Shannon is very professional, personable, caring and most of all genuine. i truly believe she cares about everyone's wedding she is involved in and does not treat you like a transaction. she truly loves what she does and this is definitely her calling. From the start shannon was so helpful to my husband and i. we had no idea what we were doing and she made it very simple for us, providing simple tasks at a time. we were overwhelmed and with her assistance it took all those feelings away. Shannon was always available via phone, text or email and had speedy responses. our wedding came out better than we ever expected and was an absolute dream. a couple weeks before my wedding many things changed and through the process shannon guided me relieving me of all the stress that came with the last minute changes. Shannon even went to the extent of fixing my seating chart for me to help us days before the wedding, she did not have to do this. she did this to be helpful. the day of was absolutely stunning. shannon also has a wide variety of anything you may need for your wedding to rent which was a huge perk when it came to decor, games and anything extra you may need. In the last three months leading up to the wedding, Shannon provided worksheets and checklists to assist with the final details. It included things I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. Through emails, texts, and phone calls, she ensured I was prepared for the big day. The week of the wedding, we did have to make some adjustments due to last minute rain. Although I was stressed about it raining on my wedding day, Shannon jumped into action and secured a tent for the outdoor ceremony. As soon as I arrived on-site the day of, all of my worries went away. The setup was more beautiful than I had imagine, even with the rain. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Shannon. She handled everything from creating a timeline, confirming my vendors, setting up the venue, and even holding my train as I posed for pictures in the rain. I was able to trust Shannon’s expertise and enjoy my wedding day without worrying about what would come next. I will forever be thankful for Shannon and Citrus City Events.

Shannon let us know on a Monday that we needed to purchase last minute fans, due to a heat wave. However, on Wednesday, it changed from fans to umbrellas, as there was now a thunderstorm for our Friday wedding. Shannon was able to get us a last minute tent for our outdoor ceremony and moved everything indoors. Although it was not our dream wedding, our wedding day turned out perfectly and cannot thank Shannon enough! She had a group chat started with all of our vendors to keep them updated with the weather and any changes as well. We would definitely recommend Shannon to everyone looking for a wedding planner!!

In less than an hour shannon has found us a delicious caterer who was able to feed all of our guest and show up within our time frame for dinner. I know she was stressed but she made it look effortless. She made sure we enjoyed our night and she handled the rest. Our night was nothing short of magical and it’s all because of her. I would book her again in an instant! She was worth every penny & more!

Every major vendor she recommended, such as florist, dj, caterer, we chose and they were amazing! Getting closer to our wedding date, I was more overwhelmed with putting final details together. Shannon is very organized and had pack lists for me to complete to make sure I was not forgetting any details! Up to a week prior to our wedding, a big storm was coming in and we were devastated giving half of our wedding was outdoors. Shannon assured us that regardless our wedding was going to be beautiful. We needed to pick a rain plan and we’re so thankful we did. She hussled to find us a tent vendor for our ceremony and for the rest of our vendors to ensure they were covered and out of any rain. Even though it only drizzled when i walked down the aisle, everything was gorgeous! The way she set up our reception was perfect! She was so helpful to my husband and I the day of making sure we were having a great time and that everything was in order. We couldn’t have done this without her. Thank you Shannon, we love you!!

In addition to her coordinator services, she provided us with numerous decor items. And she introduced us to almost every single vendor we used, all of whom were also great (and who all said the exact same glowing things about how great Shannon is to work with). She demonstrated an uncanny ability to remain calm in any situation, and the fates provided more than her fair share of situations for her to deal with. She delivered above and beyond her already-extremely-reasonable fee. Our wedding day went exactly as we wanted it to, and it was an incredibly special experience for us and for all our guests, and so much of that is because Shannon was the perfect partner for executing our vision. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

As we got closer, I never felt overwhelmed because she had the experience and expertise to know where we were headed and what I needed to accomplish. A week before, the weather forecast was all rain. I was pretty upset but Shannon made sure all options were explored and that I felt confident in decisions. Day of, we felt so taken care of. She made sure we had food and drinks and that we were following schedule. Not only is Shannon incredibly organized, she has so many cute supplies you can pick to use for your wedding including lawn games! She truly makes your day feel special!! Our wedding was perfect because of Shannon. If it wasn’t for her our big day wouldn’t have been as lovely. We had different plans originally, a whole venue booked, etc. We met Shannon and just knew we had to cancel everything we planned and book with her. From her skills in decor to planning, on to vendors, etc. Shannon absolutely made our wedding the BEST day ever. If we could go back and change anything, we wouldn’t because of Shannon.. 20 out of 10 recommend.

As soon as we sat down for the reception, Shannon was there to check on us and to ensure we had everything we needed. Our wedding was a bit non-traditional and Shannon and Shelbie both rolled with everything so professionally and kindly and even packed everything up at the end of a very long night!
