Kate Dowd and the Circle D Farm staff are AMAZING! Pandemic and all, our day was perfect and thank Kate and her crew for it! The outdoor ceremony venue and the indoor reception venue were perfect! The food was delicious and the day went smoothly. Kate goes above and beyond and is extremely nice. She answered every question and made things happen! HIGHLY recommend!

Kate and the staff at Circle D were fantastic! Our experience working with them was exceptional - the food was excellent, the location is a picture-perfect with beautiful fields and trees in the background, and the reception hall was perfect for accommodating our guests - even with social distancing measures in place. Kate helped bring our vision to life - the theme, the decor, the order of events, the food and drink choices, and more. If you want great customer service and a wonderful experience, then you should definitely consider Circle D Farm!

We had our father's 80th birthday party here and it was wonderful. Kate, the event planner, was an absolute gem helping us through the planning stage. The food we had (crab cakes and roast beef) was terrific, the room we used was perfect size for our gathering. We wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Circle D for making this event memorable!

We decided to look at Circle D originally for a sentimental value since my wife and I have lived around the area and been to Circle D for other events in the past. We had already looked at another venue and even put down a deposit, however when we went to meet with Kate and my wife saw the ceremony location her eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas and I knew we were changing locations. The setting is absolutely stunning year round, set on sprawling acres of Howard County farm land, nestled among beautiful residences there isn't really a bad view from anywhere. Couples have their choice for an outdoor ceremony location with a gazebo or pergola, and if there is inclement weather they automatically have a "Plan B" ready to go indoors if necessary. Clean and well maintained the grounds offer so many fantastic options for your wedding photography, and your guests will enjoy the rural setting. For reception options Circle D provides so many options that can accommodate a variety of needs. If you are looking for a smaller more intimate event the bar/lounge area is perfect, or you can do what we did and use that area for your cocktail time between the ceremony and reception. Upstairs the reception hall is one gigantic blank slate where any and all your design ideas can come into place. Kate and her team take care of majority of the setup but also allows ample time for wedding parties to come in and decorate. We had approximately 115 guests in total for our reception and nobody felt cramped or crowded and we had plenty of space to accommodate our buffet line, DJ setup, and Photo Booth area. The outdoor wrap around balcony provides a beautiful area for guests to step outside and take a break and once again enjoy the beautiful scenery that Western Howard County has to offer. The food at Circle D is fantastic. The catering is done in house so that is one less thing that brides and grooms have to worry about. The menu options that Kate provides is pretty all encompassing of the standard reception style food however they are open to changing and adding whatever type of food/apps you can imagine. Again the possibilities are endless. We received many compliments on the food and not a single complaint from any of our guests. ** Also, Kate makes sure that the bride and groom sit and eat during the reception. I know this might seem like such a little thing but we heard from so many people how they never got a chance to eat at their wedding, but Kate makes sure that you are served first and even "keeps watch" to make sure you aren't disturbed for a few minutes. Lastly, I want to talk about Kate. Words cannot describe how incredible it was to work with such a caring and professional vendor. From our initial meeting Kate treated us not like another client, but like a friend or a family member. Deciding not to use a wedding planner, Kate was a critical part of our wedding going off without a hitch. She answered so many questions and provided so much advise and guidance for months leading up to our wedding. She was always available by phone, text, or e-mail to answer any mundane questions or discuss details no matter how small. The day of our wedding Kate stayed on top of our timeline and schedule and worked hand-in-hand with our officiant and DJ to make sure we stayed on time. Not once during the whole day did I feel rushed and in the end it was a perfect day. We cannot recommend Circle D enough. Brides and Grooms will not be disappointed.

We absolutely enjoyed having our wedding ceremony and reception at Circle D Farm. The location was perfect for us. When we went for our first look we knew right away this was where we wanted to have our wedding. The outdoor ceremony is so perfect, with your choice of a trellis or gazebo. We chose the trellis but either spot comes with gorgeous tree lines and rolling fields in the back ground. We got married in early September and the greenery was so lovely in our photos. The banquet area was amazing! The banquet area is on the second floor with large windows, a wrap around balcony and fireplace makes the room feel so comfortable. We had about 125+ guests and there was plenty of room for tables, mingling and dancing. There is also a downstairs lobby available that is very nice for gathering guest before the ceremony. The catering is done in house. We served a vegetarian meal and everything was amazing! Kate helped us plan our menu and bar packaged and kept us within our tight budget. Our wedding day was such a blur of love and excitement it was Kate Dowd who kept everything moving so smoothly. She kept my groom and I happy and comfortable while we anxiously waited for the ceremony to start, played director keeping our wild groomsmen in line and was even there to give cues to us for when to start our march. Kate went above and beyond our expectations as an event planner. She really took the guess work out of planning our wedding, always happy to make a suggestion but more than willing to accommodate your dreams and ideas. The moment we arrived at Circle D for the first time I knew that Circle D was the perfect venue for our wedding. Kate was amazing from the start- she offered suggestions, was always flexible, friendly, funny and made a stressful event with tons of planning run smoothly. She was very accommodating and let us come to the venue to see the banquet room a few times throughout our planning. She took the time to sit with us to discuss our options and was always prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. Many guest said how great the food was and how it was the best they have had at a wedding and one of their favorite weddings.Even the Circle D mascot (Willie) made everyone feel right at home. I wouldn't change anything it was Perfect! Thank you Circle D

