I want to preface this review by saying that this is a brutally honest review from a bride with very high standards. I took 3 days to write this review for Christine because she literally saved our wedding after our original planner quit. Christine has been the most organized, funny, inspiring, and all around most beautiful human you will meet. In the last year I have grown to love her wit and charm, but, more than anything, I have come to appreciate why beautiful, organized, and Instagram-worthy weddings (like ours) are not done without amazing planners like Christine. I found Christine in the middle of the night on The Knot's vendor search in Feb. 2020 for our Jul. 2020 wedding. I was frantically searching for a reliable, personable, and enthusiastic planner after our original planner unexpectedly quit. I was in shambles! I needed someone who could pick up the pieces of what was already planned, get up to speed on the contracts of the 15+ vendors already booked, and help us finish preparing for our over the top, royalty themed luxe wedding. No pressure, right? Christine was the only one that immediately called me (even though it was in the late evening and I'm sure my request email made me sound like a nut) and said " I'm sorry you're going through this. I can definitely handle this!" She was right!
Christine coordinated the vendors we already had and helped us find the amazing performer duo Acute Inflections from her rolodex. Christine also took things we bought for the wedding the weekend before, organized them, labeled them, and transported them on site so that she could most efficiently help set things up the day of the wedding. She also rented to us a lovely 10 foot pre-lit tree that our florist decorated with greenery, flowers, and crystals. It was fabulous! Lastly, she created a meticulous day of timeline that included my three dress changes, our first look, vendor arrivals and departures, guest arrivals and departures, ceremony events, cocktail events, and all dinner activities (dances, speeches, performances, meal times, etc.). It was 50+ entries long and included contact info for vendors - I'm not talking about the vendor owners - Christine literally got contact info for day-of-wedding delivery drivers and set up employees (I swear, this lady had CIA level clearance because she had everyone on that paper!).
The day of the wedding, Christine was a super star! Christine and her amazing assistant Melissa were running around all day making sure the vendors arrived on time, had everything they needed, were doing things as per the contracts and/or vision board, and knew where they needed to be and at what time. Christine and Melissa even set up our massive 8 foot high/6 foot wide castle wedding cake (not easy! See photos). Notably, Christine personally made sure I made it into all 3 dresses (I almost didn't make it into dress 3, but thanks to Christine I did!).
Everything was PERFECT! We laughed, cried, danced, ate, drank, and, more than anything, reveled in knowing that we finally had our big royal wedding like we dreamed. Christine was right, she handled everything and, for life, has us as clients and family!
