The food was absolutely delicious, we got rave reviews from our guests! They have lots of options for table set ups and are very affordable and have lots of options for our guests with food allergies. Our only wish was that our day of person had been more a part of the planning process.

CK Catering helped make our wedding an amazing day! They offer a number of opportunities to come try out the full menu and pick everything you want, and are able to work with you to customize pieces of the menu to make the day what you want it to be. The food served at our wedding was hot, plentiful and well-made. A great company, that is good at what they do.

CK Catering is amazing! The whole team is very friendly and helpful from the tasting all the way up to boxing our cake. The food was delicious and is a really good deal for how much food & appetizers you get. They also made the venue look absolutely beautiful with their setup. Bob was really accommodating during our tasting process, & the whole planning team was helpful before the wedding! Erica went above and beyond during the reception and saved a lot of cake for us when we weren’t able to have any. Would definitely recommend!

Yes, yes, yes!! Food was absolutely amazing on our wedding. Everything is cooked onsite, so it's super fresh. We opted for the pulled pork as one of our entrees and it was to die for. I do not think we had any leftovers, but keep in mind that they will not let you take it home as it could be a health code issue. Dietary allergies, restrictions were not a problem at all, which was a relief as some of our guests had some food allergies. Nonetheless, everyone I worked with was super helpful and communication was never an issue. Would definitely book with them again.

So many options of what to eat. Everyone loved their food! Great prices! Only thing that upset us was the two missed meetings at the very end without emailing us and the need to reschedule. The first time the person had a very good reason and we weren’t upset. However, the second time there was no reason of forgetting to even email us that they needed to reschedule, so instead we waited by our phone and computer for a hour.

CK Catering had great service from the get-go! Everything went so smooth with them - from planning to executing the catering at our wedding, we felt we could trust them with every aspect related to food on our special day. We had a shorter engagement period, so we were just really happy that CK was able to fit us into their already busy schedule. We decided to go with them for catering because the food we tried at the tasting was delicious, but the food on the day of our wedding was even more superb! All our guests complimented the food! Wendy was so helpful in guiding us through the process of planning everything and on our actual wedding day, CK's staff was so efficient that we didn't notice they were there until the food was already out. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Hands down, the best food that I have ever eaten from catering. All the guests raved about the meal. We had family style and people ate seconds. There was plenty of food. Everything, from the appetizers, dinner, dessert and late night pizza was outstanding. The wait staff was wonderful. I highly recommend CK catering.

CK was part of our venue package and without this restriction we would have gone with someone else. First, CK did not really make us feel extremely welcomed. We went to the large group/open tasting and the presentation was done in a very inviting way but this was not the feeling through the remainder of the process. We went for a private tasting with just our parents meaning a group of 6 and I think we may have eaten less than one plate of food between the 6 of us. They put us in a room with mis-matched office chairs and sat around a table where we all ate the tiniest portions of food that were potentially going to be at our wedding. Not only were there extremely small portions but we were also limited to a handful of options. we were not able to try all of the options (I think 6 options to taste). Each time we discussed an option it was quickly and often mentioned the item would cost extra. "you want napkins folded?? that's a dollar extra.." stuff like this. we understand some items cost extra but it felt like the focus. In particular we wanted passed appetizers and not stationed we were told that they might not have the staffing to do this (6 months in advance) this cost us extra per person. They were often trying to get us to change our appetizer option to not be passed. They made it clear that other weddings were happening and that they could not make some options available for us. We felt like we weren't a priority and those discussions should be handled before the options were made available to us. Example: approximately 30 days before the wedding the display setting for the donuts and cider we were having was no longer going to be available because just 2 other weddings were happening that needed the display. No offer or solutions were extended to us until we purchased a display of our own. Keep in mind with their pricing, its a tier system. The options in the lower tiers are not great and seemed on the level of a pot luck. we were even told by one of the cooks that the beef option in tier 2 was so bad that they wouldn't offer it at the public tasting. Be prepared to go to higher tiers, but remember, you only get 6 options to try at the private tasting so choose wisely. Foodwise, the appetizers were good. They were premade and were a little cold on the day of but it was a cold and semi-outdoor wedding. The dinner was mediocre. The vegetables were bland (dill carrots and roasted potatoes). For the mains, The Carved Stations are the clear winners (Pork Tenderloin and Prime Rib). The prime rib was added after the private tasting, out of fear that the other meat options were going to be terrible. The maple chicken was clearly cooked prior and reheated, resulting in a dry chicken. The vegetarian meal was plated and served cold. The saving grace for everyone was the horseradish sauce that came with the prime rib. The desserts were great and highly recommend the Donuts and Cider. The late-night hotdogs were great. Talking with the owner in the end was a great help. He was the only person along the way that made us feel like a real customer and not a number. TLDR Food was average in taste and way below average for the price. For a large established company we expected much much more. Terrible customer service. Get the Donuts.

