We went in for a face-to-face visit, where they were willing to prepare five items of our choosing to preview to help us with the main course decision. We also attended an open house event where we were able to preview a few of the sides, desserts, salads, and other specialty items. Ultimately, we decided on a family style service with balsamic chicken & steak with chimichurri sauce. The CK Catering team was very accommodating of our gluten free and vegetarian guests, too. They communicated very openly and honestly about possible options and choices, which we truly appreciated. We wanted the experience to be as enjoyable as possible for our guests, and CK Catering made this happen. The wait staff were so efficient, friendly & attentive. If we could, we would relive every moment of our wedding day thanks to their special care and attention to detail.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and the food, which all agreed was the most delicious dinner served at a wedding. In particular, the beef tenderloin was a huge hit, as were the nacho bar and pulled pork sliders for the late-night snack.

Constantly making sure we had what we needed & wanted, communicating with our vendors, keeping on track with the planning timeline and even making amazing reccomendations for ourselves and our guests in regards to what to do in the area!! the table linens and menu details. She worked with us to realize our Travel/Island theme and suggested the Caribbean Pork Tenderloin with mango salsa – which was a HUGE hit! We were hesitant at first, as we had several guests with dietary restrictions and allergies, but Melissa was very wonderful in contacting our guests to verify allergen information and to be certain they would covered for our event. She even went out of her way to offer two different vegan options, as some guests had severe gluten allergies and could not have the pasta option. The day of our wedding, we were BLOWN AWAY by the food. It tasted even better than it had at our tasting. I’ll be honest, we both have very large and very picky families when it comes to food, but our guests are STILL raving about how amazing the food was and joke about wishing they could have taken some home to have for later. All of our guests with allergies were also amazed by how delicious everything was, and were stuffed by the end of the day! Melissa also assisted us in adding a last minute beverage package for during our ceremony, and I’m SO glad we did. Our wedding day ended up being unseasonably hot, at 91F with a heat index of 99F – so the ceremony beverages were a huge hit! We honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about them and the entire planning process, so THANK YOU!

s, and entrees available! We had the most amazing food thanks to CK Catering! The appetizers were to die for. For dinner, we went with BBQ pork, homemade BBQ sauce & Carolina mustard, garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and side salad (with apples, walnuts, and raspberry vinaigrette). What stood out most about CK Catering compared to others was all the ways we could cut down on costs! For example, we opted for a buffet (rather than family style or plated meals) and chose their bamboo recyclable dining ware to save several dollars per guest. I will say, my only complaint was that some of our choices were missing on the big day. We had planned on CK Catering providing a chalkboard menu, so that guests would know what to choose from. CK Catering did not communicate this to whoever they sent to Blue Dress Barn, so there was no menu and guests were a little confused what their options were. My dad, for example, put BBQ sauce on his potatoes thinking it was gravy. We had also planned on CK providing large sandwich rolls for the BBQ pork to be made into sandwiches at the buffet. Those were not part of the buffet on the big day. I was disappointed, but guests still enjoyed their meal. I think CK delivered on flavor. The appetizers and dinner were delicious. The staff was efficient and professional as well! I do feel CK fell short on some of the smaller details we were counting on! This upset my mom more than anything. CK assured us that we were not charged for the chalkboard menu or sandwich rolls after the fact, but that doesn’t fix the fact that they weren’t provided on my wedding day as we had planned.

saw a slight problem with our set up. We had a vegetarian, vegan and meat options and they took the extra steps to make sure our vegan guests were happy. Highly recommended! They certainly know what their doing and are reliable.

We had buffet style service and instead of traditional buffet servers they just had the big metal dishes on a table. I was not expecting that at all. Made the dinner look a little cheap. They grilled on-site which is something you don't see very often but it was comforting knowing it was being cooked on-site and not earlier and sitting in a hot car etc. We received SO many compliments from our guests about how good our food was. Thank you CK for such a great experience!!

We did a disposable package with a buffet (great on a budget!) and upgraded using their BEAUTIFUL bamboo plates and bowls (completely worth the upgrade- much better than styrofoam). We were originally told we would need only one 8 foot table for the buffet, so that is what we had set up at the reception. The staff informed me that they needed another table right before dinner started, and desite the mix up, it went very smoothly and was handled seamlessly- I didn't even notice another table being brought in (I give both the CK staff and my reception venue a shout out for that one) and dinner was still served on time. The food was amazing- our guests are still telling us how good it was (especially the sweet potatoes) and I loved not worrying about my dairy allergy, which they worked around easily. I would definitely recommend CK Catering! They were extremely accomadating, especially with budget, planning out of state, and food allergies.

