We were absolutely blown away by how incredible Christine and her team are! We literally don’t know what we would have done without them!
Leading up to our wedding day Christine and team were so responsive and so ready and willing to help us with anything and everything, big or small. We knew from the moment we had that initial call with Christine that she would do a fantastic job, but she exceeded our expectations designing a beautiful design board, and helping us flesh out every single detail to bring it to life. We went with a limited package but we still felt like Christine was our full time personal planner, there for us for everything we could have asked for and more!
Elexa, our lead coordinator, was just unparalleled. Whatever we needed, she was there in an instant, finding a veil we totally forgot about, fixing my mom’s bloody arm, or taking our dog out! And even though we were behind schedule and she never once made us feel rushed or stressed and managed to keep us on the rails even when we had all these crazy things we wanted to do!!
You will be so, so happy if you choose CME events for your wedding! Truly unparalleled!
Christine and her team made the whole wedding planning process a dream. Christine made sure to talk with my fiancé and I about our vision and what special features we wanted. With my family being out of state, I relied heavily on Christine for the full planning process. She was able to find us vendors like our photographer, band, florist, and rentals who matched our personalities and wedding vision. Most people say wedding planning is so stressful and Christine made the whole process feel easy. Everything she curated and showed us matched exactly what we were thinking and some was even beyond what we could have imagined. On the day of our wedding, Christine and her team were there to handle everything. I truly could enjoy the moment and not worry about how things would get set up. While Christine was making sure the room was set to perfection, Elexa was with me the whole time taking care of anything I needed. All the behind the scenes videos and photos she took were so special. The entire night was amazing and stress free because of Christine and her team. Christine and her team are nothing short of amazing. We found out about Christine through a friend and we are so grateful that we did. From our first meeting with her, we knew we were in great hands. Her attention to detail and eye for design are unmatched. We felt like she really understood our vision and everything about our day went so smoothly. Throughout the planning process things felt easy because Christine kept us on track, made sure we met deadlines, answered all of our questions, and addressed any concerns that we had. Christine McFarlane is an exceptional event planner who is kind, professional, communicative, and has an exquisite eye for design.
I first found Christine on social media and after our initial phone call I knew I wanted to work with her to plan my wedding. From day one she listened to not only the look we wanted to have for our wedding but also the feel and how we wanted our guests to experience the weekend. After discussing preliminary design ideas, Christine developed an entire vision board using Canva to highlight every aspect of our wedding from the save the dates and invitation suite to the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party. This is one of two areas where Christine really shines - design. She has a knack for pattern matching, incorporating details special to the couple, building color palettes and design themes as threads throughout the entire wedding, all while sticking to the budget. Additionally, Christine recommended amazing vendors to join our vendor team and she traveled with us to site visits, showrooms, and tastings as we planned the wedding. She answered communications in a timely manner and she genuinely cared about both our wedding and us every step of the way, she is an extraordinary professional. This is the other area where Christine really shines - professionalism. It rained on our wedding day, less than an hour before our outdoor ceremony was supposed to begin, Christine handled it alongside our venue coordinator with ease and I didn't even have to be involved. She handled all of our vendors seamlessly in the weeks leading up to the wedding and during the wedding weekend. She and her team executed our wedding superbly, allowing my now-husband and me to enjoy our wedding as the guests of honor, not the hosts.
I can't imagine having planned or executed our wedding without Christine, if you have the opportunity to work with her, don't miss it!
Christine and her team absolutely blew my wedding out of the park. There are not enough words to describe how magical she made our weekend and entire process planning our wedding. We hired Christine and her team for our September 2023 wedding, and it was hands down the best and most crucial decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Whenever I was starting to worry about any little detail, Christine had already thought of it and had a plan for execution. Through the several in person and virtual meetings, the design process and final preparation, up to the wedding day, I was always so at ease. I was able to find calmness in any stressful situation, thanks to her. My family, husband and I worked with Christine for a little over a year prior to our wedding and we always felt like we were Christine’s top priority. She not only was able to keep within our budget restraints, but her vision and ability to execute was truly unmatched. She showed so much compassion and patience, and it was truly a blessing to have her not only as our planner, but as a friend, by our side for this whirlwind of an adventure. From the initial phone call, we knew Christine was the perfect fit for planning our perfect day. Every step of the way she delivered, communicated, added value, and put our minds at ease.
