My husband and I can not recommend Shannon enough to anyone that is in need of a wedding planner. if you want your dreams to come true, be stress free and have the wedding of your dreams, then shannon is your girl. Shannon is very professional, personable, caring and most of all genuine. i truly believe she cares about everyone's wedding she is involved in and does not treat you like a transaction. she truly loves what she does and this is definitely her calling. From the start shannon was so helpful to my husband and i. we had no idea what we were doing and she made it very simple for us, providing simple tasks at a time. we were overwhelmed and with her assistance it took all those feelings away. Shannon was always available via phone, text or email and had speedy responses. our wedding came out better than we ever expected and was an absolute dream. a couple weeks before my wedding many things changed and through the process shannon guided me relieving me of all the stress that came with the last minute changes. Shannon even went to the extent of fixing my seating chart for me to help us days before the wedding, she did not have to do this. she did this to be helpful. the day of was absolutely stunning. shannon also has a wide variety of anything you may need for your wedding to rent which was a huge perk when it came to decor, games and anything extra you may need. Shannon, we can not thank you enough for going above and beyond during the entire wedding planning process and our day of. you are a true rockstar and you poured your heart and soul into our wedding. From day one, I was so grateful to work with Citrus City Events. Although her services were primarily as the month-of and day-of coordinator, Shannon made sure I was on the right track throughout the entire wedding planning process. Once my venue was booked, she sent me a pre-wedding questionnaire to help me determine my vision for the wedding. In the last three months leading up to the wedding, Shannon provided worksheets and checklists to assist with the final details. It included things I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. Through emails, texts, and phone calls, she ensured I was prepared for the big day. The week of the wedding, we did have to make some adjustments due to last minute rain. Although I was stressed about it raining on my wedding day, Shannon jumped into action and secured a tent for the outdoor ceremony. As soon as I arrived on-site the day of, all of my worries went away. The setup was more beautiful than I had imagine, even with the rain. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Shannon. She handled everything from creating a timeline, confirming my vendors, setting up the venue, and even holding my train as I posed for pictures in the rain. I was able to trust Shannon’s expertise and enjoy my wedding day without worrying about what would come next. I will forever be thankful for Shannon and Citrus City Events.

My fiancé and I hired Shannon for month-of coordination and I can honestly say, it was the best wedding decision we could have made. Shannon was the epitome of organized and professional and took so much stress off our shoulders. She went above and beyond to make the wedding planning process as easy as possible and was reaching out and working with my fiancé and I months before our date. She collected contracts, created an amazing timeline, coordinated between all other vendors, basically did all the heavy lifting I was dreading doing! When it came to the day of, I can honestly say I did not have to lift a finger. Before a thought could pop into my head, I would look over and Shannon would already have it handled. The day ran so smoothly and it was the greatest gift to have someone who you could trust so completely. I cannot recommend Shannon and her team enough. She is absolutely the best and one of the kindest people you could work with.

So thankful for Shannon and her expertise! From our initial communication until the end of our special day she was an absolute gem. We planned our wedding in less time than usual and Shannon ensured it all went well. Her planning skills are top notch and she goes a live and beyond. She is so talented and focuses on every detail. Our wedding was a dream come true and we couldn’t have done it without her.

Shannon was truly amazing. She helped us through the process, especially with our final steps. She emailed us a last minute details to make sure we had everything set. She definitely eased our minds during the week leading up to the wedding. That week was a roller coaster of weather conditions. Shannon let us know on a Monday that we needed to purchase last minute fans, due to a heat wave. However, on Wednesday, it changed from fans to umbrellas, as there was now a thunderstorm for our Friday wedding. Shannon was able to get us a last minute tent for our outdoor ceremony and moved everything indoors. Although it was not our dream wedding, our wedding day turned out perfectly and cannot thank Shannon enough! She had a group chat started with all of our vendors to keep them updated with the weather and any changes as well. We would definitely recommend Shannon to everyone looking for a wedding planner!!

