I literally almost broke down when I walked in and saw everything. And i just keep looking back at pictures, and it seriously brings tears to my eyes. There is not a single thing I would change. Brandy and her team seriously outdid themselves! She is so easy to work with and always has the bride’s best interest in mind. She made sure anything you wanted to have happened. (Even if you want your dog to run loose down the aisle! Ha!) She had to redesign everything 2 weeks before our big day in a new venue, and she pulled everything together flawlessly! She never made me feel stressed and I trusted her and her team to do their best. They exceeded all my expectations! Everything was better than I could have imagined and I am so thankful we had her!

Hannah helped with our ceremony details as that was in a different location than our reception. She made sure everything went off without a hitch. I can’t say enough about what Brandy and her team did for our wedding. Leading up to the big day, she was always able to help me and always texted me back about my questions (no matter how small or ridiculous 😂). Being out of town, it gave me such piece of mind to have her there for me, and when I finally met her in person I just knew I was in great hands! We recently hired Brandy for a private event at our house. She did an amazing job! Our guest were blown away with how beautifully she was able to transform our backyard into such an amazing space. We absolutely love Charleston but we were looking for a different vibe - moody, dramatic, classic, elegant and what we called the “anti-Charleston” wedding. We envisioned a day with black accents that reflected a more sophisticated vibe. Enter Brandy. From the first time we met she absolutely understood the direction we wanted to take the wedding and provided us so many great resources on how to achieve the look we wanted in an affordable way. Charleston is an extremely popular (and expensive) wedding destination so we were always worried it would be out of reach. To say Brandy and her team exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. Everything was absolutely flawless and exactly what we dreamed it could be. I had no stress the day of because they took care of it all. I’d recommend Brandy to every bride - plus she’s an absolute doll and so fun to hang out with. Working with Brandy and her team was a positive and great experience. The first conversation we had, she told me that her job was to make sure, as mother of the bride, I would not have a worry on the wedding day. The planning meetings were informative and she listened to what we said and delivered. She worked and coordinated so well with our vendors, some she had not worked with before. What a beautiful ceremony and reception for my daughter and her husband. I could have not been more pleased. Since the wedding was May 1, Kentucky Derby Fay, we wanted to have mint juleps for the signature cocktail. Madelyn did a great job with styling the stand alone Julep Bar. It was wonderful! The flowers and the rentals Brandy coordinated were perfectly aligned with our vision. I am so glad to have made the decision to go with Classic Planning and Design for this special day!

My daughter was engaged October of 2019. We hired Brandy of Classic Planning & Design in January of 2020 for Ainsley's orginal wedding date of April 17, 2021. One can only imagine the anxiety of planning a wedding during Covid. Will my venue cancel? Will we need to modify guest list? Etc, etc. Brandy kept us calm and focused throughout the entire process. Our venue was the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall. Basically a barn with a dock, bathroom, and fireplace. Every last plate, fork, knife, table, decoration had to be brought in. Brandy handled every last detail at ease and made my daughter's vision a reality. The blank barn became a magical space the evening of April 17th with every detail coming to fruition. From the florals, to the table settings, to the lighting, to the custom bars, to the swings, to the lounge - Brandy and her team brought everything to life with not one hiccup. The week before the wedding she could not have been more calm when the forcast was calling for a 70% chance of rain. She secured the last tent in Charleston for us. When the weather forecast changed, she was able to work with the rental company to get us a few extras in lieu of the tent. To sum it up, my daughter took my husband and me to the end of the dock of her wedding night - starting crying, thanked us, and said everything could not have been anymore beautiful. I can’t express enough how Brandy and her team went above and beyond for my big day! I had followed her Instagram for months before I got engaged and just knew I wanted her to plan my wedding. Every meeting we had, she made sure I was on track with everything from invitations to bridal portraits! She and her team were so helpful throughout the whole planning process. On the day of when I was able to walk through my reception site for the first time, I was taken aback. It’s amazing how her vision came to life and beat any expectation I ever had! I absolutely hate that I have to even write this review. Unfortunately, I was not able to resolve my issues with this vendor. I feel strongly that she did not fulfill her responsibilities based on the amount she charged. I would say most of this could have been avoided if the communication was better. Fortunately for us, our wedding day was the BEST regardless of this issue. The only thing I would change is hiring another partial planner/day of coordinator. We paid a total of $3,336 which broken down was $2,000 for partial planner/day of coordinator and the remainder was for lights and linens.I decided to reach out to voice my concerns. The convo was short and me not getting the answer to my question. what was the $2,000 “planning” fee for? She then states that she does not offer “day of coordination”. I feel as though if that was the case, she should have been honest with us to say that maybe she isn’t the best fit for our vision. Also, herwebsite contradicts that. She was very defensive and used statements like “What are you trying to achieve”? ”What do you want”? “Do you want a refund? I was not looking for a refund, just clarification. I simply wanted clarity on where exactly $2,000 worth of time and partial planning took place. I have yet to receive an itemized receipt of that breakdown. I did receive one of the additional charges which was not my concern. Per her email.“I specialize in partial planning that includes day of coordination & that is what your mom was contracted for. This included the initial meeting that we had, phone calls, email exchanges, layout, timeline creation, me communicating with the venue/vendors leading up, the rehearsal the day before, & complete set up & breakdown on the day of.” Now let me clarify: Initial meeting @ Cracker Barrel where she was limited on time. My mom paid for her meal. Vendor contact: We secured all the vendors. My aunt provided the decorations and floral and not once was she contacted by Brandy or her assistants. The DJ was contacted once. The Cake baker had to contact them. As far as the timeline creation, she sent a blank template and we had to complete that. (I could have gotten that off Pinterest) The rehearsal was 10 minutes. The venue set up the tables and chairs for the reception, as well as, the chairs onthe lawn for the ceremony. They also broke down those components. Basically, her and her assistant put table clothes on dinner tables and cocktail tables, placed napkins at the seating, strung lights and hung a drape around the fireplace. They did assist Tracy with placing items on the tables. Now the day of issues: People were let in the reception early due to the cold weather, and they were allowed to sit at reserved tables. Multiple people made the comment that she was very rude. I reached out to one of my vendors and he said she was “Not really involved. She just was like do whatever”. She was very defensive and in spite of what she thinks, she did not do a good job. Her last text message to me was:“I have nothing further to speak with you about. Your mom sighed a contract, I provided the services per that contract.” I also signed the contract, and I have a right to argue the services. Very unprofessional. I hope I save a bride/family from dealing with something like this again. I’m sure her full services are nice but she provided no value to my special day. I wish I could take that $2,000 and spread it among the other vendues and the wait staff who did an excellent job