To start, we shared maybe 6 images max. as inspiration for design and she created the day of our dreams from just that! Then, Christine helped keep us on track with planning and decision making by providing frequent check-ins, timelines, and a checklist of to-dos.
On the wedding day, Christine and her team (Mack and Jess!) were on top of every detail, not one thing out of place (seriously!). Both our guests and us deeply appreciated their kindness, organization, and helping hands during every moment — from getting ready to post-reception. We are so thankful to CME for making our wedding day so special!
How do I even put into words how amazing Christine and her team are? Hiring Christine was the best investment we made for our wedding.
Christine was an absolute dream to work with, from start to finish she made the wedding planning journey so much less stressful. I am a type A, anxious bride and former planner myself, ensuring we had the right planner was top priority. After our initial consultation we knew CME was the right fit. Christine made sure I felt prepared and calm throughout the entire process. Christine was always 5 steps ahead and a solution for everything - which spoiler alert every solution and idea was perfect.
We cannot recommend her or her team enough. She executed our vision perfectly, and exceeded our expectations.
Christine was the very best investment we have ever made, we highly recommend hiring her for the ‘full planning package’. Our wedding was executed flawlessly and her team went above and beyond what was expected of them. Our guests have told us over and over that our wedding was one the most beautiful weddings they have ever attended and every detail was thought of, that was all the CME team. Our friends and family also commented on how well of a job they did on the day of, everything was taken care of and we cannot thank her team enough. 1000/10 experience, you will not regret investing in the CME experience.
Christine was an absolute dream to work with. I could not recommend her or her team any more highly. She was beyond organized, executed our vision perfectly, and did it all while keeping within the budget restraints that were given to her. We felt prepared at every stage of the wedding planning process, and also very calm: if there were any problems along the way we were not aware of them, and if something did arise Christine already had a solution, and it was a great one; on theme and in budget.

We cannot imagine our wedding day without Christine and her wonderful team! From the first meeting with Christine to the last minutes of our wedding, she was always beyond kind, made us feel relaxed, and was very professional. Family and friends kept asking us why we were so stress free, and it is truly because of Christine. Every single design detail was thought of, the timeline she provided was throughly detailed for us and other vendors, and even made sure that it would stay on track! If something went wrong, we didn’t know about it! We have friends and family who are already asking us for her contact information, so we know they even noticed how amazing and incredible her work is. Spoiler alert - don’t think twice about hiring a wedding planner. They are the best investment you will make from the planning stages to the day of your wedding. Christine and her team create absolute magic. CME truly pulled every aspect of what we wanted out of our day and made it a reality. She just got us – she completely understood and helped tie together the look we were going for. Having previously been in the wedding industry myself, we had a solid vendor team already on board. Christine had no problem collaborating with the vendors we had already booked and worked closely with them to ensure the overall design was communicated clearly and executed flawlessly. The combination of white elements, mixed with subtle neutral hues, and monochromatic design came together so perfectly. They came up with things I couldn't have even imagined. From planning the timeline, vendor communication, to overall design and the mood that they created, I’m so thankful we had the privilege of working with them for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, there were literally ZERO issues and our guests still rave about how it was the most beautiful and nicest weddings they’ve ever been to. Everything was picture perfect, and we owe it all to CME!

Christine and her team are absolutely amazing! We selected the event management package for our big day and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Christine was so attentive and made us feel at ease in the midst of so many moving parts. Our lead coordinator Allie was truly fantastic and everything went so smoothly on the wedding day! Christine is the absolute best- she did an incredible job and I was so lucky to have her as our wedding planner. Christine was my wedding fairy godmother. First of all, she kept me sane and provided expert advice in the months leading up to my wedding. Then she went above and beyond to bring together a dream team - so much gratitude for CME's Allie and MacKenzie as well - to take care of our destination wedding weekend.
