From first blush to wedded bliss, Cloud Nine has made two of our daughters' wedding feasts delicious and memorable. Each time, their careful thought to the procurement of fine locally sourced foods, healthfully prepared and beautifully presented, was paired with exquisite timing and gracious service. Cloud Nine ensured that both meals added to the joyful, peaceful pleasures of both wedding days.

My Husband and I used Cloud Nine for our Wedding at Harkness this past September. We dealt with Christine and Christina and they were both awesome. We felt as if they went above and beyond for our wedding. Very attentive to our wedding schedule, details and the food was amazing as well as the service. We recommend anyone looking for a caterer to choose Cloud nine as you get a lot with your package and they do more than just cater your wedding!

As a dietitian, I talk about food constantly. It is an extremely important part of my life and my work. When considering wedding caterers, I wanted to have our menu stand out and shine with flavor. Cloud 9 Catering did exactly that!!!! We were able to choose from a variety of delicious menu options, some of which we had the opportunity to taste at the Lace Factory fall tasting event. Our guests COULD NOT stop talking about how delicious their meal was and how amazing the dessert options were. Our cake was so adorable and the catering company followed our exact wishes in decorating it. We also had PIE and cupcakes!!! In addition, managing people's allergies was high on my list as well. Cloud 9 made it one of their top priorities to provide meals to everyone, including ones with dietary restrictions. Special meals were made for these guests. Even the catering company reached out about a guest that the B/G forgot about!!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Exceptional service and amazing food. Who could go wrong???

There are a few things guests will remember from your wedding: the music, the dress, and the food. Cloud Nine Catering blew it out of the park with the food! We had our tasting and knew what we wanted almost immediately. The fish wasn't dry, the meat fell off the bone, and our guests are still raving about the passed apps and cocktail hour stations! A+++

I attended a wedding this summer and the food was prepared by Cloud Nine Catering and I have to say that it was the most delicious food EVER! Everything from the hors d' ouevres to the entree and all the way to the desserts, everything was amazing! I would highly recommend them for any occasion!

I cannot say enough great things about Cloud Nine at our wedding! They worked with us on creating the perfect menu for our vision. Our guests raved about the food and service. The setup, presentation, and cleanup were very impressive. Everything went perfectly!

Cloud Nine Catering was AMAZING! We have not stopped hearing our friends and family rave about all of the food at our wedding! They worked with us to come up with a menu that worked for my restaurant owner husband as well as parts of my family who have severe food allergies! Easiest part of planning the wedding was working with cloud nine. They managed all of the set up and even packed the car for us at the end of the night. The space is unique and allows each couple to personalize the day. The food was fantastic! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the apps that were passed around.

Cloud Nine Catering did our food for our wedding at The Lace Factory. They gave us SO MANY options to choose from, and we were able to create a perfect menu for our big day. They accommodated food allergies within our group and a few picky eaters, and were so polite and helpful throughout the entire planning process. They also took care of our cake which was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Our guests have not stopped raving about our food and the cake since our wedding which was over a month ago! I would highly recommend them to cater your event, and those that are at The Lace Factory are SO LUCKY to have them as the exclusive caterer. Thank you!!

My husband and I used Cloud Nine Catering for our wedding on 09/01/2017 at the Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park in Waterford, CT. We could not have been happier! We attended the tasting in April at the Lace Factory where we were able to sample different appetizers and food choices. I am so fortunate that they held that tasting because we were able to get a sense of what to serve at our wedding. The food was fantastic, everything from the appetizers, to the food choices, and dessert! Cloud Nine worked with us throughout the entire wedding process, very attentively, on making sure our wedding day would be unforgettable and everything we had imagined. The Cloud Nine Staffing crew, the day of the wedding was fantastic. We worked with Kim Dunn as our day coordinator, and Christina as our head server! OMG, they were outstanding at caterering to our needs the entire day. They were all so supportive, organized, and professional. I am so happy we went with Cloud Nine because they exceeded our expectations at our wedding. Thank you so much!