Shannon was the best wedding coordinator and planner I could have asked for. She was on top of things the entire process and day of. She was patient with me because I would often fall behind on emails and super efficient. The day of, her sweet personality and planning all came together and made me a very calm bride. She was able to make last minute adjustments, organize everything the way I planned, listened to me, and gave us great ideas too. Pick Shannon as your coordinator. She is awesome! If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, look no further. Shannon is the best! She was so kind, well organized, stayed on top of things, communicated with us constantly, and answered any questions we had. She is so knowledgeable of the industry and has great vendor recommendations as well. But the real icing on the cake is when our caterer didn’t show up to the wedding. In less than an hour shannon has found us a delicious caterer who was able to feed all of our guest and show up within our time frame for dinner. I know she was stressed but she made it look effortless. She made sure we enjoyed our night and she handled the rest. Our night was nothing short of magical and it’s all because of her. I would book her again in an instant! She was worth every penny & more!

We found Shannon through our wedding venue and we truly feel everything happened for a reason. She was amazing! We had her for full planning and she was the greatest help ever. A year prior to the wedding she was already making sure she had an idea of what our vision was and she made sure it happened! Every major vendor she recommended, such as florist, dj, caterer, we chose and they were amazing! Getting closer to our wedding date, I was more overwhelmed with putting final details together. Shannon is very organized and had pack lists for me to complete to make sure I was not forgetting any details! Up to a week prior to our wedding, a big storm was coming in and we were devastated giving half of our wedding was outdoors. Shannon assured us that regardless our wedding was going to be beautiful. We needed to pick a rain plan and we’re so thankful we did. She hussled to find us a tent vendor for our ceremony and for the rest of our vendors to ensure they were covered and out of any rain. Even though it only drizzled when i walked down the aisle, everything was gorgeous! The way she set up our reception was perfect! She was so helpful to my husband and I the day of making sure we were having a great time and that everything was in order. We couldn’t have done this without her. Thank you Shannon, we love you!!

Citrus City Events did an amazing job helping us with our wedding. Shannon was helpful to us in remembering many details we would have forgotten and in keeping us on schedule during our reception. She helped the wedding feel low stress and doable and made our happy day possible. I would recommend Shannon to anyone!

We found Shannon through our venue, and it was an incredible stroke of luck, because she turned out to be the best coordinator we could have asked for. From the very beginning she was professional, communicative, flexible, practical, and pleasant, keeping us informed, prepared, on track, and excited from Day 1 through the Day Of. In addition to her coordinator services, she provided us with numerous decor items. And she introduced us to almost every single vendor we used, all of whom were also great (and who all said the exact same glowing things about how great Shannon is to work with). She demonstrated an uncanny ability to remain calm in any situation, and the fates provided more than her fair share of situations for her to deal with. She delivered above and beyond her already-extremely-reasonable fee. Our wedding day went exactly as we wanted it to, and it was an incredibly special experience for us and for all our guests, and so much of that is because Shannon was the perfect partner for executing our vision. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Shannon was a dream come true. She exceeded all expectations. We had no idea where to look for a coordinator and she was bundled into our wedding venue package. I’m so glad she was. She was so organized from the get go and it set my mind at ease. As we got closer, I never felt overwhelmed because she had the experience and expertise to know where we were headed and what I needed to accomplish. A week before, the weather forecast was all rain. I was pretty upset but Shannon made sure all options were explored and that I felt confident in decisions. Day of, we felt so taken care of. She made sure we had food and drinks and that we were following schedule. Not only is Shannon incredibly organized, she has so many cute supplies you can pick to use for your wedding including lawn games! She truly makes your day feel special!! I cannot recommend her enough.

From the beginning my husband and I were clueless as to what we wanted / what our vision was. We put all our faith into Shannon and she did not disappoint one bit. Shannon went above and WAY beyond to make our day perfect and better than we would ever expect. We never thought that our big day would be as beautiful and spectacular as it was. Shannon is the perfect example of someone who could have a million things going on, but still makes you feel TOP priority. Coming from someone who reached out 1,000 times for anything and everything we needed and being as picky as we are, we seriously can not recommend her enough. Our wedding was perfect because of Shannon. If it wasn’t for her our big day wouldn’t have been as lovely. We had different plans originally, a whole venue booked, etc. We met Shannon and just knew we had to cancel everything we planned and book with her. From her skills in decor to planning, on to vendors, etc. Shannon absolutely made our wedding the BEST day ever. If we could go back and change anything, we wouldn’t because of Shannon.. 20 out of 10 recommend.