The team flawlessly prepared for and handled the logistics of our big busy wedding day. I'm talking 21 wedding party members, rehearsed the day before under their direction and coordination, and on the day of - having all of our friends and family in position for group portraits on the DOT to keep the schedule moving. I'm talking helping me keep track of details shipped from another state. I'm talking last minute candle votives! I'm talking... helping me add a last minute surprise musical performance for my husband to the timeline, like the week before!
I always knew Christine and I were on the same page at any given moment. She stayed true to everything that mattered to me and my husband, and made it so we didn't have to lift a finger on wedding day. I heard from my family and friends numerous times, throughout the wedding and after, of the things Christine and her team were doing to keep a pulse on every aspect of the day, and to truly coordinate every minute of it.

Christine and the CME team did and AMAZING job and went above and beyond for our wedding day. To begin with, she was the only planner who offered the package that served our needs and very affordably, which was design services and day of. From the beginning of the process through the end, Christine helped us through every step and decision flawlessly. On the big day, there were multiple points throughout the day where I was so impressed by the calmness of the team, their ability to always be where you needed them when you needed them and their overall attention to every single detail. I even had our photographer say how proactive and hard working they were. The were always one step ahead and addressed every need, which made the day run flawlessly and allowed us to relax and enjoy the fun. It truly was better than we could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone!
Christine and the CME team gave us the most perfect wedding day, and we can’t recommend them enough! We went into our initial phone call with only a general idea of what we wanted for our wedding, and Christine took our vision and crafted a design plan that was everything we wanted with every detail considered. She gave us an easy roadmap to follow for selecting vendors and decor that would bring the design to life. She was available to us every step of the way with reminders and check ins to keep us on track. Throughout the planning process Christine was highly organized and on top of every detail while remaining so easygoing, which reduced a lot of our stress. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Christine coordinated with all of our vendors so that we didn’t have to worry about any logistical details. The day of the wedding Christine and her team were there to help with every detail no matter how small, and went above and beyond to keep the day running smoothly. Christine and team popped into my Instagram "discovery" page at the right moment. We had just postponed our 2020 wedding to 2021 and I was feeling so lost! After the first conversation with Christine I knew we needed her and her team to be our month of coordinator!
Christine immediately understood that while our big ticket items were done, but that the fine details were just as important. She was always there with tips, recommendations, suggestions, etc. She promptly answered emails and was instrumental in our day of timeline and gave me a sense of ease which does not come to many brides. Christine and Emily (and team) made our day as smooth as I could ever imagine!
Our vendors, parents, and guests could not stop saying how smoothly everything ran (even after we learned that uber could not find the right drop off spot). I can honestly say that our day was the best day ever and most of that is because of how CME handled everything and I got to truly be in the moment and enjoy the day
Just don’t get married without Christine there, that’s my biggest wedding planning tip. She is on top of everything, her team is amazing and she made the day of so calm and smooth, I can’t gosh enough about her. Both my parents, spouse and I agree that we didn’t pay her enough for all she did for us to make our wedding more fun and meaningful than I could have imagined.
Christine and her team are THE BEST OF THE BEST, hands down! We hired Christine for a partial planning package but I felt like we had a full-time planner because she went so above and beyond. At our first meeting (15 months before our wedding) Christine set us up with all of the tools we needed to plan, checked in with us every single month leading up to our wedding to ensure that we were on track, and answered all of our calls/texts/emails whenever we needed her.
From the moment of our first call, Christine felt like a friend and someone I could trust, not to mention I knew she understood our vision and what we were trying to achieve. When I doubted myself or our ideas, Christine pushed us in the most gracious and supportive way encouraging us to “go for it” and thank god she did because our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams.
