We had our rehearsal dinner in "Jelly's Room" at Cadence, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was a perfect size for our party of 22. The space is very unique and cool. My husband and I have always been fans of the restaurant/ bar, and were very excited to host our event here, and they did not disappoint. The catering menu is really great, and provides lots of options. The food we ordered was so good; all our guests raved about it. We did a small buffet style dinner, starting with apps, then about 45 min later they swapped out the apps for the entree choices. The best part about Cadence, though, is their cocktails. They are unique, well thought out, and well balanced. They also feature classic prohibition era cocktails (thus the speakeasy theme) that are extremely well done. We all enjoyed each drink we had. Meg helped us finalize details, and she was great to work with. She was very organized and responsive. I felt very confident with everything and knew I was in good hands. She had great attention to detail and everything went as we had anticipated.
Can’t share on how it is to actually work with them. Couldn’t get a return call to discuss anything….
Called 5 days in a row and did the online inquiry, kept getting the run around.. never got a call back or an email back from them. I either kept getting voicemail when I would call or they would tell me someone will call me back tomorrow. The one day I got through and they said Meg would call me back that day after she was done with setting up her events and never called me back.
Wish we could have used them or even gotten in contact with them. I would suggest setting up a better system for this. It worries me that if we even were to get through and get details and book, that they wouldn’t be attentive to any questions along the way and you have no way to contact them properly to actually get a response.
This is a new event & restaurant space (opened Fall 2022). I previously booked my wedding elsewhere, and considered having my bridal shower here. Martin, the catering manager was very nice and excited to show us the spaces. We toured them, and this is a really great new event venue in Pittsburgh...definitely check it out! They have a large reception hall, and a smaller room across the foyer that you can have a ceremony, or shower in. They also have a restaurant downstairs & a couple private dining rooms that would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner.
