Citadel Houston - Classic & Contemporary Weddings

We had our 400-person wedding at the Citadel on October 29th, and it was the day of our dreams! We have been planning our wedding for just under a year. We loved that the citadel was all-inclusive (bar, meals, venue, ceremony space... the package we had come with valet services and complimentary uplighting and more). Our planner raved about how responsive everyone was at the Citadel. In meetings prior to the ceremony, they were very accommodating and stated just what the possibilities were. The possibilities seem limited only by our budget. lol! Norma and Emma were GEMS! I mostly worked with Norma, and she is 1st class!! She even helped me print out my vows right before the ceremony. My guests enjoyed themselves, they loved the venue as much as we did, and the wait staff was very accommodating and nice. They got those 400 people moving to the ballroom once the ceremony was over. I loved that they didn't have to wait to transition. Everything was seamless, and the employees worked like well-oiled machines. The venue's beauty had me in awe every time I walked in! It is a site to behold! The crisp white walls and floors were EVERYTHING. It didn't take much "dressing up" because the venue is stunning all by itself! I can't say enough about how pleased I was with this venue and the team! It all felt magical! It was a little pricey, but it was worth every penny. Also, we used their preferred vendor for decor and got some great perks. The Perfect Touch really was the perfect touch. The staircase to the room layout, everything was great! Catering: The food was AMAZING! They got 400 people fed, buffet style in just under an hour. Everyone was full and the food was hot. We opted for a private dinner which they had set up for us in the grooms suite. I loved that we could take back ways to get to dinner so we didn't have to pass through the ballroom before our grand entrance. 1,000/10... would recommend The Citadel for your special event!

I was part of the wedding party of a couple who had their wedding at Citadel. The venue was nice, but they run out of food before they got to the wedding party. They didn’t let the father of the bride do his speech!! The reception was so cold like they put it on full blast. Some of our elderly relatives had to leave.

To say our experience with Citadel for our wedding was a tad stressful would be an understatement. We first booked the venue for our Sept 2020 wedding in March with the then manager, Gabrielle. She was a pleasure to work with and we loved the venue. Our wedding date had already been pushed once because of the pandemic, so we were truly happy to still end up with a beautiful venue. We had our menu tasting with her and the chef at the Citadel Restaurant and we loveddd the food! The Citadel wedding packages include linens with Perfect Touch, and the options available depend on your package. We weren't too happy with Perfect Touch because the vendor seemed clueless about the package we bought and was showing us limited linen options when we came in for our appointment, even though we asked her why we couldn't have access to more linens. Fortunately, when we spoke to Gabrielle about it later, she handled it gracefully and very professionally. Then a few months later when I was coming in to give the final installment payment, we found out Gabrielle had left and the new manager Amber had taken over. This was when the stress started because she was all over the place and whenever I spoke to her, kept confusing us with some other Indian couples. I knew she was new and probably had a lot to catch up on, but to not at least glance thru the file of a client, before they arrive for a scheduled appointment was pretty worrisome. And then later one when she sent our final invoice, it was once again some other Indian couples invoice. This was not instilling confidence in the least. And then a week before the wedding we find out Amber is out sick and now Lisa will be the temporary manager. Lisa did a decent job in the short time. The actual wedding reception went off pretty well and everyone loved the huge, pristine venue. And almost everyone told us they enjoyed the entire menu. The chef is truly talented! The issues came with the supply of the food. The appetizers ran out before the cocktail hour even finished. This was pretty disappointing to find out. And then, even worse, was to find out the wait staff were taking away untouched entrees from the seats of our immediate family while they were giving their speeches! The mother of the groom never even got to enjoy her food as the wait staff took away her plate while she was giving her speech - even though the guest at their table told the staff that she hasn't eaten it yet and to leave it. They said that they will warm it up and bring it back, but despite her asking the staff if they could bring her a plate, they never brought her back any food! While the venue is beautiful and well kept, especially for an evening event when the outdoor roof lighting really looks stunning, they need to be on top of their game for food supply and better wait staff.