Cloud 9 catered my daughter’s backyard wedding. The party worked out perfectly, in large part due to the fantastic job this company did. The Cloud 9 people had many good ideas for us, and their suggestions were invaluable. They ordered and organized all necessary items: tables, chairs, linens, dishes, etc. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. There was a huge crew of chefs, servers, and staff. They all had smiles on their faces, worked diligently throughout the evening, and were completely accommodating. Wedding planner Tiffany, who helped us out on Friday and Saturday, was wonderful. She was so helpful and kind and encouraging, and handled everything with skill. Everything happened on time and with expertise. The few minor curve balls were handled quickly and apparently effortlessly. We were thrilled with Cloud Nine’s work, and recommend them without reservation.

We are so very thankful we chose Cloud Nine to cater our daughter’s wedding at the Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park. From our first planning meeting to the end of the wedding night, they were simply superb. The large and generous variety of appetizers were presented beautifully; each was unique and delicious. All three main course choices were excellent; desserts painstakingly made and equally delectable. A special thank you to coordinators Kim and Nicole; the appetizers were served immediately after the ceremony, and throughout the evening courses seamlessly followed each other; yet one never felt rushed by the courteous and accommodating waitstaff. We highly recommend Cloud Nine Catering; pleasant, efficient and having fine culinary talent. The cake was beautiful, however I never got a piece. I guess I will have to wait for their anniversary cake topper.

We were very happy with our choice of Cloud Nine Catering. They are very personable and even comped us a tasting when we had gone to the wrong one. They knew exactly what we wanted when we described our somewhat non-traditional cake (which was so delicious!). The venue we chose had a very strict timeline and our coordinators, Kim and Nicole were the best. They made sure everything with the ceremony and reception ran smoothly. They even delivered us cocktails and appetizers during our cocktail hour while we were taking photos. They really brought my vision to life, setting up the tables and all the other details. While we walked around greeting our guests, everyone raved about the food and how delicious the filet mignon was! One of our guests also commented on how well the timing of the food came out. All the dinners and courses came out to everyone at the same time. Very happy with our decision to go with them as our caterer!

We got married on Sep. 16, 2016 - Cloud Nine provided us with many wonderful choices for our dinner and desserts. Everything we picked was exceptional and beautifully prepared. The only downside was that there was absolutely no food left over to bring home. Our guests had licked their plates clean! Delicious food and professional staff. Thank you.

I don't usually give out 5 star reviews HOWEVER every single person we encountered from CloudNine was amazing. They were extremely accommodating, helping me work through the wedding plans from out of state and fitting me in when I was in town on quick trips. All my guests talked for weeks about the amazing food and were so thankful for the variety of gluten free choices. I don't normally eat my whole meal and you'd guess on your wedding day you wouldn't but my husband and I couldn't help but to finish up our plates!! Christine was an amazing coordinator, Nicole was a great bride/groom gopher, getting us any little thing we needed. We will definitely use them for future events! Thanks ladies (and all the behind the scenes staff)!!!

Wedding planning was so much easier due to the fact that Cloud Nine caters all of the Lace Factory weddings. The menu is a bit overwhelming at first because there are SO many options to choose from, but they are all delicious. The tasting was really fun, I got to bring my whole family and we enjoyed a long and huge lunch put on by Cloud nine. We tweaked the menu a bit and on the wedding night, the food came out great. Guests even mentioned how delicious the apps were (the brie especially!) The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because our meals were not piping hot, which I am somewhat of a stickler for. We only had 89 guests, so it was not a huge wedding to keep every plate hot. BUT, the best part about it was the CAKE!!!! I can't wait for next June to dig into that amazing cake. Thanks again guys!

Our wedding was in late July at The Lace Factory, catered by Cloud Nine. The entire staff was so sweet, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Andrea helped us build our menu, taking into consideration what was freshest for the season and what would suit our guests' needs. Kim and Pam were so friendly and fantastic in organizing and problem solving. The cocktail hour was delicious! The staff made sure we had samples to taste, which often doesn't happen for the bride and groom. YUM to every app! The entrees were good, but not outstanding, which is the only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of 5. My mother-in-law noticed that some of the portions weren't consistent, either, although I didn't notice that one bit! We brought our own cutting cake, but the desserts provided by Cloud Nine were outrageously delicious! Amazing pies, mini cupcakes, mini cannolis, and milkshake shooters! They were open to our ideas, which we really appreciated. No wedding experience is perfect, but I'd say Cloud Nine came pretty close!