I cannot recommend CK Catering enough! We worked with Gale as our coordinator, who was absolutely amazing. She helped walk me through every step of the details and decisions and offered genuinely helpful recommendations to keep things more in budget. The day of service was also amazing and the food was delicious! We received great compliments. My favorites were the harvest salad with apple cider vinaigrette, the pork loin with red wine reduction sauce, and the horseradish and parmesan smashed potatoes. We also had a dessert bar of cider and donuts, which were the best -- the donuts come from a local orchard I grew up going to, so they were very special and delicious! And instead of passed appetizers, we did a charcuterie board, which was a huge hit. The staff day of were great at getting the salads and bread to tables for family style serving, then dismissing tables in an orderly fashion for buffet service. They also cut and plated our cake for us, which was great. You can't go wrong by choosing CK!

CK Catering was phenomenal to work with. From the first email to our wedding night, they were extremely responsive and professional! First, they were upfront across all price points from the very beginning. It was a relief to be able to budget ourselves correctly and not have any surprises throughout our planning process. Second, the food was phenomenal. Our wedding night food tasted just like our tasting and our guests raved about it all evening! We couldn't have had a better experience with the quality of taste of the food. Superb! Third, they set up all of our desserts and cake for us, which was included in our catering package. They did a beautiful job making our mini pastry dessert table look so cute! They also went out of their way to check and order bamboo dessert and appetizer plates for us. Win! Lastly, the people from CK Catering were all wonderful to work with. Our coordinator went above and beyond during our set up calls to answer any and all questions and walk through each step thoroughly and the staff the night of - amazing! We were met with such kindness and so much help on our wedding night, it made our special night that much more special interacting with the wonderful CK staff that evening. From food to service to professionalism - CK knocked it out of the park!!!

Everything from the planning, to the day of service, to the quality of food was above and beyond what we could have imagined. It has been 2x weeks since the wedding, and we are still receiving compliments from guests about how much they enjoyed the food and how professional and efficient the service was. All in all, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect day, and while we are so impressed with the day-of execution, none of that would have been possible without the incredible planning, communication and organization from the CK team behind the scenes from the very beginning stages leading up to the big day.

CK Catering was an absolute joy to work with every step of the way. Our Coordinator Annabelle was a total rockstar. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating not only with getting us everything we needed but also in planning the schedule for the day of. CK Catering worked with us to accommodate all allergies and dietary restrictions of our guests. The food was wonderful, and all of the day of staff was extremely professional and kind.

We used CK Catering for our wedding in October 2022. As mentioned in all the other reviews, they were amazing. They were incredibly organized from the beginning of the booking process. We did one of the large group tastings which we loved because it demonstrated their ability to make food at a large scale. We thought the food at the tasting was delicious and found it very hard to narrow down the food we wanted to include at our wedding, because everything was so good! After we got our coordinator, we had a few calls as the timeline got closer to the wedding day to review our information and confirm timeline for the meal. Our one compliant is we did have some issues with our coordinator attending the calls and being responsive to our questions leading up to the day. The day of, they were fantastic to work with and we got through our dinner service as quickly as they had expected which was amazing given the size of our wedding (200 people). I would absolutely recommend CK Catering if you are getting married in the area!