I was really overwhelmed when I started planning my wedding but when COVID hit I was a wreck. I felt like I was a total bridezilla and that I wouldn’t be able to celebrate with my family like I truly wanted to. I am grateful for how helpful, flexible and patient Rebecca and Kellsie were with me through everything. When my vendors fell through they gave me new recommendations, when I couldn’t host my wedding (originally scheduled in early May) they helped me move it to the fall, and when my wedding day arrived everything was smooth and perfect. I felt like I panicked for nothing because they had everything under control and were totally calm. I would recommend Citadel to anyone who is looking for peace of mind on their wedding day.

Our wedding was during COVID. Of course we had to make some arrangements because of everything going on, BUT Citadel was very accommodating. The were flexible given the circumstances and were always available if we needed to talk. It was a very stressful time and without them guiding us I don't think we would have made it. Rebecca is SO NICE! She replied to our emails promptly and was easy to set up phone calls with. We can't thank Citadel enough for turning a stressful time into an easy and stress free event.

With all that is happening in this current COVID environment, I wanted to highlight how awesome Citadel has been to me and my family. They have been incredibly professional, positive and have gone above and beyond to make this process smooth and stress-free. I couldn't imagine having my wedding during this COVID situation without the help and expertise of the Citadel staff. They guided me throughout the process and gave me excellent advise on all wedding related issues I was facing. My family and I cannot thank them enough for their support and help during these times. Thank you Citadel Staff!

Citadel is what you've been looking for. Attentive staff, great food and a beautiful venue for your special day. All of the staff was great working with us prior to our wedding date. They made everything really easy and stress-free. Luckily we got in right before COVID started, but there was still plenty of room if you are concerned about social distancing. The suites are stunning and we got some great photos with all of my bridesmaids as we got ready. I highly recommend them.

The Citadel team and venue are fantastic! Words can’t express me and my husband’s gratitude for their help throughout the whole wedding from start to finish. The team was amazing and so, so accommodating. They always went the extra mile to provide me tons of insight and feedback - especially since me and my husband are so indecisive. Our guests loved all the food from the appetizers to the plated dinner, as well as the late night snacks. We are so glad when we toured and checked it out. From the actual venue site which is exquisitely elegant, stylish and sophisticated in EVERY aspect - to their many amenities. We will definitely recommend Citadel to all our friends and family.

This venue is AMAZING! I cannot say enough kind words for the staff. Rebecca is so dependable, I didn't have to stress over a single detail. The large rooms are great for bigger guests counts (like mine) and there's plenty of space for guests to mingle. Not only were the staff and atmosphere great but the food was EXCEPTIONAL. The chef is one of the best out there. You won't be mad you booked your wedding at Citadel.

This venue is beautiful! The staff is attentive, helpful and on top of everything. The massive ballroom is great for a wedding of any size. The furnishings are elegant and timeless. The chandeliers are stunning and go perfect with the marble floors and custom hand carved wooden doors. If you are wanting to get married in Houston, make sure that you check Citadel out! You won't regret it.

You know when you walk into something that just takes your breath away - that is Citadel!! It is stunning - no pictures can do it justice - you have to go for yourself and take a tour ....and its not in your face type of stunning either ---its classically understated and elegant and just exudes luxury without being loud...its the perfect mix of elegance and beauty ...but however you want to describe it, it really leaves a great first impression on everyone who walks in there...i have been receiving so many compliments about how stunning our wedding was! Best part is that they have an amazing venue management team there with Rebecca leading the way and that made our evening so smooth and stress-free knowing that every little detail was taken care of in advance. The food is the best banquet food I have ever had! Getting rave reviews on the food as well. If I could give more than 5-stars to Citadel staff - I would! Call them - You would love having your wedding there!