Christine is everything you want in a planner – she’s cool, calm and collective, extremely organized, has a great eye for style and design, and most importantly she anticipates all of your needs and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. She also has an incredible reputation – every vendor we reached out to (even those that we found on our own) RAVED about Christine and her team. She’s truly an expert in this field and we couldn’t be more thankful that we had her as part of our team.

I hired CME for partial planning of my 200 person wedding. My only regret is not hiring them for full. I am a very detail oriented yet indecisive person. I had a general idea of what I liked design wise but no idea how to articulate it nor bring it to life. After a phone consult with Christine she was able to create a cohesive, unique, romantic and beautiful wedding design. Through out the entire process Christine was available to advise me, to make recommendations, and to calm me. She went above and beyond what she was hired for - helping me choose between other vendors, choose my dress, and even driving 2 plus hours to come to the appointment with me to choose linens and tableware. On the day of, she and her team worked seamlessly. They were able to keep everything on track despite having a hiccup with transportation in the beginning of the night (a hiccup which they quickly and calmly helped us navigate). They also worked wonderfully with the other vendor teams. After seeing me go through the wedding process and witnessing CME in action my recently engaged friend also hired her. I truly can not say enough nice things about Christine and her team. I am so incredibly grateful to them all. My wedding was the best day of my life and I owe it to Christine McFarlane Events and her incredible team.
I used Christine McFarlane as my day of coordinator for my wedding on 9/18/21. Christine was amazing from the start and throughout the whole process. She answered any questions I had during the planning process and gave checklists each month that were very helpful. She ran our rehearsal so smoothly. Christine and Allie were so helpful through the entire planning process. They were very prompt in replying to all of my questions ahead of time, helped us find vendors when we weren't sure what we were looking for, helped us stay on track through the planning process, and they made the wedding day run so smoothly. We hired Christine and her time to do month of/day of planning for our wedding in Kent Island, MD. When the inevitable happened and we postponed for a year due to the pandemic, we were so nervous. Christine has an amazing ability to take all pieces of any vision you have and make everything cohesive. Her creativity is absolutely un-matched! No idea is “impossible” to bring to life with Christine. I was the type of bride who would often ask Christine for her thoughts and opinions on many details I might not have confidently executed on my own. It was like talking with a friend who would do anything for you and support you! She was immediately in tune with our vibe and could essentially read our minds after some time throughout the whole planning process! She was the exact energy that my husband and I needed through postponing our wedding due to Covid. Christine went above and beyond and we are forever grateful.
Christine and her team are truly the “calm within the storm” during wedding day. They will check in on you while also being the powerhouse behind the scenes making everything move seamlessly. Christine is absolutely not afraid to take charge and support you at all times throughout the wedding day (and process). She is in your corner and would be right by your side whenever you’d need her. She was the reassuring face we would look to that kept me and my husband grounded and present during our eventful and extremely detailed day. Words cannot describe how amazing that made us feel, especially when there is so much “buzz” circulating around you during the wedding.
It was truly amazing to watch Christine and her team work with other vendors so effortlessly, as if they had been a well-oiled machine for years. We were in complete awe watching them move behind the scenes. Her team did not stop hustling in the extreme August heat! They helped guests navigate our beer tasting escort wall, pumped up the dance floor, made sure we were well-fed (and had drinks!), and took care of all of the clean-up post wedding so that it was not even a thought.
We will ABSOLUTELY recommend Christine to anyone and everyone! It would be hard to believe that there is anyone that can do it any better.

Where do I even begin? Christine and her team were INCREDIBLE. They were so organized and made sure everything went smoothly. During the ceremony, my strap broke. Christine, Emily and her team could not have been a better choice to hire for our wedding. Throughout the planning process her team and herself were responsive, helpful and went out of the way to make sure our day went perfectly. During our ceremony my wife's dress broke and Christine came to the rescue with a sewing kit and saved the day. Best decision we ever made to hire them and I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone.
