Chryssie's Bridal

We had an excellent experience at Chryssie’s Bridal. I am a bridesmaid and I went to Chryssie’s with my friend (the bride), her parents and another bridesmaid. The bridal consultants and owner, George, were incredibly accommodating and attentive. The selection of dresses was great, and the team was very patient and helpful as we tried dozens of dresses over the course of 2.5 hours. Jill took amazing care of us as our primary consultant, while the whole team did a fabulous job finding my friend’s dream dress. It was a fun day for all of us and I’m so glad we chose Chryssie’s.

I had an extremely positive experience at Chryssie’s Bridal. Jill paid close attention to detail and was determined to find my dream dress. She even looked at my wedding Pinterest board to better understand the vibe I was looking for at the wedding. I was so anxious to try on dresses for the first time and the team at Chryssie’s Bridal made me feel supported and welcomed. I found my dream dress and it ended up being the first one I tried on!

Avoid this shop. Go elsewhere. My experience here started off positive. I said "yes" to the dress and the sales woman was very nice. It all went downhill from there. They ordered the dress one size too small, so when I went to try it on, I was popping out of it. And instead of apologizing and offering some sort of compensation for the added stress and mistake, the owner tried to blame me. He had the saleswoman remeasure me--guess what? I had the same measurements as when they placed the order! He begrudgingly dropped it and covered the cost to rush order a new dress from overseas, but the entire customer service experience was awful. I worked with the seamstress they are partnered with upstairs from the shop, also a mistake. I booked the first appointment with the owner of the shop and upon arrival, he informed she had called out sick. He never thought to pick up the phone and tell me that they would need to cancel my appointment. It took me 40 minutes to get there in traffic, so over an hour was wasted in my car because he couldn't be bothered to make a phone call. The seamstress was nice, but the job she did on the dress was really low quality. I had to go back several times for fittings and when I picked up the final fit, the cups weren't even sewn in. On my wedding day, the cap sleeves kept falling off because they weren't properly secured and the hem of my dress had threads coming off in all directions. It was really shoddy work. Plus, I paid to have my dress pressed and the back was still totally wrinkled. My bridesmaids had to spend the morning steaming it to get all the wrinkles out. And to add insult to injury, when I picked up the dress, it wasn't even in a nice garment bag. They wrapped a cheap pink, see-through plastic bag around it so my fiance could see the dress. So much for keeping that a surprise. You would think that after spending thousands on a dress, they could at least provide an adequate garment bag. Just avoid the hassle, the poor customer service, and the poor workmanship and go elsewhere.

I wish I could give 100 stars! Sonia was my consultant and was absolutely AMAZING! She was attentive and listened to everything I wanted in a wedding gown. The store was beautiful, clean, and honestly exceeded my every expectations. I wouldn’t have wanted to get my gown anywhere else. We were even able to get a maid of honor dress and will be returning for a MOB dress. Thank you so much to the amazing team at Chryssie’s. I wish I could relive this experience over and over again!

I had Jill and she was absolutely amazing. The first visit was the first time I was trying on wedding dresses. As we tried on styles she was hearing and taking in everything and we ended the night with two dresses that I loved and couldn’t make a final decision. Jill understood I needed time to think and I came back exactly a week later. I walked in to a big welcome and smile with a surprise that a new dress came in that she pulled for me to try on. That surprise dress was the one! It truly shows how thoughtful she is and how amazing she is at her job. I am beyond happy with my experience here and look forward to my continued visits over the next year.

The staff at Chryssie’s Bridal is amazing! I had a wonderful time working them to not only pick out my wedding dress, but we also had an impromptu MOB and MOG appointment and they too were able to leave having picked out their dream dress for my wedding! I had an excellent experience at Chryssie's Bridal! I worked with Sonia, who is so incredibly kind and helpful. I came in not really knowing what I wanted, and she was incredibly patient in pulling dresses of many different styles and really listening when I said what I liked about each dress. The very last dress she pulled for me was a combination of all of my favorite elements of the dresses I tried and I knew that it was going to be my dress. I bought my wedding dress from here for my wedding on June 25th of this year and it was such an amazing experience. Sonia (who helped me pick out my dress), George, and everyone else in the shop are very friendly and helpful. They also work directly with a tailor upstairs (Dorica) who can do any alterations needed for a very reasonable cost. Very happy that I said yes to my dress at Chryssie's Bridal!

