage first and then just celebrate (read dance, drink, and party all night . . .) our special love, our love ones, and give our guests an amazing Chicago weekend. On a personal note, I lost my mother 2 years before the wedding, and Christine made sure honoring her in our ceremony was a priority. Then 2 months before the wedding, I unexpectedly lost my father. Christine was my emotional lifeline and became a friend, therapist, safe space, and confidante during this time leading up to the wedding. She went behind the scenes with my husband and planned, last minute, special touches to honor my dear dad and make sure I felt both of my parents' presence. I could go on and on with how many special moments Christine, Kendall, and the rest of the team gave us. I guess some brides find wedding planning stressful . . . that was the complete opposite of us. Every step of the process was a joy—so much so that we miss our CJDE Team so much and feel like we came out of the weekend with the most special memories and a team of lifelong friends!

Where do I even begin?! My experience with Christine and Kendall (primarily) was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! I planned THREE bridal showers (with other event planners) for my cousin since I was her MOH. The first two I planned were canceled due to Covid. Finally, the third time was a charm because I found Christine and Kendall (CJDE)! Honestly, once I needed to plan for a third time I was pretty frustrated and drained; they completely took over for me! It was exactly the kind of help I needed and wanted. I gave them photos for inspiration and chatted with them about what I was looking for. They NAILED it!! I mean, it was absolutely STUNNING-I still have people telling me how gorgeous the shower was and it was back in August. Kendall and Christine are patient, kind, understanding, and most of all-extremely talented! I will absolutely be working with them again! If you are looking for an event planner, look no further! Eternally grateful for these ladies!

All my super Type A/ control freak brides… this one’s for you. While planning my wedding, I knew I couldn’t go into the day alone and have the burden and worry on my shoulders of every little detail falling into place. Entrusting Christine and her team with that responsibility was the best thing I ever did to ensure that my husband, my family, and I could have the best day possible. CJDE did such an amazing job of listening to us throughout the planning process and working with every other vendor to make the day seamless, easy, and most importantly, enjoyable. Just an example of their excellence… I had this grandiose idea of surprising my husband with a bagpipe precessional before I walked down the aisle. Christine took the task on like a champ, she coordinated with everyone behind the scenes for me, kept it a secret with me (even from my parents for 4 MONTHS!), and gave me the confidence that this would go off without a glitch. Which it did, and it was epic! When it came to bringing our design plan to life with their floral expertise, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every element of decor came together 100x better than what I could have imagined. Truly, I have envy for all those that get to work with them in the future now that my wedding is over, but at the same time I have so much love and pride for them in seeing their amazing work on social media every week and getting to to say to myself, “that’s my planner!!!” Christine, Katy, & team — you all are amazing people and incredible to work with. Thank you for making my wedding day so stress free and so freakin’ outstanding!!! ALL the heart eye emojis :)

Katy K was our wedding event planner for both of our daughter’s weddings this year. Katy was always enthusiastic and professional when we met her at planning sessions and walk through events. She was always organized and on time for meetings and always responded to e-mails quickly. Katy attended the rehearsal wedding walk through and provided the wedding party a precise time line. She is very detail oriented and always provided us with very concise information after she had communicated with all of our vendors. She has a very good disposition and worked well with all our vendors. The day of the wedding she arrived very early and stayed late into the evening to make sure we stayed on our time line. Honestly I don’t know what we would have done without her! Her presence and calm demeanor the day of the wedding made the day a complete success! Happy Bride and Groom and happy parents!

My husband and I were an unfortunate covid wedding delay but we're finally able to get our special day in July 2021. Throughout the uncertainties and frustrations, Christine and her amazing team, never stopped communicating and checking in. Covid stuff aside, our day was stunningly beautiful with all the decor and flowers! Our family and friends are still talking about how elegant everything was that day. Highly recommend and do not regret my decision with choosing Christine Janda for my one and special day.