Christine and Emily were my coordinators for my wedding in May 2021 and they were absolutely amazing! I talked to so many event planners trying to find someone in my budget who I felt would fit my needs, and they hit every mark. When I hired them, Christine sent an amazing wedding timeline checklist so I knew when to do what, and kept me organized. She e-mailed me every month making sure I was getting everything done! Even though I only hired them for coordination and not event planning, Christine was more than happy to answer any questions I had about decor or logistics. On the actual wedding day everything ran very smoothly- if anything went wrong, I didn't know about it! I would highly recommend them for your wedding planners!

We had to completely re-plan our wedding in about 5 and a half months after covid forced our original venue to close, and Christine and her team delivered beyond our wildest expectations. From coordinating all of our vendors, to guiding us through the rehearsal, to making our dream reception a reality, and even dealing with the inevitable issues that pop up on the day of the wedding, Christine handled everything flawlessly. I cannot say enough about our experience with CME. The whole process - from planning to post - was extremely seamless. Christine has to be a mind reader, as she was able to put my jumbled thoughts and ideas down on a vision board perfectly and brought it to life. COVID presented a lot of challenges like our guest count fluctuating just weeks before the big day, and CME was there for us during our tough conversations, re-routing to Plan B (or C, D, etc.) and then routing back to Plan A. The day of was amazing - Emily, Carmen and Mackenzie were so incredibly helpful to not only us but our wedding party and our family. They never seemed to get in the way but were always there when we needed them. A truly perfect addition to our wedding planning process.
Christine and her team were my saving grace during the entire wedding process. Being a COVID bride, we made lots of date changes, venue changes, everything. Christine and Allie were always a text or call away and knew what I needed before I did. They are hands down the best part of a wedding vendor team, and I can’t imagine a day that didn’t have them in it.

I don’t even know where to start with this review! CME BLEW US AWAY! Michael and I got engaged just before Covid struck...we began eagerly planning our wedding in Jan 2020 for just 6 short months from the day we got engaged. I instantly turned to CME without hesitation- best move we ever did. Mid March came and so did the pandemic...every couples nightmare. Christine & her team stayed calm, positive and reassured Michael and I that no matter what, everything would be OK. We continued planning in hopes the pandemic would subside before our July wedding but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. CME were rockstars with picking up our perfectly planned wedding, and moving it to April 2021. Christine & her team were very responsive to emails, texts and many many phone calls on our year long journey of planning; I never once felt like a burden. CME was genuinely looking out for our best interest and you could clearly see that on our special day. They took our vision and brought it to life perfectly! If there were any hiccups on our wedding day, Michael and I have yet to know about them! We cannot thank Christine, Megan, Andy and the rest of the CME team enough for all that they have done. Christine was my sisters wedding coordinator and she did such a wonderful job, that when it came time for my wedding we new we would use her again!
Christine literally saved my life, when COVID hit and the country shut down just TWO weeks before my wedding she stepped in and went above and beyond. She pretty much took over everything for me. She helped coordinate new dates with my venue and ALL venders TWICE!

As soon as we landed on a date for our wedding and signed with the venue, we quickly realized that we needed a coordinator. We were just under a year out from our big day, and that’s when we found Christine and the CME team!
Recommended to us by a friend, we hired Christine McFarlane Events for their full planning services. Just from her social posts and the design inspirations I had in mind, we seemed like the perfect match. And our first phone call sealed the deal on working with her! From then on out, Christine helped us build the wedding of our dreams, assembling the best vendor team possible. I kept saying to my now husband, “Everything is going beyond well, the wedding process has been too perfect!” Even from afar, as my husband and I live in NYC, and our wedding was taking place in Maryland, Christine always checked in, making sure we were getting all of our scheduled and well organized tasks tasks checked off in a timely manner.