We booked the Citadel for our wedding and could not have asked for a better place both in food and breath taking photos. Our wedding was on Superbowl Sunday, and I cannot thank everyone that worked the event enough. The venue is beautiful and spacious. We loved that there was 2 chapels and bathrooms on either end of the venue! My husband was the first in his family to not have the traditional restaurant reception following a church ceremony, and honestly we were nervous. The Citadel and staff, however, made it seamless and all of our guests had a great time. Our guests loved the food! Rebecca was a pleasure to work with and had suggestions every time I called in a panic and definitely kept me calm. She was extremely helpful, especially during the last week. Our few complaints were we were a little bummed out that our cake wasn't cut and packed for us following the event (3 layers of cake; not just the top layer), the mics provided by the venue did not work properly, and that the hor dourves did not make it to the chapel where we were taking photos.

If you want a complete WOW wedding without any stress or worry, then Citadel is the place for you! My mom and I toured so many venues in Houston and it was by far the most stunning venue we toured. With their white washed marble floors, and these doors that are just grand and gorgeous to unique touches like the indoor water wall, this venue has it all! Because I work all the time, I really appreciated the Citadel staff guiding me along the way and taking care of a few things for me that was above and beyond. I really thank them for it! Rebecca is a sweetheart! You must check the venue out - We had 175 guests and everything fit so comfortably there - our pictures have come out stunning! ***** stars for sure!

Grand, impeccable, understated luxury, beautiful, stunning, elegant in so many ways, wow - some of the first few impressions that you have when you visit the citadel even for a tour. Imagine what your guests feel when they actually see it all decked up and ready to party! It is one of a kind and it is Stunning in every way! Service and food match its beauty. Best food at any wedding that I have ever had (and I have been to many) - In fact, one of the best meals I have had period. (You can try out the chef's cooking at their sister restaurant as well - 2840 Cafe at Dukessa - its incredible! Rebecca was amazing from the very beginning - Polite and sweet and accommodating but also very knowledgeable. Definitely choose Citadel if it is in your price range. You will be very happy!

A luxurious castle with an award-winning chef and impeccable service - Right in the heart of the city! Thats what Citadel is. Gorgeous, elegant and just beautiful with a great staff who takes care of everything for you and makes your day really special. We are very grateful for what Sara and her staff did for us and for all the advice along the way and for going above and beyond on the wedding day to make it smooth and super fun for all of our guests, our families and for us. John and I could not have asked for a more perfect day! Our guests were raving about the food and the service and they still are almost a month after the wedding. We appreciate you all - thank you for a wonderful event!

Finally a venue that matched and even surpassed my dream, elegant wedding vision!! No venue can be more luxurious or more elegant or more beautiful than the Citadel. I haven’t even started talking about the awesome staff that works there or the incredible chef they have. Ladies (and gentleman) this the place to get married and have the time of your life - stress free and smooth! Rebecca and Sara were so awesome to deal with from the very very beginning and the food was just as good or even better on the wedding night as the tasting. Chef really did a great job!! The way the venue is designed makes it so easy to have a super smooth event with no hiccups. I loved the entire process and couldn’t have asked for a better day. Citadel staff deserves 5 stars for making it so very special for us. Gracias!!

We were looking for an elegant and beautiful venue and we found it at The Citadel! But even better we found excellent service AND one of the best dinners we had ever had! We really really lucked out by choosing the Citadel. Our parents were a little wary about a stand-alone venue but once they started interacting with the Citadel staff and went for the tasting, they were super happy with our choice. After the wedding, we all got so many wonderful compliments on the how fun the wedding was, and how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was too! We couldnt be happier - We wholeheartedly refer Citadel to all the brides and grooms looking for a wedding venue! You will not be disappointed! ***** Five stars!

