What a wonderful catering company. All of their staff is so supportive and helpful. They really felt invested in our day which made it all so much more special. The food was wonderful and there was plenty for everyone. Would recommend them for a wedding or any other event in a heartbeat!

We loved working with Classic Catering & Events for our wedding day. Autumn did a great job thoroughly communicating with us from the start, helping us choose each menu item as well as our place settings. We loved going in for a tasting and actually getting to see/ play around with all of the items available for place settings. The day of our wedding, they were short one team member, but we NEVER knew. Liz worked extremely hard to keep things flowing and keep the buffet full. We got so many compliments not just on the service, but also on the taste of food. Everything about Classic was wonderful! We are so thankful that we found them for our wedding caterers.

We had such a great experience with Classic Catering! Being 4 hours from the Southwest Michigan area, we did a lot of communication with Autumn through email and phone calls. We were fortunate enough to go in for our tasting and everything was so delicious- it was very hard to choose our meal! When it came to be the day of, everything was just as we had at our tasting. The staff were all great to work with and working with Autumn was amazing.

The staff at Classic Catering is top notch. They made you feel like family from the start. Julie was amazing, detailed, attentive and professional. The guests have been commenting for days about how good the food was and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend without reservation. It was a magical day thanks to you all.

We were very pleased choosing Classic Catering for our wedding. The food was great, the staff was very friendly, and our direct line of contact, Autumn Arp was wonderful to work with. She was very helpful when we had questions and she was very responsive whenever we needed her. Us, as well as our guests, were very pleased with the selections we chose for appetizers, our dinner, and of course our late night snack! What a hit!

Classic Catering did an incredible job on the food for our wedding! We were amazed at how professional and quick they were to serve 220 people with plated style dining. The food was FANTASTIC and everyone raved about it. They were extremely responsive and did an excellent job of accommodating all of our dietary restrictions as well. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Our wedding was at the Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor. I researched pretty much every caterer in the area and had narrowed it down to two companies. I chose Classic Catering because they offer more inclusive packages with linens, china, they even have some decor items to rent. This is a huge benefit when you are trying to coordinate so many different moving parts. All of my communication was with Autumn and she was always kind and patient during all of our inquiries . I was able to upgrade the linens to a nicer fabric because I was worried about wrinkles for a small fee. We did a private tasting as well as a group tasting which was very helpful. We received lots of compliments on our food the day of the wedding! I thought it was even better than the tastings the day of! We also did a dessert bar through them as well as a late night snack. Everything went smoothly the day of and was as I asked it to be. I would highly recommend Classic Catering and Autumn!!

Our recent wedding was a dream come true thanks to Autumn and her team at Classic Catering! The team was attentive, eager to understand our vision, and offered valuable suggestions that enhanced the experience. Autumn was very easy to get in touch with throughout the process, and the team's outstanding communication played a significant role in our satisfaction. Classic Catering also worked closely with us to design a menu that catered to our tastes and various dietary requirements. Classic Catering did an amazing job setting up an outdoor tent for our wedding, which turned out to be beautiful - we received countless compliments from our guests about the tent's appearance, as well as the overall dining experience. We couldn't be happier with choosing Classic Catering for our wedding!

We worked with Julie, who was amazing and incredibly communicative from start to finish. She was great at explaining the process, and really thorough about next steps for an anxious bride! The food is truly amazing, and everything about working with Classic was great!

Julie at Classic Catering was a huge help throughout the whole wedding planning process. She helped keep us on track of what information she needed and helped make sure all the bases were covered. She always answered every question we had and helped the day run smoothly. The food was fantastic and there were many different food choices for our family style dining. I would recommend working with Classic Catering and Julie anytime!

I truly have nothing but wonderful things to say about Julie and the entire Classic Catering Team. From the moment we reached out until the very end of our wedding night, they were 11/10. Julie was so responsive and on top of everything. She really helped us make some awesome decisions along the way so always remember, TRUST YOUR VENDORS!! they know what they are doing. We used classic for our wedding in Saugatuck and everything was 10/10 from the beginning. April was absolutely STELLAR to work with. Leading up to the wedding she was incredibly responsive, flexible, and willing to go above and beyond in every aspect to make our day exactly what we were looking for. I couldn't have asked for someone better to work with - knowing nothing about catering a wedding (both food and rentals), she kindly and patiently guided us through everything. She even showed up the day of the wedding to help coordinate when she had only gotten back from Iceland the night before! 10/10!