I recently held my wedding at Circle D Farm. A friends husband found them on the internet and recommended we check it out. At first look we fell in love with the banquet hall and the outdoor ceremony site. And, the venue was affordable! Kate was awesome from the first meeting all the way through the process and after the wedding. She was very helpful when planning specific details and trying to get the most for your money. The set up, rehearsal, wedding, and reception went very smoothly. They are not playing with the time frames though. As soon as the last song finished staff was tearing down the room. It helped with getting things packed up quickly but was surprising as I did not expect it. Still a great experience and venue.

Circle D Farm was a beautiful place to have my wedding and it was only matched by Kate Dowd's amazing service. She made herself available for questions throughout the process and was helpful in the coordination of all the vendors, set-up, and the actual reception. Everything ran smoothly and I couldn't be happier.

My husband and I quickly decided upon Circle D Farm after meeting with Kate and touring their beautiful grounds and facility. Throughout the process, Kate was a true partner. She even joined in the fun when my wedding planner and bridal party joined me for decoration planning. Kate was more than accommodating of every request we made. Our guests, especially our international guests, were WOW'd by the food. Everyone appreciated the convenience of having the ceremony and reception in the same place. Kate personally ensured that my husband and I sat down to enjoy our meals. Should we ever renew our vows or have an anniversary event, we'll definitely have it at Circle D!

I can not rave about Circle D Farm and the Dowd Family enough. The venue is beautiful, our wedding went off without a hitch and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. For the money, you get much more than expected! We were even met with fruit anx drinks the morning of the wedding. They helped us clean up what we wanted to take home and were polite and prompt with all services! I would recommend them to anyone because they are so flexible to fit your needs!

We are so thankful that we chose Circle D Farm for our wedding ceremony! Everything from the coordination to the clean up was wonderful! The staff was so professional and Kate, the event planner, always went above and beyond to assist in any way possible!

We had our wedding reception at Circle D. It was a great experience, and my mom has already recommended the site to several others. The cost was much more reasonable than other sites in the area. There were many options to personalize the day, from the menu, to the table linens, to being able to provide our own decor. The guests loved the food, and the cake we had from their staff baker (an option not a requirement) was both beautiful and delicious. It was such a relief to have Kate, the event coordinator, handling the details of the vendors and the guests arrival.

Circle D Farm was the perfect place for our wedding! They were so affordable and considerate when it came to optional add on services. Kate was incredibly sweet and responsive when it came to any questions or concerns. Beautiful outdoor space and spacious neutral banquet hall. Perfect for our casual-country-elegant theme!

I am very please with my overall experience with Circle D Farm. They were very helpful ad easy to work with. They even let you borrow left over decorations that brides have left, which is very nice. The food is very good, the chicken was really dry, but everything else was great. My one complaint - they completely tear down your wedding the second the clock strikes 11:00. kind of a bummer.

Kate was wonderful to work throughout the entire process. The cost of everything was very reasonable - the most affordable we could find in the area. Kate was flexible with changes/modifications and just wanted us to be happy. We were able to set up the day before and had free range to decorate as we wanted. Everything was perfect! Thanks!

Working with the event coordinator at Circle D was very easy, and she was always willing to help or answer any questions that I had (which was A LOT). The food was good, not great, but guests told me they enjoyed their meals so maybe it was just me being picky :-P Our only complaint was that the bartenders didn't tell guests that the only liquor that they didn't have to pay for was Jim Beam, so many people ended up paying for drinks that didn't have to. We also had extra Jim Beam left over because of this, so it felt like a little bit of a waste. All in all, however, Circle D was a great experience!! We were married on site, and it was so perfect! I would definitely recommend Circle D to others looking for a semi casual, outdoor ceremony.

Circle D is BEAUTIFUL. Not to mention, their staff is friendly, accommodating and helpful (Kate in particular). We received several compliments on this vendor!

This was one of the wedding facilities I looked at. the location was pretty, the upstairs room was amazing, but for our small wedding, the price, though reasonable, didn't fit within our budget. I'd recommend them though.

We were married outdoors on a farm overlooking 160 acres of green rolling hills. Wonderful backdrop for pictures including crops, barrels of hay and fencing. Absolutely beautiful -- couldn't have planned a better ceremony and reception. Reception hall was at same location, vaulted ceilings, wrap around balcony, dozens of windows -- absolutely wonderful staff and coordinator - very highly recommended.....a must see!!!;Closest hotel is Turf Valley... we chose to use Staybridge Suites off Route 100 -- very nice.

It was amazing - it is a family owned business and they treated you like you were a person - not just another couple getting married. We got to go and decorate the day before ourselves - so instead of walking in and not knowing what it was going to look like decorated - we knew we could see it and it was wonderful! The possibilties are endless.