If you haven’t seen The Citadel, you are missing out! It is the most gorgeous venue in Houston. It has these beautiful tall tall wooden doors, Marble throughout and amazing amount of details on this ceilings. And def not to miss their beautiful outdoor courtyards and gardens. It’s a destination venue right in the city! Most imp, the staff at Citadel is the BEST! Sara and her team really helped us out at every step of the way and we couldn’t have been happier with the final result. Our wedding day was beautiful, stress-free and so much fun. And lastly, let me say that the food was delicious! I can’t tell you how many compliments we have received on the food and the venue. It was beyond our expectations! I would recommend Citadel over any other venue in town (and believe me we saw so many)!! Love love love Citadel!

The BEST relatively unknown venue in Houston. When I decided to get married here none of my friends knew about the space. They were so excited to see the pictures though. But I have to tell you they were absolutely blown away when they actually saw the venue. It is absolutely stunning! There is so much natural light coming through the tall windows and doors throughout that every single picture of our ceremony looked incredible. Owners must have impeccable taste because every single detail and furnishings in the venue are extraordinarily beautiful. And guess what - their food and service match the venue!! They have an incredible chef who has won so many awards. Citadel team was amazing and responsive and helpful. Sara, the owner, couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. We loved our entire experience at Citadel. It was a beautiful evening! 5 star everything.

Everything was really perfect! The place is beautiful and immaculately decorated, so you really don’t have to do much decor. It’s really hard to put in words how wonderful the venue and the staff is. We toured many venues and we just kept going back to the Citadel because Sara was just so wonderful to talk to, she was positive and professional, gave great advice and we felt super confident that she would make our day stress-free. And we were right! Our day was incredible! The Citadel staff took care of all our guests like family, the food was as delicious as at our tasting, and service was outstanding. We loved it all! Thank you Sara and Rebecca for making it such a special day. We keep recommending you all and Citadel all the time! :-)

This venue is gorgeous! It is so spacious and has room for everything you could ever want for a large-scale event! The food was outstanding and my husband and I had a blast dancing the night away!

The Citadel made my wedding planning process so easy. The catering and bar service is all done in-house, and the food is delicious. I worked with Sara and she helped set us up with our decor/flower vendor and gave us recommendations for everything from our wedding cake to photographer. Not to mention, the venue itself is stunning. There isn't a corner of the Citadel that isn't clean, polished, and well designed. Citadel is the perfect venue if you would like to have a truly luxurious wedding.

Perfect Venue for a perfect day! Sarah and her staff did everything possiable to wow my guest! It was worth every penny! We felt like a King and Queen! The food was amazing and the grounds are kept amazing! Spend the extra money to rent the entire estate! It’s worth it! Trust Me!!!

My husband and I just got married at The Citadel. The venue is absolutely stunning - PERFECT spots eveywhere for pictures. The venue made the process so easy as they offer so many amenities in-house including tables, chivari chairs, linens, Valet, and most importantly food and bar. They have the best Chef in-house and he did an amazing job at our wedding. Our food is something our guests are still raving about a couple weeks after! I got married on a Friday and it was bit cheaper than Saturday. Citadel was so worth every penny I spent on the wedding. My family and I are so thankful to Sara and her staff for making our dream wedding come true. We will always be referring Citadel to everyone we know! Happiest day ever!

I had my wedding at Citadel this past weekend and everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we toured the venue to the time we left the venue after our wedding we have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Sara and Savanna were my venue directors and they made sure I had everything I needed and more. They are so professional and great at their job. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. The naturally beautifully lit venue sells itself and makes an unforgettable impression on your guests. Which is truely what you want!! I got a glimpse of my pictures and they look incredible - can’t wait to get the final album! There is no better venue for your big day as the Citadel!