Our wedding was a huge success thanks to Shannon. From the moment I spoke with Shannon I knew we were in good hands. She was very punctual and always very responsive via text or email. She is very polite with a very positive attitude. We ran into a few bumps in the road with our venue which she had no fault in. She was able to get everything handled way in advance before our wedding so that we had options. This gave me piece of mind and brought our vision together as we dreamed. Thank you for your hard work we really appreciate. We would also like to thank her day of coordinator, Veronica who also made sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly. I also really appreciate that she was bilingual.

Working with Citrus City Event was/is hands down the best decision I made. Shannon, her AMAZING team, resources and 5-Star vendors she aligns herself with, were/are every bit of event perfection. This was such a special event for me and my family and they handled each step of the process, from planning to day of, with ease, punctuality, relatability, professionalism and most importantly to me kindness and care. They made the the whole process and experience easy for me. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They are every bit off perfection and I’m so grateful for their services!

Shannon was great to work with. I believe we had the month of package included with our venue but Shannon was there from day one. I was able to text or email her any time and she was always happy to help. Honestly, the day would have been so chaotic without her. I recommend everyone get a planner! Shannon was super easy to work with and was especially mindful about our budget and helping us stay within it. There were so many things I didn't know I needed to know but she put together an easy list and checked in every few months to see where I was at and if I needed help. Would recommend her to anyone I know who is getting married!

Shannon was heaven sent! We started working with Shannon a few weeks prior to our big day and the amount of stress taken off our plate was major just in a few short weeks. She kept us on track and organized my vendors and stayed in contact with them so they knew where to be and what time. Her knowledge and expertise was really impressive, you can tell she has been in the industry for a long time. The day of the event she was the only reason the day didn’t go haywire. She had a way of being eloquent and stern all at the same time. Nobody is going to mess with your day while Shannon is in charge (unruly bridesmaid ect). She was always in 10 places at once making every detail progress and keeping us aware of the time line which she so perfectly crafted. We rented many of her beautiful styled pieces and everything was beyond beautiful. When she says she gets you down the aisle, she literally means just that. Seems so simple but there are so many small and large factors and we couldn’t of enjoyed my day without her helping every step of the way. Thank you Shannon for being so wonderful at what you do!

We cannot say enough good things about Shannon and her team!! Our wedding was above and beyond what we had wanted/expected and that was truly due to Shannon and her patience and willingness to listen to what we were thinking - and then make it so much better! The day of our wedding went so smoothly and Shannon and Shelbie both took the time to make each of us feel special, even taking portraits of the groom the morning of as our photographers were at the bridal Airbnb! She directed the ceremony and, even with all of the different personalities amongst our family members (lol!), it went off without a hitch. As soon as we sat down for the reception, Shannon was there to check on us and to ensure we had everything we needed. Our wedding was a bit non-traditional and Shannon and Shelbie both rolled with everything so professionally and kindly and even packed everything up at the end of a very long night! We were absolutely blown away by Shannon and Shelbie from the start of the day to the finish. Shannon was absolutely amazing! She made sure everything went off without a hitch. I gave her very little to no directions on how I wanted the decor set up for our small intimate wedding and she set it all up just perfectly! During the planning process she made everything so easy and stress free. All of the vendors that she suggested were also soo amazing!! The day was just absolutely perfect. We are so happy that we chose to work with Shannon and have our wedding at the Las Mariposas Estate. We are so happy and grateful to have been able to work with Shannon at Citrus City Events for our wedding on May 8th 2021. She was absolutely amazing, very organized, always willing to help us and made our wedding planning experience stress-free. She provided us referrals for vendors we still had not hired and those vendors were absolutely amazing as well. We are very appreciative of the time Shannon would take to meet with us in person, to email us and to answer our phone calls. On our wedding day, we added last minute guests which required an extra table, chairs and floral arrangements-Shannon was flexible and quick to think of a solution for us during this stressful time. Shannon is an amazing coordinator. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner. She was communicative throughout every step and has an amazing eye for detail. She is very thorough when it came down to the wedding day so we had nothing to worry about, just to show up and say, "I do." Before our wedding I didn't want a huge wedding or party and no less than 5 minutes after we left the venue we looked at each other and asked if we were ready to do it all again, this is solely based of off Shannon's expertise.