Cloud Nine was amazing! Ana was so helpful and so easy to work with. She and the entire team made the planning fun and effortless. The food was fantastic- everyone kept saying how delicious everything was. The team also helped me out with the floor plan and layout of the room. Their feedback was incredibly helpful and I was so, so happy with the final product. Overall, I highly recommend Cloud Nine- great service and great food!!

Cloud Nine was flawless. The food was exquisite, the service was spectacular, the attitude was super friendly, kind, accommodating, and positive. We can not say enough about how perfect Cloud Nine was. Our wedding cake was off the charts delicious and executed to our exact specifications. The Harvest Table was unforgettable with exotic cheeses, smoked salmon, and everything imaginable. The service was super efficient, with servers collecting tables of dishes nimbly in large baskets. Truly recommended by bride, groom, and guests, as well as our venue, the Lyme Art Association.

Cloud Nine Catering did an amazing job at our August 12th wedding at The Lace Factory. We had nothing but positive reviews from our guests about the food at our wedding. We had a key lime cake also created by Cloud Nine and that as well was beautifully decorated and incredibly delicious. The staff was always ready and willing to do whatever we needed. Kim and Christine were wondering during planning and the day of. Kim always made sure we had water or a drink readily available and even made sure we sat down to eat our dinner. We can't say enough about how wonderful the staff, service and food at Cloud Nine was! Thank you!!

After signing with Cloud Nine Catering, their dedication to customer service and making our night unforgettable was very clear. They were professional, timely, confident, and the food was fantastic! We had special requests in that we had a pizza food truck for our entree, but Cloud Nine still worked with us to make it all work and make everything run smoothly. Their on-site manager was amazing and incredibly kind and superbly efficient. We enjoyed working with them and loved the end result.

So many great things about this catering company!! Ana and Christine were amazing! They made sure the layout was just right prior to the date. They made absolute sure we were taken care of during the wedding. It was a huge help and was very nice and special to know someone was around! The food was great, our cake was beautiful!

We dealt with Andrea and Ana at Cloud Nine. They were caterers and wedding planners wrapped into one. They made planning the wedding fun and creative! Andrea really has an eye for style and design. Cloud Nine was extremely generous putting in hours and hours .... and hours ... of planning, but their expertise shined brightest the "day off" the wedding. We had plenty of tent space to "cover" everyone and everything, but with a late June wedding, you really hate to wake up to a forecast of "80% chance of heavy rain". We were in denial.... but Andrea and Ana took charge and made the call early to go with Plan B: everything under the tent. The staff was unrattled and dealt with the rain as if it wasn't even there. All of them were not only hardworking and pleasant, they served and smiled the entire evening, as if they too were having the time of their lives!! The Alfresco menu delivered under "camping" conditions was the best we've had. You know it's heartfelt when dozens of guests go out of their way to compliment the food. What impressed us the most was Andrea's determination to captain our wedding, even though she had another wedding at the Lace Factory the same night. It was a privilege to have her there. She works best under pressure and never acted stressed by the daunting task of feeding 175 people with a grill and several warming trays! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Cloud Nine for our wedding this past July. We could not have been happier with how the entire journey to the wedding day and day of went. The staff is helpful and professional---a joy to work with. The food is absolutely amazing, and all of our guests concurred! As it happened, we also used Cloud Nine for my bridal shower brunch. Another great experience with great food! I would highly recommend Cloud Nine for any event!

Cloud Nine went above and beyond our catering expectations for our wedding. We customized our menu and bar selections, as well as table linens and floor plans - all for the most reasonable pricing I found in the area. Cloud Nine's food is delicious and also beautifully displayed. They are wedding experts and their day-of coordination of our big day was an added bonus since we did not use a planner. Could not have done it all without them!