The venue is absolutely beautiful but the customer service was unbelievable. Sara and her team helped answer every question and walk us through every detail with professionalism and always smiling. They far exceeded all my expectations and I have never been so (happily) surprised at the service that was above and beyond what I had hoped for. AND the food was out of this world. I didnt want to get married in a cookie-cutter banquet hall or where my friends had gotten married - Citadel was unique and relatively new and We could not have been more pleased with Citadel! My fiancé and I had the best time and our guests were treated like VIPs - they all left the wedding raving about the food, service and the fun atmosphere. We are still hearing compliments about what an awesome one-of-a-kind venue we selected. We will cherish these memories forever! Important Side note: because they have such beautiful tall doors and windows throughout their chapel room and the main ballroom, our pictures came out AWESOME!! Must check them out!

Citadel is an absolutely beautiful place and the staff are universally some of the most helpful and generous people we have ever encountered. Besides the stunning venue, they even do the Food in-house and Food was awesome! The kitchen was very accommodating to our veggie and gluten free guests. Even the valet was so helpful - they help us pack up and put things in our car. The whole experience from start to finish was professional, on-point and stress free. It’s important to be able to enjoy your biggest without having to worry about little details and the Citadel staff helped us do that. We are thrilled with our wedding at Citadel and would highly recommend it.

I mean every word in this review sincerely. Citadel and it’s team, Rebecca, Savanna and Sara are the best in this business. It does not get better. I was a bride who has a stressful full time job and very little time to plan the wedding of my dreams. As a professional, I wanted to work with professionals, someone who loved their work and had a lot of experience in planning Weddings - Citadel team had all that! My fiancé and I knew we wanted a venue with character and class - something unique and memorable. Finding that venue in Citadel combined with their service and staff was my dream come true. We visited many venues and no other venue came even close to Citadel in its beauty and Charm and staff. And to make it a trifecta, their in-House culinary team is fantastic. Food was absolutely delicious! I am grateful that I found Citadel and for the staff for making my wedding the most wonderful day of my life.

Citadel was absolutely wonderful! I had 250 guests and the room looked spacious and beautiful with lots of room to dance and set up buffet and a long head table. I didn’t need to bring in too much decor as the place so naturally beautiful and elegant. It is great to use a stand alone venue with such an experienced culinary team with in-house kitchen - the food was FANTASTIC! My family and guests are still raving about it. And I didn’t have to rent any of the glasses, China or silver. They had it all! Rebecca was awesome in helping me with my vendors and making sure everything went smoothly. Throughout the night the waitstaff really took care of us, bringing us food in our Bridal suites and then to our table so we could just relax and enjoy. Everything was incredible. Thank you Citadel staff for making my dream wedding come true!

Everything at Citadel is amazing! Working with their staff for the planning stages was so easy. The food was incredible and the Venue is stunning but also so elegant and sophisticated. It offers so many picture oppotunitues. We did our Ceremony outdoors in their patio and it was gorgeous but we had a rain plan because our plan b was to do it in their indoor chapel area which is also beautiful. We did our cocktails in the indoor Ceremony area. Our planning process was so easy and fun and everything went so smoothly on the day of. We were very pleased with everything at Citadel. Would highly recommend your venue!

Citadel was our first tour and while we did visit other venues none of them compares to the Citadel. As we saw other venues, we kept saying, this doesn't compare to Citadel. From the location (only 8 miles from our church in Downtown) to the elegance of the venue Itself, it was love at first sight. And frankly, the price was pretty good too. It's a really really good value in town. All the staff was so friendly and felt like family! Food was awesome. Guests had so many compliments for us. We loved it all. Thank you Citadel for making our day soooo special!

We recently got married at citadel. All I can say is Wow! Run, don't walk, to tour this venue and book your date. This five star, upscale venue is gorgeous and has a separate ceremony room. All spaces are designed so well and work well with any size wedding you are planning. We did our cocktail hour outside on their beautiful patio as the sun set behind it. It was just breathtaking. The staff was professional and friendly. Food was amazing and guests are still raving about it three month later. They were very flexible and customized our menus and the presentation of he food was really nice. I recommend the Citadel highly!