I lost both my ceremony and reception venue less than 2 months before our big day. Brandy and her team made me feel confident that we could pull off what I wanted in the short amount of time we had. Honestly, it was soooo perfect! More than what I ever could have imagined. She took away all my stress and was always very easy to get in touch with. While I am usually VERY hands-on in planning events and parties personally, I knew it would be too much to handle trying to plan our wedding while 1) deployed and 2) in the middle of moving across the country upon my return, so I started my search for a wedding planner about 15 months prior to our wedding. After poring through portfolios, reviews, and websites for about a month, I miraculously stumbled upon Brandy's work through a wedding rental company's website that featured her amazing weddings. I IMMEDIATELY contacted her online and within an hour, she was on the phone answering questions and getting more information about our big day! Amazing! From our first phone conversation, I knew hiring Brandy would make the wedding planning process way more fun and way less stressful, and that's exactly how the rest of the year went! She was armed with multiple vendor suggestions (but also very excited to work with vendors I discovered), expert advice and honest opinions. Throughout the planning process, Brandy was extremely patient with me as I insisted on doing several projects myself while we worked together to nail down the wedding vision. When we finally met in-person during the venue visit, I could tell that Brandy and her team were ready to tackle on the exciting challenge of a blank slate reception venue. She worked closely with our florist to come up with a dreamy and ethereal reception design that encapsulated everything I’ve been dreaming of since I started my Pinterest wedding board nearly a decade ago. Additionally, she took all my crazy ideas and projects and ran with them, doing a TON of behind-the-scenes coordination with our rental company, florist, caterer, bartender, baker, and more, to ensure our wedding was even more than we could hope for it to be. Brandy isn't joking when she says that she can deliver affordable luxury for the Classic Bride. Our wedding day ended up being even more magical and stunning than any of my Pinterest pins could have described. Even with a torrential downpour the entire morning and afternoon leading up to 30 minutes before the ceremony started, Brandy kept us calm and miraculously on schedule. I was completely floored when I finally saw our reception space; the Classic Planning & Design Company went above and beyond to transform the boathouse into an elegant, romantic, and lush affair. It was such an unreal moment, to see the hours of phone conversations, emails, and planning culminate into an entire day that went flawlessly, even when we had an unexpected SNAFU with our wedding transportation! Brandy and her team were on top of it immediately and I never even found out about it until the end of the night, after all our guests had already been taken safely home via alternate transportation. I am fully confident that there is no other team that could have pulled off our wonderful day. While Magnolia Plantation is beautiful all on it's own, she transformed the Carriage House into a space that bled our love! We could not be more grateful for Classic Planning and Design!