We just had our wedding and Cloud 9 did an amazing job! The food was superb and all of our guests RAVED about the Chocolate with White Chocolate Mousse Cake!!! It was so good it came with us on our honeymoon and my husband ate the cake for a solid week after, until the fridge started to smell like fermented Strawberries :) Needless to say I would use them again in a heartbeat! Cloud Nine catered our wedding at the Lace Factory on May 29, 2015. Andrea, Courtney, Nicole, and the entire Lace Factory/Cloud Nine team were so wonderful to us and really helped with planning and making our day perfect. I am definitely a foodie, and this food was unbelievably delicious, fresh, and local! Not only did they bring us drinks and appetizers when we were doing pictures, but they also made sure we got full plates of food during the reception. The servers even went around the room to our guests with platters of food to make sure there would be minimal food waste from the buffet. Our shy guests who didn't want to go up to get more from the buffet, were able to eat more without feeling bad. They also saved the leftovers for us, which my husband and I were SO happy to have after the wedding when we got back to our room. Our cake was so yummy and definitely go for the whoppie pies!!!!! Our guests loved them and wished there were more. I highly recommend this caterer for your events!! Thank you again for helping us live our dream wedding!

Finding the right vendors to trust for planning a wedding can be challenging but if you find the right people, it can make all the difference. With that being said, my wife and I could not have been happier about the professionalism and food that Cloud Nine Catering provided for us. We had friends reach out to us after the wedding asking for information about the food. They were part of the reason the wedding was special.

I got married this past summer and Cloud Nine and The Lace Factory were absolutely amazing to work with. From the beginning they showed that they really wanted to help my wedding day be as perfect as I pictured.. They helped make the whole planning process so seamless and fun. When we went to the tasting last fall, we were able to try so many options, it was hard to pick what we wanted on our menu. We ended up doing a family style dinner (super fun!!) Everyone is still talking about how good everything was! This venue was exactly what I wanted with an industrial chic look that is so easy to customize the way you want it to look. I cant get over how PERFECT my wedding day was. I used them on my wedding last October, and they did such an fantastic job. From the beginning, I was extremely impressed that the staff worked with me on my budget to provide a great option that worked for me. On the actual day of the wedding, I felt so pampered going into the bridal sweet to find all sorts of drinks and snacks for me and my ladies. After the ceremony, it was such a frenzy that I hardly had a chance to breath, but I was touched when the staff came to me and the bridal party while we were doing photos, with a plate of appetizers, so we had a chance to eat. The food was simply AMAZING!! to this day everyone still talks about how good the it was. I highly recommend them.

Cloud Nine was the perfect fit for my wedding. The venue I used allowed us to pick from three caterers and I could not be happier with my choice. The food was out of this world, all my guests are still talking about their meal. They also provide you with a planner to help organize everything, which really pulled the day together and allowed me to have fun at the wedding and stop worrying! I would highly recommend using them!

Cloud Nine did a great job at our wedding at the Lace Factory. We opted for a family style meal and it was such a great way to do things- the best of a buffet (you get to eat everything) and a seated meal (no awkward walking and waiting around to get food) combined into one! The food was fantastic- everything was hot and prepared as promised. They were flexible with all menu choices, allowing us to change anything we wanted. The service was also great- everyone was friendly and helpful!

My husband and I were recently married at Eolia mansion at Harkness Memorial State Park and selected Cloud Nine because we were so impressed with their food and service at my sisters wedding a couple of years ago. Our experience working with Cloud 9 was everything we could have asked for and beyond from the tasting to the continuous communication, to the walk through to the wedding. Our day was perfect and so was their service and food. All the guests we spoke with commented on how wonderful the food and service was. Thank you Cloud Nine for helping make our day so memorable.

I was recently a guest a wedding catered by Cloud Nine Catering and I was absolutely blown away. I have a background in catering and I understand how much work goes into a perfectly executed event. The food was amazing! The bride and groom had an extended cocktail hour (which was awesome) and the passed apps just kept coming. There was one app, the duck on a gingersnap that was possibly the best thing I've ever had. I may have stalked the servers carrying that tray because I couldn't get enough. When dinner came, everything was cooked to perfection and hot. Cocktails, especially the signature cocktail were delicious and certainly helped me and the other guests stay on the dance floor until the music stopped, and maybe a little after the music ended :) Thank you Cloud Nine for such an incredible night and wedding for my darling friend!!