We had our ceremony and reception here a month ago and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is stunning, particularly inside, with beautiful architecture and furnishings. The ballroom has beautiful large windows and we were lucky to have a beautiful fall day in Houston so we did our cocktail hour outside in their lovely patio with fountain and a really awesome lit ruins wall that looked great in picture. The staff is amazing and they were prompt in emailing and flexible. They made sure everything on the day of went smoothly with no hiccups. The food was absolutely delicious. Even the pricing is very reasonable for what you are getting! It's the trifecta of stunning venue, and awesome food and service. Must Tour Venue!

Citadel is the prettiest, most elegant venue with first-class finishes! It's literally like being in a beautiful castle with marble floors and grand doors everywhere. Our first impression of the venue from walking in to the main gate to the hospitality we received from the owner and the staff was incredible. The owner happened to be at the venue when we toured and she was so genuine and polite and made us feel completly at ease. Rebecca, the Venue Director, was super sweet and I could instantly envision having the wedding of my dreams here. And I Did!!! Everyone can see that the venue is just stunning but their hospitality and their staff is really the greatest asset they have. Professional, going above and beyond what is expected, they made my day and our family's day stress free so we could enjoy every single minute of the day! We are getting so many compliments from our guests about the food. It was gourmet quality and awesome presentation on the buffet as well. I have already sent my best girlfriend to Citadel for her wedding and she has had an amazing experience as well. I will recommend Citadel to anyone who wants a memorable, stress free, elegant experience. Thank you Citadel staff!

Warning: This place is trying to bury the real reviews and has changed their ID to Sita on other review sites (a coffee roaster with a fake website and identifiers). Here's a real review of this venue: Citadel and your owners - you are a horrible, deceitful, empty place - void of any sense of humanity or respect for people. This PLACE and its OWNERS DISGUST me. The number one complaint that my husband and I have is that the owner, Sarah, and her husband are dishonest and manipulative people to the core. They made our entire experience so painful and traumatic that it took me this long to write the review. I could not express enough how much stress they put on us during the process and even on the day of our wedding. They did not let up their abuse and attacks - not even in the final hour (read on). Booking the Citadel was the absolute WORST decision we made. 1)Firstly, it looks like a fake castle from a Super Mario Bros. video game.The exterior is as fake and cheap as its owners.I hated it the first time I saw it, and I hate it more today. 2)The owner, Sarah, changed the price of the venue rental fee MULTIPLE times. Even up until 6 days before the wedding, she was still adding fees to the venue cost. Sarah threatened to CANCEL the wedding more times than I can count. 3) We wanted to do a food tasting at Citadel before deciding if we wanted them do our food service.Sarah said food tastings were only for people who already paid for food service.How can you expect that we book food for 400 guests without trying it first (btw, we were the first big wedding that would be using their chef and we had zero references we could ask)? She was pissy about it, but eventually let us do a tasting-at which the food came out cold, was defrosted, and gave us diarrhea. 4)We met with Sarah and her coordinator, Jenna (who quit the DAY after our WD), to finalize costs, since we felt we were getting extorted and just wanted to know the bottom line price(this is about two months before the wedding, invites were already sent).The disrespect she showed my parents during this meeting made me feel my pulse in my mouth. Sarah was nothing short of a nasty, lying, emotional wreck that day.I told her that I could not accept the disrespect that she was showing us and that I didn't even care if we canceled the wedding because this was not what a wedding is about.We came close to walking out and cancelling the wedding - the only thing that saved Sarah was her coordinator Jenna. Sarah tried to add $2500 fees to use the rig points on the ceiling 6d before the wedding - NO. 8) They LOCKED MY MOTHER INSIDE THE VENUE! They shut the door and locked it!My father was just outside the door while my mom was taking one more look around to ensure we had taken everything we brought (she knew we would never see any personal items again if we left them there);when my father saw this, he began banging on the door.Finally, a worker emerged and guided my mother through a back way to get out of the building.ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE! I cannot believe people and businesses like this exist.Don't give Citadel the chance to interfere with your wedding or the most special moments of your life. There are many other places to have an event that will make you feel welcome and happy as the days approach.Citadel is a concrete box owned by people with concrete hearts; nothing and no one can change that.You can only choose to avoid them and their childish, demoralizing antics.