One week following our tasting and venue walk through with Christine, the entire Northeast went into shutdown due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. My husband and I were very nervous how to proceed as our wedding was scheduled in 3 months time. As challenging of a time this was, Christine helped us every step of the way, from postponing a month out, managing our vendors, and making sure every aspect of our wedding was within State and CDC guidelines. She took all of our last minute cancellations and changes in stride, and our special day was as smooth as could be. I cannot thank Christine and her team enough for turning our dream wedding day into a reality.
The number of compliments we received from our friends and family in attendance were unsurmountable. We cannot stop looking though our photos, reminiscing about all of the moments that Christine and team helped bring to life. All the love for this team. Oh where would I be without Christine.... Christine McFarlane Events (CME) made all of our hopes and dreams come to life! As I sit here and write this review, I have the worlds biggest smile on my face with tears streaming down my cheeks as I think back on the most perfect and biggest day of our lives. Everything was literally textbook. All worries went out the door having CME coordinate our wedding and oh boy was it a true fairytale! I have never felt so reassured and calm in my entire life. Christine is like an angel; always present and overseeing everything to ensure that our big day was on point/organized and it surely was! I have never met a more reliable, trustworthy and beautiful person inside and out. Weddings can be absolutely stressful, but with the right team on your side, it is as if you're royalty knowing that everything is being handled for you and everything is going to be beautiful and spectacular. Communication is key to a bride in planning. Whenever I had a question and or felt anxious, CME was there providing me with all the reassurance I needed and I immediately felt the weight removed from my shoulders. I want to relive my wedding day over and over again and it's all because of the spectacular CME team! This coordinator is the best to ever do it I can assure anyone of that! I am eternally grateful for CME and the beautiful, priceless memories that I will forever have and cherish all due to the wonderful, vibrant souls and fabulous work ethic affiliated with this event coordinating company. Christine and Allie were amazing! We had a micro wedding with only 16 immediate family members so I was on the fence about whether to hire a day of coordinator. I am so glad that we did. Christine was super helpful during the planning process and thought of details that I never would have. I also did not have to stress about anything the day of the wedding and got to enjoy spending time with our families rather than worrying about last minute details and changes. I highly recommend Christine and team!
Hiring Christine was the best decision we ever made. She is patient, kind, calming and an overall joy to have by your side. We decided to go with a wedding coordinator as our venue was very unique and wanted to hire someone with experience to help us through planning and the day of. She checked in with us monthly to make sure we stayed on track, answered any questions we had along the way. No question was too big or too small for her. Christine also has amazing recommendations and connections for vendors which was extremely helpful in the planning process. Half way through our planning COVID hit and Christine was our absolute rock. As we got closer to our wedding date she adjusted everything to follow CDC guidelines and ensured everyone’s safety. 3 weeks before our big day we had to change our ceremony location and Christine acted quickly to help us replan half of our wedding. To say she kept us sane is an understatement. As our wedding day came we had an extremely unexpected event which left me, the bride, two hours behind schedule. She kept our guests happy while they waited, moved our schedule around and most importantly supported my husband. Our vendors and venue had nothing but amazing things to say about working with Christine. Her professionalism within the wedding community played a huge part in the success of our big day. I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for us.
Christine was amazing. From the first meeting to the lights being turned off, she was attentive, kept us on our timeline, and delivered an amazing event. On the Monday before our Friday wedding we had to change venues due to a hurricane and she dealt with it like a pro. We were understandably nervous and she just kept saying I got it and the results were unbelievable. Christine took care of the heavy lifting and we were able to truly enjoy our special day. If 6-stars were an option I would have done it.