I got married last August at Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park, where Cloud Nine is one of the preferred vendors. It pains me to say this, but Cloud Nine was so awful that I cannot look back at my wedding with anything but disappointment. I had high hopes for this caterer as they were initially very responsive, they provided an excellent tasting, and they were helpful. On the day, the only things that came off without a hitch were the cake (taste only - design was a disaster), the salad, and the set up and rentals of chairs and linens. We ordered a champagne toast at $4/head and they FORGOT. I must have confirmed timelines with Cloud Nine a dozen times, and each time the champagne toast was listed at the very top as the first thing poured at dinner. We started our speeches and then had to stop because we realized there was no champagne. It was awkward and embarrassing. Dinner was a disaster. The servers didn't know what they were doing, despite the fact that Cloud Nine insisted I send over a seating plan with meal orders as well as place cards with meal choices labeled for each guest. My bridal party and family had to step in to help the servers and, to top it off, the servers gave my bridal party attitude. My guests said it came across as chaotic and unprofessional. The food was inedible. They provided us with the WRONG side dish and it was absolutely disgusting. Everyone's filet mignons came out cold and I saw many people leave their fish on the table because it was so cold and bland. It was NOTHING like the tasting we received. The veggie option was a success, but only 6 people ordered it, so the majority of my guests were unhappy with their meal. The cake was delicious, but the design was really a mess. The baker e-mailed me asking for pictures of what design I wanted, so I did. I specifically said, "If you could have accents of gold, great. If not, just use ivory." They used bright yellow. What was the point of asking for my cake design order if they didn't care? They promised us (the bride & groom, plus bridal party) a personal butler at the cocktail hour to serve us hor d'oeuvres and drinks. The butler showed up once and then disappeared. We had to send our wedding planner to find them again, and by the time they showed up, it was time for dinner. This shouldn't have happened. The bar service was good, overall. However, some guests mentioned that the bartender played on her phone and ignored them, even raising a finger and saying, "Just a minute" so she could play a GAME on her phone. VERY unprofessional and absolutely inexcusable behavior. Our catering package came with a signature cocktail and, on the day, we NEVER saw it. Yet another disappointment from Cloud Nine catering. I contacted Cloud Nine after my wedding with my concerns and asked for an explanation. They then had my wedding planner call me and beg to take down my mother's Yelp review. They didn't even want to make it right. Cloud Nine Catering is just abominable and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

We paid for tasting, don't bother, your food wont taste anything like it does at the tasting, The awful appetizers were from Costco and they ran out of them, and bread. I ordered pass around and a harvest table which was the best they offered. It was the worst cocktail hour I have ever been to in my life. The did not ask ANY guests how they wanted their filet mignon cooked, just served very rare cold slabs of meat which most people did not eat. The Mahi Mahi was not good either. They "forgot" about the champagne toast I had paid $4.00 per person for, I brought it to their attention and they then served one third of a glass of warm cheap champagne. The did not serve coffee or cake at the table. They set up a help yourself station in another room, many of our guests did not know there was either coffee or cake. This debacle occurred because my daughter INSISTED she had to be married at the Eola Mansion at Harkness and they would only let you choose from a list of 3, yes THREE caterers. We visited all three, choosing what we thought was the best. If I had this to do over I would have the ceremony at the park, and have the reception at a real catering venue.

Cloud Nine recently catered our wedding at The Lace Factory. They provided all of the food and the cake. The food was fantastic and was enjoyed by all of our guests. Many of our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the food. The cake was amazing! The staff catered to our special needs and provided a menu that really fit our personalities. In fact, we had two gusts with allergies, which the staff monitored closely. I would use them again for any event, larger or smaller.

We used Cloud Nine for our wedding and LOVED them! We went to the tasting prior to the wedding, which actually made our decsion harder, as everything was delicious. Even after making our our decision on the 3 meals we'd serve at the wedding, I had a hard time deciding what I wanted! The wedding was perfect, with help from the amazing food and staff. The service was great and everyone so attentive. They were especially great to me and my now husband...we never had an empty glass! Thank you Cloud Nine! As we don't live in the area, we hired Cloud Nine without tasting anything. We were incredibly nervous but we shouldn't have been. The food was just right. Our package came with a coordinator, who was very helpful. We did our flowers ourselves and when we showed up to deliver them, she took charge and had them all set up for us. The servers were nice and on top of the passed hors d'oeuvres. They noticed if people were waiting and rush over with more.

Caterer was great! Food was good, should have gone to a tasting beforehand, would have changed a few things on dinner menu. Service was great and very accomodating due to circumstance.