I found my dress recently at Chryssie's and it was a great experience! I worked with Sonia and she was able to pull exactly the dresses I was looking for and pushed me to try some dresses that I was not originally picturing and I am so glad she did as I ended up going with one of the dresses she pulled. She was very knowledgable and experienced. The atmosphere was comfortable and I didn't feel rushed at all while making my decision. I would definitely recommend Chryssie's.

I went here to get my wedding dress. I had an idea of I would have liked. Christina and George were amazing, offering me different options. Christina did an amazing job helping me out. I finally found my dream dress and it was within my budget.

I worked with Cristina today and was blown away. She was able to pull dresses that matched my vision perfectly and kept the mood fun and light throughout our visit. There are a ton of options and it didn’t feel overwhelming at all, just fun and beautiful. I highly recommend. I found my dream dress today and ordered it! Thank you so much!!

Sonia at Chryssie's made the entire wedding dress selection process better than I could have imagined! She made the decision hard but so easy at the same time. She was so personable, listened to your ideas, comments, wants and wishes and truly brought them to life. She found me my dream dress!

This place was amazing. They had a wonderful selection of dresses and the consultants knew all the dresses so well. This was my first time dress shopping and they made me feel so comfortable. They did not rush me into making a decision and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. I would highly recommend this store!

Chryssie’s bridal was a dream experience. Sonja was a fantastic help who made just the right suggestions. She really was in tune with what I did and didn’t like but also encouraged me to take some risks and i’m so glad i did because i found the dress of my dreams. i can’t say enough good things about my experience

Chryssie's Bridal was wonderful! I forget the name of the woman that helped me find my dress (it was over a year ago) but she was so nice and knew exactly what dresses to pull for me. I had so many compliments on my dress, it couldn't have been more perfect. They were also able to refer me to a seamstress that is in the same building which was so convenient. Leading up the wedding I didn't want to keep the dress at my apartment and they were able to hold on to the dress for my until the week of my wedding. I highly recommend Chryssie's Bridal!

I had the most amazing experience at Chryssie's Bridal! I could not believe what an incredible selection of all different styles they had. I brought 4 family members with me and we had the entire back room. I like that you and whoever you bring can browse through their dresses. I've been to other places where the stylist only brings you the dresses but you can't browse. I wasn't sure what style I wanted so I loved this! They were also so supportive in putting in a rush order so I get my dress on time. Can't recommend enough!!!

Chryssie’s had a great selection of dresses and even better customer service. Sonia was fantastic and knew exactly what I wanted. She went above and beyond to make this a stress free, enjoyable experience.

Chryssie’s Bridal is amazing! The entire staff is super accommodating and friendly. I tried on multiple gowns (and still hadn’t made up my mind). I went back another day and they provided me with another great (patient haha) experience. This time I found my dress! They work closely with the seamstress upstairs, who also did a wonderful job. My dress was perfect! I brought my dress back there (after my wedding) for preservation as well. I highly recommend Chryssie’s Bridal!

I had a great experience here! I had gone to two salons prior to this but wish I went here first. I liked how I could look at the dresses on the rack myself and request ones to be pulled. I tried on so many dresses, way more than anywhere else. I felt I could try on different styles and wasn't pressured to buy. I also did not feel rushed at all! I went on a weekday night. The dresses are in perfect condition and are cared for so well. I bought a dress off the rack simply because I loved it and it fit so well! I liked that they voluntarily held my dress up until I needed it for my wedding. The staff were great and organized!

Jill was AMAZING! So friendly and was very accommodating since I didn’t really come in with specifics on what I wanted. Highly recommend, they have a great selection !

Horrible. I had to go in way to many times for fittings. Extremely stressful. They even forgot about my last fitting a week before my wedding and made come back because my dress had not been altered. They didn’t give me my dress until 2 days before my wedding but forgot to sew my belt on it. So the night before my wedding they were fixing it. My dress still was baggy the day of my wedding. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Sonia at Chryssie’s Bridal was amazing. I was nervous going in and had no idea what I wanted. She picked out stunning dresses and helped me narrow it down to the perfect dress. She made the experience fun which immediately put me at ease. She was so knowledgeable about the large inventory. The appointment wasn’t rushed which was amazing!