We were lucky enough to land Christine as our head event planner/coordinator for our wedding. We chose the "Marble" package, and Christine was a coordinating star. For a bride with a now out-of-state Mom and no sisters, planning largely fell on my plate, but Christine helped to make a process with so many moving parts go so smoothly, and put me so much more at ease throughout. We looked forward to her monthly checklists to ensure we were on track with our own planning. During our wedding venue walk through, Christine was professional, calming and really meshed with us as a couple. Both myself, and my now husband remember expressing to each other afterward that we felt we could breathe a sigh of relief having her on our team. She came more than prepared, worked easily with our venue staff as well as our catering crew. We could rest assured all of our bases would be covered. I was able to communicate with Christine often, with smaller details, advice and recommendations from her experience, always making me feel I wasn't a solo bride planning blindly. A HUGE help was creating our "Day Of" Timeline. Christine coordinated between all vendor teams, (& was helpful to share with my family/wedding party) assured they had all correct information, locations, addresses, and important times, which easily took stress off of my plate. She attended our rehearsal at the church the day prior to help run things smoothly. Day of, I was so excited to see her, again, simply because seeing her, I felt calm, and felt everything was taken care of. Christine and her team set up our venue reception with all of my décor and brought my vision from simple powerpoints with ideas and inspo, in which they executed beautifully. Hands down, we are BEYOND pleased with Christine, her team and our experience. Largely because of her, we, our family and friends were truly able to enjoy every minute of our wedding day. My husband and I originally hired Christine to be our wedding 'day of coordinator' and we quickly learned she was so much more than that. Christine is incredibly responsive, patient, organized, participated in multiple site visits and answered all our questions - big and small. We weren't sure how to communicate our "vision", but with Christine's help, the day came together beautifully. She took all of our small ideas and just an inventory list and turned it into a day we will always want to relive! When I had a last minute worries, they handled it all with ease. Hiring Christine took the pressure off of all venue, vendor and event coordination off of us and our families, which was essential to our wedding. I would absolutely work with Christine again and definitely recommend her company!

Christine and her team is great! Her calming demeanor and flexibility were very helpful when planning a wedding cross country! Leading up to the day her Monthly checklists kept us organized and on task. She was always available for a call about planning, to bounce creative ideas off of and even helping us scramble to find a new caterer and hair stylist when we were left without one 1-2 months prior! Her organization with the checklist and timeline were EXTREMELY helpful especially since we got married on our property so we had multiple vendors to coordinate and communicate with. The day of she showed up extra early to set up all our decorations, communicate with vendors and even continually checking in on the bride/groom to make sure we were calm and happy! We highly recommend her passionate, hardworking and genuinely kind team!

CME helped take the event that I had been planning for months to the finish line. They made it so I could actually enjoy the day. Christine helped with the floorplan and the master timeline of everything (sooo important to the success of the day). Allie was with us starting at the rehearsal all the way until the end of the reception the next day.
She set my decorations and props to exceed my instagram/pinterest dreams. She even handled pretty big issues without me sweating or even know about them. Our limo bus called an hour before it was supposed to arrive to say it was sending a much smaller vehicle, and I found out 3 weeks after the wedding a major catering mishap occurred and I had no idea!
All you brides and grooms deserve to be present and enjoy the day you have been planning for months. I whole-heartedly believe that a coordinator is a completely necessary expense to your wedding, and if you are lucky enough to book CME you must!
My husband and I enthusiastically recommend Christine McFarlane Events. We worked with Christine to plan our late August outdoor wedding at the Howard County Conservancy. We envisioned a casual picnic reception with our closest friends and family and our priorities were to make use of the location’s beautiful outdoor space and to provide as guest-friendly an experience as possible. Christine listened to our ideas and elevated them to design an event more lovely than we ever could have created on our own, while staying true to who we are as a couple.
Aside from the scenic grounds, our venue was pretty much a blank slate -- we had to rent furniture, bring in caterers and a bartender, provide signage, etc. Christine researched vendors for us and kept track of payment schedules, and it was such a relief to know that her team would be there to coordinate arrivals, direct vendors, and set everything up. She also found and ordered most of the decor items for us, and brought them with her the day of the event which saved our families from having to shuttle it all to the venue for set-up. Thanks to her team, the day of the wedding was about as carefree as it could be.
Her support became even more valuable when a short, unexpected downpour complicated our reception. Her team moved the event seamlessly inside and the show went on before I even had time to stress about it. All of our guests had a great time, and commented on how “us” the wedding felt.
