d not want to pick out every little detail like table cloths and chairs etc. They provided the food which was DELICIOUS, the bartenders, alcohol and they even helped pass out my late night snack Judice Inn burgers. They were soo accommodating with all of my requests and Ashley was able to recommend some vendors for me (I used her recommendations for the photo booth and wedding planner and loved both!!) They made my life and wedding planning so stress free. And they were so laid back. They recently renovated the ballroom during covid with new paint and beautiful chandeliers. We had around 350 guests in the ballroom and placed the food in the room across the lobby and everyone fit comfortably. We even got a free stay at the carriage house the night of the wedding which was so convenient because it is walking distance. Cant recommend City Club enough!!

Despite the concerns of COVID and making the decision to postpone for a short while, they continued to support me and answer any questions I had. THE WEDDING ITSELF: every guest that came said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The food, service and location was just perfect. It was everything I dreamed of and more. I can’t think Jennifer and Ashley enough for going above and beyond to make it happen.

She NEVER hesitated with any requests and went above and beyond to help us make these events successful. I cannot truly describe how professional everyone was: from the cleaning staff, to the coordinator, to the servers, etc. Everyone was more than willing to help make things go as smoothly as they needed to go. The night of the actual event, Ashley also went above and beyond my expectations! She made sure that everything was taken care of and if there were any concerns, she took care of them! All of our other vendors (florist, photographer, videographers, DJ, etc.) also verbalized just how awesome their experience was as well!! AND THE FOOD... OH MY GOODNESS.. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend City Club for your upcoming wedding/reception. We have absolutely no regrets... my only regret was that our night had to come to an end.

eption was in the Evangeline Room. The atmosphere outside in the square at night was gorgeous—our wedding guests are still talking about it! The service and food (gumbo, potato salad, green salad, and desserts) were better than we even expected! City Club did their best to accommodate my vision for our special day and make all the little details perfect. And if you are debating whether or not to rent the Bridal Suite... DO IT! It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding day, to hang out in such a beautiful place with my family and friends.

Jennifer and Ashley were such a delight to work with. They made everything run smoothly and without stress. Photos by Robby came out great. City Club at River Ranch is the best place for a wedding in Lafayette. We live in Denver and had to rely on Jennifer and Ashley to bring this all together and they did a fantastic job.

ons. The coordinator took care of everything! She found me and brought me drinks all night. She told us when it was time to walk, cut cake, take certain pics, etc. We even decided that night to do the money dance and she had pins ready! The food was delicious. Guests went back for multiple servings. I had the fried fish, shrimp, chicken, pasta, Carving meat table, meat pie, and seafood gumbo. It was all so good. The lights were dim and the venue felt magical. I would highly recommend for any bride for their special wedding day.

She is truly a professional at what she does and will make this a memorable experience. On the night of the dinner Ashley and Trevor were there making sure every detail was carried out to perfection. Juan the bartender made everyone feel right at home with their drink request. The next night the reception was simply amazing Ashley, Trevor and Juan were repeating their efforts from the night before. The food and ambiance were flawless. If you are in the Lafayette area there is no better place than City Club River Ranch to have your wedding and the Carriage House is the perfect place to get ready and take photos for the big event.

They were so sweet and checked on my husband and I to make sure we had enough to eat and drink, and making sure the AC was okay. At the end of the night all of our belongings and food were brought up to our hotel room ready for us. I cannot recommend them enough! They were an absolute delight to work with!

