There are many reception halls in the Mission/McAllen area, but choosing the Club at Cimarron was by far our best option.

l the planning needs (cake, flowers, musical arrangement, catering, beverages, even decoration). Erica did a fantastic job with everything, and was a great help in our planning and our sanity, considering my husband and I lived in Houston while we were planning the wedding.
One of the best things about having an event at Cimarron is the great food. They have an extensive menu from which to choose from and every meal I tried was just exquisite. It has been a month since our wedding and our friends and family are still telling us how delicious dinner was.
Overall, we had a great experience during the planning stage and during the wedding.

eption room if you want, have a gorgeous lake & golf course outside area for photography or ceremony area, provide a cash bar if you want limited alcoholic beverages, & they have a full staff throughout the night with coffee & tea & water. No clean-up & hardly any setup - they take care of most everything. The women's bathroom has a beautiful big mirror with lights so the bride or whomever can change there & the photographer can take pre-ceremony portraits there without letting too many people see the wedding party (if that's something you want). If it's too hot to take portraits outside there is a nice library-styled area that can be used for photographs. The staff is very easy to work with and very gracious in accommodations. Very professional & polite. I would very much recommend this venue to anyone looking in this area for an almost-complete package.