Autumn and the rest of the Classic Catering team were amazing. They were able to work with our busy schedules to set up a tasting early on in planning, and the food was exceptional. It definitely exceeded our expectations of what “wedding food” would taste like! We were even able to work with Autumn to set up a second tasting when one of the dishes we wanted to try was unavailable. We probably could have set up several more as there were so many options for entrees and appetizers. :) Throughout the entire planning process, Autumn was responsive via email answering all of our questions and ensuring that no detail would be missed. We would absolutely recommend Classic Catering!!

I've received a lot of feedback on how delicious the food was at our wedding! I am very happy we went with Classic Catering and working with Autumn Arp was a BREEEEEZE. She was so responsive and detailed, the hardest thing I had to do was decide on a dish! Everything was so well done and I would definitely hire Classic Catering again!

The food at our wedding was amazing. We had the classic menu buffet for dinner, and meatballs and bruschetta for our appetizers. During dinner we could over hear our guests commenting on how great the food was! We absolutely agree, everything was delicious. Aside from the food, all of the staff that we were in contact with, both the day of and behind the scenes, were incredibly helpful and very nice. Thank you!

If you are looking for a catering or rental team, look no further! This is your vendor!!! We are based in California and hired CC&E for our wedding in La Porte, IN. I cannot express how much I appreciate Autumn Arp as a partner in planning. From the minute we connected over the phone over a year ago, I knew that I had to work with this person to design our wedding from across the country. At the time, I had zero vision and was in denial that I was even hosting a large-scale event for our friends and family. Autumn patiently navigated several iterations of our ideas, starting as a backyard gathering and blossoming into a full orchard extravaganza. Autumn is highly detail oriented - she asks questions that her customers may not think about. She challenges the venues and other vendors to think through their plans more in-depth. She outlines the full picture, not the portion of the event that is isolated to her and CC&E. She understands how all of the details should interact and come together, which was incredibly beneficial. In times when we needed referrals or last-minute rentals, Autumn was also quick to point us in the right direction. She could have easily sent us on our way and hoped for the best, but she truly cared for the success of our wedding. She had great ideas, a vast network, and a big heart! On top of everything, Autumn is just a joy to work with! She is quick to communicate/follow up, incredibly responsible, and puts a whole new meaning to "midwest nice." I absolutely couldn't recommend Autumn enough to anyone who is considering planning an event small or large-scale, and I sincerely hope our paths cross again in the future.

Working with Classic Catering for our wedding and rehearsal dinner was such a pleasant experience. We started off on a great foot with the tasting, it was hard to choose from all of their delicious options. They were communicative and accommodating throughout our planning process and their staff was super attentive to my husband and I on our wedding day, ensuring we had a chance to eat something between chatting with our guests! I would highly recommend them for any event in the area.

Classic Catering and Events did an amazing job at our 9/17/22 wedding. Autumn was so great to work with from booking, taste testing, through the wedding! She was excellent at communication and went above and beyond for our special day. I would highly recommend them for any special occasions!

Classic Catering was a very professional company. They were very accommodating with our changes along the way. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good! I recommend the Cheese cakes!!

If anyone is interested in using this caterer, stay away. Dinner was not presented the way it was presented at the tasting. Very small portions, meat was cold and tough. Children were given cold, clumps of mac and cheese with cold tough chicken tenders. TERRIBLE 😡

We chose Classic Catering for our food caterer at White Oak Farm and we were very pleased with how everything turned out! At our tasting we were a bit nervous since the chef undercooked one of the meats. But the day of our wedding everything turned out beautifully! Our appetizers were amazing. Everything for dinner was cooked just as we wanted it and we had the sauces served on the side which we loved so everyone could add what they wanted. They came with their own signs for what food we were serving at the buffet, which was nice not to worry about providing that. Even a month after our wedding we are still receiving compliments from our guests talking about how good the food tasted! They set up all of our tables, chairs and place settings. They even placed the inserts for our napkins, which helped with the stress of doing that ourselves on our wedding day. We would recommend them to everyone! Very easy to work with and great at responding timely with answers.

Classic Catering was great to work with! We spent the last six months emailing with Julie to create the perfect menu for our wedding. We had three appetizer options, a wood fired pizza buffet for dinner and they were able to bring in a popcorn machine for our late night snack! Our guest were super excited about the pizza buffet and popcorn machine. Julie was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process and we truly enjoyed working with her. I would definitely recommend Classic Catering for your wedding.

Autumn was the absolute best. We came to her weeks before our wedding in a crisis and STILL got to do a tasting. The food is so good that we asked to take the chef home. All night at the wedding people came up to me saying how great the food was.