I can not say enough positive things about Chryssie's Bridal! I was recommended to Chryssie's by friends and now recommend over and over. Hillary was amazing to work with- she helped me find my dream dress. I got my bridesmaids dresses and alterations done with them as well and couldn't be happier.

I had an amazing experience at Chryssie’s bridal! The first dress I tried on I knew it was the one. Everyone working was so helpful and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I can’t wait to go back with my bridesmaids to find there perfect dresses!!

They had my dress! I had found my dress up in NH but Chryssies had it available and at a better price. The biggest bonus was a seamstress on site and they preserve your dress. They have it all! I had the best experience with them! Everyone was wonderful and supportive.

This weekend I bought my wedding dress with the help of Jill. I was fairly stressed that morning but the moment I walked in and was greeted I started to feel at ease. I couldn't thank the entire team at Chryssie's enough for making me feel comfortable and helping me find that dream gown. They didn't rush me once and my voice was heard when I did/didn't like something, which is huge for me. There were no sales pitch and when buying a bridal gown that's all I could ask for. I now feel amazing with my choice and I have Jill and the rest of the team to thank for that.

I went to Chryssie’s Bridal a few weeks ago for my first time ever to try on wedding gowns. I was excited and nervous, but I had a great feeling when I made my appt as both my sister and cousin got their dresses there. My consultant, Faith, was very nice, but my dress shopping experience took a turn for the worse. I shouldn’t have to disclose that I am a plus size bride, but apparently I should have. Out of the entire store there was 1 (ONE) gown I was able to try on. Faith grabbed the ONE dress in my size in store and when I got it on my body she said “yeah I’m just really good at my job”. Sure ma’am, I get you may be good at your job, but you can’t expect a bride, at her first ever dress shopping appointment, to try on ONE gown and think that’s the one. Any other dresses that were brought to me, I had to stand in the doorway of the fitting room (half naked) and hold it up to my body and she kept saying to me “well we can order any dress in any size or color” REALLY??? I had no clue you could do that. Wow thanks for the tip. After HOLDING dresses up to my body, I put back on the ONE dress I tried on and man did she ever try to sell that dress like it was the only dress she could ever sell. Telling me I could get a $100 (lol) off referral discount, I could add a new belt, sparkle tuule underneath, ETC. I was even offered to buy it off the rack for another discount , mind you THE DRESS DIDNT FIT- it DID NOT close in the back. Needless to say, I cried leaving the boutique , and not happy tears like your supposed to when finding a gown. I was SO disappointed and truthfully disgusted that they only had 1 gown for me to try on. Luckily I had an appt 2 weeks later elsewhere and found my dream dress, this other boutique had every dress in a “standard” size and plus size. I know many people who have had success at this boutique and I have heard great things. In the end, if your a plus size bride and need gowns sizes 20+ , don’t waste your time coming here. They only have ONE gown. The least they could’ve done was tell me before wasting an hour of my life, that they don’t have many plus size options in store. I included in my questionnaire that I was sent when I made my appt (6 months prior) that I was plus size- which I shouldn’t have even had to disclose. But here we are, found my gown elsewhere, and writing this review :) If you’re plus size, think about shopping else where, if your average or can fit into sample sizes- you may have luck!

I was very happy with my experience at Chryssie’s Bridal and recommend them for your bridal needs! This was my second stop and found my dress August 2019. We went ahead with a small wedding in June 2020 despite Covid and Chryssie’s Bridal helped to ease my anxiety. I was able to get my dress fitted and altered upstairs with their seamstress who listened to what I wanted. The dress was pressed and ready for pick up on time without any issues! Although I did not get my accessories on site, they had a lot of options to make the process easier. I got so many compliments on my dress and couldn’t have been happier! Thank you George and staff!

Had a great experience at Chryssie's Bridal. My mother and I went on a Wednesday morning and it was the perfect time to go. Hillary was great and super helpful. I had been to three other places before coming here but hadn't found one that was it. Ended up saying YES to a dress that Hillary had pulled and it was perfect and bought it off the rack. Thank you !!

