About this vendor
Oh darling, Clementine Hall is a one of a kind, just like you.
Just a two-step away from downtown Nashville. Your heart will skip a beat when you see her beauty, but it's so much more than just skin deep. Included amenities give you the convenience to easily create your boutique wedding, without the hassles of a bare bones venue or the restrictions of an all-inclusive venue.
Clementine Hall is a smashing wedding and event venue where friends, family and hangers-on have been gathering, celebrating, falling in love and sometimes getting drunk, since 1889. Lovingly restored and renovated indoor and outdoor spaces provide a brilliant foundation to express your individuality, so when your wedding, event or concert is over, you’ll be gone but not forgotten.
As with our original venue, Ruby, we can never divulge the origin of her name; it will only ruin your imagination.
Clementine Hall was redesigned and rebuilt in 2018, 130 years after its original construction, by the designers of Ruby, which has been a staple of the Hillsboro Village neighborhood adjacent to Vanderbilt University since 2011. Clementine itself anchors the historic section of Sylvan Park that borders The Nations neighborhood. Clementine is near pretty much everything in Nashville.
Clementine Hall is among the very finest wedding, corporate, music, and non-profit venues in Nashville. Two large, distinctive interior spaces, three dressing rooms, a private outdoor courtyard and large catering kitchen check all boxes. Perhaps because we are in Music City, we chose to deliver the most comprehensive, integrated audio, video and lighting systems of all Nashville venues. And because we own the property, we were able to restore the building to an exceptional level of quality. After all, we think of ourselves as architects, designers and engineers.
We truly understand that most people who wish to plan an event are starting from scratch. You may need to become an event expert in short order. To assist in that effort, we think that you'll find all of the information you seek about Clementine Hall here on our website. This includes our rates, dates, FAQs, and even a blog that covers architecture, design and what we think makes our venues unique in the Nashville market and how to go about selecting your venue.
What should you expect from us at Clementine? It's an important question to ask of an independent venue. We believe in simplifying the venue experience for our clients at every opportunity - and once you begin planning, you will likely become an ardent proponent of this philosophy. Freedom to achieve a boutique, one-of-a-kind event is another tenant we hold dear. And of course integrating all of the complex audio, lighting and other systems into our design is our hallmark.
We hope to see you for a tour Clementine Hall soon.
RENTAL RATES: Rates are based upon the day of the week and season and range from $4,400 to $17,000.

Clementine could not have been more perfect! They made everything run so smoothly and were a HUGE help in making our wedding so special and beautiful!!
Incredible space and truly a beautiful venue! We initially reserved with the understanding that this was a boutique space meaning we’d have to provide/find vendors for basically everything - with the small detail of rentals being strictly through a preferred vendor. We were hoping to support and uplift smaller businesses since at the time the vendor application fee was only $50 per app, but realized that this venue had certain insurance requirements that made it more difficult to venture outside their pre approved list. Also important to note that as of the start of 2022, the vendor application fee is now $500 per app, so if you want to use someone that isn’t on their pre-approved list be prepared for that extra cost.
To be clear, I think the venues requirements are to help ensure peak professionalism at all their events, but part of our desire to go with a boutique venue was to be able to bring in more unique ~non traditional~ vendors. Again - our day was perfect and everything worked out and this place is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and we would book again but turns out reading a contract is kinda important hahaha happy wedding planning!
Bride and Grooms beware!
I’m only giving this two stars because the venue itself is gorgeous! However the owners down the stretch proved to be a huge pain in the ass! I mean why not they already have your money.
We followed every rule in their contract. A week before the wedding they told my DJ company that my DJ could only use their house speakers and couldn’t bring their own. Thankfully their speakers are awesome but they told our DJ company when they tried to discuss it that “look you will use our speakers or we will call he bride and groom and tell them they no longer have a DJ.”
Let me go back in time a little when we were selecting our vendors after choosing the Clementine and just tell you many vendors around Nashville will not book at the Clementine or their sister property because the owners are very difficult to work with so be cautious there as well.
Another incident that pissed us off is we had vendors set to arrive at 9:30am to start setting up but they told us the week of that they would not unlock the doors until 10am unless we paid an additional $500. Thankfully again our vendors were flexible but are you kidding me?
And lastly we had an amazing planner since Nashville was a destination wedding for us and guess who these people kept contacting? If you guessed our planner you would be wrong. It’s not like we aren’t stressed enough but they kept blowing our phones and emails up about all the stuff they took issue with. This is despite our planner asking them nicely to stop bothering us and only contact her. Nope they kept contacting us about it all.
So again you might your this place and get the same goosebumps my wife and I got and said this is it but it’s more than physical beauty that makes a wedding venue beautiful. Take heed to this review and remember you still have to deal with the people who don’t care about you because they e collected their non refundable money.
Lastly if you go tour the place take a look around the property outside the walls. Parking is a nightmare for your guests so if you decide to book anyway tell your guests to Uber to the wedding
Wow.. this venue is stunning! I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else! The different dressing rooms with fun wall paper, the huge organ, the tall arched windows, the gold accents, the moody vibes overall… so amazing. So many compliments from our guests on how great the venue was. Brenda and Dan were great too; quick to answer questions and willing to work with me on visit dates (as an out of town bride). I would absolutely do it all over again at Clementine hall! Highly recommend!!