We hired CK Catering for buffet style dinner on our big day. From appetizers over buffet and late night snack, the food was absolutely delicious and the whole staff extremely friendly and professional. The preparation before the big day as well as everything on the day itself worked absloutely flawlessly and we did not had to worry about anything. We highly recommend CK catering and definitively would work with them again.

So happy we chose CK Catering for our wedding! We received soo many compliments on how delicious all of the food was. We had appetizers during cocktail hour - there are so many good ones to choose from! Then we wanted to do something different so we had stations for dinner. Which was so fun because everyone got to try a little bit of everything. CK also was very accomadating for my family who has food allergies - they made them their own plates at no additional charge. They also had kids meals for my cousins children - which they all really appreciated! For dessert, we had the shooters, in addition to our cake, which are delicious! CK has a whole pre-wedding questionnaire/checklist that you go through with them a few months before the wedding to make sure everything is in place. The only complaint we have is that CK forgot the water station, which we went over with them and was suppose to be included in the full service package. They brought the coffee station, but not water so not sure what happened. So we had to pay more money to have our bartending service get more bottled water. But overall we recommend!

CK Catering did an amazing job on our wedding luncheon reception We cannot say enough about the quality of their complete service package and the food was out of this world! They easily handled options for those with special food needs and the variety of food choices had something for everyone. Melissa is a pleasure to work with. She is customer focused and her food staff and wait staff are superb. We cannot recommend them high enough!!!!!!!

Best wedding food we ever had. Pulled pork, chicken, and mac and cheese were to die for. On time. Presented nicely. Plenty of food, and we got the leftovers. Ice Cream Bar...enough said. Val and Jay outstanding!!!

CK was so organized and on-top of all the details for our wedding. The food was delicious, the service was extremely personable (they remembered many details about specific guests), and we couldn’t have asked for a better menu! Pssssst get the pulled pork on a chip appetizers- it was my favorite food for the entire wedding 🤣

CK Catering seems like a small mom/pop type of caterer located in SW MI...but don't let that fool you. They are top notch. They worked with all my customization of my menu and had great suggestions as well. Bob is extremely accommodating. He was a pleasure to work with. The entire team was professional, service orientated and the food was SO GOOD! Everyone loved our non-traditional wedding menu and said it was the best wedding food they had eaten. Melissa is very organized and pays attention to your vision and does everything possible to make it happen. Thank you for everything!

Our wedding venue uses this company and we couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out. Food was delicious and every person we worked with before and during the wedding were extremely helpful. Me and my husband are already wishing we could go back and eat more!

Bob and the team at CK Catering are so awesome! They will help get you aligned with any of the things you need to serve your guests. They have so many different options of flatware, silverware, dishware, linens, you name it! I am sure they can suit any style or need for each type of wedding or event. But the best part.... THE FOOD! My wife and I showed up to the tasting and were completely blown away. We thought we had a solid menu idea and decided to try some other meals during our tasting and it made the final menu decision much harder than we originally thought. Every single item was cooked to perfection! They put so much care into any allergies you or your guests may have. They even will go out of their way to feed one person in a crowd who may have a unique food restriction or allergy. The last part, the service. They are so professional, super responsive, so unbelievably nice, and they are quiet and quick to set up. Where our wedding was, there was potential for noise/viewing of the truck during the ceremony as they came to set up, but the CK Catering staff took so much care to ensure they did not disturb or disrupt any part of the ceremony during their set up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone on the South West portion of Michigan

We used CK for our wedding and the food was amazing!! All night everyone told us how good everything was. They worked with me on my moms food sensitivities too and sure she had a great meal too. Both of us don’t like cake so we did their dessert in a mason jar and I was more than happy with that choice every single one was delicious!! The staff they sent were all so nice and great to work with not only that day but leading up to the wedding! I highly recommend them!!