(I want their recipe for their Cherry Balsamic chicken!) Everything was grilled on-site and served hot & tasted fresh and amazing! The food was a big hit with our guests. They were also really great to work with - very responsive & very friendly. I really can't say enough great things about them!

The food was superb and we had several guests say it was the best wedding food they’ve had in a long time. We opted for a dual plated option with beef tips and chicken marsala over smashed red potatoes. They handled the timeline well, were very organized, and even made a special plate without onions or garlic for one of our guests. We could tell a lot of care went into the night, and the value was really there. I would recommend them for any event or friend getting married.

gan bluff. They catered my sister's rehearsal dinner 3 years ago and we remembered the food being super tasty! They were great to work with and helped us plan everything from across the country. CK is organized and their food is delicious. I got a lot of compliments! My guests were really happy and so were my husband and me!

d, but I'm pretty picky, not sure if my guests noticed. I thought the food at the tasting was decent, but nothing to write home about., but my parents loved it. I admit to being a bit of a foodie. I wish at the tasting we could have tasted the rolls and desserts, and they were not there at all. However, at the wedding we were very pleased. We had a plated dinner for 300 people and they did a great job. There was quite a break between salad and dinner. I had said they could serve during speeches but they did not. It worked fine as guests were able to go to the bathroom/grab a drink. Everyone raved about the whiskey salmon! I did not eat (everyone told me this would happen), so I cannot rate the food myself, but the bite of the roll I had was good and fresh. The only complicated thing was refilling the wine we had on the table. CK isn't able to touch alcohol so I asked if the servers would at least offer guests another bottle of whatever ran out of the table and then notify the bartenders. It sounded like if guests asked they were able to get a bottle, but not everyone may have felt comfortable asking. I think guests had more than enough to drink so it turned out fine. I would use them again!

Melissa the coordinator for CK was helpful and accommodating having phone meetings with my husband and I after hours at home due to my work schedule. The food, set up and service was wonderful! Google Drive forms with fill-in-the-blanks for all of the information the caterer needed from us, along with scheduled calls to go over this information with Melissa, made it so that every little thing was thought of ahead of time, and enough ahead of time such that the bride & groom could have peace of mind weeks prior to the event and go into their wedding relaxed. We received many compliments from our guests on the food, which was an entree of pulled pork (among other things) served family style. CK Catering was actually the only company in the area that was not hesitant to accommodate our request for a less traditional menu of pulled pork, nacho bite appetizers, etc. The company was very good about taking on other small roles throughout the reception (Ie: relocating the guest book from the dance floor, or serving the cake pops), that are needed when there is no wedding planner involved.

ing wasn't great, some of it was still cold, and it was realy hard to only chose three things to taste, but the customer service was excellent. We fell in love with the champagne chicken and the ribs. Due to our budget we chose to stick with one option and went with the champagne chicken. We do not regret that. We had the chicken, which was perfectly cooked and everyone LOVED, a macaroni and cheese bar, which was served in martini glasses with assorted toppings, a salad that we chose, rolls, and steamed veggies. Everything was perfect. The staff was outstanding, very sweet and kind, went over the top to make sure everything was perfect. We chose to have buffet style dining with the bamboo plates, it was perfect. They were very conscious of food allergies and we had a few vegans in the party. They made sure all of that was taken care of. I have a gluten allergy and they had my plate already ready for me when dinner started, and i appreciated that so much. All of our guests loved the food and loved the staff, we would use them again in a heartbeat. I loved the menu sign they made for us, and i think that my only complaint of the whole night was that they spelled the grooms name wrong on the sign. We didn't even notice until we saw pictures. Our guests are STILL talking about how good the food was and how much they loved the staff. Thank you so much CK for making our wedding so special!!!!! (We planned the entire wedding from out of state and that was not a problem for them or us!)

That was important to me! Also MANY guests commended how polite and pleasant the staff was; and they looked fantastic- very professional. They did a FANTASTIC job setting up out sweets table (we did this in lieu of cake)! And Melissa was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the event in going over EVERY detail on phone interview and googledocs to make sure things would turn out exactly right. Everyone I emailed/called at CK Catering was exceedingly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I highly recommend this caterer!! Thank you!!

The were easy to work with (as I planned the wedding from out of town) and open to making just about anything we wanted to eat. We settled on a family style menu (braised short ribs, champagne chicken, herb crusted pork tenderloin, smashed potatoes, asparagus...) The braised short ribs and chicken were a show stopper. The pork was a bit dry so I would suggest choosing a sauce to accompany it. They had great sauces that we were able to try at a tasting but my fiancés doesn't like gravy or sauces on his meat. We ended the knight with a late night snack of slider and fries. I didn't get to this snack until it was cold but it still tasted great. Their wait staff was very attentive and professional.
