We also had an American-Indian wedding and didn't know how to execute a fusion ceremony. But, Melissa was an absolute pro, helping us with all our decisions! When you work with someone for fifteen months, to plan the most important day of your life, you get to know that person pretty well. From our initial call, and then when my daughter and I met with Suzy, we knew we hit the jackpot! Our daughter and son-in-law live 1,000 miles away and both have demanding jobs. My husband and I are in Chicago, but it was important for it to be our daughter’s vision and wedding, and to have a planner she could relate to and team with long distance. Suzy is that one in a million person! We contracted for Month/Day of Coordination as well as General Consulting Services. The General Consulting add-on is a game changer, as Suzy was a sounding board for us throughout the entire planning process. We could run ideas by her, ask questions anytime, and get her vendor recommendations: photographer, florist, hair and make-up, transportation. Suzy knows all the best in the industry and works within your budget. Suzy knew where to get the best bridesmaids dresses and tuxes for the entire wedding party who was scattered from coast to coast. We had group texts and zoom calls, she attended vendor meetings with us, and our daughter met with her whenever she came into town. Suzy was at the tasting, the Friday church rehearsal and Saturday wedding ceremony. She was at the club, too, from early morning until midnight on the day of the wedding, as personal assistant to the bride and groom, bridal party, and families. Denise, her assistant, is also fantastic, calm and anticipates all your needs. Like Suzy, she was always in ten places at once. Suzy created a timeline for the months leading up to the wedding, and also a day-of timeline that kept the bridal party and families organized and on time. She shared the timeline with all of the vendors, including the band leader/MC, to guarantee everything was perfect on the big day. Suzy made planning exciting and stress-free. Our daughter and son-in-law were able to have “fun and enjoy” planning their wedding!! She knows the Chicago wedding industry inside and out, has an excellent reputation and great relationships with all the vendors. They all respect her and follow her lead. Every vendor told us that Suzy is the best and they were thrilled to be teaming with her. It is extremely important that your planner and the vendors have a history of working together to ensure the wedding weekend is seamless. Our daughter and son-in-law say their wedding was perfect in every way; their dream came true. All of our guests, including those from overseas, said it was the best wedding they’d ever attended! Hire Suzy and you will not need to worry about a thing. It is the best investment you can make. She actually saved us money with her suggestions and vendor recommendations. She’s become a dear friend. We’re all going through major wedding and Suzy withdrawal!

anning a wedding. Dana came in about 2 months before the big day and handled pretty much everything. She created the most detailed (and amazing) timeline, coordinated everything with the vendors, and essentially set up the day to run as smooth as possible. On the actual weekend, she was there to make sure the rehearsal went on without a hitch and on the day of the wedding made sure that everything ran according to plan. If anything went wrong or I had a question to anything, she had an answer! My bustle even broke on my dress and she was able to fix it! It was the BEST money we spent throughout this process. Cannot recommend her or Clementine enough!!

I have never been so involved with planning a wedding and I am a perfectionist so having someone who could guide me while being on my level of perfection made the entire process seamless. Every single detail that I imagined and planned was manifested and perfected mainly through the hard work from Clementine (Alicia!). Her timeline was impeccable and made sure that we were able to experience each special detail of the day without feeling rushed or forced. I woke up the day after my wedding and the vendors were tipped, the supplies were brought back into my room, our wedding cards were on a table in the hotel room, and there was a piece of wedding cake on the table with a bottle of prosecco. She anticipated our needs before we asked. We truly did not have to worry about a thing all night or the next day. I recommend Alicia over and over again. She was the best money I ever spent and we truly could not have done it without her. BOOK HER.

to pull this off without help. I was referred to Clementine from my venue. I sent an email and an hour later Alicia responded, we talked, and she has already started picking up the pieces, so I knew she was the person to work with. From that point until the day of my wedding she had things running smooth. She kept every vendor in the loop, took care of all the loose ends and was such a joy to work with. Her bubble personality is all business, and she is willing to step in and help with anything. She kept a great timeline, communicated it and I had a large wedding party and she made sure they all knew what was going on when and where. Knowing I had her there the day of the wedding made me feel sure things were getting done and everything looked great. When I first thought about getting a wedding planner, I was hesitant b/c of the cost and I now know the cost is nothing compared to the time and effort that is put in to make sure everything runs smooth. Thank you Alicia and Thank you Clementine our day would not have been as successful without you!