Amazingly delicious food at an affordable price! Annabelle and the rest of Ck were great to us and so helpful. My guests raved about the food non stop! So good! The group food tasting was also really fun and I suggest you do that! I love all the options they had for everythingggggg.

CK catering was a great team to work with! When we first started planning our wedding it was at the beginning of COVID. The team at CK allowed us to come in for a small tasting when we were in town, which was very nice and helpful! Our wedding day turned out to be during a heat wave but everything still tasted and looked wonderful. Our cheesecake bar could have used some cooling as the heat got to the cheesecake later in the evening, but not much you can do with the weather. Overall, we had a great experience with the CK team and they took amazing care of our guests!

Delicious food for an affordable price. We did a semi-annual tasting event as well as a private tasting and both were great to solidify our decisions from many possible choices. The table settings was classy and mostly included with the price of food although we paid for some upgrades. Staff did a great job the day off to make sure everyone got their correct meal.

Along with other aspects of our wedding day, one thing every guest I received feedback from mentioned was how good the food was!! My new husband and I ate last (guests first) and by that time I was famished and just inhaled the food, so hardly had time to even taste it, but the spinach salad was fresh as promised, the carved roast beef tender, mashed potatoes full of yummy carbs that I was craving as I'd cut them from my diet pre-wedding, and grilled, local asparagus delicious. We were disappointed in the sea bass and had an issue with the appetizers (nothing horrid, just not exactly what we asked for or expected), which is why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5. However, when Bob at CK realized that there was lack of communication in the type of sea bass they use and their staff got confused about the appetizer service d/t poor communication, he quickly apologized and offered a partial refund without us even asking! Talk about customer service!! Overall, we were very pleased with CK Catering and recommend them for your special event :)

We used CK Catering for our wedding in SW Michigan last October and were very glad that we did. They were great to work with throughout the process and (most importantly) the food was absolutely delicious! Our wedding was originally scheduled for June but we postponed to October due to COVID-19. CK Catering was flexible with our date change and answered all of our questions we had regarding how we could modify the dinner service given the pandemic. They also had an outdoor group tasting in the summer that allowed us to safely taste all of the food options before finalizing our menu ahead of the wedding. We had originally planned for a buffet style serving at our wedding but COVID obviously changed that. As a replacement option, CK offered an alternative where staff behind glass served up what guests chose. The modified service worked great and we received rave reviews from our guests about the food & service. We were very happy with the safety protocols that CK Catering had in place. Everything with our wedding was perfect and CK Catering was a big part of helping make sure that happened. We loved using them and would highly recommend them to anyone else planning a wedding. When looking back on the planning of our wedding CK Catering was the worst part. They were just extremely unprofessional and they were a nightmare to work with. Everything up to the day of our wedding was a struggle with them. They tried to charge us more than the price they originaly quoted, then they actually overcharged us (double check your bill), extremely unfelixable, their front office staff was rude and difficult to work with. We had a COVID wedding and all of our other venders were willing to work with us CK Catering up-charged us for things that needed to be adjusted pre COVID guidelines. I will say that on the day of our wedding the food was delicious. Thank goodness! If you want good food and a massive headache (due to their incompetence) go with CK Catering!

CK catering and their team were awesome to work with and were super accommodating to everything going on in the world right now and it was some of the best food ever!

The food was very good, but the plates and silverware they used were pretty cheap. I had nicer disposable silverware for the rest of the weekend’s festivities. Other than that, I was pleased with the quality of the food.

Amazing food and very helpful staff. Felt like the food was safe and sanitary to eat. Before the wedding they walked me through the timeline. Overall an amazing experience.

We were going to use them for our wedding until we had to switch venues because of COVID. They were great at communicating and very understanding. They were really helpful and we went to a couple tastings and the food was great!

The food was delicious! They worked with us on creating a heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet with items we wanted. They were on time and had everything set up when it was time to eat. They did a great job at refilling the buffet and even set up our cupcake towers and got the cake out for us to cut. I highly recommend them for any event!