I used Chryssie’s for both my wedding gown and my bridesmaids dresses! I worked with Hilary who is great! She is very knowledgable and is also a seamstress so she was helpful with regard to fittings! My dress was gorgeous and Hilary didn’t have it in the store, but got it for me without issue. The only issue I did have was with the bridesmaids dresses. The designer changed the sizing chart after my girls were fitted and no one called to tell us. When they got the dresses back two of them were too small based on the new chart. They were able to make adjustments and the dresses looked great at the wedding, but I do wish they had called about the sizing. As far as the fittings.. their seamstress is fantastic! She worked fast and helped myself and my mother (who didn’t even buy her dress there) feel beautiful in our dresses!

This place is amazing! Joanna helped me find the perfect dress. I was completely lost had no idea and she worked with me to find the absolute perfect dress that I always wanted but was probably a little too shy to ever pick. Later, we went back for bridesmaid dresses and they helped to find the perfect dresses for my girls! This place really is the best, if you're in the area looking for a dress or dresses you need to stop in!

I absolutely loved my experience bridal dress shopping at Chryssie’s Bridal. The staff was polite and accommodating. I had the best consultant ever, thank you Rinda you made my bridal dress shopping experience incredible. I fell in love with the boutique and the abundance of wedding dress styles at Chryssie’s Bridal. When I made my appointment I was able to bring my mom and she enjoyed every moment of the shop. From the moment I walked in it was a completely different experience from other shops I been too. Rinda was kind, attentive, patient, supportive and made my mom and I feel so welcomed. She did everything in her power to find me a dress that I loved that was in my price range. I highly encourage any bride to schedule an appointment at Chryssie’s Bridal and request Rinda. First time at Chryssies. Joanna was my consultant, and she was amazing. She was very patient and not pushy. She knew exactly what would look good on me. I said yes to the dress. Would highly reccomend her and Chryssies.

I kept finding dresses that were almost perfect but needed this added this taken off , i was getting discouraged and then I went to Chryssie’s! Hillary was amazing she heard me when I told her what I was looking for , she found 3 dresses that all could have been the one . After a few tweaks moving the straps to off the shoulder , I found the one ! It was such a great experience I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful gown and expert sales associates.!

I had an amazing experience here. Joanna was fun, and pulled my dress on the first try. I tried on others after, but kept going back to the first one. i was able to try on all different styles and cuts. I look forward to going back to get my alterations done.

Chryssies bridal was fabulous and Joanna was beyond amazing! I had a not so great experience at another bridal salon and wasn’t feeling great going into this appointment. I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in. Joanna knows what she is talking about and it was so lovely having her expertise. I almost didn’t go to Chryssie’s Bridal after I found what I thought was my dream dress at another store. My mom convinced me to go to Chryssie’s and I am so glad I did! The staff was wonderful and inviting, I felt comfortable the minute I stepped in the door. I worked with Joanna who was amazing! She was so kind and made me feel special in every dress I put on. She listened to what I was looking for but also gave expert opinions on what looked good on my body shape and if she didn’t feel a dress was the right fit (which I needed!) Joanna never tried to sell me on a dress over my budget and I never once felt pressured to buy anything. I tried on every dress I had my eyes on and the staff even stayed a few minutes after closing to make sure I saw everything, seriously they were fantastic! I was able to experiment with all sorts of dresses and all different kinds of veils. Chryssie’s selection of dresses was also impressive, they have such a large variety of styles and designs to choose from. It is safe to say that I have found my new dream wedding dress at Chryssie’s Bridal and couldn’t be happier!

I just ordered my wedding dress from Chryssie's Bridal! Chryssie's was the only shop I went to try on dresses and I was very happy with my appointment and enjoyed working with Joanna! She's very knowledgeable, listens to your likes/dislikes and really made the appointment fun and special. I was the first appointment of the day (which I highly recommend doing) and took my mom, my maid of honor (sister), my matron of honor (best friend) and my future mother in law. Everybody had a great time, lots of room to sit, they offered us water and it felt like our private place for the majority of the appointment, being so early on a Sunday. I originally came in intent on only one designer (only one I looked at online) but none were in stock, but there's such a great selection of dresses I didn't feel that I was "missing" anything. Joanna pulled awesome picks based on what I liked and we were able to quickly narrow down to a style I loved. I never felt rushed or pressured; it was really fun and I felt very "bridal" :-) I said yes to a beautiful Stella York and I'm excited to work with Chryssie's when it's time for alterations!