We booked Classic Catering for a Wedding Weekend in New Buffalo this past April and we could not be happier with our decision! We planned our Wedding from out of state and Autumn worked with us from the very beginning whether that be answering my questions, adjusting/adding to our contract, relaying information, you name it! Leading up to the Wedding Day, all rental items were delivered ahead of time to allow for set-up and placement. And the Catering Service on the Wedding Day was spectacular and the wait staff was BEYOND nice and friendly. We opted for the plated dinner service and our guests raved about how delicious the food was. The staff even assisted with cutting and serving the cake. I would highly recommend Classic Catering - they are a one-stop-shop for all of your Wedding/Catering needs and if you get the chance to work with Autumn, you will absolutely be taken care of and every box will be checked!

We went with Classic Catering & Events for our wedding late last year and couldn't be happier with our choice. They were a one stop solution for excellent high quality food, co-ordinated furniture rentals, table top rentals and linens. They were reasonably priced for the quality of service and food (and I did a LOT of research before finalizing!). Classic was also flexible with their Menu choices and were happy to customize as required. Julie Moser was absolutely wonderful to work with- extremely accommodating of small asks, very detail oriented and thorough, responsive, made great suggestions but was not pushy and overall very pleasant. The service on the day of the event exceeded my expectations- the Staff were very pleasant and highly attentive. All our guests were well taken care of and were raving about the food. Classic Catering and in particular, Autumn, who we worked with, are phenomenal. They catered both our June 2021 rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner (plus late night tacos). Their rentals were great and very helpful, the communication was superb, and most importantly the food was amazing. We tried another well-known local catering company and Classic Catering blew them out of the water. They were flexible with their menu as well which let us offer more food to our guests overall while not spending more money.

Despite our daughter's wedding having to be postponed and re-planned 3 different times due to the challenges of the pandemic, Classic Catering was so incredibly understanding and helpful throughout it all. Working with Classic Catering and Events for our wedding could not have been a better decision by my husband and me. It was truly a joy to work with Julie Moser, who was our contact for almost 11 months. First of all, Classic Catering is a one-stop shop; you can get delicious food for your wedding or event and rent everything from dinner forks and napkins to large arches and 200 person tents and dance floors. They have a large selection to fit any style or budget and will work with you until everything is perfect. Julie was so friendly and prompt with responding to our emails with questions and concerns—she made us feel like we were her only clients. She was there to give layout and design advice, answer wedding related questions, listen intently to our ideas and preferences and executed them for us flawlessly, and even helped us find bartending services. She and Brett took time to visit our venue so they could ensure everything went smoothly on the day of, and it did! The staff that were there the day of our wedding couldn’t have been more professional and efficient. Even when we had a last minute problem, Julie and her team immediately addressed it and found a solution. And, the food was delicious!! We had a plated service and even with an outdoor tent and some rain, they still made it so each of our guests had a hot, delicious meal served to them. Classic Catering was outstanding to work with!! They were patient and attentive and helped guide me through the process. The food was outstanding and their service couldn’t of been better! My husband and I had a number of bumps in the road in our planning process but Classic was not one of them. I would highly recommend!

We just had Classic Catering & Events cater our wedding on Saturday. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive! We got SO MANY complements on how delicious the food was, I cannot recommend them enough! Autumn who has coordinated everything from the beginning was a dream to work with and helped us plan our special day out to be just how we imagined. My husband LOVES to eat so the food was a very important detail to us for our wedding day. They had our appetizer selections waiting for us at the head table when we came in after pictures and my husband was able to get a double plate of dinner just like we requested. We had beef medallions and salmon fillets, all guests got both unless they requested otherwise which I thought was pretty neat. We got so many complements specifically about how the beef was the best steak people have been served at a wedding. They also did a great job with food allergies as we had numerous guests who needed special accommodations, including gluten, nuts, dairy, as well as other special dietary restrictions. All of their needs were taken care of and everyone was able to eat a full meal, which is a big deal if you've ever dealt with food allergies at special events. The place settings were also so pretty. I would HIGHLY recommend them as a caterer for your wedding!

We loved Classic Catering, Autumn and Chef Paul were so fun to work with. There are so many menu options, to make it easier we chose the boardwalk menu. Chef Paul prepared food for our tasting and Autumn was super helpful in the decision making process. In addition to food, classic catering provided our linens, dinnerware, glasses and they cleaned everything up throughout the night (not just dinner)! All of our guest LOVED the food, especially the Bombay shrimp, Chicken Florentine, fingerling potatoes and the vegan curry! They also raved about our mini dessert selection and the late night pretzel bar! On our wedding day, we lost power just as the main dishes were about to come out for a family style dinner. Autumn and her team did not miss a beat, they were plating food in the dark (using phone flashlights) and still managed to provide a great food presentation, right on schedule for our guests. After dinner, they moved right into clean up and getting the desserts out, we loved the mini tartlets and so did our guests! They kept the venue clean and even helped us move a few tables, as the venue owners were trying to get a generator going! It could have been a disaster, but thanks to the Classic Catering crew, our wedding day was perfectly imperfect! I highly recommend this team and the food - delicious!