The Citadel is amazing!! From the minute we walked through the gorgeous tall doors for the tour to leaving the night of our wedding, the staff was fantastic- accommodating, helpful and friendly. The wedding ran beautifully and I never really worried about the whole thing as I had confidence in Rebecca to Make sure everything was just perfect. And it was! We got ready in their gorgeous bridal suite - it was so fun! Food was amazing - even Better than the tasting. Everyone loved it! Overall I would recommend Citadel to anyone!

What a wonderful wonderful experience! THe staff was responsive, friendly and efficient. The food was so delicioius and the service was like white glove service. I love the Citadel. I wish I could host another event there again!! Our wedding received so many compliments from guests. We are beyond thrilled. Thank you Citadel - this the perfect place to host a wedding.

Citadel is just beautiful! I fell in love with it the first time we toured it. Rebecca showed us around and she was fantastic. She helped us through the entire process as we had a short engagement. Their preferred Vendors were great to work with. We got married at Holy Rosary downtown and it was perfect location for us - it only took us 8 minutes to get to the Citadel. Our guests loved it. The food was unbelievably good. We got a lot of compliments on the food! Service was great too and Citadel staff was incredible. Check this venue out - it is so exclusive. I cannot be more thrilled about how my special my wedding day was at Citadel! Venue of course is gorgeous with Marble floors and those grand high ceilings and those beautiful doors that really make the ballroom so warm. The staff is extremely polite and helpful and they worked so hard to make everything run smoothly. Rebecca was fantastic and super efficient! My family and I loved our experience at the Citadel and we received wondeful feedback about food and service and of course the venue from our guests. Thank you Citadel for everything.

Love love love the Citadel! From the minute I saw the pictures on the knot to the tour to our event, everything had been amazing ! Staff is so polite and helpful. Rebecca was so pleasant to me and my family through the entire process. I can't thank her enough for making it such a memorable experience for us. Food was really good - not your typical banquet food. I have receive such good comments on the food and of course the venue is stunning. Thanks again. I would definitely recommend Citadel to all my friends getting married!

Thank you Citadel staff for making my wedding day so so special! We had a big fat Indian wedding with multipla events at Citadel and each and every one of them went flawlessly! Best part was the food - we had traditional South Asian food for all our three events and EVERY single day it was just Fantastic. Citadel has the best in-house south Asian chef in Houston! Of course the venue is so stunning - it speaks for itself. We had family come from all over the world and they were all so impressed by the venue, service and food. Rebecca and the other ladies helping her took excellent care of us through the 3 days of festivities and my family and I cannot thank them enough for making us feel so comfortable and relaxed. This venue is a class above all and so is the food! Citadel will surely become the venue of choice of high end weddings. Thanks again for everything!

Ok first off it's the most elegant venue in town!! The furnishings are incredible. It has 30 ft indoor water wall in the foyer! There are these grand doors everywhere! When my guests arrived they were just in awe of the place. And then the service and the food- amazing! Right from us touring the place to our wedding, the staff at the Citadel has been incredible, going above and beyond to make us feel special. It was the most magical night for us. We has 175 guests and we did ceremony in their enclave room and cocktail hour outside on their gorgeous outdoor patio. Food was amazing too. Really couldn't have asked for anything else. You guys did a great job. Thanks so much! I will be sure to spread the word about you guys!

Stunning venue with grand ceilings! And they have an indoor water wall which is amazing. Such a unique, elegant venue. We are getting married in downtown church and Citadel is only 10 min from our church. Perfect! Check it out - it's relatively new. Just awesome!