e. It was very spacious with a kitchen/dining area, 2 living areas and 2 bathrooms (one downstairs and one upstairs). We were all very comfortable preparing for the big event. Ashley Trahan (wedding coordinator) checked on us several times to make sure all our needs were met. The men enjoyed passing time in their own condo at the Carriage House which was very comfortable and had ample room to accommodate them. Pictures were taken in the beautiful courtyard which was just a short walk from the Bridal Suite. The lush landscaping provided a picturesque backdrop for many photographs. The Eleven Hundred Club provided an intimate setting for the wedding ceremony and accommodated our small gathering of wedding guests. The Grill and Bar was beautifully decorated for the reception. All my daughter had to do was add a few personal touches of her own. There was plenty of room to dance and enjoy the music. The room also had access to a patio area outside which many guests used and enjoyed. Ashley was always available with a friendly smile to answer any questions or fulfill a request. Donovan Broussard (the chef) and his staff prepared some delicious food. Many guests commented on how good the food was. The staff were professional and attentive to details and always available to assist us in anyway. All in all it was a wonderful experience and will hold many happy memories for those that attended.

he Grill & Bar has a beautiful patio that overlooks Town Square where guests can escape the music for a bit for a nice conversation. Food was PHENOMENAL!! Our guests are still talking about. es, we decided on City Club. Jennifer Foreman, the Director of Sales, graciously guided us through the planning process and made planning the wedding reception details a joy. Her prompt response time, professional attitude, and honest feedback was great! We did eventually hire a wedding planner to assist with the day-of wedding timeline, but Jennifer helped me make many decisions along the way. We got great feedback from our guests on the food that was provided as well. It is a bit pricier than other places in Lafayette, but you are paying for so much more than a room to have your reception. There are so many things you cannot plan when you are preparing for a wedding so my advice is to invest in reliable vendors who you know will do whatever they can to make you happy.

We had a small wedding, and the 1100 Room was so beautiful, affordable, and our guests are still raving about the food! Every City Club staff member we met was so kind, helpful, and professional. I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had, and how grateful we are to be able to look back on our beautiful wedding reception. We will always treasure the memories we made that night and remain grateful to City Club for making it happen!

when we visited the venue. From our very first meeting with Jennifer Foreman, it was obvious that we were right where we needed to be! We felt so comfortable AND welcomed. She listened to what we had in mind and offered many great suggestions and options. I was thrilled that I didn't have to worry about renting tables, chairs, linens, etcetera since that was all included. We wanted to keep things convenient for everyone (especially for the groom's family, who were from out of town) and also stay within our budget. It was basically like having 4 venues in one, all within steps of each other! And each one has its own distinct ambiance and look, so you didn't feel like you were "repeating". We used the spacious bridal suite at the Carriage House for the girls to spend the day getting ready together, and several of us booked rooms there for the weekend so we didn't have to worry about driving anywhere. In the long run, it was money well spent. The rehearsal dinner was held in the elegant 1100 Room. The room is beautiful enough, and we just added a few pictures, flowers and candles to personalize it. The food and the service were fabulous. Better than many restaurants I've been to. Although our plans were to have the wedding ceremony outdoors under the gazebo, Mother Nature suggested otherwise. So we moved the ceremony indoors to the Evangeline Ballroom. It wasn't what we had initially envisioned, but it turned out to be beautiful and actually much more intimate. Ashley and Jennifer made the transition seem so smooth, and handled everything. Our reception followed in the Fleur de Lis Ballroom. In addition to the more traditional wedding food, we also added one of the groom's favorites...a pizza bar. And instead of a groom's cake, he wanted a donut wall. The glass donut wall (rented from City Club) filled with Meche's donuts was classy yet fun. Our guests repeatedly expressed how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was, and how much they enjoyed themselves. The bride and groom were able to have a few moments to dine privately before making their grand entrance into the ballroom. And it was one heck of a party! We didn't run out of food or drink (every MOB's concern, especially here in Cajun country!) and there were servers to clean up any mess. All too quickly it seemed that it was time to send the couple off to begin their life as Mr. & Mrs. And as they headed off to the honeymoon suite (which was also included) I'll never forget the hug from my son-in-law and daughter as she whispered in my ear, "Thanks so much, Mom. This really was THE best day ever." Thank you Jennifer, Ashley, and the entire staff of City Club for making it as stress free as possible, so that I could enjoy it too. Five stars just don't seem enough!