Classic Catering was the perfect pick for our big day! The staff was so wonderful throughout the whole event and the pizza truck was absolutely amazing! Our guests thought it was so fun! Autumn was in constant communication with us throughout the entire planning process which made things so easy! Classic Catering was able to accommodate all of our needs and they went above and beyond!

This is in response to them. We reached out, told you of our issues, and showed proof of bad food for a year. The food would be fixed for a week and then it would go back to how it was before. Even the best food we received from you poisoned us. Literally made us so sick from it we refused to let employees eat the food for fear of their safety. Are you saying you don't have quality control? An "exception" does not continue for a year. There is NO excuse for serving raw, rare, old, moldy, rotten food. There is NO excuse for what was presented to us. An exception. If this had happened once it would be an exception and you would still have our business. Additionally, why did you take reviews off Facebook? and why is my review missing from google? Why did I have to call them to have it reinstated? Own up to your mistakes. Own up to the last year of serving COVID-19 front liners rotten food. Own up to poisoning people and not caring enough to make it right. How many other reviews have you deleted to uphold your perfect record? If you can delete mine, you can delete everyone else. I've asked around. You have a TERRIBLE reputation. Original Review: **I am uploading this everywhere now because they removed my review off their Facebook page instead of owning up to it. One star is too many. My job caters in meals with Classic Catering every single day and 90% of it is old, rotten or raw. It is to the point where when their food comes, my staff and I throw it out immediately. At this point I am convinced this company is attempting to poison us. Tuesday they served us salads. Thinking they were safe, my coworker ONLY ate the meat on top and got so sick from it she couldn't work the rest of her day. After hearing other employees complain about their salads, we pulled ours out of the trash (because we NEVER trust their food) and opened them up to find BLACK and ROTTED avocado on every single salad. As I have said, this is not the first time. Do not support this company. Ours has let them know our problems with their food multiple times, yet still they do nothing to change it. Even the fruit they serve is old. Any company willing to let this continue... to care so less about their customers that they would let this happen, is not worth your business. **My staff and I have photos - my phone isn't letting me add them.

The food was incredible! CC&E is located well over an hour away from our venue location, and even after that hike the food still was fresh, hot, and delicious! Our guests could not stop raving about the food all night. Autumn was also a pleasure to work with. She made everything so easy. She helped answer all of our questions, and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. We can not thank her enough, or the lovely staff that truly made our day what it was. They were awesome, and we highly recommend them to anyone in the nearby area!

Autumn at Classic Catering was amazing to work with! Organized, great communication, and reasonably priced. Our guests are still talking about our wedding food and its was less than $40/person for a plated meal. Highly recommend them for your wedding or event. They made the whole process less stressful!

Classic catering was an absolute pleasure to work with. We worked closely with Autumn and we were very lucky to have her there on our special day. She was SO helpful, very responsive, and really put us at ease. She made sure to check on us throughout the night which I really appreciated. I truly think of her as a friend now! The food Classic served on our wedding day was so delicious, we are still getting comments about it to this day. I swear people licked their plates clean. Everything went so smoothly, food was served right on time and overall the team working our wedding that day was so sweet. I highly recommend them. We are honestly looking for an excuse to throw another event in the future just to work with them.

Classic Catering and Julie were amazing! We were originally supposed to get married on May 16, 2020 and started working with Julie in early 2019 for our tasting, etc. We had to change our date two different times because of COVID and they made it super easy and eliminated so much stress from our lives - We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner booked with Classic and they were able to work with us on both. Not only were they super helpful, the entire process was seamless, easy and the communication was great. The food was AMAZING! We created some stations with Julie and wow - everyone including us LOVED the food and staff. I would highly recommend Classic - especially if you're wanting to do something out of the ordinary!

Planning a wedding during COVID was difficult, and among other things, made meeting in-person with Classic Catering ahead of time impossible. Julie worked with us as best we could, though, from a distance and developed an amazing menu for our wedding, complete with separate options for kids Not having an opportunity to taste the food ahead of time, we really didn't know what to expect. But everything was wonderful! We and our guests all enjoyed the food greatly! If I ever have need for catering again, Classic Catering & Events would definitely be at the top of my list and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Classic Catering was Amazing! The whole experience was great. The food tasting was super personal and they walk you through every step of their process so you know exactly what you are getting.