There cannot possibly be anyone in our beautiful city of Chicago who compares both personally and professionally to our dear Christine. She and her team (HUGE shout outs to sweet Katy and Kendall) made all of our daughter and son-in-law's wishes come true at every possible turn. OMG GOSH! Christine Janda and her team made our wedding Spectacular!! Everyone raved about how stunning the Gold Coast Room at The Drake Hotel in Chicago was. As MOB, I knew it was going to be incredible until I walked into the room and my mind was blown away!!! I was told by many that they had never seen a room more stunning and the prettiest room they had ever seen, NO KIDDING. Christine not only is a planner but also did our floral design which was perfection to say the least. Christine and team are a pleasure to work with in addition to being incredibly talented and creative. Due to Covid this was our 2nd round of planning my daughters wedding. Thanks so much for making me the Happiest MOB!!!!!

Katy and team are among some of the most talented, organized, communicative, and kind vendors we had the pleasure of working with for our May wedding. Katy was absolutely made to do this for a living! She is the BEST of the best. We became completely overwhelmed after planning and re-planning (thanks covid) our wedding and hired Katy and the CJDE team to help us navigate the last 3 months leading up to the wedding. It was the best decision we ever made. Katy kept us on task, helped communicate with vendors (some of which were extremely difficult to wrangle), created a schedule that worked best for us and our families, and made the lead up to the wedding as stress-free as possible. Being in the event industry myself, I feared I was going to be the bride that was constantly worrying about the little things day of. Katy took all of that fear away from me and executed everything FLAWLESSLY. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, my advice is to just do it! Hiring the CDJE team was the best decision we made for our day!

Katy and the team did a fantastic job with the whole process, from start to finish! CJDE (Christine, Kendall, and Katy) are an amazing group of wedding planners who helped us twice, due to rescheduling, make our planning stress free. They quickly called vendors to obtain new contracts when we rescheduled and also supported and gave advice throughout the process. We also almost had to reschedule again, due to Chicago restrictions, and they were on the case immediately lining things up and making calls.. just in case. Thankfully it did go through! :) Their professionalism as well as their general friendliness was what we needed during this crazy time. They also made sure to be safe with the COVID restrictions and I had no worry’s about that during our big day. I would highly recommend using them for wedding planning. Christine and her team have been absolutely incredible to work with. In the midst of all of the challenges we have faced in 2020 with planning, postponing and re-planning she has handled it all professionally and with incredible organization! We opted to do a smaller family only celebration this year with our larger reception next year and couldn't have navigated any of these decisions without her. Our small wedding in September of this year was executed perfectly by Christine and her team. Our flowers were OUTSTANDING, our timeline was executed perfectly and the day could not have gone any better. I cant wait to see what next year brings. I highly recommend CJDE!!

As a wedding photographer, I see it all when it comes to event design and floral. So when it was my turn to be a bride, I knew I wanted the best -- Christine Janda + the CJDE team. I got married on a tiny island off Mexico, and Christine worked magic to make sure my wedding and floral were oh-so-swoon worthy. Even when we had a tricky time getting some of the floral I wanted like king protea in Mexico, she managed to find it and created the most insane bridal bouquet and floral for my beachy, boho wedding. Everyone still talks about how gorgeous my flowers were, and I've even had my brides use my bouquet as their inspiration for their own flowers. :) If you are looking for someone who will get inside your head and think of the smallest details you didn't know you wanted, the CJDE team is who you need. They over-deliver, and they made the day even better than I could have dreamed. I can't gush about them enough!!!

n early 2019 when we began planning my daughter's October 2020 wedding, I quickly decided I needed help. Christine Janda was highly recommended by a friend, and after our first conversation I knew I would be in good hands. Best decision ever! When COVID-19 made 2020 weddings very different than originally expected and our original venue bailed with 3 months to go, Christine and Kendall made what could have been a total meltdown into just a small bump in an already bumpy road. Her creative talent for floral and décor is amazing. The whole CDJE team has the experience and the connections needed to throw the wedding we wanted and they gave me the luxury of enjoying the day without having to worry about any details.

