I live in Maryland but grew up in NY and got married on 9/22/12 and had my wedding reception at Bear Mountain State Park, so I had to choose a lot of my wedding services online. I was so pleased with Christopher's Studio's portfolio and after c...omparing to many other photographers, I decided book them. First, it was very difficult to communicate with Chris and it always took a while to hear back from him. After trying numerous times to set up an engagement photo session, we finally met for the first time and took photos. We got some great shots from Chris and his associate but found out then that he was NOT going to be photographing our wedding. It took about 2 months to see our engagement photos. For our wedding, his associate and teenage son show up to shoot our wedding. His son did not look like he wanted to be there. Picture taking was kind of awkward and there wasn't much creativity. After 3 months, we did not see our photos. It was difficult trying to book an appointment with him just to get our flash drive. We finally ended up meeting at the end of December and got our photos and video. We were SO disappointed. Although we received 1,000 photos, there were only a few that were okay. The rest not great. None of the photos had great quality and pretty much all of them were out of focus. When we finally watched our wedding video, the first thing we noticed was that our ceremony was missing. I panicked that it was lost but after hearing back from Chris he said that it was on a separate disc and that he would send it. The rest of the video kept skipping and we could not even view the last half. As of 11/1/13, we are still waiting for a new copy of our video after explaining numerous times what was wrong. We JUST received our album and canvas print (which was part of our $4,800 package) on 10/31/13. I picked out the photos and cover album very quickly in May 2013. I was told it would be ready in 3 months. A little while after 3 months, I tried to get an update and again it was difficult to get an answer. I was really patient the entire time and kept thinking he was just busy with other weddings but was really disappointed at the quality and length of time it took to receive anything. I'm sure I would have had a better experience had Chris been able to photograph our wedding but given the less than stellar experience we had with his associate, I would have expected Chris to make more of an effort to get our photos and video to us quicker and maybe edit them better especially since we spent so much money. It's truly unfortunate to have this experience and I am currently trying to edit our photos myself so I have something to share with my friends and family. I really didn't want to leave a poor review but it's been over a year and we just got our album and canvas and still waiting for our video and all we're left with is grainy mediocre photos.