They are so detailed in planning that my wedding went without any issues. They catered to vegetarian and vegan needs. They even helped with things not related to food- setting up décor, fixing a broken door, which truly shows the type of people they have working for them. The food was so good and they timed everything out perfectly. I wouldn’t change anything about the food or caterers! They did an amazing job and went above and beyond.

So thankful for CK CATERING! They were the preferred vendor of our venue, and I'm so thankful we didn't have to overthink it. Wedding vendors and the coordination of it all can get a bit crazy, but CK is so organized and I never had to stress over the food! We got so many compliments on how everything tasted, too ...which doesn't always happen! Our wedding size was 160 guests and we did a mix between family style and buffet. It was perfect! (Also, we were from out of town and they gave us a private tasting. Everything was delicious and we were so appreciative for this option) Many thanks!!

We hired CK Catering for our wedding reception. We worked with CK to design an interactive eating experience, with passed appetizers and stationed heavy hors d'oeuvres, the idea of keeping the guests up and moving in a non-traditional atmosphere (no seated formal dinner). The staff was very well prepared and kept the food coming. We loved every item, as did our guests, in particular noting the pad Thai station was a very cool design and delicious. We greatly appreciated working with CK, and would definitely recommend their services to friends and family in the future.

I simply cannot say enough about CK Catering and the Coordinating team. Melissa Hollerbach and her small, but mighty team are ABSOLUTE ROCK STARS. I was, admittedly, a very picky bride. Melissa and I had multiple 2+ hour long coordination conversations so that every single detail was worked out exactly how I wanted. Melissa asked me things I didn't even think to plan and she did it with kindness, warmth, and a whole lot of patience. Our day was STUNNING. It was everything I had dreamed. Melissa and her team executed the same way a team of 20 would have. They were angels and didn't miss a single detail. On top of that, the food from CK catering was absolutely delicious, hot, and served by the friendliest staff. I've gotten nothing but compliments about the day. Melissa and the CK team are worth far more than they charge and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Melissa!!

We had an outdoor wedding at 12 Corners Vineyard and my husband and I were really worried about the quality of food, with there not being a kitchen onsite. But the food not only looked beautiful on the plate, it tasted fantastic! We had a duet plate of champagne chicken and a crusted tilapia, roasted vegetables, mash potatoes and family style fettuccine Alfredo. We had a lot of compliments on the food and I am so glad because I think I had one bite of everything and then got pulled away for more wedding festivities. I would highly recommend CK on pricing, food quality and service.

We are so happy we chose CK Catering! The food was excellent & the team was so helpful with all of the planning leading up to the wedding day. CK handled everything from pre-ceremony drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. The onsite team was prompt & professional. The transitions between meals were flawless. We received tons of compliments from our guests after the wedding. The dessert was also incredible (highly recommend the peanut butter pie).

We had the Champagne Chicken and the BBQ Brisket- and it was amazing! Guests loved every bite from the appetizers to the final course. Wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

We thought well it’s good for “catered food for a large amount of people.” We were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was the day of our wedding! We were so happy we had CK Catering for our reception! Both our parents and all of our guests loved it and even had seconds. The staff is very accommodating and professional. Leading up to the event, they provided great customer service and really walked us through every step and choice. We knew it was going to be hassle free the day of and we were right. All food was tasty, warm and well seasoned. Tables looked great and the head chef could not have been more professional. They made us feel like the beautiful brides and hosts we were.

Good variety to choose from, self sufficient on site, and Melissa even came up to me and reminded me that my dinner was ready to be eaten. Bacon wrapped dates, shrimp cocktail, ice cream bar, and mashed potatoes were items that stood out to us. Thank you for being a part of our special day!

I got married in October so this is kind of late. CK is so amazing. They were helpful every step of the way. My guests were very impressed with how pleasant the entire staff was. food and service was great! overall, great experience.

CK Catering catered our wedding at The Box Factory. Their friendly staff were professionally dressed, attentive, and timely. The guest’s favorites were the the baby lamb chops with mint chutney, the charcuterie table, and prime rib with horseradish mayo. They raved about all the food!