We interviewed about 10 wedding planners and knew Christine Janda was the one almost from the moment we met her. Christine’s extensive knowledge of and experience with wedding venues, caterers, photographers and every other wedding vendor made the process of choosing the elements of my daughter’s wedding totally seamless and enjoyable. My fiance and I absolutely love working with Christine and the rest of the team. We knew right off the bat they were a perfect fit for us. They have been so easy and organized and every idea they have comes from the heart. We haven't had to change a single thing and trust them with every little detail. Recently, my fiance and I had to make the decision to postpone our wedding due to covid-19. I fully expected the change to be very stressful, but they have made it stress-free and very relaxed. Kendall has gotten in contact with all of our vendors quickly and easy and we have been able to lock in everything again within a few days of switching our date. Bless her. I couldn't have asked for an easier process. I love them so much and will continue to use them for every little event I need from here on out. We worked with Christine for our wedding design and Colleen for our day of coordination at the Intercontinental Hotel downtown Chicago this February. The design was absolutely gorgeous , complemented the venue perfectly, and was put together without a hitch. Colleen did a great job with the coordination as everything went by seamlessly and without any hiccups (at least that we were aware of.. which means she did a good job!) . Both are very professional and responsive and we were extremely happy with working with them! Strong recommendation!

I'm not sure I can truly put into words how amazing the team at Christine Janda Design and Events truly is. To provide a little background, I met Christine Janda a little over 4 years ago when she created most beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding day. Since then, I have followed her religiously on Instagram and I have loved the details posted from each of her events. In planning my twin sister's bachelorette party, I knew exactly who to contact. Quickly after shooting her an email, Christine gave me a call to discuss my vision for the event as we also reminisced on my wedding flowers. From this conversation, I knew Christine's team was going to work their hardest to make the weekend special for my sister and her friends. Over the next few months, I worked primarily with Colleen and Christine, an amazing duo, who provided me with options and ideas for the weekend, making everything so so so very easy on my end. They contacted restaurants, photographers, and bars so that I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Ultimately, I just had to make choices with the information they provided me. In the end, we settled on holding a bach brunch at Eden in Chicago, where Christine and Colleen created floral crowns for each of the gals. They also connected me to Brittany Bekas, a local Chicago photographer, to capture the fun. We ended up staying at a local Sonder and Christine, Colleen, and Kendall (Another amazing CJDE employee) helped me to make the spot truly cozy and perfect. They decked the place out with a bohemian vibe, so many eucalyptus leaves, and the BEST floral arrangements. They also created beautiful gift baskets for each of the guests. I honestly could not be happier with how everything turned out in the end and it was such a pleasure working with the CJDE team in the months leading up to the big weekend. If you need a planner, this team is perfect. I would never hesitate to contact them in the future for events! Love each and every one of them.

Initially when we began to plan our wedding I was trying to be superwoman and plan it all myself...even with my husband's help I quickly realized I was in over my head. I met with several wedding planning companies in Chicago, but after we chatted with Christine and Colleen I knew we had met out planner. Though we first consulted with Christine, it was Colleen (and Kendall too) that became out point planners. We'd had a good bit of our wedding pieces in place when we met with e CJD but what I was most anxious about was logistics, timing and all the what-ifs you never plan for. Colleen was my rockstar. I was stressed and anxious and every step of the way she reassured me that they "had me!" AND THEY DID!! Our day was smooth sailing and effortless for me. If something went wrong I didn't know about it and that's exactly what I wanted. She stuck by me throughout the day as well as having an additional planner with the grooms party. I couldn't be more grateful that we decided to work with Colleen and the CJD team. It was, by far, the best money we spent on our wedding. They literally thought of every single detail from the time frame for bridesmaids hair/makeup to reminders of where to hold your flowers as you walk down the aisle so you get good pictures. Choosing Christine and Colleen was the best decision we made on our wedding day! We used them for both floral and day of coordination and everything was executed flawlessly. The BEST. I don’t even know where to start with how thrilled we were to work with the CJDE team! From our first meeting, I knew our wedding was in good hands with Christine and Colleen. The design plan they pulled together perfectly matched what we were looking for and elevated it! The florals they created for our wedding were absolutely STUNNING. The team put together the most beautiful centerpieces and design that made our night feel so magical. Not only did I get to work with them for floral and design, but I was lucky enough to have them as a day of planner. From timing to the larger details like making sure the trolley picked up the groomsmen, they made our day so smooth and flawless - even with an unexpected rainstorm that lasted ALL day and night. Christine and her team planned our multi-day wedding event in August. They were the best investment we could have made in being able to fully enjoy both the planning and the event itself. We were quite busy and disorganized on our side, but they handled everything we needed them to and they kept us on schedule with design decisions and projected a professional calm that we needed. They followed through on our many questions quickly and without fail. The event itself was spectacular with a custom design/redo of our 2-floor venue (etta in Bucktown). Multiple people commented on how professional and beautiful the entire series of events were. The dozens of bouquets of flowers and extensive greenery she added all over the ceiling and outdoors was both creative and simply elegant. We had just been through a disorganized, nightmare home renovation and were comforted that her team used a great planning program (Basecamp) that kept things organized and easy to track. Again, there were no dropped balls over the six months of work, and when we had questions there were quick responses. If you need a team that will allow you to relax and truly enjoy both the planning process and the event itself, Christine and her team are simply the best.