Chryssie’s was the first and only salon I went to! I went with the intention to start looking and get an idea of what I wanted. My mom, sister, and I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. Joanna was so incredibly helpful and gave her HONEST opinion, it felt like another friend or family member was there shopping with me, not a consultant who was trying to pressure me into buying a dress. Even though we found a great dress early on, Joanna insisted I continue trying dresses to make sure what I loved was really going to be my dress. Joanna’s eye for what works on your body type was an added bonus! She found me a beautiful veil that matches my dress perfectly. I went on a Thursday evening and she came in just for me 🤗 Chryssie’s is a gorgeous shop that feels intimate but has a great selection. I can’t wait to show off my gown and don’t want to have to wait for my wedding! I’d recommend Chryssie’s to anyone who wants to have a fun, pressure free dress shopping experience with someone who really knows what they’re talking about!

I got my wedding dress from Chryssie's for my wedding last fall and I am so happy with my experience here! I had done some research on designers and made an appointment at Chryssie's since they seemed to have a lot of dresses from a designer I liked. Hillary talked to me about what I liked and she and few of my family members pulled about 10-12 dresses for me to try. I ended up picking the first one she pulled but was deciding between 2 of them and wanted to make some custom changes, Hillary was great and pulled a bunch of extra pieces until we found something I liked! I ended up adding a belt to the dress and lace sleeves, which were hand stitched by their fabulous alterations woman Juliette! I ended up with my perfect dress, never felt rushed at any of my appointments, and paid less than I was expecting!

I love Chryssie Bridal! I got my dress here after a friend referred me a couple years ago! Today, I brought my sister who is getting married and she found her dress here too!! Joanna was nothing but Amazing!! She’s was so helpful, professional and made the experience so Fun! Can’t wait to come back in a week to get our Bridesmaids dresses!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chryssie’s bridal! The first thing I tell brides about wedding planning is to go to Chryssies!! JOANNA is an all star!!! Hillary and George wonderful too! Joanna knows exactly what she is doing and gives you the attention you need and DESERVE! She is the reason I found my dream dress and veil! She only shows you gowns within your desired budget and doesn’t try to upsell you on anything. It’s all about the bride and looking beautiful and FEELING beautiful on your big day. I never went to Boston becuase I never had to! I’m so glad I went to my neighborhood store. What an incredible selection of dresses! I can’t wait to go for my first fitting and I can’t wait to share pictures of our big day :)

I'd been feeling discouraged going into my appointment at Chryssie's. At that point, I'd been to a few other salons, but only one where the consultant actually paid attention and was zeroing in on what I wanted. Unfortunately, I simply wasn't finding THE dress within their selection. Other salons had had horrendous customer service - consultants disappearing during my appointment to eat pizza, leaving me out for lengths of time in dresses I knew I was ready to take off, focusing more on a simultaneous appointment with a group of bridesmaids, and really not caring what I was looking for. I knew Chryssie's carried some designers I liked and had a couple of dresses I was interested in trying on, so I tried to shake off the previous experiences going in. Joanna gave me her full attention the entire time. She had me try on a few different dresses to see for herself, and quickly picked up on what I was going for. I knew she was really listening to me, and she definitely knows what she's doing. When I found the gown, she brought out champagne for me and my mom. I'd been concerned I wasn't going to have that special feeling or experience with a dress, and Joanna was instrumental in making it happen for me. I couldn't be happier saying yes to the dress at Chryssie's!

Joanna was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. Joanna asked all the right questions, and she found me my dream dress. The dress she picked for me was not a dress I would have chosen for my self initially seeing it on the rack, which is why it is so important to work with an expert because Joanna knew that this dress would really work for me. I am so happy with how yesterday went and will recommend Chryssie's to all my bride friends!

I had an appointment made thinking it was going to be just a fun trip where I can try on more dresses to figure out with I like. Needless to say Joanna and Kayla helped me find the one!! Joanna was so so nice and looking at me knew exactly what styles to pull . This appointment was everything I wanted it to be when finding the perfect dress. Thank you!!!

Came here yesterday with no idea what I was looking for in a wedding dress (but hoping to find something that day), and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Joanna was so helpful, knowledgeable, honest and professional (and funny) which made everything flow very smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised that I ended up finding the perfect dress, which I wouldn’t have been able to do without Joanna.