wedding may never happen. Her positivity and calm demeanor always put us at ease and there was never a doubt that we were in good hands. We hired her for "Day of" planning, as well as floral and decor for our June 2021 wedding. I can't even count how many times she went above and beyond what was expected. Despite changing dates and juggling multiple weddings, Jaci always made us feel like we were her #1 priority. When our florist fell through, not only did she have a new one lined up within 48 hours, but one who knocked it out of the park on the first try. On the day of, Jaci and her assistant Anna did an amazing job making sure our wedding day went perfectly. Our vendors, wedding party and family were so impressed with their professionalism and appreciated their help as much as we did. Jaci's dedication also didn't end at the end of the night. She followed-up after the wedding to ensure everything was taken care of, so we were able to have a worry-free honeymoon. zy!!! I was one of the many brides that was all ready to be married in 2020 and then 2020 happened and we had to post pone. Suzy was our right hand woman and number one we reached out to when my now husband and I had no idea what to do/how to handle our wedding. Suzy handled everything beautifully and made an email to all our vendors explaining we were postponing and that they all hopefully lined up with our new 2021 date. The amount of stress, frustration, and tears that Suzy relieved of me I will forever be thankful for her. When it came time to our wedding (after 3 years of being engaged) Suzy made our day the most perfect, LEAST stressful, hands-down the best day of our lives. And my husband and I didn’t have a single worry about timing, events, etc..all thanks to the wonderful Clementine team. Need I say more? Suzy also on top of an amazing day-of coordinator quickly transitioned into someone we love to call our friend too!! With her bubbly personality, her genuine care and passion for the industry and all her couples, you would be making a huge mistake to NOT go with Clementine!! Grace got to work before she was contracted to, arrives earlier than she needed to, coordinated with our vendors and the venue to execute the most beautiful and FLAWLESS wedding we could have ever dreamt of. Honestly, there are few words to adequately describe Grace and what she means to my husband, family, and me. We couldn't have imagined our day without her. She was a beacon of trust, strength, stability, and was always 100% in control and executing all the planning we had done. She knew how anxious I was and helped me make decisions quickly and confidently. She truly never waivered or flustered (even when we lost a bow tie). She was SO excellent, I had people coming up to me saying "wow is that your coordinator, she is ON TOP OF IT".. We are truly so grateful to Grace and the entire Clementine team. Dana also took care of a transportation malfunction 2 days before our wedding. Dana is incredibly professional and was very responsive. She is very sweet and so easy to work with. Mary and her team sure delivered! Aside from wardrobe, I had to start completely over with wedding planning including finding new vendors for everything. I was looking for a partner that would be flexible, fast, and great to work with, and Clementine Events fit the bill. They delivered a thorough plan with goals for each week of what we needed to get done and actually made the process enjoyable. The number of times Mary said yes when I brought something to her, when my previous experience which was planning a destination wedding had been hearing a lot of no’s, was incredible and so refreshing. Whether a request to have her look for character performers to calling her the morning of to inform her I was adding a bridesmaid, every detail was taken care of to make my wedding dreams come true. Though I never want to plan another wedding I would love to work with Mary and Clementine Events again in a heartbeat.

n extremely busy surgical resident - I KNEW I needed a planner to help. I could never have dreamed about finding a planner as wonderful as Jaci. We started this wedding planning journey in 2019 and a month before the wedding COVID shut down Chicago. Jaci stayed calm and collected (even despite all of the uncertainty I'm sure she faced for her own profession during such a hard time) and helped with re-securing and re-contracting every single vendor - through TWO attempted additional wedding dates. Now that COVID has finally allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams I can say with certainty that it would not have been possible without Jaci. She took care of every single detail (most of which I never would have even thought of) over a drawn out COVID-delayed two year process and always did everything in order to keep my worries to a minimum. I seriously cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had Jaci throughout this process. Cannot recommend Jaci enough!!!!

ne. Jaci was that perfect person for us! She has this warm and inviting personality that will easily make you depend on her expertise. She is quick in responding to emails in a timely manner with an array of suggestions and recommendations as needed. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic we had a significant amount of difficulty getting our international designer/florist in the country. Jaci had seen this as our biggest hurdle in the wedding planning process and immediately was able to look for a solution. She helped us with referrals to other known excellent designer/florist in the area that we can trust! The end result? We had the most beautiful wedding at the Rialto Square Theater this past June, 2021. Jaci was truly a great resource to have as a wedding planner!