We used Christine Janda events four our day-of wedding planning based on a recommendation from a friend. We worked with Colleen and she was very helpful - meetings starting several months before were very well organized and thought through, and Colleen gracefully took a lot of the details and coordination off our hands so we could focus on what we really wanted/needed to. She was also very responsive throughout the whole process which we really appreciated. The wedding went off without any big issues so we would certainly recommend Christine Janda events to others!

Where to begin!? My husband and I got married in February and decided to have a big reception this summer in Chicago. CJDE helped make our party a total success. We used CJDE for event coordination and flowers. Everything was seamless, organized and beautiful. I didn't have to worry about a single detail - they had it all covered. They came up with great ideas and unique touches that made our party "ours." Not to mention, they are the sweetest group of women who have a passion for the event/design industry. If there's anyone who goes above and beyond for their clients, it's Christine and her team. From our very first phone call, to the monthly meetings, to the week of the wedding, to the day of and even last minute of the reception, Christine and Colleen were there for it all, making sure everything was perfect and seamless. The entire planning process was extremely organized and stress-free. Each time I had a question about something, they were quick to respond and were flexible and understanding. They made sure every small detail was taken care of, even when we hit some bumps the night before the wedding (I almost went into Bridezilla mode, but thank goodness for CJDE!!!). One of the reasons I loved working with Christine and Colleen is because of how personable they are, while being professional at the same time. Not once did I feel like I couldn't express my concerns, because I knew they would have answers and solutions. They really meant it when they said, you can sit back & relax, and we'll do the rest, because they did just that, and more. I had a really vague vision of what I wanted for the wedding; the only thing I had my mind set on were the colors. After discussing some ideas, Christine took her creativity to a whole new level by incorporating my Chinese culture and my now-husband's Korean culture and turned it into the most beautiful backdrop and centerpieces. It was more than what I had asked for. While Christine was the person behind the scenes, Colleen was the main coordinator on the day of the wedding. There wasn't a hiccup (ie. wardrobe malfunction -- definitely not her fault though) that she couldn't take care of. Her attention to detail was astounding and we knew we could sit back and relax while she guided us through our schedule for the day. We were hoping to take some first-look photos at our hotel, not knowing they started charging a fee for that. But for whatever reason, Colleen worked her magic, and we were able to do it at no extra cost. We said it in our thank you speech the night of our wedding, but I'll say it again: Christine and Colleen, you ladies are truly the best. Thank you for making our day so so special. July 21st has become one of our favorite memories because of you.

Colleen was my main coordinator and Lexi was her assistant on my wedding day and they were great! Totally on top of all the small details and made sure everything was organized. The day ran very smoothly and I was able to relax and enjoy every part of my wedding. Definitely glad I had her there.

Colleen is AMAZING! I swear she made our wedding day so relaxing and if anything went wrong, I did not know about it. We initially looked into a wedding coordinator to lower my mom and my stress the day of the wedding, but she also lowered our stress the weeks leading up to the wedding. Colleen is a miracle worker. The venue kept telling me no when I asked for different accommodations, but when Colleen called and asked they said yes. She is so organized and I felt completely comfortable that she knew what I wanted because she invested so much time in understanding my vision.
